This Is What Is Really Taking Place Behind The Scenes Of The Second US-Russian Cold War
It appears John Kerry is at it again. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says the US Secretary of State called on him to "pay no mind" to a statement by President Obama, in which Russia was included to a list of top global threats. Seeking Russia's cooperation in Iran and on the Korean Peninsula, Kerry told Lavrov to "forget about" what Obama said. As US foreign policy credibility dissolves, we leave it to Lavrov to conclude, "it is flippant," he jabs, "it’s not appropriate for a powerful country to have such a consumer attitude to its partners - where you’re needed, help us; where you’re not, obey us."
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says US Secretary of State John Kerry called on him to “pay no mind” to a statement by President Obama, in which Russia was included to a list of top global threats.
President Obama voiced the three most significant global threats at the UN General Assembly in September. Ebola topped his list, followed by “Russian aggression in Europe.” In third place was the threat represented by the Islamic State extremist group.
"The first time I took note of the listing of threats that President Obama took the liberty of doing was when I spoke at the UN General Assembly. Some time later, talking to John Kerry not so long ago, I asked him what it was supposed to mean. He said: "Forget about it".
He said "forget about it" because at that moment he wanted to discuss how we would coordinate our approaches toward resolving the [problem of the] Iranian nuclear program and the situation on the Korean Peninsula," Lavrov said during a regular 'government hour' hearing at the State Duma on Wednesday.
"You see, it's unseemly for a major and great power to take such a consumerist approach toward its partners. Where we need you, please help me, and where I want to punish you, obey me," he said.
* * *
Not exactly the angry picture of cold-war-ism that Obama projects to the outside world as 'costs' are imposed on Europe!!
Do nothing stupid!!
* * *
Obama: "So how did you like that whole "costs" part? Was it too much? I think they bought it."
Vladimir: "You have been fantastic. Truly flexible, and so persuasive: I almost believed it myself. Great job comrade."

The problem with U.S. foreign is that the Zionist Neocons who run things aren't clear on what benefits Israel the most, which is their only concern. As soon as they become clear on what's best for Israel and what Netanyahu wants, then things will become more focused.
kerry also politely asked lavrov to ignore the heavy eastward migration of NATO bases, the CIA backed coup in ukraine, and US attempts to frame russia for MH17.
that's just real politik, I'm sure Putin can appreciate.
If Kerry thinks Obama is an idiot and kerry is about as intelligent as a goat fucking a turtle.. then this can't end well for us.
I take exception to the besmirchment of goats. Goats are useful creatures. Obama and Kerry, not so much.
Think of it this way. You might get to fuck a turtle for free.
PS Navy/Marine joke.
Know why the Navy no longer has goats aboard ships? Because they have Marines.
That's bait,,, but I ain't going for it!
Navy, You're more fucked up than a left handed football bat.
Have not laughed that hard in a while, thanks.
It's okay. They aren't the ones in charge.
You had me with: "If Kerry thinks".
The US and NATO crowd Russia's borders, start overthrows of good neighbor freely elected governments in favor of folks hostile to the East and then have the unmitigated gall to say that Russia is an aggressor.
I read comments around the internet and that agressor shit has worked. Everyone says that russia invaded ukraine, took crimea by force, etc. It's amazing how well the progaganda has worked.
wait, so Russia didn't invade and annex Crimea? And Russian troops aren't in Ukraine?
Yeah, these people sure are brainwashed.
Nope. They already had a naval base in Crimea with tens of thousands of personnel. They didn't need to invade. Then they called an election, in a population which is 90%+ ethnic Russian and asked them if they wanted to be Russian or Ukrainian. No annexation required.
I mean do you remember tanks moving, masses of troop movements? air support? shooting? Bombing? anything at all?
Duuuude, Ukraine has kinda been a part of Russia for a while now.
Let's all go invade Alaska. Oh, fuck, we can't, they're already a part of "US"
It's not working where it matters..
Kerry was for Putin before he was against Putin.
Someone needs to put this jackass on a swift boat and send him up the Volga with an Israeli flag up his ass and his hair on fire.
you sound like your canadian.
Yeah. Dat 'air on fire always gibs dem away, eh?
Kerry told Lavrov to "forget about" what Obama said.
First smart thing Kerry's said in a long time.
Really, it's good advice in regards to anything Obama says because it's either going to be a lie, a contradiction of a previous statement or completely irrelevant to what he is actually plotting. Note that being option #2 or #3 does not preclude them from also being lies.
Kerry told Lavrov to "forget about" what Obama said.
Yeah Sergei!!! Trust this guy, this guy or maybe this guy!!!!!!!
Go Long John!!!!!!!!!!!
Obolas a flippant smart arse
Sociopaths can be quite charming when they need something from you.

