NATO Jets Surrounding Russia: Before And After

Tyler Durden's picture

Based on the following "before" and "after" the Ukraine crisis pictures of NATO warplanes located just off the Russian border...

Before:

After:

... one can almost understand why Victoria Nuland was so eager to tell the EU to "fuck off" in her successful attemp to foment Ukraine unrest leading to the overthrow of ex-president Yanukovich, and destabilize the region, giving NATO a pretext for a major arms build up on the other side of the Russian border.

Per CNN, "There used to be only four jets ready to intercept Russian planes that crossed into European airspace. Now there are 18." And rising.

As for what the US response would be if Russia were to park a few squadrons of Mig-35s in Cuba, Canada and Mexico, we leave that to the reader's imagination.

If NATO countries want to allow planes, tanks, bombers and all the rest in, that's great, as are the flights in international airspace - by Russians, NATO and the US.

I don't complain about Russian flights near Western countries and I wouldn't complain about NATO being on sovereign non-Russian territory.  It's all good!

The puppetmasters behind the screen have finally realized that the American Dumbass Public doesn't have the intelect or the time to care about countries like Iraq, Syria, Libya, Georgia, Liberia etc.

So, they are hell bent on resurrecting the ultimate bogeyman from the Cold War. The Russians. Even Stupid American voters (TM), can understand the BIG, BAD, BEAR is gonna come get you, and nuke you, and shove an AK47 up your arse.

The problem is, voters don't even care about that anymore. They are too busy just trying to survive the layoffs, the inflation with rising grocery bills, and the fact that there is no diposable income left over at all.

Don't think it's gonna work against the chessmaster that is Putin, because he knows that it's just a con game.

If it is really not a con game, then we're fucked anyway. Time to head for the bunker.

8 F-16Cs are Block 50 models and are a token gesture to the Baltics.  Meaningless in combat.   Baltics do have a legit security that Russia might choose to ramp up and stir up activity among the minority Russian populations.  Fins who hardly are in the Western-sphere of influence, not NATO members and have expressed no interest, and have always toed a middle line because they are leary of their Russian border have even more limited military assets to their border and really ramped up monitoring.  Ditto the Norwegians on their Russian border.

This is pure ZH click bait.  Nothing more.

The issue isn't in the Baltic or even the Arctic.  It is the issue of the Russians creating a land bridge to the Crimea and I bet money in '15 looking to take Odessa too.  If the 'oppressed Russians' (who are a clear minority in Odessa and well below 20% west of it) take Odessa, Ukraine which is already a complete basket case economically and heavily dependent upon EU/US to keep afloat becomes economically unviable.  It it throw the EU/US into a bind & real crisis and my bet is that Putin is hedging EU/US won't respond with any kind of meaningful military response because the EU/US won't engage in a hot war over Ukraine.  I bet he is right too.

If you are an American, you really need to look at these photographs to at least see what our government has caused in a land far away for the greed and power of the few who use America in ways no different from the killers and tyrants of past centuries.

How Neo-Nazi Thugs Supported by Kiev Regime Killed Odessa Inhabitants. Photographic Evidence

The following text and photos were sent to Global Research. They indicate the carefully planned agenda to incinerate people inside the Trade Unions building.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/how-neo-nazi-thugs-supported-by-kiev-regime-killed-odessa-inhabitants-photographic-evidence/5380504

P.S. The number of killed people is as high as 300. Most of people, especially children and women, were hacked with axes and clubbed to death with wooden sticks in the basement of the Trade Unions House.

OR:

Odessa Tragedy Survivor: “Many People Strangled by Neo-Nazis After Escaping the Fire”

http://www.globalresearch.ca/odessa-tragedy-survivor-many-people-strangled-by-neo-nazis-after-escaping-the-fire/5381438

The Odessa massacre is every definition of barbarism. And who's responsible? The United States. Just like being responsible for its lies about Russia, its aggressiveness in the Kiev coup, its warmongering with NATO countries to turn the world against Russia, and its European bankers supported by the Fed, who want to push the frontiers of world government to the Russian border and beyond.

The face of America is not Winthrop's City on a Hill, it is those charred bodies in Odessa. And the mechanism for creating this aggression - from the Middle East to Ukraine -  is the takeover of the reins of the American government by the international bankers.

The US and NATO have not faced a real air force since the Korean War. US 'Air Power' has done little to stop ISIS. Most of these NATO planes would become scrap metal during the initial Russian attack. There simply are not enough NATO armed forces in eastern Europe to actually stop Russia. And Putin knows it!

Correct, the US and NATO seem to think they're beating up on some crappy Third World nation like Iraq or Afghanistan...nope.  Russia has a very large, very capable military and the resources to fight a long war.  It would be a wakeup call for them if they tried to attack, to say the least.

