President Obama To Dictate Immigration Executive Order In Vegas On Friday

Tyler Durden's picture

While what normally happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas; President Obama's decision to dictate his Immigration Executive Order from sin city will likely have repurcussions across the entire nation. As NY Times reports, Obama is preparing to use his executive authority to provide work permits for up to five million people who are in the US illegally, and to shield them from deportation. But these new arrivals will not receive one key benefit: government subsidies for health care available under Obamacare. The immigrants would also be unlikely to receive benefits like food stamps, Medicaid coverage or other need-based federal programs offered to citizens and to some legal residents. "The costs of extending these programs to millions of low-wage illegal immigrants would be enormous," said Senator Jeff Sessions "this is yet another danger posed to Americans by the president’s unconstitutional action."

As AP reports,

A Democratic official says President Barack Obama will visit Las Vegas on Friday.

The trip comes amid anticipation that the president will announce executive orders on immigration as soon as this week. Obama used a stop in Las Vegas in 2013 to outline his blueprint for immigration legislation.

Legislation passed in the Senate, but gained no traction in the Republican-led House. Obama announced this summer that he would instead move forward with executive action on immigration, but delayed the measures until after the midterm election.

People familiar with the president's proposals say the policy could shield from deportation as many as 5 million people in the country illegally, and grant them work permits.

The official insisted on anonymity because this person wasn't authorized to confirm the president's trip by name.

But, as The NY Times reports, it appears the immigrants won't get the entire largesse of American dependency...

Millions of undocumented immigrants who are set to be granted a form of legal status by President Obama as early as this week will not receive one key benefit: government subsidies for health care available under the Affordable Care Act.

Mr. Obama is preparing to use his executive authority to provide work permits for up to five million people who are in the United States illegally, and to shield them from deportation. But an official familiar with the administration’s deliberations said on Tuesday that such people would not be eligible for subsidized, low-cost plans from the government’s health insurance marketplace, HealthCare.gov.

...

The decision would reflect the political sensitivities that arise when there is a collision between two of the most divisive issues in Washington: health care and immigration. It would also underline the White House preference for not risking the fury of conservative lawmakers who have long opposed providing government health care to illegal immigrants, and who fought intensely to deny such immigrants coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

...

But a White House decision to deny health care benefits to the immigrants would also fall far short of the kind of full membership in American society that activists have spent decades fighting for. The immigrants would also be unlikely to receive benefits like food stamps, Medicaid coverage or other need-based federal programs offered to citizens and to some legal residents.

However, Sylvia Mathews Burwell, the secretary of health and human services,  said that

federal aid — including health care benefits — could be available to children who are United States citizens but living with parents who are illegal immigrants. Such so-called mixed families “should not be scared,” she said, because they may be eligible for coverage and financial assistance.

We leave it to Senator Jeff Session of Alabama - the senior Republican on the Senate Budget Committee to conclude:

"The costs of extending these programs to millions of low-wage illegal immigrants would be enormous... This is yet another danger posed to Americans by the president’s unconstitutional action."

“It is plain that President Obama has no authority to grant lawful status to those declared unlawful by the duly passed laws of the United States,” he said. “Nor does the president have any authority to declare such individuals eligible to receive health benefits that have been restricted to lawful residents.”

This is about destroying rule of law, which was part of our culture, back when we had something like a common culture. There is now hardly any popular culture. Rather in its place we have a multitude of impopular, mutually exclusive competing cultures. The left started tearing down the culture many decades ago. Its last underpinnings, the rule of law, the constitution, limits on executive branch power, are under attack now, by Alinsky's own harbinger of Lucifer here below. Said harbinger cares not a whit for the Hispanic vote, the downtrodden, etc. They are a means to destroy the USA. Come on people. This is who Obama is. This is what he does.

No because ACA is crap and Barry immigration plans includes full free healthcare and education (http://www.naturalnews.com/047004_illegal_immigrants_free_education_bord...)