You missed that Ukraine was a US Victoria "Fuck the EU" Nuland .gov created situation in the first place.
Yeah you got that right
Kerry sabotaging Obama again in revenge for being humiliated by Obama twice
He knew Lavrov would say that in public.
"You fucked me Lurch."
"Not literally."
You know what I mean."
"Hey, 5 years ago, you'd be getting coffee for me and Slick Willie, so shut up, boy george."
Fools playing fools games. In a matter of time Obama and Kerry will be the punchline of every joke in Moscow.
Meanwhile, Obama, Democrats, RINOs, State Dept and the rest sell out the American people every minute of every day.

Russia Prepares For Ukraine Blitzkrieg As Putin Vows He Won’t Let Nazis Win
A truly ominous Ministry of Defense (MoD) readiness report circulating in the Kremlin today is apparently showing that the Southern Military District is in the final preparations for a blitzkrieg attack upon the eastern regions of Ukraine in order to protect its Russian speaking citizens from annihilation at the hands of the neo-Nazi led and Obama regime backed government in Kiev.
Blitzkrieg (German for “lightning war”) is an anglicized term describing a method of warfare whereby an attacking force spearheaded by a dense concentration of armored and motorized or mechanized infantry formations, and heavily backed up by close air support, forces a breakthrough into the enemy's line of defense through a series of short, fast, powerful attacks; and once in the enemy's territory, proceeds to dislocate them using speed and surprise, and then encircle them.
“Frankly speaking, we are very concerned about any possible ethnic cleansings and Ukraine ending up as a neo-Nazi state. What are we supposed to think if people are bearing swastikas on their sleeves? Or what about the SS emblems that we see on the helmets of some military units now fighting in eastern Ukraine? If it is a civilized state, where are the authorities looking? At least they could get rid of this uniform, they could make the nationalists remove these emblems.”

Bonzai guy forgot something in that pic - the horse tail, descending over Kerry's forehead (in the ass-crack) and swept to the left as it lays down upon his left shoulder.
And the horse tail should not be one of those lovely flowing clean ones, but one with raggedy snarled hair with shitballs caked in it....
That way Kerry's mouth will look more like what it actually is - a horse's shithole.
Ha, you have quite a way with words. Truthful too
SWhy are you so hard on Kerry? He made a little faux pas is all. I'm sure the nice people in CIA black ops will adjust his programming soon. They get that way you know, their mental compartments get confused, and they "forget about" each others screw ups. Be gentle on him, feed him ketchup.

Putin is a tyrant, but one I can tolerate. I don't even know who/what Barry is or believes. He is Jell-O.
Acetinker:
"Putin is a tyrant, but one I can tolerate"
Putin presides over an authroitarian system. Dead wrong to say he's a tyrant. Yeltsin, whom we said was a democrat, sent tanks against the democratically elected Russian parliament, ruled by decree and stole the 1996 presidential election outright. Putin has done nothing as tyranical as that.
Solzhenitsyn said Russia had to pass through an authoritrarian phase before transitioning from totalitarianism to democracy. I think we was right about that. In any case, that's what's happening now.
Putin has surrounded himself with people like Lavrov and Glazyev. Putin has deposed oligarchs. IMHO, there are more oligarchs to depose, and Putin doesn't much care where on earth they reside.
This world, filled with stupid peoples, desperately needs a benevolent tyrant.
V. V. Putin fills that bill.
There is a war going on and Russia is under attack by the US who are acting under tribal instruction. That tribe been feeding on that country for a long time and they want back an in. Russia needs a strong general right now who has the peoples interests at heart not a fluffy hypocrite "democratic" faggot like what the US has.
Do you even know what mission the General has? Do you know what the one thing the General does not worry about is the Peoples feelings and opinions?
Virgin Fag
Solzhenitsyn and VVPutin understood same.
Putin Administration know the history.
At least, he is a "tyrant" with 80+% (of Russian population) approval rate and minding his country best interest...
Yeah Jorgen, but understand (and by that I don't mean that you must stand under) my thinking.
Putin is a tyrant, but he is a tyrant who I can find agreement with.
Actually, I hope he shortly wipes Kiev off the map. It'd be cool if he simultaneously could arrange for Victoria Nuland and Geoffrey Pyatt to be caught up in some kind of sex scandal.
Don't rule it out.
A tyrant who controls media and yet you belueve the polls? Also what would be rating if public had freedom of speach and opposition was allowed to critises Putin? And Bush also had high raiting when started invasion in Iraq...
oh and USA has a "free media"?
Do you REALLY believe what you write? You are becoming more and more incoherent, babbling total BS.
Vied preferes New World Order to what he perceives of as Putin's Old World Order. I'm sure among his friends he calls himself "progressive".
why don't you just look the word up in a dictionary rather than giving us you BS opinion of its definition.
how old are you anyway?
Or maybe, five years of unimpeded real median wage growth tend to do that to approval ratings, even of 'tyrants'?
-Which "John Kerry"?
I think that they think that people cannot tell that there is more than one person wearing that ugly John Kerry wig.

