Once again nice work! Came across this tidbit regarding tax inversions. You know, the kind Buffet cashed in on recently. I bet he doesn't even need to vote...

Maine’s largest landowner, billionaire media magnate avoids millions in taxes with inversion deal

http://bangordailynews.com/2014/11/03/business/maines-largest-landowner-...

Shifting the address of his Liberty Global Inc. from Colorado to London last year didn’t just put billionaire John C. Malone in a position to reduce his company’s tax bill.

He also took precautions to avoid the capital-gains hit that the so-called inversion would trigger for him and other investors. The day before the deal was announced, Malone — the company’s chairman and controlling shareholder — transferred $600 million of his shares into a tax-exempt charitable trust. He avoided paying taxes on his remaining stake, worth about $260 million, by exploiting IRS regulations meant to block a different loophole.

All told, Malone escaped about $200 million in personal taxes, and Liberty Global’s U.S. shareholders together likely saved more than a billion dollars, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

“He’s congenitally averse to paying taxes,” said Robert Willens, an independent tax accounting analyst in New York City.

As the Obama administration attempts to implement anti-inversion rules announced in September, Liberty’s strategies illustrate how billionaires and their companies find their way around tax regulations, and take advantage of unintended consequences.

Malone — whose net worth is $7.5 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index — has a history of creative tax-avoidance tactics. Over the years, many of the 73-year-old media billionaire’s biggest deals, such as buying the Atlanta Braves, have helped his companies to cut their tax bills.

Malone has at least four other charitable trusts, with more than $210 million in assets, IRS records show. Such trusts permit wealthy individuals to use the tax-exempt status of a charity to shelter income. In the past two years, he has also taken advantage of an Irish tax break to buy prime real estate in central Dublin.

Marcus Smith, a Liberty Global spokesman, declined to comment. He directed a request to interview Malone to Courtnee Ulrich, a spokeswoman at another of Malone’s companies, Liberty Media Corp. She declined to answer questions and said Malone would not comment...

I vote we END THE FEDERAL RESERVE
and that WE THE PEOPLE print debt-free currency

Inventor Thomas Edison put it this way: “If our nation can issue a dollar bond, it can issue a dollar bill. The element that makes the bond good makes the bill good.

” … It is absurd to say that our country can issue $30,000,000,000 in bonds and not $30,000,000,000 in currency. Both are promises to pay; but one promise fattens the jew, and the other helps the people.”

That´s a fantastic string of hits you just racked up , WB!

Really captures the zeitgeist. Together with the nauseous feeling I already had when contemplating those mid-term "free and democratic elections" and the ensuing clusterfuck.

On towards 2018. Shanksville revisited or go straight to war...? Not a real war against an capable foe of course but the usual genocide in a smaller nation without.

In most other walks of life you'd be out on your fucking ass if you didn't perform. A lone exception is public service and in particular PolitiSHAMS.
From day one these opportunists are nobbled ( bought ). Tow the party line ; we'll get you on a committee and introduce you to a few lobbyists who'll guarantee you funding for the next term.
Real cozy. Cooperate and you never know that great revolving door to WallyStreet beckons or a seat on a Blue Chip.

You have to be a certain type of person having failed miserably to represent your constituents to stand for selection for a second term.

Whereas, we have a gaggle of information givers, snotty nosed liars, and TV-tricksters that are far moar practiced at deceiving and propagating fear using lies and mis/dis-information, than they are at telling the simple truth. Meanwhile, the world falls.

VOTE OUT ALL INCUMBENTS!

Do not be stupid and ask for the same old carp we have seen for all these last decades by voting for any of the darn incumbents again. No moar puppet cronyism. No moar open borders. No moar lack-toast attitude towards the obola. NO MOAR WAR for the bankster/MIC profiteers. Bring all our troops home NOW! Stop supporting murderous nazi juntas. Stop supporting the murder of the Palestinian people.

NO MOAR NO MOAR NO MOAR. VOTE OUT ALL INCUMBENTS TOMORROW!

Just for fun.:

How many times have I read on ZH the quote that all it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing? Not voting equates to doing nothing. So what else are you willing to do to fix thihngs?

Trying to ignore the system may sound great, but eventually the system will not ignore you.

I'd like to reply to your comment in a fashion that you may understand.

HOW MANY TIMES have you voted, only to see that it has made NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL?

It will continue to be this same way, and has been since the FED took control in 1913 (when CONGRESS abdicated their responsibilities under the Constitution to coin the money and set the values thereof; and States abdicated THEIR responsibility to take nothing but Gold and Silver Coin, a tender in payment of debt).

When GOOD MEN DO nothing, evil DOES succeed. VOTING is like... well, it's like doing NOTHING (with the appearance of doing 'something'). Checking a box on a piece of paper, or pulling a lever in a Las-Vegas-style DEIBOLD machine isn't exactly 'taking action'; do you understand?

You truly believe the LIE of the FALSITY OF CHOICE when you speak of 'voting'.

Eventually, you will come to realize this TRUTH (hopefully, before it collapses).

The 'results' are ALWAYS 51% to 49%!

EARLY RESULTS are ALWAYS REPORTED FIRST in fucking IOWA.

FUCKING IOWA! Des Moines is a modern metropolis, you know. WATCH IOWA, because as IOWA goes, so goes the NATION. (Who the fuck thought that IOWA was important, anyway? The RNC and the DNC, perhaps? WHO THE FUCK are the people who control these parties? Are they ELECTED, or do they appoint THEMSELVES [or does some group who shall as yet remain nameless APPOINT them to pick the candidates that they 'choose' to support? I mean, MITT fucking ROMNEY was the 'candidate' of the RNC in '12? Ron PAUL had OVERWHELMING grassroots support, but the RNC and the MSM shut the peoples' will DOWN! Same thing happened in '08 {but they picked Songbird McCain the Insane to promote.}])

No 'hanging chads' THIS TIME, though, I suppose. The MIC and Yellen/Soros parties will be triumphant, once again. Reid will get his payoff, and Pelosi will get another sweetheart deal for her hubby, and the rest of the WORLD will finally get sick of this shit...
