Mapping Recent "Incidents" Between Russia And NATO

Tyler Durden's picture

Having previously shown the dramatic build-up of NATO fighter jets around Russia's border, we thought mapping the rising number of "incidents" - which are worse than during the cold war - between NATO and Russia this year would be useful...

It appears Finland and Sweden are the most at risk of a major 'incident'.

If Russia wanted Finland, one would have to ask "Why?"

If Russia wanted Sweden, it's for the blondes.

If Russia wanted Poland, it would be to expand and create an autobahn from Berlin to Moscow.

NATO is just looking for any excuse to start a war to cover up for their failing central banks, that's all.

OMG now I can actually see what a pint size chunk of land that Donbass area is, seriously, WW3 over getting that little chunk of Russia speaking soil into the EU debt slave system? Can this all be for realz? When stand back and look at it on this huge map it's clear what NATO/ZIO wants is Russsia itself. But they don't care, no one actually looks at maps in Dumerica.

IIRC, the SWEdes used to want Independence and Neutrality; but thanks to Mr. Brzezinsky Family (Father and Son), TEAM_USA and NATO. Mass Brainwashings via Scare Tactics to convert them to the NATO Camp seems to be the Media Game.

Russians have taken a humorous jab at that...

To Finland and Sweden...  How to remove a Samson Option from within your border(s) and the "roach" infestation that comes with it!

If you have any commercial nuclear reactors in your Country make sure that Magna BSP is not guarding them like Japan on 3/11/11!

If they are not?... Then throw the fucking U.S., British and Israeli Embassies out of your Country take all their passports and ban any travel of their citizens in your Country for at least 5 years!

EU Nation(s) starting with Germany, France, Spain and Italy "rinse and repeat"!

So - what about CIA/NATO aid to irregular junta troops?

Russia can at least claim to be defending its ethnic kin, on its own border, in lands that were formerly Russian.

What's the American excuse for this regime change, meddling and intervention?

Does anybody know whose opinion is this?  Is it ZH's or WaPo's?

It appears Finland and Sweden are the most at risk of a major 'incident'.

Does anybody care why Finland, not yet in NATO, is at the top of the incident list?  Especially if a Russian provoked incident, would drive the Finns into Brussels" bosom?

If history is any indication, it will start with some minor fuckup...somewhere.

I have an idea.the west can frame russia and call it a false flag, such as fly a commercial aeroplane over the donetsk and shoot the plane down then we can blame the russians for killing innocent people.or we can  blame the syrian regime on how brutal they are in killing innocent children with poisonous gas, arm al queda and say that the russians are backing an evil dictator.or we can pretend that the coal miners who are defending their homes in the donetsk and lugansk region are russian soldiers and wheat harvesters are russian tanks that are invading ukraine.

Tue, 11/25/2014 - 10:28 | 5485741 gcjohns1971
gcjohns1971's picture

It all did start with a minor fuck-up.

When the Russian forces marched off Sevastopol they wore Russian Army uniforms without patches or Russian Army ID.  Later they admitted they were regular Russian military troops.

That was the not-so-minor fuckup, because it makes everyone wonder if the same thing was going to happen in their neighborhood sometime soon.

They should have simply bought and issued the blue-with-white-stripe Ukrainian Police uniforms, and never admitted they were Russian Army.  There would have been no problem, because there would be no indication that Crimea was anything other than Crimea's genuine will.

Now firstly, anyone who trusts a government is a fool.  Crimea was alright with Ukrainian government...until it wasn't.  The same thing can happen in any region and any government at any time.  This is simply the nature of government.  Observation is warranted, not trust.

So... fucking up in this way changed Russia's neighbors' view of Russia.

Respect is how you treat a bull who can trample and kill you.

Fear is how you treat a rabid bear.

You can trade with the bull, milk his cows in return for pasture.  If you are careful, and respectful, the relationship can be good for both.

But the rabod bear you have to drive off or kill...because his violence is not conditional, if you feed him he will still want to kill and eat you.

The fuckup made Russia's neighbors see Russia as more the rabid bear and less the bull. And the 'fact' is less important than the appearance because the fact is a matter of speculation, and the appearance is undeniable.

That is why they do sanctions. Because while NATO may ASK them to do many things, it can't really FORCE them to do anything they think is against their best interests.

The fuckup may have happend for many reasonas.  But if you watch Russia's channel one very much you will note that they don't seem to understand that there is a difference between fear and respect.
