Election 2014 – "Why I Opt Out of Voting"
Submitted by The Dissident Dad via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,
Note from Mike Krieger,
Before I get to the Dissident Dad’s latest post, I want to provide my own perspective with regard to this very important debate. While I agree that voting is generally meaningless in our current system, this is because the two choices we are given are 99% of the time captured cronies of the two corrupt political parties.
So this begs the question, can we ever get real choices on the ballot? I believe we can, but we need a much larger percentage of the population aware and engaged. While I completely respect the decision to not vote for either false choice (for example, in Colorado both choices for Governor are horrific), I hope people who make this choice don’t altogether give up on grassroots activism and civil disobedience, but rather direct their energy elsewhere.
The Ritual of Voting
by the Dissident Dad

This year, my wife and I will – for the second time in our adult lives – not vote. Previously, I would have seen this stance as many people do: as an irresponsible act. The ritual of voting is very much like taking communion in church for half of this country.
As a father, I want to raise responsible adults, which is why my wife and I will not be heading to the polls this election.
I want to always help my children understand that they are sovereign men and women, and have no obligation to any government.
When it comes to voting, my wife and I are personally opting out of the system. There are a lot of reasons for us not to vote, but at the core it comes down to not wanting to enforce our will on others. I’m fine with making our voices heard, but when the vote has a direct impact on how much money is stolen from another family, I want nothing to do with it.
Both Democrats and Republicans support militarism, taxation, spying on us, inflation, redistribution of wealth, Keynesian economics and corporatism once they get in office.
My children need not to identify with this group of sociopaths, so to vote would be a bad example for them. Plus, as my friend Doug Casey has noted, voting just encourages them – the politicians, that is. Whether you’re voting for or against someone, winning an election gives the politician a sense of a mandate that they are obligated to create new rules, taxes and redistribution of wealth schemes to satisfy their voting bloc. That somehow they are in the right, because no matter how sick their political philosophy is, the majority has demanded they implement it into the minority’s lives.
The current options for voting within the system has conditioned Americans into becoming busybodies. We’re always given the choice of taking away the rights of others, stealing their property through taxation, and creating new laws for minority groups. Or worse, outright murdering people overseas because they consider our tens of thousands of troops, drones and ships off their coastlines a threat to their own national sovereignty.
I believe that intentionally not voting will serve as a positive reinforcement for my kids that you don’t have to comply with society’s expectations and you never have to take part in the lesser of two evils. The lesser of two evils is still evil.
The oligarchs laugh at all us plebs on Election Day because they know that no matter what we do, they’re going get what they want. If you voted for Bush, you got Ben Bernanke as the master of your dollar’s value and chief of banker bailouts. If you voted for Obama, who was supposed to be the anti-Bush, guess what; you still got Ben Bernanke as master of your dollar’s value and chief of banker bailouts.
Raising responsible adults in a world that is completely upside down continues to be my most difficult task as a father. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, your own personal choice between mainstream and independent thought is the easy part. What becomes far less manageable are your very own loved ones: family, friends, and neighbors who are fully part of the system and who blindly endorse its atrocities against mankind and defend the oligarchs every step of the way.
This is why not voting for my family has to be more than just a political protest, but something I will have to defend and take the time to explain at family gatherings.
For my children, I want them to know that the system is not their friend. It doesn’t mean that people who live within the system are our enemy; it just means that as sovereign people, we have no obligation to it, and it’s not us who should be embarrassed for not embracing it. Instead, it’s the thieves and busybodies who partake in the theft of someone else’s wealth — and even their lives — every time they prop up one these central planners.
Oh, and while we’re on the topic of sham elections and corrupt, insane politicians. Make sure you watch the following:

Voting is for Fools
I REFUSE to vote for my new slave master, as a Free Man I do not need you.
You legitimize their fraud with your vote.
Vote for Putin for President
Disdad is a retard
...no obligation to any government...
The government can seize you property for any reason (or no reason for that matter), tax you into poverty, draft you into the armed forces and send you half way around the world, kill you at will, harass you to death, and imprison you for not mowing you lawn.
Its a little childish to believe that you are escaping the system by not voting. Imagine the terror of the government when they find that some people are NOT VOTING.
Grow up. The lesser of two evils is Republican.
You describe acting under duress. Dot gov extorts, kidnaps and kills it's own subjects, as you say - for any reason, or no reason at all. So those under it's thumb are acting under duress, whether they act agreeably or not.
Not voting is non-participation in a corrupt, murderous system - it is not escape - it is withdrawing consent.
Vote for a 3rd party where there is an option and for NONE when there are only R's and D's listed. Its essentially a vote against the major parties and if more people did it would start to block them.
A candidate needs 50% to win, if a large enough pool of people vote for NONE neither the R or D will be able to win.
Then maybe they might have to start saying why someone should vote FOR themselves instead of why to be AGAINST the other guy.
A coherent, well articulated political philosophy is a well-constructed excuse. It’s a cover story. It's an alibi. It’s a rationalisation for the exercise of power. So what happens after we cast our vote, and see behind the curtain . . ?
Well it's simple. Because reality trumps motives, motive must be made so important that it trumps reality.
Why else would we support proven liars of both stripe again and again? We’re not supporting them, or their actions, or their bullshit. After the inevitable betrayals, there’s nothing to believe in but motives.
Wedded to ideas more than the reality, and unwilling to admit our political opponents may be right, we’re seduced into defending the motives of people we wouldn’t trust to wash our car.
How does this happen? Whatever your political affiliation, you support a set of motives that you can buy into (regardless of you detail of understanding - often the flavour is enough).
And politicians love this. They who can best cloak themselves with these doctrines will then ask us, the voters, to judge not their actions but to own their doctrine – knowing full well that any judgement of their actions would see them fired in a week.
Naturally we common folk are not afforded this luxury.
I choose not to compromise. There is no peoples representative.
Fuck the LR RD retard game. And fuck them for choosing this bullshit for us.
