Just when you thought it was safe to assume that Ebola-in-America was fixed (one day into Ron Klain's tenure as Ebola Czar), NYPost reports some rather disquieting news. A New York City doctor - who returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea 10 days ago - has been rushed under police escort to Bellevue Hospital... He is being tested for Ebola. Market liquidity has dried up instantly!

Update #2:

  • POSSIBLE NYC EBOLA PATIENT DID NOT SELF-QUARANTINE: CNN
  • POSSIBLE NYC EBOLA PATIENT TOOK UBER TO BOWLING ALLEY YDAY: CNN

As The Daily Mail reports,

Dr Craig Spencer, 33, who returned to the U.S. ten days ago from Guinea, was admitted to Bellevue Hospital in midtown Manhattan on Thursday and is being cared for in isolation.

The doctor flew to Africa on September 18 to treat patients in Guinea with non-profit organization, Medecins San Frontieres (MSF).

The medic works at Columbia University Medical Center and originally comes from Detroit, Michigan.

Investigators were taking the case seriously because it is not believed that the doctor self-quarantined on his return from Guinea, CNN reported.

On September 18, Dr Spencer tweeted a picture of himself wearing a full yellow hazmat suit and face mask with the message: 'Off to Guinea with Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Please support organizations that are sending support or personnel to West Africa, and help combat one of the worst public health and humanitarian disasters in recent history.'

On October 16, he checked in at a hotel in Brussels, Belgium, presumably on his return journey from Guinea to the U.S.

Full Statement on Patient at Bellevue Hospital

Today, EMS HAZ TAC Units transferred to Bellevue Hospital a patient who presented a fever and gastrointestinal symptoms.

The patient is a health care worker who returned to the U.S. within the past 21 days from one of the three countries currently facing the outbreak of this virus.

The patient was transported by a specially trained HAZ TAC unit wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  After consulting with the hospital and the CDC, DOHMH has decided to conduct a test for the Ebola virus because of this patient’s recent travel history, pattern of symptoms, and past work. DOHMH and HHC are also evaluating the patient for other causes of illness, as these symptoms can also be consistent with salmonella, malaria, or the stomach flu.

Preliminary test results are expected in the next 12 hours.

Bellevue Hospital is designated for the isolation, identification and treatment of potential Ebola patients by the City and State.  New York City is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of all New Yorkers.

As a further precaution, beginning today, the Health Department’s team of disease detectives immediately began to actively trace all of the patient’s contacts to identify anyone who may be at potential risk. The Health Department staff has established protocols to identify, notify, and, if necessary, quarantine any contacts of Ebola cases.

The Health Department is also working closely with HHC leadership, Bellevue’s clinical team and the New York State Department of Health to ensure that all staff caring for the patient do so while following the utmost safety guidelines and protocols.

Bellevue and the New York State Department of Health to ensure that all staff caring for the patient do so while following the utmost safety guidelines and protocols.

The chances of the average New Yorker contracting Ebola are extremely slim. Ebola is spread by directly touching the bodily fluids of an infected person. You cannot be infected simply by being near someone who has Ebola.

As NY Post reports,

A doctor who returned to New York City from Africa 10 days ago was rushed in an ambulance with a police escort from his Harlem home to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday, sources said.

He was suffering from Ebola-like symptoms — a 103-degree fever and nausea, sources said.

While he was in Africa, the doctor had been treating Ebola patients in Guinea, sources said.

He’s undergoing testing at Bellevue to see if he has the deadly virus, sources said.

NBC reports that...

He was transported from a building on 147th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue to Bellevue, law enforcement source said.

George Soros, The Man Who Kissed Off Norilsk Nickel, Novolipetsk Steel, Svyazinvest, And The Bank Of England, Announces Aid To Yet Another Economy Desperate To Be Loved

http://www.businessinsider.com/flash-george-soros-the-man-who-kissed-off...

CONAKRY – Guinea’s President Alpha Conde on Tuesday enlisted the help of billionaire investor George Soros to review the resource-rich West African nation’s mining code and fight corruption in the sector.