"MONEY!?!", isis (muslim [mb] brotherhood?), levant(syria, lebanon, and iraq), russia and turkey?
turkey is 100% behind egypts`mb, and russia is 100% against the terrorist organization. mubarak=sisi... both anti-mb [sharia law], both general's believe in the separation of church and state via a democratic republic.
nasser [perhaps the equivalent to america's george mb for their violent [terrorist extremist] fanaticism. needless to say nasser executed its leaders for trying to assasinate him. interesting how nasser met his death??? the most hated man in the middle [me] east by the imperialistic powers (france, britain, turkey, and ussa)!
during ww2 turkey (ww1 axis partner!) was a sympathetic to vichy france and the german's,... yet never proven-- nor russian friendly geographically. now remember this has only been 70 years ago, but old habits never die, even though russia and turkey seem to get along better today (think caucasus/ chechen rebels)?
back in the late 50's the pan-arabianism (syria/ the lebanon, saudi [sa] arabia and egypt?) bloc wanted to boycott the french, remembering how the ussa lend-lease program provided the vichy with armaments/weaponry to fight the germans/italy... and later turned them on syria and, the lebanon. think how the ussa leaves weapons [similar?] with the iraqi army [shit pay/ not trained/ no allegiance, a half-ass gendarmerie] in an area fraught with hostilities well before isis was acknowledged?
syria[lebanon], egypt, sa all anti-hashimite or iraq-syrian?union? why would syrian partner with iraq? an imperialistic puppet government? the levant countries were under the french doctrine of divide and conquer through arcane outdated mandates. why is syria and the lebanon so valuable? their land is the fertile crescent with ~ 35% totally prime agricultural land. their livestock is of great vaue, with plenty of water, that is they are coveted by the entire me for their independence and freedom. yes, freedom! please note that hezbollah is not a movement or organization but a member of the parliament-- they are political activist in which israel can attest to!?!
now with this little bit of history that never ever changes, i'd like to make a comparitive situation that happened approx. 59 yrs. ago. sa wanted the oil-tapline (?ipc?) badly!, via lebanon, syria ([btw note: syria/lebanon were independent free countries post ww2 now!-- neither appreciated turkey and remained very distant from the ottoman's, for the past/. present turk's aggressive treachery) jordan [transjordan] and sa. this also included the (ipc) iraqi [turkish] petroleum company. lebanon and syria both at the time felt shackled by france [think sa today, breaking from opec?] which never ever wanted to give [sykes-picot forever, but the british made hay with the suez and iraq/ kuwait] them up, period!
russia's foreign [fm] minister shepilov visits egypt (note2: july/1956 suez canal nationalized] during june/1956 [ nasser wants money to build the high-aswan dam using the communist which they agreed to finance the high-dam, no-strings attached... but, he, nasser hated the communist? needless to say he was playing the ussa/ britain v. ussr against each other] but it goes nowhere. during the same month russian fm shepilov visits syria [makes hay with sryian gov't on strategic port] and moves on to talks with lebanon regarding algeria and palestine. the lebanese pressed the issue for their [russian] definite stand, yet documentation show the russian pm avoided the issue. algeria was under french protectorate and the palestinian issue was paramount to pan-arabianism. here's the kicker regarding "MONEY"? shortly after his return to mother russia, pm`shepilov concluded a contractural agreement, unbeknowst to said above party's to supply israel with $20 million dollars of crude oil annually...
now, what the fuck does the ussa care about ukraine when nazi lovin... `victoria the nuland', said,... 'fuck the eu!' which, obviously she meant literally. isis is nothing more than a collective of west africa/ north africa and mb's fighting for a caliph that belongs in sa? but, sa today is pure satanic... so sa should be scared shitless, for the road through the hinterland of turkey, lebanon's four parallel regions running parallel to the sryian desert with a direct [isthmus] bridge into saudi arabia. such an easy trek for desert foxes once familiar with their surroundings, and trained/ financed by bandar-bush?
as far as ebola is concerned? think the region in which it started with boko-haram/ tuareg, west africa's al`qaeda.

