Shots Fired At High School North Of Seattle; 6 Reportedly Injured, Possible 2 Fatal
There is a large police presence at Marysville-Pilchuk High School (Marysville, WA). School officials said there is an emergency situation at the school and the building is locked down. Three students and a teacher reported hearing gunshots. Airlift Northwest confirms that they are transporting two patients, but didn't give more information.
"Our son just called to let us know that his kids are ok - his son was about 50 feet from the shooter - a student that he knows. Our grandson and his friends ran away - jumped a fence and went to a home in the area. He didn't know about any victims but thought there was at least one," said Tom Hopper, who emailed KIRO 7.

Casey Blakley and his daughter were driving by the school when they say the huge police response.
“About every 30 seconds school I had to pull over because there were so many cops and paramedics going by,” he said. “The road was blocked off from about two blocks away
“There were a bunch of kids on the next block that apparently fled the school. They were all huddled together talking to cars that drove by.”

It is rather odd how these school shootings seem to occur whenever a lot of people are upset about this administration's bungling of something (this time Ebola). Gotta focus the outrage on something else.

There've been political advertisements all over TV in Washington to try and pass more stringent gun laws on the premise that domestic violence is occurring because people can purchase firearms at a gun show without a background check. It is absolutely a fact that you cannot buy a gun at a gun show without a background check. Now that this has happened there will probably be an increased fervor around restricting access to guns. The timing does seem fishy. Dead men tell no tales.
The way to stop school shootings is to ban schools.

When I went to HS... Pick up trucks had shotguns and rifles sitting in racks in the back window. Not a single shooting.... WTF is the deal now?
It all started with the banning of dodge ball. Then, no "Smear the queer" game. Then very little recess. Then, teachers stopped marking papers in red, because it was too traumatic for the children. Then everybody got a participation trophy in any competition they entered, so no kid has hurt feelings. Then they gave almost all the children drugs to calm them down, because they were restless and not paying attention. They were restless because they didn't get enough exercise. Let the little kids play tag and dodge ball again. Stop drugging and babying the kids. They are turning them into mindless, wussies who go nuts when they eventually have a little stress in their lives.

I don't even think kids play marbles anymore. That used to be a big deal. I have been teaching marbles to the daughter but it is hard because there is a three year old son around who plays by his own rules in that he simply takes all of the marbles and thinks he's won. Update: Our daughter has not heard of smeer the queer but she knows now. The Russian woman said that they used to play a game called "sifa" where they would chase each other around and throw the chalkboard erasers at the weakest kid. I guess that is how they cleaned the chalkboard erasers.
You bring back some memories. I had to do a class presentation for class so I decided that I would demonstrate how to reload a shotshell. I brought my MEC reloader and set it up and actually reloaded a couple of shotshells IN THE SCHOOL. Everyone thought it was interesting including the teacher who gave me an A grade for it. You would never be able to do that today.
For all of the guns we had in our trucks and cars no one ever thought about shooting the place up. If you had a problem with another kid, you would go out behind the old white shed off school grounds and settle the issue with your fists. Other students would follow to observe and they would make a big ring. That was our fight club. I was involved in one or two.... or three of those.;-) The rule was that the fight had to be fair meaning that you had to fight with your fists. No guns, knives, pipes etc. That was how we worked out our differences.

You are correct I am an oppressed white man living in Amerka today. I didn't grow up in the ghetto but rather in the sticks. I lived in the ghetto for five years though. I saw shit go on there that you may or may not believe. Most of those kids don't go to skool for very long anyway. I managed to make some black friends there though and no one really fucked with me much if I didn't fuck with them.

I am so so incredibly sorry to hear this. Is it ever going to stop? It is just so bad. I wonder: what did we do wrong to allow such terrible things to happen?