Conde told a press conference after meeting with Soros that the new mining code will punish companies caught bribing officials and would retroactively punish current license holders if it was established that they were involved in any bribery.

Newly elected Conde had said in January that he planned to revise the country’s mining code to give the state a 33% stake in mining projects, from 15% now.

“There will be a clause in the new code which would prohibit any company from giving bribes. Any company caught giving bribes would lose its license or be penalized, Conde said.

“This also means that for companies that have already signed, we will check if they signed against bribes. If this was the case, then we would either cancel the contract or inflict a penalty,” Conde told journalists.

Conde added that all current mining contracts would be renegotiated under the new code and future mining licenses would also be granted under the code.

He said the country was turning to Soros because Guinea could not afford to pay international consultants.

Soros for his part, said he had agreed to lend his support to Guinea, the world’s biggest supplier of the aluminum ore bauxite, following the holding of democratic elections and the transition to civilian rule last year.

Doctor: Health Authorities Covering Up Ebola Cases in U.S.

...Urging people to “stay away from places where there’s large groups of people,” as well as hospitals, Lawrenzi said the situation was “much more serious than they’re letting on.”

“When flu season hits, people are going to be coming into the hospital for flu or Ebola, they’re not going to know what they have….it’s going to be a nightmare, every doctor I’ve spoken with is terrified of this fall,” said Lawrenzi...

I keep a prepper farmlet in the US (mostly for grazing geezers and giving other relatives a place to bug out to), a small tobacco farm in Brazil (in case I ever have to bug out), and I'm trying to launch a much larger commercial scale farm in Ebolaland. I don't mind farming and wouldn't have any problem focusing on it full time if TSHTF since the predictable 60-70 hour weeks are far preferable to the schizo 15/90 hour weeks that I seem to oscillate between now.

Seriously: the NYC Subway System is generally where a certain number of wretched and diseased, mentally challenged, drug addicted and homeless ALL congregate.  In winter there are dozens lurking/sleeping in Port Authority specifically.

These people are often disgusting, confrontational if disturbed; and The City has long neglected to enforce restrictions on their occupation of the bus and subway terminals and the subway cars...

NYC will have very serious and very immediate -and compunding- problems IF the populace even begins to suspect that the public transit system is contaminated.  Transmission via contaminated subways and buses and light rail will project the disease for hundreds of miles in ever direction in a very very short time.

I was involved in the CDC hearings on the West Nile Virus outbreak.  There are a few studies floating around from that period that considered public transit and infection disease transmission.

Ebola transmission in NYC via public transit will be catastropic.

The NYC metro region is utterly unprepared for any such event.

Half a dozen cases WILL result in behavior changes in the population.  Disruption is too mild a word...

Unless everyone everywhere has been tested for Ebola, there is no guarantee that Ebola has been eradicated.

I said this after Nigeria and Senegal both claimed that they were Ebola free.

Unless each and every person in both countries have been tested then there is no guarantee that both countries are Ebola free.

By all accounts, the Ebola epidemic will be ongoing and getting worse  in Africa for months, maybe years. Doesn't that mean "potential Ebola carriers" traveling  hither, thither and yon for months/years? This Ebola shit is no where near being over.

What do you think the probability is?

The first should be a complete lock down of those fucking countrys with the epidemic!  Don't let those assholes out of those countries in the first place... sheesh.  If containment is the key and we're perfectly fine with locking people in their homes here for 21 days let's lock that whole place down!!!

Okay, so, a loved one has died of Ebola and you are left with a highly infective corpse. What do you do?

Once death [from Ebola] occurs degradation starts almost immediately.

The muscles that control the bowel and the bladder will have lost their tonicity, they will be relaxed and moving the body will cause both to evacuate. Gases build up in the gut and intestines and are not passed out of the body as they were in life and this gives the corpse a swollen and bloated appearance.

These gases cause the putrification of the internal organs, turning them first to jelly and then to liquid which will escape from the body via the orifices. This foul smelling liquid will exit via the bowels, bladder, mouth, ears, nose and even the eyes.