While it's true Russia's military budget is only 1/7 of the USA (and rising rapidly) they don't have the same commitments to a global network of bases and naval deployments like the US does.  NATO would be wise to tread carefully.

This is a phoney war. Russia is not going to do anything except stare 'US' down, then turn their back on the west, face East and profit long term. NATO and the USSA are in the last gasps of a dying empire. Just ask yourself why  would 'we' ever try to prop up the bankrupt nation of the Ukraine? We have enough oil and gas else where, we really don't need the Ukraine, it is a strategic play to psyche out citizens in order to keep the military industrial complex alive. Our nation is soon to be on life support and the opportunistic parasites know it.

Russia has had at least 2 doomsday devices for more than 40 years. Reportedly, these are 50,000 megaton deuterium bombs with multi-million ton cobalt casings, and are buried deep in Siberian mountains.  There are no rockets or delivery systems, as these devices are designed to be used in place. The NATO powers are still under gunned if they are up against a nation in its own territory—a nation that can match the jets and add tactical battlefield nuclear weapons (more than any other world power). And since most battles with conclusive endings require ground operations, the side with the greatest predominance of armored divisions, able to cross into the battlefield within hours, gives the advantage to the Russian Federation.

This is saber rattling, trying to convince the world that Russia is very dangerous, that the reason we have to be there with all these jets is that Russia is a bad one and she might take over Ukraine.  It’s all to give the banker empire more leverage in negotiations. But it’s not working. It doesn’t look like Putin scares easily.

And it’s important to remember that the two key combatants would be the United States and Russia with the United States in another part of the world from the battlefield. WWII was won by landing ground troops and armored divisions on Normandy and fighting all the way to Germany. It wasn’t won by air power.

General Patton’s main point was that after pushing all the way through Hitler’s division in Europe, it was the Allies job to take and occupy the headquarter cities of Germany. And had that been done, the Cold War would not have developed as it did. As for the USSR being able to conquer the Germans by itself, that’s not a correct assumption given the powerful forces coming in from Britain and the United States backing the USSR.

This is merely a symbolic gesture. Militarily it is nothing. These are just "tripwires", whose destruction by Russian forces would be used to legitimize a full scale military reaction. I don't know how many combat-ready frontline aircraft are available to NATO at this time; but in any case these should be stationed in Germany, Britain and Italy, not in Poland or the Baltic states where they could be eliminated in a surprise attack.

If the situation in Ukraine comes to the point where Russia will decide to use its airpower to put an end to the Kiev state, they will not commit a first strike "Pearl Harbor" type of attack. They would rather do their business over Ukraine and prerpare to fend off a counterattack by NATO/US forces. NATO is not capable of launching an offensive against Russia, not on land and not in the air. It would have to accept that the airspace over Ukraine would become a Russian-controlled no-fly zone.

But, unlike Americans who have no idea what destruction and suffering can be brought on by war, the Russians know it. I don't expect them to bite off more than they could chew, or incur more suffering than absolutely necessary.

Speaking of creating more war using American tax money… the US-financed Israeli government is continuing what it began in early November when “dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded…the grounds of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, assaulted the worshipers with concussion grenades, gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets, and invaded the main mosque within the compound.”

Crisis in East Jerusalem: Israel and the Third Intifada?

November 22 -- The Israeli government knows how to provoke a response from the Palestinians. They are repressing the Palestinians by controlling their right to enter the sacred Al-Aqsa mosque located in the Old City of Jerusalem….

There has never been anyone better at blaming the victim than the Israelis.

The entire nation acts as rapists whose defense is, "But with what she was wearing, she was asking for it."

Boil down everything they've said about Palestine, Palestinians, Arabs, Eastern Rite Christians and anyone else who has ever stood in their way and it is the same thing, "I heard she'd fuck anyone, so I fucked her."

We don't recognize those defenses for rape in the civilized world anymore.  Why do we accept Israeli's modified version of the 'she was asking for it' defense for the rapes they've committed for decades againt an entire civilization?

Oh, that's right.  Not only are they the rapists, but when it goes to a jury, the US is the only jurist with 100% veto power, and they've already been bribed by the rapists.

I don't know if the rape analogy is the best.  Certainly, however, it is a case of "if you didn't fight back, then you agreed to the situation" and "if you did fight back, you started it and we will make up lies to kills you."  That more or less is SOP here.

