The Trabant crashing through "the wall"... or Yul Brynner "spanking the child"...

I'll say it again!...

WB, this shit is getting (and has been) out of control for awhile. WTF??? My apologies for all the HTM HELL issues. OBAMA'S ATTORNEY GENERAL NOMINEE LORETTA LYNCH REPRESENTED CLINTONS DURING WHITEWATER

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/11/08/Obama-s-New-Attny-Gen-Nominee-Loretta-Lynch-Represented-Clintons-during-Whitewater

New York federal prosecutor Loretta Lynch, the new nominee for attorney general, has a career filled with high profile cases -- and she was a member of Bill Clinton's defense team during the 1992 Whitewater corruption probe.
As he made his announcement Saturday afternoon, Obama called the two-time U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York a "tough, fair and independent" lawyer.
"It's pretty hard to be more qualified for this job than Loretta Lynch," Obama said.
Indeed, the prosecutor has a long career built of some high profile cases but there is one case Lynch was involved in that few are talking about. Lynch was a part of Bill Clinton's Whitewater probe defense team in 1992.
In 1992, the Clintons came under fire for investing in a perennially failing Arkansas real estate company known as Whitewater Development, a venture heavily subsidized by Clinton friend Jim McDougal in an effort to soften the losses the Clintons were experiencing as investors. The probe was widened to look into the failure of the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan to which it was connected. Eventually the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission won several convictions handing jail time to the McDougals as well as Arkansas Governor Jim Guy Tucker.
The Clintons escaped any convictions in the probe..

http://www.nytimes.com/2001/03/16/nyregion/white-house-seeks-resignations-of-3-prosecutors-in-new-york.html

Three of the four top federal prosecutors in New York State, all Democratic appointees, have been asked to step down by the Bush administration, the Justice Department said yesterday.

The only United States attorney in New York who has been asked to stay on is Mary Jo White, who is prosecuting the ongoing terrorism case involving attacks on two American Embassies in East Africa in 1998. Ms. White is the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, which covers Manhattan, the Bronx and much of downstate New York…

...Ms. Tucker said that only about a dozen of the 93 United States attorneys had been asked to stay on, generally because of the cases they were working on. The rest of the prosecutors, including Ms. Lynch, Ms. O'Donnell and Mr. French, will be asked to leave sometime before June on a timetable that is still being worked out, Ms. Tucker said.

On Wednesday, Attorney General John Ashcroft said Ms. White would remain on the job indefinitely, primarily because of her involvement in the embassy bombings case.

Ms. White has also been put in charge of all accusations of criminal wrongdoing related to pardons granted by President Clinton, but Ms. Tucker said last night that the decision to retain her had been made before the pardons were placed in her purview.

Note Mary Jo White in the above post. Then read this article DB did awhile back:

Nauru (English i/n??(?)ru?/ nah-roo), officially the Republic of Nauru and formerly known as Pleasant Island, is an island country in Micronesia in the South Pacific. Its nearest neighbour is Banaba Island in Kiribati, 300 kilometres (186 mi) to the east. With 9,378 residents in a 21-square-kilometre (8.1 sq mi) area, Nauru is the smallest state in the South Pacific and second smallest state by population in the world, behind only the Vatican City.

Settled by Micronesian and Polynesian people, Nauru was annexed and claimed as a colony by the German Empire in the late 19th century. After World War I, Nauru became aLeague of Nations mandate administered by Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. During World War II, Nauru was occupied by Japanese troops, who were bypassed by the Allied advance across the Pacific. After the war ended, the country entered into trusteeship again. Nauru gained its independence in 1968.

Nauru is a phosphate rock island with rich deposits near the surface, which allow easy strip mining operations. It has some phosphate resources which, as of 2011, are not economically viable for extraction.[3] Nauru boasted the highest per-capita income enjoyed by any sovereign state in the world during the late 1960s and early 1970s. When the phosphate reserves were exhausted, and the environment had been seriously harmed by mining, the trust that had been established to manage the island's wealth diminished in value. To earn income, Nauru briefly became a tax haven and illegal money laundering centre. From 2001 to 2008, and again from 2012, it accepted aid from the Australian Government in exchange for hosting the Nauru detention centre.

The president of Nauru is Baron Waqa, who heads a 19-member unicameral parliament. The country is a member of the United Nations, the Commonwealth of Nations, theAsian Development Bank and the Pacific Islands Forum. Nauru also participates in the Commonwealth and Olympic Games. Recently Nauru became a member country of theInternational Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

Am I mistaken or is this column helping stoke up WW3 and demonize Russia?

With US and their NATO / EU surrogate finally surrounding Russia

This is not what I signed up for.

US overseas bases    1000

Russia                          10, all in their own  back yard.

Which does the world have to worry aout?

Putin driving the Lada through the wall was your tip-off.

You are correct about Russia being surrounded by NATO and the U.S. as the aggressor.

The world is changing Boubou.  Russia seeks to change that number.  Nobody here wants conflict but the world has plenty to worry about.

Published reports in South America say that Putin is seeking to create military bases in Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Argentina. All four countries are close partners of Moscow. Sources say that Putin will focus on Nicaragua because of its relatively stable political and economic environment.

U.S. eyes China partnership on Africa power - sources

http://af.reuters.com/article/investingNews/idAFKBN0IS0AG20141108

The United States is considering partnering with China on improving electricity in Africa and the proposal could be part of bilateral discussions when President Barack Obama visits Beijing next week, two sources involved told Reuters.

The proposal could include $5-$7 billion of commitments to improve electricity generation and transmission in several African countries, one source involved in the initiative said.

"Plans have been discussed and outline ideas drawn up but there are understandably nerves given the delicate relationship with China," one of the sources said. The source was unable to provide details on specific countries or projects.
