While Yellen Is Stumped By Inequality, Maserati October Sales Soar By 97%
Spot the free-money, wealth-effect-pumping, inequality-driven difference...
GM sold 226,819 vehicles in October 2014, just 417 more vehicles than it sold in October 2013 (+0.18%)
“The U.S. economy has steadily improved all year and now we are poised for a stronger expansion backed by an improved job market, higher consumer confidence and lower fuel prices,”
Maserati saw 97 percent sales gain posted in October, compared with same month one year ago
"Reflecting the broader appeal and versatility of the expanded model range and its exceptional performance and style, Maserati has recorded its best October ever," says Peter Grady, President & CEO of Maserati North America, Inc.

Didn't you hear? QE3 was a gift to the rich.
<Mission Accomplished.>
No gift....theft. This hot money is evaporating the working stiffs income and opportunity.
And savings and assets, too. All that hot money came at the price of real negative interest rates for the proles' savings, but positive real rates for their debts.
The Chosenite cunt prints $TRILLION$ of dollars and gives it to all her chosenite friends, and then she's stumped as to why the rest of us are still poor?
You have to be fucking kidding me...
Our Military leaders are seriously fucked up in the head if the don't bomb these parasites...
It proves the Fed is owned by...wait for it...The Rich! Surprise! Why would they do anything but take your 'money' and go to war with it? Oh, and you're gonna fight that war btw. Forward!!!
There's a conspiracy at work here...
http://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/compare/2014-Maserati-Ghibli-vs-2014-P...
No way anyone chooses it willingly.
Style-wise the Maserati wins hands down. Performance/Tech wise, it loses badly.....particularly given the twin-turbo configuration barely beating the Porsche's non-turbo engine. If performance specs are what you're paying for, then the Benz runs away with this comparison. Granted, it used a V-8 instead of a V-6....but they milked better efficiency along with the expected more power than the Porsche and Maserati. But, styling is awful for both the Benz and the Porsche (please Porsche end this Panamerica line....or at least give it a total remake).
You can see how the 0.01%, flush with shit-tons of freshly printed FRNs backed by Johnny Taxpayer.....will go for style every time. Besides.....there is also the 'latest fad' consideration possibly at work here. Porsche and BMW are so.....pedestrian now. But just say the word 'Maserati'.....and yeah....you can see how their coke-crusted brains immediately go into 'gotta have it' mode.
Style?? The ghibli is ugggly. People who buy maseratis also tend to think afflicition t shirts are cool.
How you think the cls and panamera have poor styling... I have no idea.
wtf.
Maserati Chairman: "Grazie, Russell 2000"
You can lease a Maserati Ghibli for 559 a month with 4000 down. I would take that over GM anyday
Yeah part of this misses that Maserati has been making a concerted effort to push more into the north american market (new models, more dealerships, etc.) This, plus growing off a low base and taking market share lets them turn in some nice growth numbers. Yes, it's $80K to drive off the lot, but you can easily hit that with Porsche, Mercedes, and shit, Caddy Escalades cost more than Maserati Ghiblis do.
Maserati = All Show and No Go
I would rather have a Vette for the money.
Duesenbergs were going fo 25 bucks after the 29 crash
Good point.
So that means I can pick up a nice used Maserati after the crash for a few rounds of silver. Sweet!!!
Probably trade for a pickup instead though.
Inequality has gone from a slow bleed to a gusher in short time. The water is boiling. Someone take the frog legs out or they're going to get stringy.
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've got no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!!
yeoman economy -> plantation economy
prosperity -> not prosperity
One month some year not long from now, I expect beheadings will rise 97% in a single month.
My Maserati does 185

LOL !!!
The S&P is 2004
It's hard to leave when you can't find the door
The reason is that there's a new cheaper model that can compete with Mercedes, BMW and the like. $70-80K
Yellen and the rest know exactly what their doing. Enriching the 1% at the expense of the 99%.
Nobody who drives a GM is happy about their slot in life.
(Perhaps excluding the Escalade).
italian trash. feel sorry for anybody who buys ones of these piles of garbage.
Maria Antoinette drove a Maserati, right?
Keep bailing out unproductive and dead companies and increase income-inequality. The more the government interferes in the economy the poorer America becomes.
Fuck that Yoda looking zionist central banker cunt with a running rusty chainsaw sideways!
Why do the numbers in this article have merit? According to the link below, Maserati sold 1,227 units this October. So by my calculations, Maserti sold about 623 units last yr. By comparsion they increased by virtually the same amount of units. If you want to make an argument about wealth inequality, have better supporting evidence.

You are obviously correct - I muss say that the level of reporting at ZH has really degraded over the past 12-18 months.
this is all you need to know about how fiat printing effects the economy:
"It stands just under 5 feet tall, a painted bronze woman atop a small platform with two wheels. But Alberto Giacometti's 1950 "Chariot" sculpture could make history Tuesday, when it goes on the auction block at Sotheby's.
With an estimated worth of more than $100 million, many dealers said it could become the most expensive sculpture ever sold and could help pull the increasingly top-heavy art market through another record-breaking auction season."
note who buys this art - while common men are without jobs, poor on welfare in highest numbers in usa history..think cabaret cabaret of 1930's berlin, money makes the world go round the world go round..

Why does our military benefit from the rich-poor paradigm? Me thinks the Military IS the Federal Reserve... And we all know that Socialism is the last thing they want, because with socialism we would ALL be wealthy. Just not wealthy enough to afford Maseratis...
Same is going on in boating
Big ticket boats sell, manufacturers are cutting back on their more affordable boats, no buyers