Hell, in Hebrew school in Israel we had a section where we learned a basic social value - a game of spot-the-goy called (and I shit you not) "Who is the sucker?"  The basic inter-social starting point here is that everyone else is an immoral, manipulative cheat - are you gonna be the sucker who doesn't act like that too?  It's the reason people who come from functional societies (you know, where you plan on having long term relationships, not one-timers or pervasive distrust of everyone) tend to get ripped off constantly and are extremely off-put by the degeneracy of the culture. It's also why the country's greatest asset is cheating others outside of the country - because internally such a social-compact (no-ethics-free-for-all-cheat-fest) offers very little productivity.  The country is dysfunctional without external victims.

So - who is the sucker?  If you're asking, it's probably you.

Here is the typical Zionist response, in this case a response to the video linked above: Fedor Talks About the War in Ukraine on "The Voice Versus Fedor":

"The reason why Ukrainian army is shelling schools and etc is simply because separatists are hiding in such places. They don't fight in the open field. They fight from the cities full of people."   – Artem Omelchenko (commenter)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybx1DQZKTSw

It’s the same story they use in Gaza; they can’t think of anything new. Both countries - Palestine and Ukraine (and, I might add, the United States) - are controlled by Zionists.

FRIENDS, ROMANS, AND COUNTRY NOBLEMEN/WOMEN...

Gather ye round the table ye and let us-in all be a pooooonderin mightily.

THERE HAS TO BE SOME HEAVE HO, IT'S GOT TO GO.

SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE AND IT'S LIKE A BAD TOOTH THAT MUST BE PULLED. NO, NOT IN LIKE BUILDING NUMBER SEVEN PULLED, BUT RATHER LIKE A BAD VIRAL INFECTION IN THE JAW BONE THAT CAUSES SO MUCH PAIN IN THE MATRIX OF THE MIND AND BODY, IT ACTUALLY EFFECTS EVERYONE ELSE SO BADLY, THE CIVILIZATION IS WROTH AND WRECK WITH THE REEK OF A DARKNESS THAT IS TAKING THE WHOLE ENCHILADA DOWN THE TUBES OF FAILURES AND LOSSES STILL YET UNCONCIEVED BY THE MONEY CHANGERS THAT THOUGHT THEY KNEW IT ALL. GO FIGURE...

LIKE, FOR WHO DOES THE BELL TOLL? BABYLON, OR THE AVERAGE JOE? FOR YOU AND YOUR WORLD, OR FOR A FEW YOU NEVER WILL KNOW THAT WANT TO KILL YOU AND YOUR WORLD AND YOUR FAMILY AND EVERY DARN THING WORLDWIDE, INCLUDING EVERY PLAN YOU CAN CONCEIVE FOR ANY SORT OF FUTURE. ASK YOURSELF, DO I HAVE A MAGIC TICKET FOR THE UNDERGROUND CITIES, OR A FLIGHT OUT OF THE GALAXY? IF NOT, YOUSA IN BIGG DOO-DOO LIKE EVERY MAN JACK SOUL ABOARD THE GOOD SHIP LOLLIPOP-EARTH. DIG IT, THE TEETER IS TOTTERING.

SO, WHAT TO DO? WELL, TRY ENDING THE GROSS EXPENDITURES OF EVERY COUNTRY ON USELESS, SENSELESS, ENDLESS WARS FOR THE FEW THAT PROFIT FROM THEM, AND REFIT THE ENTIRE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN TO A PLOUGHSHARE FACTORY. SO MUCH CAN BE DONE TO PRODUCE USEFUL PRODUCTS THAT SELL, IF IT WERE NOT INCESSANTLY SPENT ON WARMAKNG TOOLS AND KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE FOR PROFIT.

THE PEACE DIVIDEND COMES AFTER LOWERING ALL THE PRICES FOR EVERY DARN THING OR SERVICE, OR ANYTHING THAT IS SOLD OR TRADED BY 90%. FROM THERE, LET FREE TRADE RUN WILD. THE BABYLONIANS HAVE BEEN 86'ED AND ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO FIX, ER PLAY WORLD ECONOMIC GAMES AGAIN. THEY RECEIVED FORGIVENESS AND A SMALL ISLAND AWAY FROM THE WORLD TO LIVE THE UTOPIAN DREAM, CAVE MAN STYLE.

THE COUNTRY GOES BACK TO THE GARDEN. MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR. SIMPLE AND EASY, FOR SOON THE TREND BECOMES SELF-SUFFICIENT SIMPLICITY. FROM THERE COMES ALL GREAT CONCEPTIONS AND IDEALS. FROM THERE COMES ABUNDANT NOURISHMENT AND NATURAL LIVING LIFE STYLES. THERE, ONE CAN EMBRACE THE REAL SENSE OF APPRECIATION FOR THAT SIMPLICITY THAT SO MANY HAVE LOST SIGHT OF.

