The Full Letter Written By The FBI To Martin Luther King Has Been Revealed

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

Martin Luther King, Jr. is one of my personal heroes. Not just because of his outsized contribution to the civil rights movement, but because of his leadership capabilities and emphasis on non-violent civil disobedience. It also goes without saying, that this wasn’t just a great orator with enlightened tactics, he was also a highly intelligent man with a strong sense of history. This is on full display in his “Letter from Birmingham Jail,” which I highlighted in the piece: Martin Luther King: “Everything Adolf Hitler did in Germany was Legal.” Here are some of his timeless words.

One who breaks an unjust law must do so openly, lovingly, and with a willingness to accept the penalty. I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for law.

I must make two honest confessions to you, my Christian and Jewish brothers. First, I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro’s great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen’s Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice.

Actually, we who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension. We merely bring to the surface the hidden tension that is already alive. We bring it out in the open, where it can be seen and dealt with. Like a boil that can never be cured so long as it is covered up but must be opened with all its ugliness to the natural medicines of air and light, injustice must be exposed, with all the tension its exposure creates, to the light of human conscience and the air of national opinion before it can be cured.

So the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. Will we be extremists for hate or for love? Will we be extremists for the preservation of injustice or for the extension of justice?

Naturally, a man that utters such words and who also has a considerable following would not appeal to the thug in charge of the FBI at the time, J. Edgar Hoover. So what did Mr. Hoover do? He sent a letter to Dr. King, pretending to be a black person and implied that he should kill himself. None of this is news, but until the New York Times released it yesterday, copies of this letter had always been partly redacted. We now have the uncensored version. Here it is:

Screen Shot 2014-11-12 at 12.38.49 PM

Now ask yourself a question. Is the FBI any more ethical today than it was back then? I would argue certainly not. After all, it had a file on on tech prodigy Aaron Swartz, who was driven to suicide by the feds. Now imagine what the FBI could do to political dissidents in a world in which they have a backdoor into all your electronic devices, which is precisely what it wants.

So the next time you think to yourself “so what, I have nothing to hide,” think again. You don’t know what the future holds, do you really want the status quo to have everything you’ve ever done or said accessible in an electronic file on you? What about the threat this poses to other people who put themselves in the arena of fighting for social change? Do you want the FBI to be able to do to them what they did to MLK but 10x worse? Think deeply about that.

So is this proof that the guy who killed Dr King was really just another Oswald and it was really JEdgar in drag?
WTF?
Something is very very wrong here.
If the Good Doctor Thompson were here today he'd say that; "It's gotten way too weird already."

It is said to be true though that King was a sexually depraved, abusive, prostitute beating, orgy loving fraud.

He was a good orator and like Gandhi, led his people into deeper slavery (mental) through the crock of non-violence.

Gandhi, Mandela, King, birds of a feather.

You kkknow who else loves that trio.

Such was the last century, of clay gfooted false messiahs, one and all.

The good men were all reviled and died or were killed off...

Imagine what is on-going....

It is well documented that King was a depraved fraud, just as described in the above memo. Further, he plagiarized every piece of writing he ever submitted as his own - including portions of the famous "I have a dream" speech. He plagiarized his doctoral thesis so thoroughly he copied grammatical errors from the previous man's work.

I find it pretty interesting that Hoover's memo, while underhanded, actually tells the truth.

Since we are into cheap gossip, my theory is that the homo Hoover was jealous of MLK's much larger organ.  Too bad MLK didn't swing both ways,  Hoover would have let him live and he could have ghost written Obama's memoirs.

Was, is, he right?

I always find it interesting how people are willing to disregard someone's message because of peccadilloes or even just rumors of peccadilloes about the person.

That MLK was a philanderer and a plagiarist seems to be true. But true or not, was he correct in his truth against power, and demands for justice? However to focus on his faults, is to miss, ignore, that he never beat protestors with sticks, bats, and fists. That he never sicked dogs on helpless protestors. That he never hung or shot a person because of their skin color or opinions on truth or justice. And he certainly did not ever assassinate anyone.

But then Hoover was a closeted homosexual that used his power not for the justice it was said to exist for, but to gather more power over others by way of blackmail and extortion. He used his power to destroy and oppress, while MLK had no power except the truth about power.

Hoover was right about nothing, and also a criminal. MLK was right about much, but also a philanderer and plagiarist.