Even though voting is a sham..they think they created it...so fuck them the same.
RIPS
Sorry, but if the choice is between imprisoned or slowly tortured to death over the next two years, there IS a difference, and while both options suck, one is clearly better. BONE FUCKING STUPID
Gun Owners of America Voter Guide
http://goapvf.org/2014
I vote we END THE FEDERAL RESERVE
and that WE THE PEOPLE print debt-free currency
Inventor Thomas Edison put it this way: “If our nation can issue a dollar bond, it can issue a dollar bill. The element that makes the bond good makes the bill good.
” … It is absurd to say that our country can issue $30,000,000,000 in bonds and not $30,000,000,000 in currency. Both are promises to pay; but one promise fattens the jew, and the other helps the people.”
Remember Weimar
a better anaolgy would first choice is being poisoned second choice tortured to death.
there IS a difference, but only on the surface.
if they control your options, they control the outcome.
The best possible outcome at this point is to bring the experiment to it's sad, inevitable end as soon as possible . Then let the people who WANT freedom, FIGHT for it. ANy other "option" is meant to protect the status quo and the soft lives of people who are too afraid to lose what they have.
Treat government like religion, with adherents of each political belief system having their own government. Isn't that the only civilized thing to do - get rid of the concept of might makes right from the animal world and move closer to being human?
People act like not voting makes them exempt from their government. Not voting is voting for the status quo. The same people who never vote because they don't like anyone who runs are the same people who don't lift a finger during the primary or up to the general election then complain about who's running. Oh, and anybody who thinks every single candidate is exactly the same is an intellectually lazy human being.
The Don't Vote psyop is played before every election now. Meanwhile Obama is helping illegals get here so they can vote fraudently and against the 2nd Amendment. Apparently voting does count. If you only have electronic voting, write it in.
The more I see it, the more I believe you're right, about the Don't Vote psyop. Yeah some of the choices suck but someone else is going to vote and that some other one standing on their principles alone to not vote is going to have their principles shoved straight up their ass by the ones who do vote.
But to your point and as this author finally reveals:
"There are a lot of reasons for us not to vote, but at the core it comes down to not wanting to enforce our will on others. I’m fine with making our voices heard, but when the vote has a direct impact on how much money is stolen from another family, I want nothing to do with it."
Am I to assume "Dissident Dad" and his wife are now having pangs of guilt for how they have voted in the past? I for one have never voted for someone who openly admitted they want higher taxation and larger government bureaucracies in our lives.
Never. Ever.
I am the direct opposite of this fucking clown. I do in fact want to enforce my will on others WHEN they want higher taxation, larger government, still more laws and desire to create legions of busy-body pencil pushers combing through my personal life.
The only difference is I'm honest enough to admit it and proudly so.
My will is to be left the fuck alone by psychopathic tyrants and I will enforce that will every chance I get.
Voting: an incorrigible dupe endorsing an irresistible con.
Spot on Nmewn.
If many places in the USA many big government items are beat by a hundred or so votes. I always vote to try and keep those that want more and more of what I earned in the way of more taxes or some stupid bond issue locally from having their way.
Contrary to what is popular here local voting does count.
"I for one have never voted for someone who openly admitted they want higher taxation and larger government bureaucracies in our lives."
And how many hundreds of times have you been played for a fool? Intelligent people learn from their mistakes but not control freaks who think their world view is the correct one. They are true believers.
Under Democrats or Republicans, government has grown like Topsy and its stealing, enslaving, destroying, and killing has grown similarly.
If you can rationalize that one of the partners in this horror show is better than the other and can accept that, then you are nowheres close to being human.
Go live in a jungle where you belong.
"Yeah some of the choices suck but someone else is going to vote and that some other one standing on their principles alone to not vote is going to have their principles shoved straight up their ass by the ones who do vote."
Which part of "I DON'T CARE" don't you get???
Withdrawing consent is the absolute best we can hope for at this point, short of resorting to violence. If voting could possibly change anything for the better, it would be illegal. You'd think this would be blindingly obvious by now, especially to people who are "awake" enough to be on ZH.
People continue to vote, every two to four years, and the system marches on. Nothing changes. Why? Because it's designed that way. I pity those who still think their vote matters.
The answer is to drop out as much as you possibly can and to get others to join you. The system cannot sustain itself. It needs a certain number of people to believe in it in order to have an air of legitimacy in the eyes of the public. When enough people fail to acknowledge its authority, the system will buckle under its own weight.
A) Withdraw consent; B) engage in civil disobedience; C) engage in targeted acts of violence. This is the natural progression when a society moves from oppression to revolution.
Resort to violence...
If the ballot goes then all that is left is the bullet. Some people are worth a vote. When in doubt vote against an incumbent. Vote against all sitting judges. Never just vote a party line. Vote the NRA check list.
Yup, the only way out is Crimea or Donbass, take your pick.
"The government can seize you property for any reason (or no reason for that matter), tax you into poverty, draft you into the armed forces and send you half way around the world, kill you at will, harass you to death, and imprison you for not mowing you lawn."
So what? Armed criminals can do lots of bad things--that doesn't mean you then go out and VOTE FOR THEM, you fucking idiot.
I voted you up 0b1nob
Did anybody watch that video? Over 1000 "people" will be elected unapposed and they will make up 25% of those elected. That REFUTES the rant that they need your votes to feel that they have a mandate. Vote or not and they will not care and they will still fuck with your life in a thousand ways.
I'm sure that when the elections in Germany happened there were people who didn't like either candidate so they didn't vote. By not voting for the lesser of two evils they let the worse of two evils win (Hitler). How did that turn out?
The lesser of two evils is still evil. The belief that prayers offered in the Demockratik confessional (READ voting booth) will, in any way change the behavior of a group of people with all the guns, and the monopoly right to initiate force, is simply an act of faith.
Voting is THE INITIATION of force.