CONSIDER THAT MOST HUMAN FOLKS LIVE IN THE CITIES AND WOULD PROLLY BE NEAR AFRAID TO GO OUT ALONE INTO A FOREST TO WIPE THEIR ARSE WITH LEAVES IN THE DARK ON SAY, A MONTH WITHOUT POWER LONG UNEXPECTED VACATION IN THE TOOLIES. GO AHEAD AND SAY IT CAN NEVER HAPPEN. GO AHEAD AND RUN WITH ALL THAT GOLD IN YER POCKETS MR JINGLES. SEE HOW FAR YOU GET UNTIL YOUR STOMACH BECOMES GOD, AND NOT THOSE MATERIAL VALUES THAT YOU THOUGHT WERE REAL.

AND HOW ABOUT THE COMPLETE RIGHT NOW NO MOAR FARKING AROUND WITH THESE ASSHATTAN MANIACS THAT ARE DOING THE BANKSTER PUPPET PERP WALKS TO ANOTHER CONTRIVED WORLD WAR?

AND BY GOLLY, GUESS WHO IS BEING SET UP TO FALL? YUP. THAT GOOD OL MOTHER AND PIE USA THAT WAS SO REVEALED AFTER WORLD WAR TWO, BUT HAS HAS NOW FALLEN TO THE PLANNED OUT TO BE MOST HATED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD JUST BEFORE THE WORLD WAR. SAME SAME IN GERMANY JUST BEFORE WW II. THE SIMILARITIES ARE UNCANNY.

See America as isreals puppet nazi govt that is actually ol rocketfellers and rothycholds puppet creation and all to start the third and final soulution world war. What is really stupid is, there are so many kow-towing to the idiotic plans of moar warmongering in the bold face of the world wide faltering economy. Go figure on that!

Reckon, when you have all the gold, there is no moar need for anyone else to be around to help you spend it in the babylonic line of thinking so therefore, the 99% have to be eliminated post haste before they eliminate you, the babylonians. Remember, the facts of history will always say that the soeterobola barry thing was the only American president that installed a nazi govt in a foreign country that was bought and paid for by the American do-nothing tax payer to start world war three.

Now the nazi army moves with nato for the next step and contrived false flag event that they actually think the world will believe is anything but a planned stage act with plenty of shawk-an-awww pageantry nightmare productions of oggie-boogie fear rampage, or propaganda following in the main stream media to hype and fan the fires of fear so well managed in this matrix. The troops are on the march. One would think those folks in europe had had enough of that there nazi empire thingy.

False flag event? Problem with that is no one will believe them when the next act comes down, even if they take the Internet down with say an emp, or laser agitated solar flare, er sumptin. These snark-akarnakians are so stupid, they are killing their own history before they write it.

THE ATROCITIES AND WAR CRIMES OF THE LACKEY PUPPETS THAT PROFIT FROM WAR AND DESTRUCTION CONTINUE TO PLAY OUT BY THE RANK PUPPET ACTORS THEY ALL ARE. HAVEN'T HEARD AN INDEPENDENT AND WORTHY THOUGHT COME FROM THE US GOVT SINCE THE EARLY NINETEEN-SIXTIES.

Ya know what? From the heart of America...hey puppets!...fark you!!!!

There, just had to say what every single real American is saying in the streets now. The country is sick and tired of these assclowns from hacken-sack-rothy-ville constantly doing every thing they can to destroy the country and her peoples, and not a darn thing for any single real American. They are all farking good for nothing bla-farking blah useless eaters and breathers.

Yuck to the suc, the people of America are sick-n-freaking tired of all the lies, profiteering for the war mongers, the corruption, and the destruction of America by a planned agenda. So is the rest of the very intelligent worlds people. World wide unity is easy, if you don't have a bunch of ba-boo-ba-bangers spending trillions of taxpayer's crashing dollars creating boogie men killers to have as targets to go after where ever they are placed and SUPPORTED at. The whole shit-shootin-show of training and creating al-cia-duh, and then changing gears and renaming the same murderous clump of carp with a new label is just plain ol stupid as a rock. Like, they are so stupid to actually convince themselves this is going to fool a world awakening to the beast system, much less to actually conceive the craziness that everyone world-wide will also believe this horrendous boatload of borst!, er, bovine excrement. Call it what you will, it is all shit. The same OLD MCANIAN SHIT!! Stinks the same day after day and the people are so entranced with the mere act of survival, they have no time to really address more important things.

Like a garden for instance, where the well grounded spirit, finds the spirit. There are many swords in closets gathering dust and no honor any moar. There are none who dare..yet they go on profiting from this dishonor day by day and still swear, to that Most High, the GAOTU, the great omni-babylon, oh mighty money-god. Question: is that Love?