. Illegals are already "above" the law. They can commit theft, murder and rape and get released with any charges (http://cis.org/ICE-Document-Details-36000-Criminal-Aliens-Release-in-2013).

As far as the dirty webacks and their ills.....white folk have been doing this for far longer than the brown skin.  But we certainly don't need to add to the problem.

Beyond that.....this whole debate is just a continuation of the shredding of the Constitution and the rule of Law.  It also makes a mockery and a sham of citizenship.  It's not about working in common cause for principles higher than our individual or collective base attributes any more.  It's simply about manpower for the Corporatist Machine.

Every day I get more like George Carlin.  I've just checked out mentally and emotionally from the system and now look at it with a sort of amusement.  Because I don't have the soul space anymore to mourn over it.  I'd be in a constant state of deep mourning every waking moment.....and I've got better things to do with my time.  Like taking care of my family and educating them about the Matrix they have all been born into.

White folks have been killing people longer than our more melanin rich southern neighbors.

But with the importation of so many 3rd worlders, we are fast becoming a third world culture.

Sorry, but the Mexican/Latino culture is dirty as fuck.  One that I can see on a daily basis if I so choose.

The problem is that with more and more of them here, there are fewer and fewer areas you can go to avoid it.

Many areas of the country have zero clue as to how dirty this culture is.

I also know many Hispanic women, and they are all very nice.  Of course, many of them were probably illegals and escaped their hellholes so that puts them into a pretty good mood.

Also know two adopted kids from Honduras.  Most well adjusted kids you could ever meet. They are being raised by two women to boot.

It isn't WHO they are, it is the 3rd world culture that is disgusting. Some try and leave that behind, and I have no problems with that.

The ones who try to bring it with them are the ones I have a problem with.  And as it stands now, they are too many to count.

Government cannot be "compassionate." Government is force.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Government has no monies which weren't taken from the people first.

No different than me stealing from a rich guy and giving some of what was stolen to a poor guy.  Would I be considered compassionate, or merely a thief?

How "equitable" and "just" is this to those who have labored years to try and come here through the proper channels?

Serious question.

Well, I have gotten to know some illegals.  Most of the women are very good people.

I do agree that you cannot just rip families apart where some are citizens and some are illegals.
But, before you do this little one off, you can nail shut the border to stop the hordes of them STILL coming.

Then you would not have enough of an immigrant population where they can set up enclaves and little 3rd world areas of cities. They would assimilate into the melting pot that is America.

Once you get a critical mass, areas of towns and cities become the 3rd world hellholes they ostensibly left for a better life.

Such is many areas of North Carolina right now.  If you are a woman, you cannot go to a mini-mart without being accosted by some wetback landscaper in many areas.

We are tired of it.

Drunk Motorist Hit Pedestrian, Kept Driving With Victim "Halfway Through Vehicle's Windshield"
After striking a pedestrian with his car, a drunk New Jersey man drove for more than a mile with the critically injured victim lodged in the vehicle’s windshield, investigators allege.

Responding to a report Monday of an erratic driver, an Ocean Township Police Department officer spotted an auto “with what appeared to be a person lying on the hood of the vehicle.” A cop initiated a traffic stop around 7 PM and found “a person halfway through the vehicle’s windshield,” according to prosecutors.

A subsequent investigation determined that driver Marcos Ortega, 33, struck the victim when he crossed onto the shoulder on Route 9. Cops estimated that Ortega drove “approximately 1.5 miles” with Kenneth Moeller, 61, lodged in the car’s windshield.

So....every year this story comes out.  Sometimes it's a drunk white woman.  Sometimes it's a drunk young white punk.

Of course the Media doesn't report it.  They don't want to offend the brown skin consumer base of their advertisors and also the brown skins they hire as journalists.

But let's be clear.  There was a day when only white folks had cars.  And they were doing all the killing with them.  And still do on a population percentage basis.