Israel has the most at stake in tomorrow's vote. They 'own' all the top Republicans and want to see them in charge in both houses of congress, supposedly giving them even more influence into the workings of the U.S. government and it's foreign policy. And also it's cash. They have $3.1 billion in U.S. taxpayer handouts to Israel at stake every year and they want a hell of a lot more in the future. They can't afford a U.S. congress that questions the sanity of free cash handouts to Israel.
The Pro-Israel Lobby And The Growth Of The Ultra-Conservative Movement
Yes, it's Mint Press. Did you expect the NYT, WaPo or (urk..) CNN or ABC to call out Israel's intrusive lobbying?
This is not the same as the 'Jewish vote' or Jewish congressmen (primarily democrats). To their credit, some are growing increasingly skeptical of a paranoid, psychopathic Nettanyahu and the Likud Zio-Nazis, neither of which have ever had much to do with Judiasm.
Netanyahu rooting for Republicans in U.S. midterm elections
AIPAC actually seems pretty stingy with Jewish Democrats, directing it's money to more powerful members of congress. Hey, that's anti-Semitic!
The lobby costs more than the return! 3 billion / 600 = 5 million
I bet they have to pay off more than just senators and house members!
Congressmen certainly dont give any cash to anyone without their cut!
Israel doesn't see one cent of cash! All that roles back to politicians!
They are hoping for fav trading to keep their economy rolling and bullets for killing
You legitimize their fraud with your vote.
9/11. Is there one, just one national politician who will challenge the 9/11 official narrative?
If you find ONE, then I'll vote, and not before.
Jesse Ventura?
If you try and vote for an alternate party, it is not really possible.
In most positions they only have one or two choices, both driven by their parties.
If they do have them, they are societal misfits, in a bad way to boot..... Either socialists or some misfit that believes the animals will take over the world.
So even if you wanted to vote for the underdog, you cannot really do so. It might be better to write in Donald Duck....
Then vote for NONE, it is not a throw away vote but a vote against both.
If you are saying "Write in the word NONE" ...this will not be counted. Vote that way and then check your local poll results.
Been there, done that.
Absolutely. I cannot understand why people have the misguided belief it is the opposite, an acceptance of the status quo. You'd have better luck on the winning end of a shell game than voting today.
Miffed
Not if you vote for the third party candidate or write in a candidate.
Voting for someone other than the Republican or Democrat lets them know you are paying attention.
Not voting shows your lack of interest in participating in the system which they prefer. Plus, you need to vote in order to be able to serve on a jury.
Cute, but I think some here would need the sarc tag.
Miffed
"Voting for someone other than the Republican or Democrat lets them know you are paying attention."
What don't you get? I don't care what "they" know or think about anything. As far as I'm concerned, they're all criminal fucking vermin who should be GASSED.
Not voting doesn't keep you out of jury pools anymore. I've served on two in the last decade, despite not having voted (and moved several times) in over 20 years.
Politicians are not elected by votes
Politicians are purchased by Fed counterfeit
Wasn't it JFK who said presidents are selected not elected? If I am incorrect someone will correct me I am sure.
Imo, you have to be born into it.
.
Or do you think just anyone walking the streets of Chicago can grow up and become President?
I have a long dead Uncle who refused to vote 35 years ago. He said it was a protest to not vote. So he didn't vote and NOBODY noticed. Moral is...We have 3 ways out of this mess. 1. Revolution with guns. Ain't going to happen. 2. The Liberty amendment option as Mark Levin calls it. Ain't going to happen - YET. 3. Vote for the better candidate WHO HAS A CHANCE TO WIN! That rules out all candidates but the Republican in most cases. Hold your nose and vote Republican. Thanks.
You are a slave, not a free man. Don't kid yourself.
qui tacet consentire videtur
"he who is silent is taken to agree". I fully agree with UR, it's the principle of the Silence procedure
the USA has seen many "Party Systems". the non-vote cements the status quo. personally, I think we might see soon a change, from the current Sixth_Party_System to a new Seventh Party System
but only if there is enough voters that do the "unimaginable" and repeat the feat of their ancestors, who switched five times the political landscape
less "unimaginable" then changing the voting system, then again, Americans did it five times in their political history
I see people taking an idea that has been discredited and proven ineffectual through thousands of years of history, and dust it off and try to pass it off as hip/cool or some valid mechanism of registering a protest (all while paying their US taxes, buying their Obamacare insurance, and collecting their Social Security/SNAP/99 weeks). If I didn't know better I would think they are paid trolls for one side (and probably the one whose figurehead has a history of voting "present"...) I fear the truth might be closure to the sad state that exists in the fat part of the bell curve.
But I'm not necessarily any better - I just had the luxury of relocating and restructuring my finances (and forgoing a fuck ton of financial benefit), while casting federal ballots for Incitatus (or a deserving 3rd Party candidate, since I have to mind the gaps and the ballot spoilage rules), and focusing more on local matters that are important and do make a difference.
In regards to the various epochs of American political history, I think they might be overrated outside of academic examination. From my biased perspective there are only three periods 1) the Confederacy under the Articles of Confederation and perpetual Union 2) the Federal State prior to the War Between the States and 3) the current Clusterfuck. The initial schism between Liberty and Tyranny that manifested itself in the Anti-Federalists and Federalists has never been fully resolved, and just seems to take slightly different guises with different cycles of history (urban/rural, free/slave, eastern/western, industry/finance).
There are only three options for coexistence within a social-political order 1) Accept it 2) Change it or 3) Overthrow it.