Who would be the first fool to say that they would rather embrace money, gold, any material thing, in the last breath of life; compared to embracing true love? Speak ye, or hold yer blithering tongues of earthen evil quiet. News to yous all, there is time for forgiveness of all things. Still. The Way to save ones own soul is simple. It is done by ones own words, deeds, and actions. Dig it. Maybe sum day the Son will shine and the day will be filled with enlightening sunshine. Perhaps even greater higher vibrations of happiness in all the lands with fair trading amongst all. The very vileness of greed and cheating, murder, and profiteering from it will be so horrible to even conceive. Heave it overboard now!

These newly elected puppets are no different than the last bunch of criminals and traitors to the Stone Foundations of the Country called and dedicated to be America by many a good Right Hand. Liberty is her middle name, and freedom the last Stand. There is never, ever going to be any other Way, and so as soon as the ababylonians get that and call off and put down the rabbiditry of the mercenary-murderers and assorted killers from hell, the sooner the world can give a big ho-ho-ho and go on with modern peaceful lifestyles.

War is just so darn antique. Just end all the atrocious warmongering RIGHT NOW! There is no other way. This is the heave, and not the Ho. Here comes Christmas everyone and there are so many possibilities that can, or can not be put into action. The heads of the hydra, in order to be saved and forgiven themselves, better hear this and repent now. Turn your green energy money forces towards doing good and into the betterment of our world. We are all Children of the Sun. There is so much you can do to save yer own hides but if this is not done, the whole darn shootin show will go to the wayside. Just past some large planetary influence, or sunthing like that.

Forgiveness is the key that opens all doors. Like an alcoholic that desperately needs help but will never admit it, there is time to help you and to change the world in wonderful Ways. Any other course of action from the pyramids tippity-top and beyond will not be accepted.

Change is coming. What do ya say we all just get through Christmas and New Years and then sit down where everyone can smoke a big fat fatty and just talk about all this world warmongering so a few can profit from death, and destruction. Can you imagine Many True Knights at a Round Table making merry and all dong their best to determine who grew the best blends all summer, and comparing colars and tastes and etc, instead of talking back-room puppet deals in the pretexting days of world-war war making? Hummm...for the uninitiated, sorry for the tell it like it is language. Sum know, most don't.

The good news is, all can know and it can only be a better world as the season to be joy approaches. If every soul on board gave it a heave and a ho, there is a great possibility that the Light will shine through into corners of the dark closed minds and hearts and then yes, even some of those very dark-dark hearts that are really dying to come out into the saving grace light to be part of the growing emerging 21st century world. They want so badly to come out of the ever darkening and murdering antique out-of date warmongering one to shine.

It's all OK. At this time in history you still can make the right-up decisions to DO the good and level things for the betterment of the whole. It all counts, and all is known. There is NO ESCAPE from Karmic Universal Justice that Knows every calculated move we all make and yes, there is something far greater that the material life. It is a true spiritual richness that most cannot even handle, much less comprehend. Again, the good news is you still can have the hearts desire. It can always be good life.

Bless.

If I were Putin and NATO had 18 jets near the Russian Border, I would be scrambling 25 planes a day to get a rise out of NATO and make them spend jet fuel on nothing.

The fact that Putin isn't doing that tells me that when Lavrov says many EU members privately are telling him that they want sanctions to end and are being coerced by the US to follow it, he is telling the truth.

And that mitigates against Russia taking too many risks.

Who else but the US would tell France to eat the cost of Mistral carrier.  If Obama doesn't want Russia to have it, let the US pay for it and any penalties Russia is entitled to.

The Germans had a meeting just the other day in Russia.  The top foreign ministers.   Lavrov and his German counterpart.   This crap is hurting German businesses.

European trade with Russia was one of the bright spots in European economies.  Yes, the Europeans bought nat gas and oil from Russian but Russia and Russians were buying food, cars, technology and other things from the Europeans.  It was real trade with manufactured goods and resources.

Then Nuland/Nudelman says F the EU!

Europe needs to wake up.  Odd that the countries owned by the Red Shield aka City of London were the nastiest to Putin in Australia.  UK, Canada and Austalia with tha nasty comments and insults.

I wonder if the UK, Canada, USA and Aust know that Europe is slipping fast towards Russia's orbit.

Lavrov said the other day that the US was "coercing the EU" to sanction Russia.  Because it is hard to believe that the US doesn't see what's happening, we are left with the bitter taste that the US believes the world cannot support a growing economy and/or we are a few years away from peak oil and the military has ordered the shutdown of demand in advance of the paradigm shift.

