Since Nov. 10, Fox News Channel has referenced Gruber at least 779 times on air, while MSNBC has referred to Gruber 79 times. CNN has mentioned Gruber just 27 times over the same period.

Without the implicit red/blue "Divide and conquer" stuff, I would have thought that the American people are well served by understanding the way in which they are deceived and lied to by their Government. On another note about impartiality, Courthouse News just had an article that indicates the NYPD under Bloomberg had illegally arrested hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers for possessing small amounts of pot, even though the Marijuana Reform Act of 1977 (yes, 1977) changed the penal law to make that possession a civil offense akin to a traffic ticket. Yet not one New York newspaper ever mentioned that fact and no New York City DA or Criminal Court judge followed the law in prosecuting these cases.
The only problem for de Blasio is that he knows that Bloomberg and his corrupt police commissioner Ray Kelly sanctioned more than one million illegal arrests for pot possession over 10 years, as Courthouse News just reported. The law in New York since 1977 was that possessing small amounts of pot was a civil, not criminal violation.Courthouse News: Though it has been law of the land in the Big Apple since 1977, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio last week announced what he called a "new policy" - making possession of less than 25 grams of marijuana a violation, rather than a misdemeanor. CNN found a 6th video which is the most damning of all. Gruber states that the Cadillac tax is designed to start out as a tax on 8% of health plans but they chained the increase to CPI expecting health care to rise faster than CPI so that eventually all private health plans would be Cadillac plans and be taxed. Unfortunately the story is buried under snow in the north and a flood of immigrants in the south.

Gruber took over 5 million dollars from taxpayers in Obamacare contracts, was a key stategist in the Obamacare fiasco, and all of the top Democrats parroted his name as some kind of demigod expert in healthcare for years. The many different videos of Gruber in many different settings was a big part of what FOX broadcast.
NBC and ABC haven't mentioned it at all. CBS once. This story is now 2 weeks old and every network should be in the 3 digit count mentioning Gruber by now.
The issue is not how many times FOX mentioned Gruber's actions over 40 hours of prime time shows, but how the absence of coverage at ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN. All of them have failed their basic premise of honestly brokering information. That is the real story.

Nixon was essentially impeached and forced from office for "lying to the American People" about a petty burglary. That the current incumbent, a pathological liar, with respect to issues far more central to the everyday life and property of said American People remains in office, defended by his party and its media hatchetmen, confirms just how corrupted our corporate/political system has become. The media is what we depend upon to give light tot he truth and to corruption. We only get to vote every two years and even then these votes most often only reflect what media presents. We can control media as they still rely on us for their incomes, which we control every minute of every day. Until we can force them to be honest brokers, the number of political parties is meaningless. Ron Paul could not even get on the stage of media and as such, republicans were under no pressure to give him consideration. A third party will do nothing if media chooses to ignore it.
Fox news has been the first real competition to the main stream media, but as they have grown they have also been compromised. We need more media outlets, more perspectives, more truth.
Each station of network TV gets far more of an audience than is had by any cable network on account of it being free TV, of course. There is no network news alternative besides that of the main stream liberal media for those without cable TV. In no way do we affect what media presents on network TV simply because they all offer up the same misinformation.