Don't fall for the trap of supporting your stance on enforcing Immigration Law by holding up one case or two of illegal immigrants doing something bad.  You'll get blowback from the Matrix and you won't get anywhere.

Simply hold your politician accountable for upholding the law.  Better yet.....fuck your National Congresscritter.  Go for the State level and even more importantly the local level.  In the end.....if an illegal immigrant offs a citizen in New York....I don't give a shit.  But he offs one in my community.....my county.  You better believe I will have the local politician's head on a pike come re-election time if he didn't enforce hiring practices and policing in our community.

Then pick up the gun pussy.  That's the only way to stop Obama and your government.  It certainly will not be by your vote on the National Level.  The Nation is gone.  Period.  End of Story.  The Fascist Regime of Fed/Corp (Big Gov. + Big Corp.) is permanently in place.  The only way to dislodge it is by force of arms.  That would not only take an armed citizen revolt, it would also take a Military Coup.

So go ahead and lead that charge.

Or shut the fuck up.....and build a political enclave in your local community.  That's the only recourse you have left.

The future of America for REAL Americans is to adopt the societal regime of the Amish.  That is....isolated, walled off communities of self reliance and self policing and self politics.  Local economies, with local production with local currency.  You want freedom.  Then shut the fuck up and unplug from the system entirely, get yourself or like minded people elected and remove yourself entirely from the American Fascist State.

If you need help....go talk to the Amish.  Or go visit the Native American Nations out West.

But the Illegal Hoarde is a given fact NOW and will be as long as Corporations and Elites hire them to do wage slave work.  Same with the war on drugs.  If America didn't want all the drugs of the world, the supply side would take care of itself.  If the demand for cheap wage slave labor in order to boost profits wasn't so big.....the illegal immigration problem would begin to right itself.

Politicians only do the bidding of large corporations.  Both left and right.....Democrat and Republican.  Big Business needs labor.  Big Government needs the taxes from that labor influx.  Illilegal Immigration solves all things for all parties involved.  Republicans can say they support big busieness and growth.  Democrats get a new and loyal voting block.  Once again all problems for all parties solved.

Once again for you......either pick up the gun or shut the fuck up and go EXTREME LOCAL.  You only have a limited time to secure your community and do what needs to be done.

Obama from his book "The Audacity of Hope":

“The number of immigrants added to the labor force every year is of a magnitude not seen in this country for over a century,” Obama noted. “If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers provides some benefits to the economy as a whole—especially by keeping our workforce young, in contrast to an increasingly geriatric Europe and Japan—it also threatens to depress further the wages of blue-collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net.”

Reminds me of this quote:

"But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist."

-Lysander Spooner

It brings up a very valid, and incredibly unnerving thought.  Many (myself included) have always harked about the constitution and getting back to it.

If the rules we set up for this government (constitution) did not prevent, and possibly authorized the government we have now, why go back to it?

Honest question that I don't have an answer to.

That's the fundamental revelation that brought me out of the Matrix.  I've been saying that now here for years....especially to my Libertarian brethren.

Going back to the Constitution will not settle a thing.  Humans are inately corrupt.  There is no getting around it.  No piece of paper, no law will restrain that for long.

The pendulum swings.  It swings to Liberty every now and again.  But it will eventually normalize to Tyranny in the end.  It may be the Tyranny of the Majority....or the King.....or the Despot......or the Dictator.....or the Corporation.

But make no mistake about it.  The Constitution can not nor could it ever contain the inate corruption of mankind.

We have continually voted for the government we've wanted for over 2 centuries.  At the same time....in the fashion of Quantum Physics.....we also voted for the government we DID NOT want, but did not attain, because others in larger numbers voted in the government THEY wanted.

As no matter what......others higher up than the people....the ELITE....have circumvented that with money.

As was quoted above......"The Constitution either authorized it or could not prevent it"

Welcome to the Matrix.

The U.S. Constitution is meant for a national group of people.  The direct quality of your life is governed more by your local charters and constitutions.  Better results can be obtained directly for you and yours by focusing on fixing the local political process - as was mentioned above.