Why watching the Finnish-Russian development has been fascinating to see and it is widely different than has occurred since the end of WW2.

Russian military aircraft have penetrated Finnish airspace 3 times in the last 2 months and both times the Fins scrambled f-18s to counter.

Those incidents along with frequent issues in the Baltic for the first time have prompted them about allowing nato forces to use Finnish facilities and even more direct ties to nato even though it is still an unpopular position among most fins.

THE WAR PANIC WILL CEASE FORTHWITH

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told participants at the Moscow-based advisory Foreign and Defense Policy Council:

“As for the concept behind to the use of coercive measures, the West is making clear it does not want to force Russia to change policy but wants to secure regime change.”

In other words, the wonderful Wizard, Obama, and his 28 midget cretins don't think Putin should be President of Russia and are exercising their self-appointed right to deceitfully, dishonestly, and treacherously remove him from office by squeezing the Russian economy through sanctions and by  paying to start a revolution there, the way they did in Ukraine.

They have been doing this for years.  Like they did to Ukraine.  Prior to Yanukovich, they had Yuschenko (nicknamed USchenko), but it turned out very nasty for them.  So they did it a second time, but with force and with presenting western Ukrainians money and passes on a bus to Kiev to cause havok.

US was caught with their pants down in both Russia and India as of recent.  USaid, a so called NGO company, was using 50% of its assets to fund the liberal opposition in Russia (the same opposition who was interested in splitting Russia up, as well as pretty much destroying whatever industry Russia had left).  This not only put a major scar on the Russian liberals image (pretty much tarnished them to the point that whatever little votes they had before, is now gone and pretty much only real opposition to United Russia party is the Communist party and the A Just Russia party (and these guys are welfare queens).  USAID was then caught also supporting the Aap party in India as well as certain other US based groups were supporting protests over the Indian nuclear power plants whom where being built by...dun dun dunnn.....Russia.

There is a clear anti Russian policy in the west, has been since the end of the cold war.  All the while they keep claiming they care about Russian people and what not and how evil Putin is to his people, they openly support terrorists in Ukraine who are killing Russians and Civillians who speak Russian, in droves, and funding groups who are clearly working for western interests in splitting up the country.  They just really suck at it.  Only works well in countries that are obviously filled with a huge jobless rate (middle eastern countries) and who have a very poor intelligence agency.  Doesn't seem to work too well though on countries who can hold their own like India, Russia and China.  Just sucks that my fellow former countrymen, are falling for this charade.  Last elections though gave me hope, since all parties were given really poor voting % and the total voters in the country were quite low.

This is nothing but a pure pat on the back to the baltic nations and Poland.  Simply put, this is nothing.  Just US 'showing' that they will protect these nations (highly doubt it).  Problem is that these bases are just that, bases with some planes on them.  They are easily within striking range of IRBM's and MRBM's, as well as long range cruise missiles (Kh-55 having upwards to 3,000km range).  Since it is a stationary target as well as NATO jets are not well known for being able to fly on rough terrain, these bases would be the first to be struck in case of a war.  As well, many Russian airforce assets are more inland, not closest to the border, and their jets have much high range (Su-27,30,35, Tu-22M) thus would be pretty much safe from attacks from NATO.

But in the end, this is nothing.  Wouldn't make much difference.  Instead, look what is really happening in Ukraine (former homeland).  Country is falling apart.  In Kiev, there are protests against Poroshenko.  He is pulling all assets out of Novorussia thus at this point, Novorussia is open to attack but Poroshenko shows that he is giving up the territory (may just resort to terrorism: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieM14B6T0po).

In the end, Russia got the upper hand.  They no longer have to deal with a sinking economy that is Ukraine (they were bolstering it up for decades), they wont have to deal with the Anti Russian's anymore, they made it clear to the world whom was responsible for my former Countries demise (not Russia), and also showed that the west is not willing to provide what it claims it will (money, proper support, etc).  In the end, it is all talk and EU/US knows they have gained very little.  Novorussia is its own now, and lost to rest of Ukraine.  Now Russia will have both land and sea access to Crimea.

This may not be the end either.  Kharkiv Oblast is having a......blast.

Please watch the video I linked to.  This will show you what kind of monster our governments are supporting.

Putin has played his hand like a seven no trump, lay down after the opening lead.

The recent denials by some Baltic NATO countries that Russia violated their airspace got two or three sentences in Reuters and probably nothing in the NYT and WaPo.  And the neocons in Washington don't even know that Estonia and Latvia have denied their air space was violated.