In Rostov-on-Don, a Russian port city of 1.1 million people just east of the Ukrainian border, signs of the fallout from the ruble’s collapse are everywhere.
There’s the 27-year-old entrepreneur whose storage facility is packed to the ceiling with imported Spanish tiles that his clients can’t afford anymore. There’s the accountant who had a front tooth pulled, only to realize she didn’t have enough money to pay for the imported implant needed to fill the gap. And there’s the interior designer who’s resigned herself to getting no year-end bonus after watching sales plunge at the European furniture store she works in.
While President Vladimir Putin boasts of how his government has been cautious about spending its foreign reserves to defend the ruble, the decision not to pursue a more active approach is adding to the inflation surge that’s throttling the Russian economy. In southern cities like Rostov-on-Don, where wages don’t match those in Moscow, the pain is more evident: electronics stores, apparel shops and restaurants are emptier, and billboards appealing to cash-strapped shoppers dot the downtown landscape.
“Nobody is buying,” Alyona Romanenko, the interior designer at House and Decor, said as she waited idly for customers to show up on a recent weekday. With the ruble tumbling 23 percent against the euro and 30 percent against the dollar this year, she said her boss has been raising prices constantly to keep pace. She estimates about half the clients she’d been advising on furniture purchases recently have postponed their orders. “My customers are in bad shape right now and so am I,” Romanenko said.
Vladimir Putin, Russia's president, stands for a family photograph at the G-20 summit in Brisbane, Australia, on Nov. 15, 2014. In an interview with state-run Tass news service last week in which he said the drop in oil could be “catastrophic” for Russia, Putin lauded how policy makers had been spending reserves “sparingly.”
Oil PlungeThe ruble selloff that began early in the year with the Ukraine conflict -- and the international sanctions it would trigger -- has intensified as the price of oil, Russia’s biggest export, sank and the central bank took steps to allow the currency to trade more freely.
The exchange rate has dropped 13 percent in the past month to 46.7306 rubles per dollar, the worst tumble since 2009. After spending more than $70 billion of foreign reserves to slow the ruble’s decline in the first 10 months of the year, the central bank has only used $1 billion in November. No other major currency in the world has fallen more in 2014.
In an interview with state-run Tass news service last week in which he said the drop in oil could be “catastrophic” for Russia, Putin lauded how policy makers had been spending reserves “sparingly.”
Fur CoatsThe weaker currency gives his government more rubles for each dollar earned on oil exports, helping shore up the budget, but also adds to an inflation rate that’s already at a three-year high of 8 percent by driving up import prices. So far, Putin, 62, has maintained his popularity, earning an approval rating of 86 percent in a Levada Center survey of 1,600 people across Russia in September.
For Artyom Popov, the 27-year-old entrepreneur in Rostov-on-Don, the ruble devaluation has been a disaster.
Like his mother before him, Popov specializes in tracking down foreign products, ranging from fur coats to construction materials, and selling them to clients across the city.
Sales on his No. 1 product -- kitchen and bath tiles that he picks out himself in Spain -- are down 60 percent since July, Popov estimates. He’d been traveling to Spain every few months to purchase more tiles but said he has no plans to head back over anytime soon.
Missing ToothWhen clients see the price in euros, they say “it’s fine,” according to Popov. “Then I calculate that in rubles and I see it’s psychologically hard for them to pay 60 rubles for something that used to be 45,” Popov said as he maneuvered his black BMW X5 through traffic in Rostov-on-Don one afternoon this month. “They say it’s too expensive and leave.”
Sticker shock also applies to teeth repair.
After having her upper right canine tooth pulled, Ulyana Lyubyatina said she was told in early September that an implant made in Italy would cost 18,000 rubles, or about $480 at the time -- “a huge sum of money for me.”
Things only got worse from there.
A week later, the dentist’s office informed the 48-year-old accountant that it had run out of the implants and needed to reorder at a price of 24,000 rubles. Earlier this month, she said the price climbed again, to 25,000 rubles.
Unable to afford the import, yet loathe to buy a Russian-made implant that she says she wouldn’t trust, Lyubyatina is stuck with a temporary plastic tooth.
“I don’t know what to do,” she said, shouting over the traffic in downtown Rostov-on-Don as she stood in line at a bank ATM. “I hope the ruble chaos will eventually calm down. What is going on now is crazy.”
She hasn't checked the American prices for implants. One implant in the USA costs about $5,000 or more if bone graft is needed.
She doesn't want to pay $480 for an Italian implant, and I assume $50 for a Russian one.
An implant is essentially a titanium screw. I just checked eBay: 10 implants from Israel for $298, free shipping.
Should we feel sorry for her and her boss in an expensive BMW?
Putin challenges American and Dollar hegemony. Sadam Hussein and Khadaffi tried that and ended up dead. They try to take out Putin via economic warfare.
But tell me, if it wasn't for Dollar being the world's reserve currency and th credit system how would the economic situation be in the US? Would there be money for implants or fur coats?
Putin challenges US hegemony, agreed. Does that make me an instant fan of Putin? Nope.
Vlad's a thug, plain and simple. If you wish to admire a thug, be my guest.
I agree it's satisfying on some level to watch someone repeatedly put (or at least try to put) a finger in Obama's eye, but I just can't work up much enthusiasm for either Vlad or his policies. He sends his political opponents to the gulag (or worse, has them killed) and he's worked long and hard to construct a state-controlled media that reports what he wants it to report and not much else. That's too much to stomach...so I don't.
Folks on ZH profess a love of freedom, but many embrace a government and leader even more sinister than our own.
Amerikan Patriot
So you admit that the American government is sinister, but profess it to be less sinister than Russia's.
Implying, in your arch naivete, that if America can dominate Russia, Russia's sinister behavior will diminish and permit America to come out of the sinister closet and be gay again.
The truth is that when American dominates Russia, it will become exponentially more sinister than it is now. And it is plenty sinister today as we all know.
@Am Patriot = dumb ass. Go join the army and give your life for an oil company.
Vlad is a thug, eh?
Well, Obama is the one who is risking everyone with ebola, because his approval rating might suffer.
Obama is the one spying on every communication known to man, running killer drones everywhere, using forfeiture to take property on no proof of a crime, stealing trillions to give to banksters and a thousand other outrages.

