In Preparation For Tonight's Ferguson Decision

Tyler Durden's picture

As America holds its breath for tonight's (expected) grand jury verdict over the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown - by police officer Darren Wilson on August 9th - Missouri officials have said they have reached an understanding with protest leaders, as NY Times reports, on the conduct of demonstrations expected after the decision whether to indict Wilson or not comes down. Despite this 'understanding' it is clear that law-enforcement is 'prepared'...

  • *ST. LOUIS MAYOR FRANCIS SLAY SPEAKS AT FERGUSON PRESS CONF.
  • *SLAY: NEED TO PLAN FOR FERGUSON PROTESTS REGARDLESS OF OUTCOME
  • *SLAY: `IMPRUDENT' NOT TO BE PREPARED FOR `WIDESPREAD UNREST'
  • *SLAY: VIOLENCE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
  • *ISOM: POLICE DEPT. HAD SENSITIVITY TRAINING OVER PAST 100 DAYS
  • *ISOM: OFFICERS TRYING TO WORK ON RESTRAINT, HAVING PATIENCE
  • *SLAY: WILL GIVE PROTESTORS CHANCE TO COMPLY BEFORE ARREST
  • *SLAY: POLICE WILL RESPOND IF PROTESTORS BECOME AGGRESSIVE

As ABC News reports,

The FBI has sent about 100 agents to the St. Louis area to help deal with any problems that could arise from the grand jury decision in the police shooting of Ferguson teenager Michael Brown.

In addition to the FBI, other federal agencies have also mobilized staffers to get to St. Louis today, sources told ABC News.

And this...

As NY Times reports,

“If protesters are nonviolent, police will not be aggressive,” Mr. Slay said. “When demonstrators are being civilly disobedient, they will in most cases be given a chance to adhere to the law before being arrested. And then, if necessary, they will be arrested in a nonviolent manner.”

In other news completely overlooked by western propaganda outlets...

http://en.itar-tass.com/world/760944

BEIJING, November 21. /TASS/. China is against the declaration of independence by any ethnic groups through referendums, but this does not apply to Crimea, the acting director of the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s European-Central Asian Affairs department, Gui Congyou, told Russian media on Friday.

This is a manifestation of double standards serving the interests of the United States. In a bid to achieve its aims, the US resorts to intervention in the internal affairs of other states by using force without UN Security Council authorization. China is firmly against this approach,” Gui said.

To everyone on this list of 83...

Time for the "head fake"!

The 10th sure as hell ain't going to save us at this stage as they are all bottom feeders that are bought and paid for in the State House(s) as well.  Come to Washington D.C. and get to know the official that you paid for at the Federal level that made this all possible "up close" and "personal"!

Tell them you're not leaving until your Bill of Rights are restored or you will be staying for awhile! I'd say less than 3% of every American on welfare would be sufficient to overwhelm the Park Police and National Guard to the extent that it would shut it down completely!

FIAT

And more importantly the politicians that make them that way with the money that you pay the both of them!

This one is icing on the cake for me!...  How can anyone that is born and raised in the Country that defends what it has been doing the last 70 years alone live with themselves when they read something like this?...  How upside down can the rule of law be at this point?  And how did we ever allow it to get this bad?

Like my grandfather always use to say to me as a kid with regard to protecting both your honor and your name that comes with it Too many things far worse than death when you lose both "completely"...

With everything we are witnessing our government doing both at home and abroad these days I understand completely where he was coming from!

Thank God he's not around anymore to see what's become of it!

If the rumors of Officer Wilson resigning are true then we already know the verdict.

If he was looking at a 2-3 year jury trial he would not resign, since the police department provides lawyers, counseling, expert witnesses, and support for his defense not to mention full pay as the trial plays out.   So if he is resigning it seems obvious that he has not been indicted, but has concluded he can't continue his job as a police officer in St Louis after this fiasco.

So we can expect widespread looting and riots.  As for preparation - I've got enough food, and plan to quietly spend the weekend cleaning my guns and watching the riots on TV until this mess blows over.

I also believe this is purposefully timed to coincide with Obama's unconstitutional amnesty announcement - once again to deflect the attention of the "stupid American voters" away from the President's illegal actions.

One of the most intelligent posts on this whole fucked up thread.

Nevertheless, my guns are also clean, my satellite's paid and I'm stocked with plenty of popcorn out here in the country. They can burn down the whole shit city of St Louis for all I care.

Plus, it's deer hunting season. Hmmm. Watch riots on TV or go get me some venison...

I assumed it was the media running the same program to increase black turnout they've run so many times before (and which has got so many people killed over the years) but if they're still running with it after the mid-terms maybe you're right.

Grand juries are bullshit political pawns in cases like this.

The prosecutors office has the ability and plenty of evidence to file charges without deferring to a grand jury.

HOWEVER

If the grand jury returns an indictment, the DA's office is off the hook with law enforcement (meaning police unions) which they generally protect and cover for, and off the hook with other parties who wish to sweep this murder under the carpet.

If the grand jury does not return an indictment, the DA's office is off the hook with the public because the grand jury is supposedly representative of the public and the DA's office will say "Look, we did our job and the people have spoken"

The stupid only learn from experiencing pain, pain resulting from their own poor decisions.  May there be an abundance of pain attendent with the announcement of the grand jury's decision.

Bailey's and coffee. Been drinking since I got off work. The yin, the yang. The stimulant, the depressant.

Fun factoid off the evening. I can't purchase guns in Kansas without an in-state driver's license. How fucked up is that? I walked into Cabela's when I was in Texas and walked out with a Thompson.

The worse part was the handguns were on sale for $149.00. I so badly wanted a matching pair of 9mm.

Gold and ammo are the only things that make sense anymore.

Nothing will happen in Ferguson, is very cold.

I would not say the same thing about Ebola, yes this is hot, very hot.

Since Ebama put the "earmuffs General of the Republic" on the plague, the press is prevented from speaking.

Cold without this information will not work, wait for bad news.

Staging Ferguson, a covert op, and Al Sharpton

If nothing else Al Sharpton is a race hustling poverty pimp that oppresses his own fellow blacks and that should be pointed out every time he opens his mouth. He should be discredited.

Bill Cosby should be discredited too not because of these current allegations but because every time someone who wasn't black would speak truth to the black community e.g. Be responsible, don't break the law, raise your kids well, etc Cosby would tell them to shut up and mind your own business you're not black.

Constructive criticism is valuable no matter who it comes from and should be welcomed even if it is difficult to hear. The fact that he would make a statement as such indicates his racist beliefs huge unwarranted ego and lack of humility all of which are pervasive, destructive and ubiquitous in our society today black, white or other