We completely understand that these planes and bases can't stop full invasion from Putin regime. But if that happens it's WW3. So is he really so mad? Maybe. Anyway military experts from both sides understand that Putin regime can invade Baltics (that's WW3 scenario) but can't stay there for long because NATO has overall military power and although Putin regime will be able to kill many people and destroy infrastructure - it will loose full war with NATO. Capacity simply doesn't allow Putin regime to stay there. It's still smaller than NATO holds.

The combined military spending of all NATO members constitutes over 70 percent of the global total.

The combined military spending of NATO is almost all USA. For all intents and purposes, the UK has mothballed its submarines and cannot sustain a brigade in the field without US logistical support. Germany has no more than 30 fighters in combat-ready condition. At most Non-US Nato nations spend 2% of GDP on defense matters; and most of that is on personnel and bases, not weapons and training.

The US Air Force and US Army have been worn out and broken into pieces by this long war against Islam. Air-Air Combat training has all but ceased in the USAF. The Army hasn't scheduled a full size training exercise for heavy combat against an armored adversary for years. It has to put "combat teams" together in a hodge-podge fashion when deploying to Afghanistan and Iraq. It cannot move a division into Euriopoe much less deploy one into combat.

Russia on the other hand does not have the ability to sustain offensive operations on a large scale either. And for reasons you have noted, it cannot win a long war. But it could force a division of Ukraine into something called Novorussiya and western Ukraine, and hold it long enough to become de facto, like the division of Korea has become.

The Russians are not going to fight wars needlessly. There are no winners in a Civil War; only survivors.

If only the cultural divide in Ukraine could have been respected by the rabid westerners, all this would have never happened. A duly elected government made the decision to favor Russia over the EU. And those who didn't like it should have organized themselves to win the next election and change that policy afterward, should they win a majority. Otherwise the decision should have been repected. The westerners showed themselves to be ethno-supremicists: if the russian side of Ukraine would not abide then the fascists would force their way upon them. This was not right. That makes the westerners wrong from the beginning.

There is no 'objectivity'. Once you start looking for 'facts', you will always find inconsistencies caused by manipulation and or lack of reliabilty.

It doesn't matter if you believe in a 'mainstream consensus narrative' or if you create an individual narrative. Your narrative will always conflict with other narratives. However, the most convenient way of existence is to accept the mainstream narrative. This view of the world gives you the highest level of agreement as long as you do not leave your community (area of mainstream narrative).

Believing in any of these 'mainstream narratives', no matter if its the one of the West or the one of Russia, China, etc. makes you Sheep!

Best you can do to get a reasonable level of 'objectivity' is to start creating your individual narrative. First step would be to stop fighting other narratives - that's waste of time.

EDIT: History is documentary of 'mainstream consensus narrative'. History is not the facts you are looking for. Question everything! Logic is your friend.

As you can see Russia attacked it's most closest nations they ever had - they called each others as brothers - I'm talking about ukranians and georgians. They where brothers - but now they are enemies. One man turned this around - it was Putin. You won't read it here - but because of this - people hate Putin. How could he do that to these nations? But he did - and for many genarations he will be hated for that. Ukranians & Georgians will never go back to Russia - never. Even Putin regime will annex larger teritory of Ukraine - the hate will be for ever. Putin managed to turn brothers into enemies for centuries. Have you read here that also Belarus president and Kazakhstan president shows their antipaty to what Putin regime do?

Why wouldn't NATO build up along the Baltic Sea? Russia has had a long-term plan to continue/complete an air base in Belarus Babruysk by 2016, operated by Russia, rather than giving it's "strategic target".... err... "partner" it's own fighters.

If they're going to station 24 to 30 fighters in a country on EU borders, and have had this plan for a long time, it would be the imagination of a moron not to expect NATO to boost the Baltics, and plan such "Cooperation partnerships" with Ukraine, Georgia and, yes..... Iran, eventually.

Ever since the collapse of the Soviet Uninion in 1991, which some of the western srategists mistakenly interpret as a kind of victory over their sworn ideological and military adversary-the USSR, NATO has been continually moving its military infrastructure closer and closer to the Russian borders. That is a fact. Despite all the promises given to Gorbatchev that none of the former eastern bloc countries would never become NATO members the West,it seems, has never stopped to view Russia as a potential foe and simply couldn't miss the opportunity to get as many advantages as possible from its so-called victory.

To understand why this is happening you only need read the project for the new American century also this video interview on Max Kieser gives a quick explanation and connects the dots starting at around the 12:30 mark.

Now what are the Key Principals of USA?

Freedom, Liberty, Equality, and Justice for all.

Nice Video btw. In a Liberal Democracy, what we call a Constitutional Democracy, there are pre-conditions that I was looking at last week or so in Wikipedia. I would assert that Blind Justice is what we expect in a "State of Justice" required for our Constitutional Democracy.