Hoover's message was lies, oppression and violence. MLK's was of justice.

Whose message should be discarded?

An American, not US subject.

Glad to see someone make this argument, +100

Now, what were the ramifications of his actions? "The Great Society". Large expansion of government power into the lives of everyone. Further, was justice ever achieved? Let's ask the people of Ferguson, Mo and every other place Blacks are abused and killed.

The State has never lost the opportunity to create a martyr and then extend its' tyranny through "a desire to honor the great works of Dr. King, etc".

The message here should be clear: there is no redemption of liberty via the State. Only tyranny comes from the machinery of politics and law. Did you vote? Then you gave them a legitimate claim to your slavery. Being part of a system lends credence to its' claims on your production.

"The message here should be clear: there is no redemption of liberty via the State. Only tyranny comes from the machinery of politics and law."

Fantastic, and so tragically true.

I always remind my friends and family that the black community could, should, be so much more than it is. And once was. However, they allowed themselves to resold into slavery, and have only benefited the way a slave can--misery and despair.

They are also being used as a "divide-and-conquer" tool by the elites. One must consider how, and by who, the NAACP was founded and run.

An American, not US subject.

The FBI today is the Pinkertons of old.  They serve wealth and power - same 'ol shit.  Hoover and the FBI considered King a 'domestic terrorist' and conspired to kill him, which they did.

See the book An Act of State by attorney William Pepper.  He documents the civil trial (Ray had died by then) brought by the King family in Memphis in 1999 in which a jury of 6 black and 6 white found that King had been killed by a conspiracy that included government agencies.  But we all know this because it was all over the media in '99, right?  /s

Frankly, I find it more likely that the communist agents behind King assassinated him, because he had served his purpose, and his further existence would only jeopardize what they had accomplished to that point, which was to destabilize race relations, regionally divide the country, and lay the groundwork to turn American blacks into a thoroughly demoralized underclass. Plus, the assassination itself had the welcome side effect of further destabilizing the nation. Don't forget that the Gun Control Act of 1968 was written in direct response to the King and RFK assassinations.

Actually, the segregation system was quite stable, and black people benefited from the stability. Take a look at what happened to the black family unit after 1965. A complete and utter breakdown. Out of wedlock births skyrocketing, abortion rates exploding, marriage virtually eliminated, crime (both black on black and black on white) running rampant, etc etc etc. need I go on?

You can make an argument that the segregation system was immoral. What is indisputable, however, is the profound negative consequences that black people -- and, by extension, white people-- have suffered following the demise of racial segregation.

Thu, 11/13/2014 - 12:53 | 5444511 Ignatius

I think the breakdown of the family unit - both black and white - happened for reasons other than desegregation.  Big topic.

I think we can agree that the Cultural Marxists were trying to destroy every american institution in the early 1960s-- segregation, the family unit, the catholic church, the military, the education system, etc etc etc... I do think that desegregation contributed to the disintegration of the black family unit, but it certainly wasn't the only factor involved.

Maybe the guy who murdered King was paid by the FBI or he thought he was doing Hoover a favor in return for a favor.

the so-called 'civil rights movement' was a coup by the elite against the white working class majority. The objective of this coup was to increase the size of the labor pool by changing the culture. The culture was changed by propaganda created by academics, writers and activists who were funded by corporations and plutocrats via large nonprofit foundations.

It's all about growth--growth in the size of the pool of worker-consumer livestock in the USA.

Multiculturalism is all same-same mass immigration. It is about growth.

Both are enabled by white-guilt propaganda inserted into malleable white minds, starting very early via the educational curriculum.

Something about the internets (and this site in particular) that attracts subhuman knuckledraggers pounding away on their keyboards with the same malignant tenacity of the people who spit on children trying to go to school.  At least the Klan got out of their underware and put on funny clothes once in a while.  These guys try to project the same epic Stupid from their bedrooms.

King, JFK, Hoover, Clinton, et al, have all had sexual cravings and acted upon them.

Look at the content of the two letters.

I know which one appeals to me.

The wording alone, the vile threats, turn me away from Hoover's, and he didn't even have the dignity to sign the letter as from himself, he lied about being a black man, it start from there an continues lying.

That is the problem in this world today, too many people respect 'bull shit'

What an historic moment for the American sheep to treasure yet again!...  Hope they add this to the collection in the Washington Archves and elsewhere with this and this!