Nobody is more sinster and full of total BS and lies than USA. USA has been lying about EVEYRTHING forever. You can go back as far as you wanyt and you will find USA lying but then mantianign they are better than everybody else because "freedom and democracy" That's hypocracy which is 100% worse than sinister. Pearl harbor? A lie. Gulf of Tonkin? A lie. US hostiges in Iran? A big fat lie. Iran contra affair? A big gigntic lie. Saddam? A lie! 9-11? A lie. WMD in Ireaq? A lie.
I dont think I need t continue.
Where do I say that I admire Putin? He is a thug but he is also the product of the approach the West had to Russia after the fall of communism. Cause the West sent in these cowboy capitalist consultants 'helping' Russia to transform their economy. What they did was to ruin it more. State assets worth billions were sold for millions or less. Then profitable parts were stripped and the rest was declared bankrupt. Millions lost their jobs, pensions and investments and a happy few got extremely rich.
There were cases -and I kid you not- where 'investors' such as Obramovic and Ibrahimovic (or whatever they were called) were brought into a room, assets were written on pieces of cardboard and swirled around the table. Then lights went off and people could make a grab. What they were left standing with when the lights went on again is what they got. And then they went to strip it and ruined what was left.
In 1988 the SU had 2% poverty rate. In 1996 is was 25%. Russia lost 40% of its GDP. The only time that happened before was during WWII. Soviet economy was perhaps not efficient but transition ruined it. Goeffrey Sachs said it was done deliberately to destroy Russia further. Putin put an end to that. He put oligarchs in jail or otherwise destroyed them. He made sure the State would be oligarch nr. 1 again.
Is he a thug? Absolutely. But the West had a chance to bring Russia and the rest of the former SU into the fold after the collapse of the SU. But the West was greedy and wanted it all, meaning complete control over Eurasia. Putin challenges that. He challenges dollar and West (mostly US) hegemony. Saddam Hussein and Ghaffi challenged the West and they are dead. Putin might be a fish too big though. But Putin might be overplaying his hand. We will see.
Putin controls Russia and the population is used to hardship. I wonder if people in West can swallow hardship. But instead of solving the real problems of this world: energy problems, environmental problems, feeding the world, etc. the superpowers of the world are playing their geopolitical games.
VV Putin Administration is Defender and Builder......if strong and bother not others, not thug

self-rightous little twit aren't you.
why not get out of the cellar for a bit and see the world you're living in.
or many just read a few of the ZH articles.
pathetic. lol
Failed with the "Gulag".....you are not very smart
You know nothing about Russia
Get back to me when there is actual reporting about inflation in the US. Then I'll take the comparative stories of Russia seriously. In any event, this is a long-term game. World-wide economics is game of "who can chase the lowest inflation" at this point until the dollar capsizes.
try getting your head around these nums before you start calling the pot black.

