Yup, and no one on Wall Street in jail.
Generational genocide by any other name.
Obama spent six years rewarding his hedgie/Hamptons donor class and now can't figure out why he lost the election.
Scathing parody video could signal end of MSNBC:

And the band played on
Ball of confusion
That's what the world is today
Hey Hey!
Vote for me and I'll set you free
put your avatar on your campaign posters and you'll get lots of votes...
"The politicians say 'Mo taxes, will solve everythang!'"
You can't jail God's chosen people.
They're special.
No, just more equal.
What must ones state of mind actually be to not only believe in something for which there is not a shred of evidence but to believe you have an elevated status with the thing for which there is not a shred of evidence.
That's a special kind of dumb.
If they're special, can we put them on the short school bus and drive it off a cliff?
2 bricks on the gas pedal.
yes.
however, everyone thinks they are special.
whether it's jews with talk about god's chosen people
or christians with talk about jesus being the only begotten son of god
or muslims with their talk of theirs being the one true faith
it's all the same shit.
and it's funny to see christians and muslims on this site perpetuating the meme about jews being the "chosen people", when they themselves do the same thing, just like everyone else.
denial ain't just a river in egypt!
Jail is only for the Little Peeples. No one on Wall Street or sitting behind a bank desk is a Little Peeple. Even the reporter on the radio this afternoon said not one person has been indicted in the past decade despite rampant fraud ... as he then segwayed into this "new" F/X corruption scandal where "only a small fine was paid."
what radio??? you can't mean the joke that NPR has become...meaning NPR sounds like paid-to-speak media like all the rest. Oh wait, the Koke brothers, I forgot that their tenticles are in NPR too.
Whoever this poor guy is, he will be unemployed tomorrow for speaking about such things off script.
Don't forget, what street did you go out into and carry banners about these crimes and demand justice? Ask yourself that.
This is simply because so few realize they and the government have conspired against the people and proceeded to rape them in stealth. I'd say this were a brilliant achievement but with the sad shape intellectually the American population is in today, hardly a noteworthy achievement.
I hope for a charismatic leader to enlighten those slumbering. My worry is it would more likely be a Hitler vs a Gandhi.
Miffed
Don't count on McCONnell to get it right
any charismatic leader who wes enlightening would not get the MIC big bucks needed to persuade the voteriat who are unfortunately more interested in news about some woman's ass
I was fooled by all of the propaganda on "retirement" once and it will never happen again. I give the stink eye to our "investment advisor" whenever he comes into our office. The good news is that the number of people that listen to his drivel is going down each and every time. The sad news is that the people skipping the "investment advice" are not doing so because they are onto the shit oil salesman, but because they can't afford to buy shit anymore.
We met with one once. I was remarking to my wife how nice the place was. Lots of mahogany, granite, etc.
Didn't take long before I realized where all that $$ came from.
pods
Yes Pods, NICE SHAGPILE OF SORCERY, OLD CHAP.
Aye, those types possess an impressive fuckwad of necromancy indeud.
Maybe they're rich because they follow their own advice? Hah, I almost wrote that without cracking a smile - just couldn't do it ;-)
Had some financial dudes in where I work, selling the 'huile de serpent'
I asked them where the money to pay interest came from.
Two totally blank faces stared back.
They gave up on me at that point.
Don't blame the regulators. Don't blame the banks.
Blame S&P and Moodys and sue them into non-exsistance. What we're they thinking "AAA" ... ?
Pay for it.
Whichever way you look at it, the reality is that the greatest enabler of all this debauchery on Wall Steet, was the very low interest rate policy of the FED. Everything flowed from that fatal decision.
Well, that and the fact that Clinton repealed Glass Steagal, giving way to the now famous CDO.
Don't forget Tricky Dicky in 1971.
Throw in corrupted politicians and a more flexible (after elected) legal system Peter.
Too much truth, not enough funny.
Free Jon Corzine!
An American, not US subject.
"I sell my guillotines cheap, as the money is in the blades."
waiting for the customary HH comment.
Helping people is one of the worst things that governments can do for them. Frederick Douglass said it best--though he was talking about race relations, not bank intervention. Still, it would have been good advice for the Fed, too, over the years.
"I have had but one answer from the beginning. Do nothing with us! Your doing with us has already played the mischief with us. Do nothing with us! If the apples will not remain on the tree of their own strength, if they are worm-eaten at the core, if they are early ripe and disposed to fall, let them fall! I am not for tying or fastening them on the tree in any way, except by nature's plan, and if they will not stay there, let them fall."
Perhaps we could call this philosophy Frederick Douglass applied to business and the economic cycle.
I know friends , even in the face of all this adversity ASK NOT WHAT YOUR . . .
FUCK OFF
OK
Listen Zero's.
Toon time Bitchez!
Listen, what do you mean by "Toon time"?
My guess is 'CAR' or 'LOONEY' Like DisAbledVet i seldom have a clue what Bangalore is sayinKKKKK but he seems to be having a good time.
Listen gang.
Toon Time is a little ribbing that I give to the Tylers. ZH use to publish thought provoking articles, sometimes, I know, I know, sometimes it was even their own work.
Ever since Murdock bought The Hedge they have gotten real lazy man.
Instead of provocative articles now it's 24/7 cartoons. So "Toon Time" is me acknowledging the "NEW" owners are a lazy lot just in case if "ORIGINAL" Tylers are reading they might think of buying back the depreciated asset and get it back on course.
Toon Time Bitchez!
Hey Bangalore, you remind me of someone. Were you ever "Slewy the Pie Rat" as a different personality on ZH a few years ago? Just curious.
listen, bang-a-whore,
this is the first reasonable, intelligent post from you i've read that makes sense.
i hate to do it, but i'm giving you a +1
Send the fuckers to a liberal paradise!
“A liberal paradise would be a place where everybody has guaranteed employment, free comprehensive healthcare, free education, free food, free housing, free clothing, free utilities, and only law enforcement has guns.”
“And believe it or not, such a place does, indeed, exist.
It’s called prison.”
Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Maricopa County Sheriff
That makes sense.
US has more people in prison, per capita, than anywhere else on earth.
It's just a beginning. Pretty soon the whole US will be one big prison. Well on the way towards acheving the goal already.
Never understood why you need a job if everything is free....
Never understood why you need a job if everything is free....
Prison or the army. Join the army if you want to experience the socialist paradise but do it quick, they won't be able to afford the present high living standard when the civilian economy collapses.
New here. Reading Tyler ZH for several years... most awake, 'perspicacious' collection of sans-Matrix, ...a most entertaining and refreshing community. Thanks. - 'SK'