UR, if we divide your comment in the four paragraphs, I fear the first one overwhelms me, most of it literally zips over my head for probably references to an American condition of which I'm just a very distant observer
on the second, I can only defend the very honorable ancient Roman Senator Incitatus. At least, he won races and was a darling of the public ;-)
voting for Incitatus IS the scariest vote you can cast for any political status quo, scarier then going to vote and writing "none of them"
on the third, I bow to your superior knowledge. my point was that even a cursory glance at American political history shows that the party landscape did change a few times. my conclusion is: parties in the US look immortal, but they aren't. provably so, then the Whigs, for example, are gone
and to the fourth, my two cents: revolution is the proper term for a complete change of the political setup, and no, it does not have to be violent at all. Plenty of cases in history for that, and my favourite is what happened in East Germany, or in Eastern Europe in general. People just "took the street" and chanted "we are the people"
That first one was a veiled reference for "independents" being de facto useful idiots for Obama and Team "D" (this November). History is replete with examples of whatever "majority" or "ruling" party trying to suppress opposition turnout with psychological warfare. The current "stay at home" movement (generally) just reeks of a 21st century/social media take on the old trick when a party can't expect to win because they have managed to piss so many people off and unite the opposition.
Just because the difference between Janus' two faces are only skin deep, doesn't negate the fact that Party leaderships always wants the bigger office, bigger perks and administrative control, and they have a legion of foot soldiers and hundreds of millions of dollars in capital deployed to achieve those ends.
The point everyone is missing is this. All these goons crave power. If you vote them out, any of them, sure they will get a lobbying job but the crave the power more. That loss of power will create so much stress for them that it will take time off their lives on this planet. Maybe its a year, maybe its one second. Either way, its a good thing. Every second counts when you are in a cesspool digging the shit out. :)
And the judges too....
I have also given up on any possibility that Washington, D.C. will ever reform itself to the benefit of American citizens. I will no longer vote in any federal elections.
If you want to change the system, there appears to be only two options. Join the three percenters (your local militia, and train hard to do it the hard way) or support an Article V Convention of the States to amend the Constitution to eliminate or modify the Federal government. If you prefer the Article V method, as I do, you will need to take an active role in pushing your state legislators to call for an Article V. Washington, D.C. would have no role in a state convention and would be obligated to accept any modifications to the Constitution or become an openly illegal government. You still have to have some faith that 38 of the state legislatures will do the right thing in adopting amendments that return America to the concepts of the founding fathers. Otherwise, there is no hope at all for the American Republic.
The group "Convention of the States" is currently working toward an Article V to bypass Washington, D.C. If you are serious about changing the federal government, check out their website, contribute your time and contribute your money. Otherwise, just sit at your computer and type your complaints.
Neo/Zio-Cons don't just "vote". They're ACTIVISTS.
Are YOU?
Voting is a civic duty that a lot of great people fought and died for to insure that the right to vote and for that matter protest be granted to those of us left behind with the freedom and liberty to choose our leaders.
Instead of protesting or marching in the streets expressing outrage as they should at the corrupt system the lazy response is to not vote. The two are not the same in outcomes and in my belief you simply feed the corruption ever more by not voting. Vote for a third party or write in candidates but make sure your voice is heard at the ballot box as well. A protest against the system of government by not voting at all is simply not the answer while protesting in the streets if you don't like the direction of the country will get a much bigger response from everyone.
Sorry but this is just idiotic. Your support for the government is the taxes you pay. They could care less if you vote, as long as you give them your productivity. You aren't opting out of the system. As long as you row the boat, you part of the system, whether or not your voice your choice when it comes to choosing a new captain. Pull your head out of your ass and vote 3rd party.
For the past three weeks every newscast has started with in-depth stories about the elekshun. Every youtube video starts with a political advertisement. Political banner ads are being injected into your web browsing experience. Some areas are even mailing out voter "report cards" to rate how often you vote. I'd say the gubermit cares very much if you vote or not.
PS, enjoy the cheap oil. Be sure to fill up by Nov 4th.
"Pull your head out of your ass and vote 3rd party."
LOL...make me.
Totally agree. You have a responsibility as a citizen to vote. You can vote 3rd party, write-in, or vote out all incumbents. You do not have to vote for D or R. You are part of the political process whether you like it or not. There are many people who are harmed by government, and we have a responsibility to maintain a free society, or as close to one as we can get. Teaching children not to vote is stupid. The government is out of control, corrupt as fuck, and responsible adults refuse to get off their ass to vote them out? Gawd.
Totally disagree. You have a responsibility to lick my balls.
"The government is out of control, corrupt as fuck, and responsible adults refuse to get off their ass to vote them out?"
Well, this government has been out of control for a very long time. Getting off my ass and voting them out has done what exactly to change anything?
You see, at some point people begin to realize that the game is sewn up. Fixed. Rigged. Go vote all you want. I will bet you $1 that not only do things not change for the better, but they get progressively worse as they have over my and your lifetime.
Voting is confidence in the system, consenting to it and agreeing to be part of it. I do not consent to organized crime. No matter what they choose to call it.
"You are part of the political process whether you like it or not."
LOL...then why are you so pissed that we're not voting?
You bring up the right and crucially important issue of paying taxes, but then instead of reaching the logical conclusion that the right thing to do is not to pay taxes, you insist that it is good to be part of the system after all. Maybe he is not paying taxes and maybe he does his best not to be a part of the system. I hope so. I don't know much about the author, so I don't know, do you? If that is the case then not voting is the logical choice.
I try my best opting out of the system, including taxation, and I don't vote. I want it to be known among the people who are close to me and anyone else who may care that I don't vote, because it demonstrates that I have nothing to gain and nothing to lose from the outcome of elections.
A train is going down the tracks. It cannot be stopped. There is a lever on the rails, which will decide which of two directions the train will go. If the lever is left alone, the train, hurtling out of control, will crash into a building and kill hundreds. If you pull the lever, the train will go on a different path, also out of control, where it will crash into a smaller building, killing only several dozens. The lever is labeled "Republican". You have arrived at the lever in time to pull it and decide where the train will go. Do you pull the lever?
A train crashes and kills people, and an uproar is raised because the peeps standing near the lever refused to touch it.
About freaking time. The uproar is needed for serious discusson, not the sham role of lever pulling.
"Yesterday, our new President was elected by one vote! Not a one vote differential; only guy voted! So now we switch coverage to our teleprompter in chief to hear about his mandate from the people!"
I should probably just avoid this place tomorrow night.
