The World Series Of Real Estate

Tyler Durden's picture

With The Royals and The Giants flip-flopping scores like an HFT-trader on FOMC day, we thought a glance at the two teams' local real estate markets might give some context for who comes out the weekend the winner... As RealtyTrac notes, the San Francisco Giants may have one of the most Equity Rich real estate regions, but the Kansas City Royals hit a home run with home prices.

Giants 2014?!?!

Baseball is something I cannot let go of.  I played most of my youth and love the Giants.

Not exactly real estate but interesting.

http://blogs.woodtv.com/2014/10/24/great-lakes-water-levels-71/

If you add up all the Great Lakes – the sum total comes to a one-year increase of 23.99 trillion gallons of water! That’s enough water to give every person in drought-stricken California approximately 600,000 gallons of water! The phenomenal increase in the water levels of the lakes is due to above average precipitation, below average evaporation and a longer period with ice-cover last winter.

Listen Zero's.

I bought a foreclosure here in Bangalore. It cost $3,487,970rup ($1 USD = 61.3 Rup) so $56900 USD for the lazy "FOLKS".

And I lost my shirt.

Sold it. Back to trading equities.

I know Bangalore is a nice town. why did you lose money? Did you expect no problems? Are you able to do any of the needed work yourself? THAT'S what cost $$$$.

A 3 bedroom apartment in SF for $1,890? Only in a neighborhood where your monthly budget includes the cost of ammunition.

LOL.  Heard about the EAS (Emergency Alert System) belly-flop on talk radio tonight, driving home.

So this thing gets used for the first time in decades (>50 yrs?), and it didn't work?  Actually, I heard that after the  Alert goes off on all Radio, TV and Sat channels, it's supposed to switch to some channel and the POTUS is supposed to come on.  He didn't.  After 10 minutes it was over.  He must've been "busy" (on the crapper or doing Reggie?), I guess.  Unfucking believable, but true.

Give me strength.  Serenity Now.  SERENITY NOW!!!

Things are not all that great in my area regardless of the message from Yellen and the media. In fact it has gotten so bad that I did not sleep well last night. I was haunted by fear and I found all the reassurances by Janet Yellen and the Federal Reserve are not helping.

Like the young boy in the movie years ago the spirits of those who once filled the world with life will not let me rest, in this case I'm haunted by dead businesses and not people. The article below concerns the cost and problems of building after empty building sitting vacant because of business failures. I have my finger on the pulse of small business and it is far from healthy.