That reality is part of what is meant by the phrase "all politics is local".

You have absolutely no understanding of what the US Constitution stands for as every resulting law and charter stems directly from adhering to the equality demanded by this paper. All politics is not local when tyranny is acceptable from the federal level and that's exactly what is happening. Your vote for Senator and House Rep did not matter to Obama. He's deciding he knows best and doesn't give a fuck who you voted for locally to represent your opinion.

The U.S. Constitution is meant for a national group of people.  The direct quality of your life is governed more by your local charters and constitutions.

Wrong.

When local charters and constitutions violate universal rights enumerated and guarenteed to all men at the national level, the national constitution takes precedence.

You may live local....but you are at the same time part of a nation.

Now.....if you want to SECEED in order to create a charter and / or constitution locally or regionally that may be at odds with the national constitution....well....that's a horse of a different color.   Be my guest.  Good luck.  There's a hell of a lot of words written in a hell of a lot of books about the last time that was tried.

The rules didnt allow for this.  Excessively twisted Supreme Court decisions and interpretations did.

Strip out the Commerce clause, take away the power to borrow money, use strict constructionism and allow a legislative override against Supreme Court decisions and 99% would be solved.

Article III, Section II:

" In all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a state shall be party, the Supreme Court shall have original jurisdiction. In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to law and fact, with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make."

Congress already has the power to tell the Supreme Court which regulations it has to rule under.  Congress could make a declaratory law tomorrow telling the Supreme Court HOW it can adjudicate cases involving trade between the several states, nevermind within a state.  Congress does not want to do that, because it reduces Federal power.

Which brings me back to the original Spooner declaration.

The US Constitution cannot prevent the Amurikan people from being ignorant and apathetic - which we are in spades (hopefully not so much me, but I'll throw myself in...)  It doesn't necessarily follow that the USC was bad law - perhaps somewhat ill defined.  If people had cared more in 1913 - perhaps they could have combatted the socialist Wilson from being led along by the bankstas in the creation of the FED, etc., etc. for many points along the continuum of US history.

And why have we ended up with this two headed single snake of a political party?  Why aren't there 5 viable parties that are forced by the goodness of the public square, and majority decision making toward reasonable positions, and forced to form a consensus government?  I know - it's a pariliamentary government really - but better than we have now by far.

First step - audit the FED for real.  Create the consensus then to end the FED.  Remove the funny money from politics.  Clear the legal and barriers of convention (meaning political culture - if you are under 5% in a poll, you cannot stand in the debates - that's pure poppycock BS) from the 3rd, 4th and 5th parties...Create parliamentary representation for the other parties, that will force consensus governement.

Stable prices now means 2% inflation.  So they steal half your money every 35 years, plus whatever purchasing power was gained through productivity gains.

The bulk of hispanics are in states that don't matter and are blue anyway, like California and New York. Except Florida. Or, they're in total red strongholds like Texas. In the swing states in the north the whites will be pissed and so will labor. Places like Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan will go Republican. Sylvia Mathews Burwell: “Mixed families” (which she defines as children born in America to illegal immigrants) “should not be scared” because they may be "eligible for coverage and financial assistance.”

Of course, that’s why they are here, born in the U.S. by illegals so that they can tap into the welfare system and eventually gain financial-assistance status for their parents and extended families.

It is the Congress that provides for this devastating impact on the American system because it refuses to change this incredible loophole.

It’s incredible how Bill Gates, the recipient of America’s bountiful culture of free enterprise, economic justice, and vast commercial opportunity, has become one of its most destructive citizens.

Burwell, now America’s secretary of health and human services, previously was the president of the Global Development Program of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation where her program focused on world poverty, financial services for the poor, and global libraries, i.e., propaganda -- a fitting background for saddling Americans with Obamacare for the Third World.

Burwell is an operative of the bankers' new "international order."