Too many neocons.
I want the most people to die, so no, I wouldn't pull the lever.
How about I just put a rock on the track and derail the train?
Plus one fucking thousand "votes" from me, for this answer.
Don't be "rail-roaded" into a false dichotomy ... derail that train with lateral thinking.
I jump off the train and watch the explosion.
Please please please, voting is a crime, read 14th ammendment.
do some research on LB Bork essays. Voting is how they turn them into 13th ammendment slaves, crime.
Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.[1]
http://pacinlaw.us/pdf/Treason_by_Design.pdf
from the above reference, behold the 14th amemdment:
" The pertinent text found in Section 2 of the Fourteenth
Amendment illustrates to us that it is a crime to vote. This is so evil it is beyond belief:
“. . .the right to vote at any election. . . is denied. . . except for
participation in rebellion, or other crime. . .” "
I am no expert on the US constitution, but I am pretty sure section 2 actualy state that you can't be denied the right to vote except if you participated in the rebellion or commited a crime. In fact, they could potentialy deny your vote, but they would need to count out those people when calculating the representation number.
To me as I read through sentence diagram, it still says clearly to me,
is denied ... except in participation in rebellion or other crime.
This is a premise of the LB Bork book.
There was no existing government, there was Lincolns general orders, martial order.
There was no consitution, no contract between sovereign states.
The reconstruction amendments created this reconstructed Federal "district" corporation contract.
The dual citizens, of both their state and the "district" corporation, are commiting treason to the dejour
constitution, by voting, rebellion.
Note also just before this, the original dejour Titles of Nobility 13th amendment went missing, letting the
british esquires in to craft such sentences.
I am lawfully not a district citizen as long as I dont posess the voter registration card, I am a Lawful
dejour State National in allegiance to the original dejour constitution.
Other slavery such as SS number is forced coersion and is not
evidence of district citizenship, so long as one does not register to vote, thus consenting by participation.
Quite shocking to lay it right under their nose in legalese babble, and they cant or dont want to see the
"legal" fiction in black and white. Slaves, 13th ammendment slave to be precise.
"legal" is the opposite Lawful. Lawful is dejour constitution, The Constitution.
legal is statute commercial contract. the "district" corporation, This reconstructed constitution.
Substitute contract for constitution.
One is contract between sovereign states, law.
One is commercial contract slavery, statute.
No intellectual curiousity. Commercial contract Slaves.
I think what it comes down to each sides like the opportunity to statute power over another,
tryanny over free will, and dont want to really know what the legal fiction system is, they want to
get it for themselves. Like the liberals thought all the money printing and good and necessary because
it was their man in there and it was going to trickle down to them instead of some evil oligarch.
They only hate the money printing when they dont think they control it.
It is same as the famous quote,
" from their own operations manuals, a nation of people too ignorant to use their intelligence,
are the same as animals which have no intelligence, and are just steaks on the table, by
their own consent"
this time around a no-show is a None Of The Above for me.
I'm abstaining.
Sen. Inhofe might be considered a decent Senator and a conservative Republican. He wants to back the criminal junta Zog-ligarchs in Kiev who are murdering innocent Ukrainian citizens and their own conscripts when they surrender.
Inhofe is working totally for MIC and the defense contractors including General Dynamics owner Lester AIPAC Crown who is a major Obama and McCain supporter. This scum in the Senate will arm anyone with taxpayer paid for weapons to murder innocents.
http://en.ria.ru/politics/20141104/195073171/US-Senate-to-Push-for-Letha...
WASHINGTON, November 4 (RIA Novosti) — The US Senate will do everything in its power to overcome a possible White House decision not to send lethal assistance to Ukrainian government forces, a representative from US Senator James Inhofe's office told RIA Novosti.
"If no such decision is made by [US President Barack] Obama, the issue will be considered by the Senate and the Armed Services Committee, [who] will do whatever it can to make it happen," the Inhofe representative said.
The lesser of two Evils are Psychopaths.
You can't opt out because it is your last chance before you have to say fuck it and rise up in arms. Hope before the untold horrors of change bitchez. Arrest Loyd Blankfein and stop the inevitable destruction.
Better late than never. Tool!
First, I'm not voting democrat. Sorry. Not for me. Secondly, after watching what the lawless criminal scumbags in the Republican party did to Ron Paul last time, I will never, ever vote Republican again. Ever. Period.
Voting just communicates that you're operating within their "system." Sorry, I don't want a "system." I want freedom.
We shall not forget.
I was there participating in the caucus for Republicans to push the Ron Paul candidacy forward. The majority were in favor of RP at the local level.
He / we got screwed big time on the national level by the unseating of his delegates. But I am thankful for that karmic bitch slap as it showed me what the system thinks of me. I recommended not voting and maybe cleaning your guns.
+1 Could have replaced the entire article with your post without losing any depth or sentiment.
Voting gives you the right to bitch. If you don't vote that's like complaining that your kitchen smells like shit whilst refusing to pick pick up and take out the steaming pile your great dane dropped in front of your fridge. If you're not gona vote fine, that's your right, but smell your shit and leave me in peace. If you believe your votes aren't being counted than volunteer to observe in the process of how votes are counted or organize groups to take exit poles and juxtapose against actual results. If you're not gona make the effort to change it than just STFU.
So you are saying that you earn the right to bitch that your kitchen smells like dog shit instead of horse shit by voting?? No vote cleans up the shit, doofus, it is simply a vote for a different kind of shit. I'd choose no shit in my kitchen, thanks.
The system itself has become corrupt, and no cog within the machine will change anything. So go ahead and vote for the best smelling shit & then bitch all you want, having "earned" that right and all.
And btw - those not voting will gladly leave you in peace, they generally have little to do with the system (kinda the point of opting out)... and if by chance your voting will cause a disturbance in MY peace down the line, expect a knock at the door.