Here's the first para of the New York Times' coverage:

A health care worker in New York City who recently returned from West Africa was rushed to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday and placed in isolation while doctors await the return of tests to determine whether he has the Ebola virus.  http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/24/nyregion/possible-ebola-virus-case-in-new-york-city.html?hpw&rref=nyregion&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&version=HpHedThumbWell&module=well-region&region=bottom-well&WT.nav=bottom-well&assetType=nyt_now&_r=0

No mention anywhere in the article that this health care worker has a name (Dr. Craig Spenser) and that he is a doctor who was treating ebola patients in Guinea with Doctors Without Borders until he flew back to NYC 10 days ago.

Wouldn't want the unwashed masses panicking.  OTOH, the unwashed masses generally read the NYPost, which reported these pesky details.

Leverage exceeds 2008, debt is at new all time highs. Liquidity is in doubt. The Fed will try once again to Print it's way out and drive mortage interest rates down to these new lows appoaching >3% for a 15 year fixed refinance. More debt is seen as the economic accelerator to reach escape velocity. Self sustaining recovery for the USA!  Or it could all crash. More debt = economic growth  Savings are seen as an evil from the "old economy", the new economy is based on Printing, wars and Ebola.

Jack, I think the consumer is pretty much tapped out on credit.  That's why the Fed needs to print money.  If they don't, then the ponzi ends when money dries up by people paying off their debt and all of a sudden money creation thru loans stops.  Mathematics rule here.  I suggest watching Mike Mahloney's series titled "Hidden Secrets of money" for a layman's description of the math involved here.  It is a really informative series.  I was a math major, so I understood all of what he was talking about before he even said it, but it is a great series of short youtube vids for the layman.  He explains it rather simply so everyone can understand.

Ebola health care workers should do a manditory wait time before returning to another nation, anywhere. The first rule of defeating past outbreaks was isolation. In today's outbreak every rule of past success is being broken. Why? Why are health care workers and immigrants from ebola infected areas ALL allowed free passage via airline to any nation of choice.

In past ebola outbreaks, success was directly tied to isolation of infected area, plus health care aid to the infecte site, and health care workers doing manditory wait times before entering the general polulation. As I said, "every rule of proper care is being broken". WHY? Nobody answers that, except the CDC and Obama come on TV and say "the best way to handle Ebola is with open borders into and out of proven ebola infected areas". How do I know? I saw the President, the Ebola Czar and the head of CDC declare on TV that "Open Borders" was the first and most important requirement for stopping Ebola and help the Ebola economies of Africa.

We no longer live in "The Age of Reason" or "The enlightenment", these two ideas that formed the modern western world and set us apart from all others, has now been replaced with greed, stupidity, lust for power and rent seeking. I ask you, where does Ebola come into the economic equation in Europe and America as a " Profit Center"? Where is the money going to be made here by those involved in Ebola? If I had time and the skills, which I do not, I would seek to research all health care, drug and security related stocks and watch for unusual buying and stock rises. This will point the way to who benefits by "Open Borders" to Ebola country. These are the ones Obama and the CDC are taking their marching orders from. Someone in the elite 1% want's Ebola loose inside the USA and United Kingdom especially.

Hey Jack, first of all I really loved you in big Trouble in Little China.  Fabulous cross-character of John Wayne and Pee Wee Herman.  As to "Why"?  Need I send a link to some Rockefeller quotes, or possibly a text version of the Georgia Guide Stones?  TPTB have it in for us, at least 9 out of every 10 people are useless eaters to them, using up valuable resources that they need to control at a much higher price for the survivors, like air, water, food stuffs, cotton, leather, steel, oil, nat gas...the list never ends.  They really don't care which 9 out of 10 dies, as long as they aren't included in the statistics.  If Ebola-bama is airborn, we should steal their hepa-filters.  Let them take their chances like the rest of us they are unleashing this horror upon.  Anyway, should SHTF in reality, I got dibs on Soros and Dimon.  If I don't make it, it's then in your hands.

Grekko here, long pitchforks, torches and ropes (hemp because of the strength).

Do NOT follow this link or you will be banned from the site!