Economist World Debt Comparison by Country
http://www.economist.com/content/global_debt_clock/
compare USSA vs Russian Federation
Also, someone said take US student debt deliquent total and divide by whole US population is significant by itself
You go on, like many others in the West, about Russia's rouble troubles as if that were a catastrophe for Russia. You talk about teeth implants and Spanish tiles. What you do not understand (and really need to!) is that the vast numbers of Russian's who form the basis of Putin's popularity and power are not middle and upper class Muscovites, but hardworking, poor to lower middleclass ordinary people who rarely buy anything imported. The Russian economy is not nearly the consumer economy people like you tend to think it is - you can't understand an economy built upon hard work and buying only what one needs to get by. Indeed, that is the major problem of the US and its vassal empire - they rely fundamentally on consumerism and debt to live beyond their means and simply can not understand that there could possible exist another paradigm. Consequently, they are trapped in an economy that MUST ALWAYS grow, or they will be destroyed. Russia is not like that. They pay as they go. If they can't buy it, they make it. That is why the country is an export country, not an import country like the US. This is why Russia's debt to gdp is so low. This is why their gold holdings and foreign reserves are so high.
The US sanctions will hurt the Russian economy, at least temporarilly, but it won't by any means be a knockout blow to the country. A relatively few people will suffer. The vast majority will stand behind their leader as he finds alternative markets all over the world and leaves the EUSA behind in the dustbin of history, bankrupt, over-extended, third-world countries with no hope of returning to a real life. And in the end the American consumer such as yourself will treat a visit to Walmart like a trip to Harrod's in London - some place to view items of desire, but far out of your reach financially.
Russia, China and the East will overtake the Atlanticists represented by the USA and Europe today. They are the future. Your country is the past.
damn good post
Russians do not spend monies they do not have normally..
bored and petty
was that bloomberg?
Oh yeah, I always believe the foreign minister from any country to truthfully report what was said between heads of state. There is always a script, an agenda, an audience. And then there is this page, that can't decide what version of the world to believe in this week, or at least the commentariat. Putin is a psycho on a mission and POTUS is working someone elses agenda. I for one, would like to grow old, and not starve under a soot filled sky after the exchange is completed.
New bomb drills under wooden desks.
Maybe Kerry and Obama are playing good cop/bad cop? But they are still cops.
You have to be stupid not to see Zerohedge agenda and how objective it is and who is behind this information asset for english readers.
Well layout your plan for USA.
First of all - bot US oligarch regime & Putin oligarch regime are criminal. Both doesn't respect nor international law nor independece of othat nations.
Now, what Putin oligarch regime wants with it's propoganda assets as ZH is to make West be informed how criminal are US oligarch regime but not to know how criminal is Putin oligarch regime. That way to make supporters for Putin oligarch regime and when it attacks other countries like in Ukraine - there would not be a support for opposition of Putin oligarch regime on world stage. That is the main purpose. To do that Putin oligarch regime uses this tactic:
I will repeat this post because in my opinion it’s important to open eyes those who have good intention in their heart but have been misled by elite / regimes of different sides. How I see things is I look at what government is doing – looking at its work, methods and results. And from there it’s basically two sides: those who work in good of common people and protect their individual rights & freedoms, and those who manipulate their people take their rights away and work for elite benefits. Now you look from that perspective and you are going around in so called “alternative media” as this (which actually is not alternative at all – but about that little later) than I’m sure you are aware about US oligarch regime crimes and that they are not working for the people. What you are lacking in information at some sites is about other elites / regimes / oligarchs and how they treat their people. So because of this lack of information you can be easily manipulated to think that there is only one evil elite that rules west and others can be looked at as opposition to this evil – so automatically they are the good guys VS evil west. Well it’s not so at all. If you go back to what I started and those criteria how I divide governments – than you will realize that for example Putin oligarch regime, China elite regime – is not working for their people and is not protecting their individual rights and freedoms. They use the same tactics, the same crimes, the same manipulation in order to gain their elite more power more wealth and hides it under different banners. I’ post links about Putin regime in the end – check them out.
This manipulation with your mind is possible using different kind of channels that you think is alternative media – when actually it’s Putin regime asset for brainwashing you. Also US oligarch regime has their alternative media to brainwash you. So it’s really hard to stay focus and not to get lost in this war over your mind. But those criteria I posted can help you.
What Putin regime assets as RT, Zerohedge (because obviously it is Putin regime asset as you will not be able to find any criticism towards from this site towards actions Putin regime do to their people by limiting their freedoms, by internet censorship and of course will stay in line with Putin regime lies that they are not invading Ukraine - when there is evidence
about Putin regime tanks in Ukraine that are not in any country army but only in Russian) does is they are mixing truth with lies. You know – you have to add some sugar for bitter poison. They are well aware about US oligarch crimes and they are well aware that MSM is hiding them from people in west and they are well aware that people in west is seeking the truth that exposes these crimes – so what they do is this – they expose US oligarch regime crimes for what you are so interested in and in this way they are taking your attention and confidence to this source so that you trust them and thank them for bringing truth. And what they do then is they add their Putin regime lies that you automatically accept as truth because they were saying truth about US oligarch regime crimes (not always though). So this is the way they mix truth with lies in order to make you think from their perspective. If they add more paid trolls than mostly this scheme will work and people will live under Putin regime brainwashing machine. So now you know. Now it’s a choice for you to think this trough and start looking at information more with critical thinking. Yes, world is not so simple as we think.
Here are some links to look at and think of if you are cheering for Putin regime:

At home Putin has now full control over information flow and no real opposition is allowed. They all suddenly is being arested, jailed for "criminal actions". All media must be controled by state.
But in Russia there is no oppositon, because everyone loves Putin regime, children with their uncles sing about Putin glory:

If some political opposition appears than he get's arrested and jailed:

If some russians starts to speak against regime then get's arrested:

You must be mad not to love dear leader Kim jong... I mean... Putin, all media loves him becuase all media... well is owned by Putin regime:
All three TV channels are controlled by the state: the majority share of Channel One belongs to Rosimuschestvo (the Federal Agency for State Property Management). Other shareholders include National Media Group (controlled by the structures of Yuri Kovalchuk, Chairman of the Board of Rossiya Bank, one of the largest banks in Russia, and Vladimir Putin’s personal friend; and Roman Abramovich, owner of Chelsea football club and Putin’s ally). Rossiya 2 is a part of VGTRK (All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company) which is owned by Rosimushchestvo. NTV is also controlled by the state through Gazprom Media. TNT and Pyatiy Kanal that come respectively fourth and fifth in the top TV channels by audience reach, are also controlled by the state. TNT belongs to Gazprom Media, while Channel 5 is controlled by National Media Group.