Preconditions

Although they are not part of the system of government as such, a modicum of individual and economic freedoms, which result in the formation of a significant middle class and a broad and flourishing civil society, are often seen as pre-conditions for liberal democracy (Lipset 1959).

I'm thinking of the Interview with Sheila Bair on Moyers & Company:

http://billmoyers.com/episode/full-show-what-has-capitalism-done-for-us-...

Sheila Bair, the longtime Republican who served as chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) during the fiscal meltdown five years ago, joins Bill to talk about American banks’ continuing risky and manipulative practices, their seeming immunity from prosecution, and growing anger from Congress and the public.

No one goes to Jail for Racketeering, Fraud, and Embezzlement in Banking.

No ones goes to Jail for using the US Military for Racketeering, Fraud, and Embezzlement either.

Socialism, Shanty Towns, and Spray Paint Graffiti is all over South America? I wonder why.

- Every Time they start getting Middle Class, US or European Bankers get in an stage neoliberal Economics & a Coup complete with Dirty Wars

- IMF/WB Solutions leave them in permanent Debt & Lose National Assets

- After their Revolution there was little financing or Land Reform

Just watched a video UK Parliament or House of Lords/Commons... Labor Party holding a discussion about who should create money, only 8% of Credit or Money created goes to None Financial Businesses... Do you think they need Financial reform? Is it different in Spain, Italy, Ireland, Greece, France, USA? Only 8% goes to Consumer Credit, so 16% is all that goes to GDP Expansion/Maintenance.

Here's the UK parliament debating money creation for the first time in 170 years:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBSlSUIT-KM&list=UU82By0y-2ZdjigNu5bWY4LQ (Addresses question of who should create money, Banks or national Credit/Money Creation, by 16 minutes is clear that money is just created put of thin air
and this is Dangerous, 30 minutes in only 16% of UK Money Creation goes to businesses outside of Financial sector and to Consumer Credit, this 16% affects GDP)

And bearing in mind the things mentioned in my previous post combined with all that endless "it's not directed against you" blah-blah-blah it seems to me that Russia is simply defending itself from its very unscrupulous and cunning "partners". You can't hide a knife behind your back and expect others to be naive enough to treat you like an innocent child. Actions speak louder than words my dear NATO partners!!!

I am sure Vladimir Putin is losing a lot of sleep over these aircraft. NOT!!! Russian missiles can take them out in minutes. Even stealth aircraft are not immune. Watch at 8:15 video below!

Wow.

That's a little more than 1/10th the number of fighters on a single Nimitz class aircraft carrier to provide fleet air protection (fighers are not bombers).

In the context of an entire continent, the massive military build-up is obvious.

At this rate of build-up in a few centuries there might be almost as many NATO aircraft near Russia, as Russia has in the city of Konigsberg alone...

Really...gunna go down this road again huh?

"As for what the US response would be if Russia were to park a few squadrons of Mig-35s in Cuba, Canada and Mexico, we leave that to the reader's imagination."

Once again, let me make this perfectly CLEAR: If you FUKN Hate the US So bad, and you actually BELIEVE Putin and the rest of the quasi-Communist ruling class over in Russia are so FUKN innocent and great, GO LIVE THERE for a little bit...But Dont go trying to cry and crawl home when your freedom is actually taken away.

Go talk to a few real Russians who moved away from that area of the oppressed world and see what they think about it all.

I heard there is a new report that states that the Missiles from the Cuban Missile Crisis never all were removed (42 reported Total). I would guess they would require a huge amount of refit in 50 years in the Tropics... but if the Cubans were trained by Soviets why would they stop repairing missiles?

No, I don't see that report. Looks like 42 Missiles were off loaded by USSR, then monitored by US to be reloaded.

http://www2.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/nukevault/ebb457/ (Cuban missiles retaliation for US-Turkey Missiles, different story)

Here is another about MIC & Corporate Subsidies:

http://consortiumnews.com/2014/11/21/bought-and-paid-congress-divides-th...

“The other dominant corporate sector is finance,” Overby said. “Some of the country’s biggest financial institutions — Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and others — are the top recipients of federal aid. That’s because it cost so much to rescue the financial sector after the 2008 market crash.”

Throw in the health insurers, media and telecommunications, retailers, Big Pharma – no wonder Washington’s K Street is lobbying’s road to Paradise. But it runs in both directions. NPR’s Overby talked with political scientist David Primo, who thinks Congress may be spending more time studying The Godfather than Robert’s Rules of Order.

No many do also see the similarity of the US and Roman empires both on parallel tracks.

Also in my opinion that poof chamberlain was a bit more masculine than dear leader.