This time from a closet faggot cross-dresser that lived his career as a paranoid delusional freak and everybody that worked for him that accepted that fact but continued to build their careers under him at that agency anyway!  Suffice it to say this erosion in our moral character and position has been deteriorating for a very long time.  They wanted King dead because he wasn't willing to stay in his little preordained "sandbox" after civil rights and when he went after the war machine and the stable of fresh black recruits with his most important speech on the Vietnam war in 1967 that was the end of him -literally!

Lesson for the JFKs, MLKs and Paul Wellstone's -Don't fuck with the money maker called the MIC!  Wonder what would have happened to Eisenhower if he had had the balls to make his epic speech before his second term?!!!  But lets not forget the skeletons in that mans closet either?....

if Hoover was a homo cross dresser, etc. , surprised we are not 'celebrating' that fact today - a man ahead of his time.

d_m

I'd concur with you that he would be a man ahead of his time had he come clean and brought his personal lifestyle to the office but the fact that he concealed his lifestyle is testimony to his abnormal narcissistic behavior and the "tension" that it clearly brought on throughout his professional career and life!

The larger and more important point is that those in the agency that knew of his peccadillos obviously were not inclined to double cross him because they knew he had dirt on them and everyone else of significance in Washington!

Which gets further to my arguement.  Who at the end of the day is worse?...

The ones "at the top", or the little guy that manages to "get by" doing the tops bidding for a career he or she feels that they cannot do without that they know leads to folly and ruin?...

What possible good does this letter serve? None. It just stirs up old feelings of injustice on both sides of the racial fence - of victimization and compounded lies. So which third party always benefits from stirring up tensions? It's really odd how you can recognize the signature of those who constantly strive to foment hatred and division between races, nations and religions. I could be wrong in this instance, but the whole bait with schmaltz thing stinks of Israel and its zionists.

King most likely was a sick puppy with regards to sex, but that does not negate his (borrowed) messages of nonviolent direct action to improve conditions for his kind in the context of his era. As an orator, I found his delivery over dramatic and contrived, but so was Churchill, another man who was a national hero to many and a schizophrenic genocidal lunatic to others from time to time. That's the trouble with heroes - they are just too human and you're better off not having any to put on a pedestal. Focus on the bastards who do evil because they have the power and let it go. None of this is worth a second of consideration and it only serves to distort the reality of the true divisions that exist today between the wealthy powerful warmongering liars who rule and the rest of us 99%.

Government, the idea of government, is a lie. The lie is that government is for the people and justice, when in reality it is nothing more than a criminal syndicate of theft and violence, a racket. That lie, government's cover, must be defended at all times, violently if necessary, because the lie provides cover for government, and justification for government's rackets.

All governments' first and foremost instinct is to control thought and speech. The more totalitarian the government, the more totalitarian its control of thought and speech. The lie and rackets must be maintained.

When someone comes spouting truth and demanding justice, they threaten to expose the lie, and unravel the rackets. Justice cannot be given, because a racket, or rackets, depend on there being no justice. So the truth teller, the demander of justice, must be reduced, and silenced if necessary.

The civil rights movement and treatment of MLK provide a stark testament of the true nature of government. Government had a stake in the many rackets dependent upon the oppression of people based on their skin color. To provide justice, was to end those rackets, and stop the associated lucre.

Reducing, and then silencing, MLK failed. So the government replaced the skin color rackets with the "civil-rights" and reverse-discrimination rackets. The lie went on and the lucre still flowed, and government became more vigilant and violent against the truth and justice seekers.

An American, not US subject.

"Government starts as a lie backed by violence, and then only violence backed by lies."

Read attentively, and it becomes clear the letter is a fraud:

Speaking for "us Negros", but using twisted sophistication such as "any where near your equal", correct quoting "your 'honorary' degrees" and then getting all names capitalized correctly - that letter is really a funny example of a white person struggling to use mean language!

The letter may have been more credible at the time because this was written back in the days when blacks were MUCH more likely than now to be literate and articulate.  In fact, those were days when you could use the terms "literate and articulate" in front of black people, and they wouldn't assume you were trying to express some racial insult.

So much for judging character instead of skin.

Liberals and their accomplices in the media use racial strife as a permanent weapon.

Turns out that really was only a dream after all.