And if anyone tries to sneak in with truth using internet .. well than Putin regime iron fist is also there:

That is why in Russia there is allways at power "dear leader" Putin.

This is democracy ZH supports in it's propoganda lies.
viedoklis_lv you provide a fresh perspective and I guess you are very intelligent as I sense you probably speak English as a second language.
It has been 30 years since someone described the East German Stasi (Ministry for State Security) or Soviet Ideology. It is now transferred to USA under domestic Spying. Of course the Chinese have proven the strongest state can survive and continue as Leadership of a country... they Beta Tested Totalitarianism.
One partner for you is Amnesty International, who see all governments as Corrupt.
Sorry, I haven't checked links yet.
Yes, english is not my native language. I'm Latvian but I understand both english & russian - that is why I can understand both information sides in this conflict over Ukraine.
I've been whole circle from being pro-US, than awekening about US oligarch regime and that is not run by people, than to alternative media, than awekening that many alternative media are run by same oligarchs, than to ZH supporter than realising that it'' actually part of Putin oligarch regime propoganda asset. So I learn everyday - reality changes. :)
I had a boss in USA from Lithuania who was US Marine at one time, He cussed smoked, yelled, and never ate US style cake... since it is sweet and drinkers tend not to like sweet things.
You may be more informed than me though I worked in the system for a time.
In USA it seems Wealthy people can use organizations to hide their involvement.
I submit this is PROOF of Fascism. US Shell companies, or their Panama or off-shore Shell companies are proof.
Actually, it is a Right or Wrong Decision for US Congress... Are Off shore or inshore Shell companies okay? Right or Wrong?
If shell companies are okay... then let me do it for my Taxes!!
OK. Russian oligarchs are trying to manipulate the truth. Western and US oligarchs are trying to manipulate the truth. Now I just posted this on ZH. How is ZH pro Russian since I am able to freely post this? Obviously you are unaware of what freedom of speech is and that is what ZH represents.
Because you can give view on one topic from different sides. But ZH as RT only give one sided view all the time when it comes to Putin oligarch regime interests. That shows they are not objective regarding Putin regime.
And it's not only one sided - it's also lot of lies that Putin regime state media feeds to their people and is not revealed by ZH. For example how Russian TV stated that Ukranians fight in Donbass to get each 2 slaves. That is most stupid thing ever imagined - but was reported by major Russian state TV. Also how one guy was cought in 3 material as 3 different actors - it is not revealed by ZH. Why?
I already posted enough links of topics that should be covered here if ZH wanted to spread truth. But it have not revealed those topics about Russia - cesorship, media control, oppresion of opposition, human right issue, stealing from social funds, etc.
Ever heard of a Mind Fuck?
Your Focus may be too broad in focus on Putin. We can't take out Putin... most of us.
But chose your next home country... Russia, Fiji, Ecuador, Panama, Switzerland, USA. And post solutions beside your Watchdog type news items.
I think about having a Watchdog website or Video... but I tend to have sleep problems, drinking problems.

