There's still plenty of gold out there for those who want to buy. Regular people don't need to buy massive quantities, like those big players. They can scoop up most of the larger stashes, but a significant amount is too scattered amongst the population to effectively gather. (And PLEASE don't be stupid and turn it in if the government tries that again...but plenty will, I've no doubt...) And we regular people don't NEED vaults full to function...a small stash to help get by, that's all.
So even if the big guys do manage to corner the larger supplies, there will still be plenty for small folks to buy. Until the price starts to rise, and people start holding onto their metals.