Incorrect. Not Voting gives you every right to Bitch at the Dumb Fucks that put these clowns in office. Anyone that honestly beLIEves there is a dimes worth of difference between either party is TOO STUPID TO DESERVE A VOTE IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Millions of people vote for my enslavement and they think that is their right. People who vote are initiating aggression against anyone who wants to be free from government. That makes any voter the bad guy.
I don't vote, and I don't want your evil fucking government.
By participating in a crime, you endorse said crime and are in fact considered a criminal.
How is voting any different?
one and only
First of all, nobody grants me rights. Rights exist because I am a human being. My rights are not parcelled out to me "because I vote," or because I do anything.
As long as you are partial to analogies, consider this. You are a schoolkid. You go to school and the bullies steal your lunch money every day. Every so often the two bullies have an election to see which one should be in charge of the shakedown. Their election pitches sound like this: "Vote for me - now is the time for change! I will steal a lot less of your lunch money than the other guy." Kind of sick, right?
Have some fucking dignity. Don't "vote" for that! Jesus, act like a man.
I"m not going to vote...AND I'm going to complain! What do you think of that? I have some news for you: The time to be reasonable HAS PASSED.
You're insane if you actually believe that by observing how votes are counted actually makes a difference. The folks with the most money win, always.
Probverbs 22:7

There is no rational reason to believe that your vote and every other vote cast, is correctly tabulated. Early voting mail-in ballots? Perhaps they are compared with the voting rolls and it is noticed that you voted in primary X and so your ballot is tossed away. Perhaps it is offset by stuffed ballots from dead people and illegals. Use an alectronic voting machine? A lot of them are switching the vote right in front of you and SOME people notice. Let's say they show on the screen exactly how you voted. You get to confirm your votes before you subm,it your ballot. How do you know your ballot isn't changed after you press the submit button? The fact is that there is now no way to audit an election and the election is therefore, by definition, a charade and a fraud. It amounts to nothing more than an irrational faith that the results they tell you have any connection to the actual intended tally. There is no evidence that such is the case.
Time to return to a system where those voting are the ones with skin in the game. Period.
ironshield
Actually, that idea is part of Hans-Hermann Hoppes' essy "What Must Be Done." That is, the idea that people who are at risk of despotic redistributions should be the only ones voting.
Landowners only? Long overdue.
It doesnt matter who wins, you get fucked both ways.
but, will you pick-up a AR-15 and inflict some damage?
Can't use an AR-15. It's a scary "assault rifle" and most plebs would die of shock at the sight of one.
Unless, of course, you are also wearing full body armor, with the words "SWAT" emblazoned upon your chest.
Then the plebs will drop to their knees, thanking their gods that a true hero has arrived to save them.
Moar positive change could be dealt out by individuals with silenced .22 pistols and long range hunting rifles than by guys carrying carbines; and yes, I own a carbine.
Just my $.02.

Voting for Death: Criminal vs. Criminal
Linh Dinh
Counterpunch
America, you have become a nation of enablers and apologists for tyranny and mass murder. You condemn the Nazi and gulag guards of times past even as you celebrate your own mercenaries and torturers…
Safely ensconced in academic luna parks, your leading intellectuals lean slightly right or left, but never enough to rock this blazing gunboat...they’re all gung ho about candidates who back illegal wars and banking frauds, since each is supposedly the lesser of two evils.
…simply by voting, you will give [this thoroughly corrupt and murderous system] the green light to go on killing and looting...
The Good Old Party spooks the upper and middle classes by threatening, If you don’t vote for us, the Dems will take your hard-earned cash and give it to the freeloaders, crackheads and other miscellaneous losers, while the Democrats, in turn, scare the lower rungs by snarling, If you don’t vote for us, the Republicans will let your retired, diapered ass rot under a bridge, on a piece of cardboard, but lordy, lordy, lordy,...
...it is already happening...
Each party paints the other as the greater evil, though both are equally whorish to a military banking complex that has wrought so much grief and destruction worldwide, including here. As they offshore your job, they may toss you a free cell phone or allow you to wed your same sex lover, but isn’t time, seriously, we demand that our money be spent responsibly, for our benefits? But no, we can only beg for small change, instead of real ones, and must vote, again, for proven liars and criminals, and hope, against all evidence, that they won’t impale us this time…
Already, nearly half of Americans don’t cast ballots in any election, but we must make this abstention purposeful, as a clear sign of protest and not an act of apathy. The world must see that Americans aren’t all deranged and hypnotized as those who cheer and vote for one lying criminal after another. We’re better than this, so let’s prove it…
Voting is an endorsement of the system. Not voting is the only moral choice. The fact that so many here are still invested enough in the corrupt Washington establishment that they care which team is in power is a sad commentary on the ZH readership.
Exactly. Unfortunately not voting isn't quite as attention getting as not saying the pledge. That really riles em up.
The problem with this is you often really do need to vote at the state and local level to keep complete idiots from getting in and causing all sorts of damage. At the national level, though, it's pointless, all the districts are gerrymandered to hell, the primaries are way more influential than the actual election is, and those just determine who's selling you out to the Feds anyway.
But to keep a couple commie whackadoo's off the school board so they don't spend what's left of the budget on transgender awareness programs when the kids are flunking math, yeah, it's worth voting for that.
This is probably one of the most reactionary, retarded articles I have ever read here at ZH.
Basically the author of this article believes: "I'm going to be responsible by not being responsible."
Of course you vote: YOU VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE!! You vote for real impactful change; You vote for the preservation of the union; You vote to have your voice heard!!
Yes, there have been rigged elections. Bush 43 fuckin' stole 2 elections in a row -- yes he did, there is proof everywhere that got suppressed by the MSM!
What this country needs is a third, and fourth, political party. There needs to be real choice in the men and women we vote for.
We need term limits, we need outside money limits, we need to limit our centralized government.
This election cycle I'm voting for every third-party candidtate I can. If I can't vote for a 3rd party individual, then I'll vote Democrat. YES!...Dems are just as "owned" as the Republicans, but just slightly less, but I'm picking my battles.
Your owners applaud you, serf.
This is hilarious.
Just the other day, another poster was ranting about how the only solution was to vote in "Conservative Republicans."
And now we have you, talking about holding your nose and choosing the "slightly-less-evil Democrats."
The only "reactionary retards" here are people like you that think that an inherently corrupt system like monolithic government can somehow be controlled by "voting." You admit to the abuses that government has been committing, for decades if not centuries, but still, you ladle your love upon it like a classic battered wife.
"He still loves me, he really does! It was my fault that he hit me! He'll change this time, really! I can't imagine my life without him!"
The only way to change the system is to be ENGAGED with it.
You bitch about the system, but you don't vote. That is pure hypocrisy. Hate the system all you want, but keep in mind you get what you vote for. If you don't vote, you reap nothing -- not even pride or patriotism.
If you don't vote, you have absolutely no reason to complain.
One more thing:
The 'slightly-less-evil' Dems are not my first choice. I said that up there. I did say that third-party individuals are my first choice. Another responder did suggest voting out incumbants, which is a great idea.
But no, I'm not delusional. Voting, THOUGH NOT PERFECT, is a way to elicit real change, and yes, be heard.
delusional (adjective):
1. having false or unrealistic beliefs or opinions.
2. Psychiatry. maintaining fixed false beliefs even when confronted with facts, usually as a result of mental illness.
The "preservation of the union", really?
The dissolution of the union would be one of the best outcomes we could hope for.
Centralization of power is the heart of the problem. This guy is either a governemnt plant or dillusional.
I'm guessing there are plenty of plants/trolls on this thread, though the delusions of the masses continue to amaze.
The dissolution of the union would mean the INTRODUCTION of fascism. It is bad enough we live in the goddamn surveillance society, but at least we can, for the most part, still be individual men, women, with choice and relative freedom.
The dissolution would be worse than anything we have now.
We already have fascism.
I'm not interested in helping this country do ANYTHING. That's why I don't vote. The U.S. can BLOW ME.
You are truly a moron! The mainstream media suppressed vote fraud committed by Bush? That would be the only thing they ever did showing favoritism to him.
Don't forget to go to the polls tomorrow to pretend to pick the latest crop of ponzi administrators and brutality directors and let the rulers know how many still believe in the Idiocracy.
An American, not US subject.
Rather than not voting, a better choice is to vote 'anti-incumbent' as any 'new' politician is likely to be less corrupt than the ones who were in power before.
That's actually a good idea, too.
The very fact the electoral college officially elects the president and vice president is proof positive your vote is as worthless as balls on barry
There was a great very lengthy WSJ article in this many years ago. I seem to recall it being in the time frame close to Sept 11, 2001
It laid out the complete history of voting and the electoral college in the US. Very enlightening
Everything is a fraud anyway to keep the sheep asleep. The US has been in a declared state of emergency forever. Which means the CONstitution has been suspended. Yet everyone up through .gov pretends it still is in effect because they're a bunch of gutless pussies and don't have the balls to come out and admit it openly because they know what will happen to them
Most recent reason cited: "widespread violence and atrocities" in the Democratic Republic of Congo "
HUH, WTF?
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2014/10/22/president-obama-s...
A moralistic tantrum. It allows you to feel good and claim to be "a better person" by not being responsible for anything.
It just makes other people to blame for all your grievances.
The right to control public opinion trumps the right to vote. Instinct not intellect determines how people vote.
http://quillian.net/blog/
I'm voting for everyone who is not an incumbent, that way, if the incumbent should lose, he'll or she'll probably have to clean out his or her desk and that will be the first and last work he or she would have done as an elected official....
Imagine Lineville, a town spread out along a four-mile stretch of state highway, with enough residents to support two grocery stores. The sensible placement of these stores would be at mile 1.0 and mile 3.0, so that no one lives more than one mile from a store. But then one owner moves his store to mile 1.5, stealing the customers from miles 2.0 to 2.25, while forcing those between miles 0.0 and 1.25 to drive farther to his store. This story ends with two stores side-by-side at mile 2.0.
And that is why there is so little difference between the two political parties.
Do you see a problem with words "the two political parties"?
Adding a third party to the mix takes votes away from the closer of the other two parties, ensuring an easy victory for the party most distant from the new party's ideology. So a new party is never taken seriously unless one of the old parties is already falling apart (e.g. the Whigs).
I understand that. Do you see a problem with it?
No, I don't see a problem with it. Americans want socialism, vote for socialism, and get socialism. If any anti-socialist (i.e. no more income tax, fiat money, Social Security, Medicare, welfare programs, etc.) thought he had a chance of winning, he could try his luck in the primary of either party.
"Both Democrats and Republicans support militarism, taxation, spying on us, inflation, redistribution of wealth, Keynesian economics and corporatism once they get in office."
Vote for third party candidates that want to fight the status quo and start repealing shit. Third party candidates have no chance in the near future, but if enough people start voting against the Republicrats, future generations may get an opportunity to get this shithole on a better track. Will that ever happen? Who knows? But, it certainly won't if people don't start voting against the status quo. Now.
Vote for candidates like this...

Excerpt from 'Iron Web', Larken Rose's character nails voting hypocrisy in this rant:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5mZ5FBHg0A
politicians are all liars, they are all a fraud, and they'll do anything to get elected, but once in office, it's all about their own interests and not yours. doesn't matter what party it is, it's all crap. by voting, all you do is recognize the legitimacy of the system. which is something i do not recognize in the least. you can't vote for anything that actually matters anyways, as THOSE issues are not "politically viable" ever. So what's the fucking point? There is none. The only thing that gives the system credibility is participation. If enough just ignore it, ok, sure, ya won with 60% of the vote, but under 10% bothered to vote. It's the sort of thing that brings revolution, and that's honestly about the only process remaining which is still viable.
"I want to always help my children understand that they are sovereign men and women, and have no obligation to any government."
This guy is in a fantasy world.