time to downvote you again. man I wish they paid me to do this, the same way they pay you to shill.
No wonder you hate Putin so muhc, you idiots have been hating the Russians forecer If you understand both Russian then you'd be abelt o very easily know who is lying and spreadign lies and propaganda and it aint Putin.
But since yuou keep on saying Putin is the enemy then i ave to conclude you are obviously a total moron or just so blinded by your hatred you cant see who really is lying. If Putin wanted Ukraine, he would have had it by now. Just this fact by itself shows who is the bad guy and who is the lier.
And that is the 'latvian' way, the Kievan Yatzis create a situation and later deny their doings in the creation of the situation.
Kievan Yatzi Junta citizens should stand for their unique experiment drivel and accept the consequences of it.
@vied Your problem is that you look at information and power in a vacuum. 95% of the Western mediasphere is anti-Russian, Putin-demonizing propaganda. This message is just a variable, let's say "Y". The reality of the power/knowledge equation is that Y has a multiple of power applied to it. This multiple represents a constellation of things: the saturation of Western media, the gullibility of the population, and the reach of Western soft-power.
Certainly, there is the pro-Russian, pro-Putin, anti-West viewpoint presented frequently here. This message is also just a variable, let's say Z. The reality of the power/knowledge equation is that Z has a multiple of power applied to it as as well.
The reality of power is comparing the results, not examining comparatively how much an individual publication presents Y or Z. Also, I doubt anyone here uses "democracy" as a measurement of anything, most of us know it's just a "propoganda" word at this point.
Your myopic idiocy is a result of thinking that Y and Z need to be presented side-by-side in an equal amount - otherwise brainwash. For those of us who are familiar with the multiples of power and the reality of its application, we come here to read a tiny, eentsy-weentsy, multiple to the Z message. It barely makes a dent in the massive power advantage enjoyed by the pro-Western message, yet you're butthurt about it because you see things in the vacuum of your mother's basement and demand we give fair time to the massive giant stomping across the globe. We're adult enough to know that the situation is complex, but independent enough to be sick of the pro-US BS. Even if some posters have Putin love - I think many of us here believe that is fair enough, because the US/West deserve any revolt against it (even if it is a bit off target) for the years of abuse, terror, lies, etc.
Give it a rest troll.
P.S. All references to the US/West refer to the governments and elites in control (who likely pay Trolly Misspellovitch's salary), not to the decent people who seek to live freely in those lands.
The reality of power is comparing the results, not examining comparatively how much an individual publication presents Y or Z.
- And the Means justifies the Results? That is what the Japanese and Nazis said in WWII
- Jesuits are big on Results versus humanity, torture versus humane treatment, and whipping versus tolerance, Destruction versus Indigenous Culture
- I guess you support the Iraqi War & Vietnam War
- You refuse to acknowledge Historical False Flags, Secret Armies, and Covert Political Geopolitics
Wow, I never met A VIRGIN ON ZEROHEDGE before, get a few history books Junior
"...bot US oligarch regime & Putin oligarch regime are criminal. Both doesn't respect nor international law nor independece of othat nations."
You should have left it at that and everybody would agree with you.
Posting yards of paid-for propaganda doesn't help your case.
you know, i think ridiklos_lv is a bit jealous of all the attention Putin is getting and no one even knows where latvia is on the map.

"The other club" :)
Don't worry, from the color of your speech, it is clear that you are a US citizen.
Obama, I would think is the person that comment should be aimed at. Why no mention of Putins speech in Austrailia? He condemned the west for it's PC and flipant attitude to Paedophiles. He also condemned Multicultuerism, stating there is no place in his Russia for this. If people want to come [to Russia] they must abide by her laws and not try to make or input their own!
Russia has a bad PR, because the people have been brainwashed, the Russia we see under Putin, is totally different from the old USSR [CCCP] There's a very good story here; http://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=8159
bored
"You have to be stupid not to see Zerohedge agenda and how objective it is"
Surely transparency's a good thing. No?
"...and who is behind this information asset for english readers."
Do tell(!)
Any sign of a break between Kerry, a genuine member of the ruling class (albeit by marriage, but he was a Bonesman), and Obama, a high-level CIA functionary, has the potential of pulling back the curtain on some significant conflicts at the top. Just sayin'...
Funny thing is that in Latvia - some people thouht I'm Kremlin payed troll because I revealed US oligarch regime crimes and lies about Libya, Syria, 9/11, etc.. But in Zerohedge some people think I'm US payed troll because I reveal Putin oligarch regime crimes in Ukraine & Russia.
:)
That is actually funny... for me of course.
Why I post here only about Putin oligarch regime crimes and there only about US oligarch regime crimes?
Because there should be a ballance about both regime crimes. Here are plenty of materials revealing US oligarch regime crimes and none about Putin. And in West are plenty of materials revealing Putin oligarch regime lies & crimes but none (in MSM) about US oligarch regime.
So I like balance.
That was a good 'latvian' opinion.
Hollow phrasing that can cover everything and anything.
Made me laugh.
here, balance this one out.
you seem to like to quote from the UK press. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/nov/17/putin-claims-west-provoking...
"Moscow has also deported Alexei Kholostov, a former Latvian MP known as an advocate of Latvia’s Russian minority, on spying allegations, the Latvian foreign ministry told Interfax news agency on Monday. In a Russian television report aired this weekend, Kholostov said on camerathat he was “in Russia on assignment for the Latvian special forces, which work under the CIA’s control”. "
funny little troll lol
Yes. I am aware of those news. That person was member of pro-Putin party in Latvia "Saskanas centrs". He has never been an agent who would be spying for Latvia. He is known as idiot who wanted to create village in Latvia with name CCCP or in English that would be USSR (for soviet union).
Of course as Latvia is approuching EU presidency 6 month - Kremlin will create these stories trying to discredit Latvia. Of course he has never been an agent - but Kremlin is doing information war and this is part of it. To create some news to discredit Latvia. That's part of information war.
What did you wanted to tell me about this?
Latvia doesn't need any help to discredit itself.
Interesting. How to confirm all of this would be more interesting.
Use google translator:
