Hacked US Documents Said To Reveal Extent Of Undisclosed US "Lethal Aid" For Ukraine Army
It has been half a year since it was first revealed that the US has been sending non-lethal aid to the Ukraine: recall that it was in early June when Obama announced he had approved $5 million in body armor, night vision goggles and additional communications equipment for the Ukrainian military.
Since then the topic of whether or not to arm the Ukraine army in its civil war against the separatist eastern region has been a hot topic as recently as today, when VOA reported that "U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has condemned what he calls Russia’s “aggression” in Ukraine, but stopped short of saying the United States will provide Ukraine with lethal aid... the White House nominee to fill the number two position at the State Department has said the United States should consider giving Ukraine lethal military equipment."
However, as lately has been a recurrent theme, the Obama administration may not have been exactly forthright with the public or the facts. At least that is the conclusion based on hacked documents released earlier today by the Ukrainian hackers group CyberBerkut, which reveal that despite assurances to the contrary, the US has in fact been providing substantial lethal aid to Ukraine's armed forces.
As Sputniknews reports, "according to the hackers, the information was obtained during the visit of US Vice President Joe Biden to Ukraine last week, when they were able to access confidential State Department documents via a mobile device of a US delegation member."
"After examination of just a several files there is the impression that the Ukrainian army is the branch of US Armed Forces. The volume of US financial assistance amazes with its scale. They also show the highest level of degradation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Besides, thousands of dollars go on personal accounts of military personnel and used by certain officers in personal needs. What will the American taxpayers say?" the statement published on the official CyberBerkut web page said.
Sorry, but the American taxpayers are too busy with other more pressing matters, than policing how their government spends their money.
Other documents published by the hackers indicate that Washington is ready to supply Ukraine with "400 units of sniper rifles, 2,000 units of assault rifles, 720 hand grenade launchers, nearly 200 mortars and more than 70,000 shells for them, 150 stingers and 420 anti-tank missiles."
The leaked documents presented below have not been verified so take them with a grain of salt, although it is worth recalling that it was a hacked leak of Victoria Nulan's conversation in February 2014 that revealed that extent of behind the scenes meddling by the US State Dept in Ukraine's internal affairs just ahead of the presidential coup.

Adding to the authenticity of the documents were some photos of two Americans larking around and in front of Air Force Two? It was claimed the documents came from a hacked phone. Possibly the reason they are photos of documents, easier than a photocopy, not pdf etc. Probably also why they were hacked, more difficult to encript. Two guys probably now in serious trouble. I am suspicious of all information about the Ukraine and Russia conflict, and I just returned from Kyiv 2 weeks ago, and my assistant is returning there in 2 days for a week. Even when you are in Kyiv the rumors and gossip are in conflict. Except for the part about good people dying.
One of my buddies just returned from Kiev after meeting a special lady, and told me the following:
-electricity flickers in and out every day, sometimes off for hours.
-no hot water
-apartments are heated to approx 55 degrees
-roads are a total mess, with huge potholes.
- tap water is undrinkable and smells very bad

-lots of beggars

The idea of America getting involved or jumping into a war in Ukraine would have been hard to imagine a few years ago.
We should not allow events to deteriorate into a major war or possibly what some see as World War III may becoming a reality. As insane as it appears this could become the final outcome. The location of this as a military confrontation is right in Putin's backyard and this is a strong advantage for Russia. It is silly to think Putin and Russia will back down. This means to continue poking the bear is not a smart move. More on this subject in the article below.

i think the fu, the eu is coming, americas military personell is being downsized, you can't back us, and support nato, and sancations, and get a pass from china, and russia, when the there's a throwdown.
war, if starting in ukraine, europe in whole will be considered an unprotected flank that needs to be eliminated, or at the least, nutralized.

I find it funny that statists believe so much in their own scam of gun control that they are applying gun controls even to states.
I was skeptical when I read this...because propaganda is so rampant.
But most of it looks genuine.
Except these documents are mixed and matched.
Firstly you have Ukraine billing the US for military exercise attendance... That is totally boiler-plate and standard. If I look a little I can probably find nearly identical documents where Russia attended the exercise "Partnership for Peace 1995". I've seen them before.
Secondly, you have the Presidential authorization for non-lethal support. The TPQ-48's are stretching it. A counter-mortar radar isn't lethal...but when someone fires a mortar at you it will tell you where that mortar was fired from so you can shoot back.
Thirdly there is a long list of equipment. I notice this...the M110's (basically an M16 chambered for 7.62 -or AR-10 for those who know), M21/M14's and M24 (bolt action Remington 700) are what the US would offer as sniper weapons...because that is what the US has in great quantities.
Then for a general carbine/combat weapon the US would give M16's, maybe M-4's.
For sniper weapons this list has SAKO's primarily with a few M110's thown in. SAKO's are Finnish and used by European forces...
Then as a general carbine/combat weapon this list shows SCARs. Except for a few specialized units who have arms-rooms full of exotics, the US doesn't have these to give. This, again, is what Europeans use.
Then there is the fact that he first line of the list says "Priority Needs for Material Aid for the Defense of Ukraine". When you send someone a list of stuff you are giving them you don't usually title it as a list of their priority needs.
Fourthly, none of these documents fit together. The bureaucracy that handles foreign assistance is not the same one that handles exercises. Specifically, EUCOM would handle exercises, and the State Department would handle aid. And what the hell is this list? If it were coming from the US it would be written in English and feature the letterhead of a US office, like al the other documents.
This looks like a frame-up. This looks like someone took exercise documents, and then took foreign assistance documents, and then took a list of stuff Ukraine wanted, and tried to put them all together as though they were one thing instead of three different things.
While I would not be suprised to discover the US providing weapons to Ukraine, and real evidence could appear later this afternoon or any other day, this ain't it.