We put our mail-in ballots to good use. Put them in the woodstove and got a few seconds of heat. That is a far greater benefit than picking the lesser of two evils. The last time I participated in a national election, I voted for Ross Perot. I refuse to vote for anyone just because the other candidate may or may not be MORE EVIL. The system is broken and it will never be fixed until we have an election where no one shows up to vote.
His infomercials with charts & graphs were hilarious
He was the origin Tyler long before ZH was ever conceived
Step 1 First we'll clean house
Step 2 Then we'll rebuild
Step 3 Then everyone will have a chicken in their pot
See its all here on this 1 chart
Does anyone here really thinks that nobody would turn up to vote? BULL
The special interest groups love the fact that you have disengaged. They can now win elections with far fewer votes. They only need a minority voting block (blacks, gays, vegans, snap card holders, pinkos, muzzies, Jews) to support them and they get elected. Then those same voting blocks get their agendas met with YOUR tax dollars.
Unless you also own no property (property tax) and buy no goods (more taxes) then you are financially supporting their system.
Take the system back by voting out the worst and hopefully swing a few seats. Then hammer those candidates with the fact that you will vote them out next election if they don't do a decent job.
Also get in at the grass roots and get your local and state reps into line. The more of them that are taken over by decent folk the easier to give a F.U. to Washington.
It's time to get NOTA (None of the Above) allowed on primary and general elections. If no one gets a majority of the votes (in other words, if NOTA wins, the whole process has to be repeated). This would (hopefully) get a better group of people into the running.
NOT voting is not a solution.
Democrats and Republicans are your only 'official' choices.
You're missing something here. There is another mid-position:
A better move is to vote and cancel your ballot.
I don't know if it's possible in the USA, with the voting machines, but otherwise all cancelled votes are also counted.
The number of cancelled ballots could make a huge difference.
Elected by a minority of VOTERS.
vote for whoever is not the incumbent and any third party. that is the only way to disrupt a two party popular vote system. the perfect anarchy. the disrupters will have all the power in an election without centralized leadership.
vote anti-incumbent!
It is such a great tragedy when the exponential growth of runaway social insanities makes the article above seem sensible, while most of the comments above also more or less endorsed that view.
My analysis:
Citizens are members of organized crime gangs, called their countries, who have become the victims of the best brainwashing that money could buy, for generation after generation, so that there are enough of them that can be fooled enough of the time. In fact, the established systems of legalized lies backed by legalized violence have already become almost completely crazy and corrupt, as well as terminally sick and insane. Inside of that context, it does not matter much whether or not one rationalizes not voting, nor if one does vote.
The only realistic ways that the established systems can be changed is through their own madness destroying themselves. I WISH that was not the case, but there are no reasonable grounds to conclude otherwise. There is no way that enough people could understand enough the basic facts that everyone has some power to rob, and power to kill to back up that power to rob, while governments have assembled and channeled those powers, which theoretically public powers were then almost totally privatized by the best organized gangs of criminals, the biggest gangsters, the banksters, who were able to apply the methods of organized crime to the political processes, in order to capture control over governments, and thereby effectively privatize the public powers.
In my opinion, the theory of a democratic republic operating through the rule of law is still the best theory we have. However, in practice the real world has devolved towards combined money/murder systems which are almost totally based on frauds and deceits, to the degree to which enough of the people are Zombie Sheeple, who have been scientifically conditioned for generation after generation to become political idiots, so that currently the elections are puppet shows put on by the mass media for the masses of muppets.
The feedback loops of the roles of money in politics have resulted in those systems becoming runaway criminal insanities, headed towards psychotic breakdowns, in which social situation there is nothing which can be changed by either voting, or not voting, because the history of the funding of politics has already become more than 99 to 1 completely crazy corruption, which is too terminally sick and insane to possibly fix. Therefore, it is tragic that we got to the point were it is easier to find people who are proud of not voting, than find people who understand how and why that attitude gradually developed, as vicious feedback loops whereby the theory of a democratic republic operating through the rule of law was almost totally destroyed.
Therefore, it is tragic that we got to the point were it is easier to find people who are proud of not voting
Good points, but I'd be careful saying people are proud of not voting. I don't see that very much. The people who are proud of not voting, probably use it as an excuse because they are too lazy to understand what's going on or they'd rather be watching their fantasy football score.
The lesser of 2 evils is less evil.
Vote:
1. Baby mincing machine: 1 babies per minute minced.
2. Baby mincing machine: 2 babies per minute minced.
Either way you're a complicit enabler. Good luck with your conscience. Hope it works out for you.
So you would rather not vote and be OK with 2 babies minced per minute?
I think that is covered by the expression "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing".
Other than not voting what are you doing to stop the baby mincing?
I don't mince babies.
I accept that a major percentage of humans will choose to mince babies, with individual excuses as to why they "must".
I converse with others when appropriate about my choice to not mince babies, nor to support those who do. occasionally, someone decides mincing babies is not something they can tolerate on their conscience as well.
I acknowledge that there are billions of humans in the world, with different perspectives on their reality, most of that based on their belief in "their nationstate" or "their personal god", and that the very nature of all those minds with conflicting personal beliefs remain beyond my control to change. it is what it is.
I never vote. I do live my own truth as best I can, and expect other humans will do the same, even if our lives have nothing in common.
Well, that certainly gives a new perspective on pie for the holidays.
Wow.
And you approve of mincing babies at a rate of 1 per minute. Cos that's exactly what you're doing when you vote for it. You are saying that you want babies minced.
When you vote, you give politicians permission... a mandate ... to massacre children in iraq. syria, afghanistan. You voted for it and you're getting what you want. You legitimise the system.
What kind of sick twisted mind do you have?
I vote for Libertarian, other minor party or no-party-affiliation candidates (and abstain if there is not one on the ballot), then always vote to fire all judges. Since 2006, I have never voted for any of the elephant-jackass sock puppets representing the one-party system.
Despite doing this, I have accepted that SECESSION is the only political solution available.
