OMG!! I'd be hard pressed to say that these might not be some of your best yet, WB VII! My mom died just a little over a week ago and this is the first day I've been back online, so thanks for the huge belly laughs. I really needed that. I especially love the angry social media iconagraphs, posing as microphones. Too funny!
Sorry to hear about your Mom.
My sincere condolences to you and your family.
William,
The issue isn't about the Ferguson shooting. It's a classic misdirection by those who manipulate 'public opinion'.
Time after time, day after day, the paramilitarized 'police forces' in the occupied United States use their totalitarian arms like they were trained to do in 'foreign lands', and the race of the reciever varies dramatically. SWAT raids on the wrong adress with fully-armoured 'police' in MRAPS who shoot flash-bang grenades through windows into bedrooms that land in cribs of sleeping 2-year-olds and severely burn them (and 'no fault' is found by 'internal investigation'). Illegal 'checkpoints' set up under the guise of 'stopping drunk driving'. Tazing 78-year-old women for refusing illegal searches of their houses. CPS having sherrifs illegally enter homes and taze the parents in front of their children for the crime of 'homeschooling' (because an 'anonymous' call was made that stated that the house was 'messy'). THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of LEGITIMATE issues and violations...
BUT...
If a gangbanging PUNK robs a store, and a cop I.D's him and attempts to apprehend him; AND, if the perp gets belligerent and cocky and thinks he is 'king shit' and goes for the cop's GUN, and the cop gets the upper hand and shoots the asshole, THEN...
AL SHARPTON and ERIC HOLDER and fucking CANNIGULA HIMSELF come out of their 'divide and conqour' caves and make it a NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL STORY (because the perp was BLACK and the cop was WHITE). The cheerleading MainStream Media puts up the 'racial' flags and baits the so-called 'Alternet' as well...
It's a CLASSIC RACE-WAR DIVERSIONARY TACTIC used to INCITE VIOLENCE for ALL the WRONG REASONS, William.
The Pope, a Samurai, and a Talmudic Jew walk into a bar. The Samurai puts his sword down by the door, and the Pope takes off his black robe hanging it on the scabbard. The Jew walks up to the bar and pulls out his wallet, stating, 'I'm buying the drinks'.
The bartender just stares at the three for a moment, and breaks into uncontrollable laughter. The three patrons wait, and finally, the Pope and the Samurai and the Talmudic Jew approach the befuddled bartender. 'What's the matter, sir?', the Jew asks earnestly.
The bartender regains his composure. Loudly, he exclaims:
"What is this, a JOKE?"
Mr. Scott,
the whole post is great, but "cannigula" warrants more than a simple up-vote.
i nominate "caniggula" the best coined term of 2014.
but i aim to give you a run for your money...i've got 5 weeks to come up with something better -- and i'm gonna make every one of em count.

You have to admit, if the whole think isn't orchestrated by TPTB, they have a lot of dumb luck. Blacks burning down their own towns over a dead punk, and thoroughly distracted from anything that matters. Whites meanwhile terrified of the pants-down mob and willing to do anything their protectors say. So perfect.
But one thing no one has mentioned -- the strange suicide by cop overtones of the whole thing. The original PC media description of Michael brown was of a young man starting college the following month. But a young man with that sort of plan doesn't rob a convenience store and get his mug on the surveillance camera for the whole world to see. A petty thief who doesn't want to be caught doesn't strut down the middle of the street. After the police show up and say get out of the street, he says "sho' chief" and ducks behind the nearest house. Michael Brown acted like someone who was looking for a confrontation with police, and had no plans to ever set foot in college.
The Intercept had a thoroughly PC account of the shooting which included this:
Most witnesses seemed to agree that Brown was moving toward the cop at the time the magazine was unloaded into him; they just disagreed about how fast. There is a lot more to the story that will never get told.
I subjected my self to the torturous exercise of reading some of the GJ evidence last night.
My off the cuff conclusion is the whole thing stinks.
The bottom line has always been the same irrespective of whether you are black or white: The cop will always get the benefit of the doubt. This is something my parents taught me when I was a kid. Stay away from cops and if you can't avoid it, never talk back.
An officer who refers to a suspect as a "crazed hulking demon" is certainly not a skilled professional I would want to interact with. Particularly if I was busy jay walking my way home from an early morning Cigarillo hold up.
The people who live in that hopeless Missouri shithole and their pinstriped advisors are too fucking stupid and too busy ranting about how blacks are policed to ask the simple question why is it that I am relegated to subsisting in this hopeless Missouri shithole with a fascist police force and who are the ones responsible for that. If they asked that question, I suspect a few banks would have been burned to the ground last night.
But they are too fucking stupid to connect the dots and that is not surprising. You will never ever hear the likes of skilled hustlers such as Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson et al asking why it is that Holder has not convicted any banksters or why QE Infinity only trickles up. That is because they are all on the Bankster gravy train and all we are going to hear from them is the same old same old black versus white misdirection.
I suppose this "nation of cowards" is going to have the discussion of race afterall ;-)
As the issue in some quarters of our society seems to revolve around why are a majority of Ferguson cops white when the majority of people voting in Ferguson are black I simply ask, when you called them to investigate a crime in the past did they fail to show? Is Newark or Gary or Detroit the model or the exceptions to the model? Were the people of Ferguson treated with respect and dignity before this and doesn't the baseness of the position imply a racial bias against white cops?
Another thing, it has not escaped my attention that the looters are not going three blocks off the main drag in any direction to the surrounding residential areas. Why? Are they afraid they'll be shot dead in the street by the black homeowners who will in fact defend their property from looting & burning? And as the looters continue to loot & burn do they not realize they are reinforcing some bigoted white stereotypical thoughts and if they do realize this, why continue?
Well, here we go again tonight. Someone simply has to start a fire somewhere. Let's see if they can get it done. Half of Ferguson is burned down so why not burn the other half? You have to love when half of the free shit army gets pissed at the other half of the free shit army. Burn the fucker to the ground.
EB brought up a great point earlier today. Why didn't any banks get burned down to the ground?
Mayhaps that was anticipated by the banksters (even inadvertently?) and that is why they sicced the pigs on OWS so harshly.
"Why didn't any banks get burned down to the ground?" --Manipuflation
Because we are debt slaves. Slaves + fire = charred carcass.
For the same reason Police Stations are still standing.
this is the unraveling of america, now this is 1970 and the protests against the war, the government and the draft, and racial inequality finally spill over at Kent State, and then a few gunshots later the combined protest movement ends. and it will end that quickly again, the national guard has tolerated the looting so far, but a dozen or so dead bodies will stop that. (these are guys who have killed and killed again in Iraq, life is cheap) the war in vietnam lasted five more years after Kent State. the president resigned in disgrace (wait for that one again) and the nation tried to heal, but ultimately we just went full circle. the protestors today have no clue what they are facing, the belly of the beast, the president has little or no control. he and we are resigned to it. that moment is near. Kent State was so far away from the big cities and the carefully orchestrated protests, just as Ferguson is far away. a few deaths is all it will take. the conservative law and order candidate gains control, if only for a moment. its all happening again
"Sen. Chuck Schumer upbraided his own party Tuesday for pushing the Affordable Care Act through Congress in 2010.
While Schumer emphasized during a speech at the National Press Club that he supports the law and that its policies "are and will continue to be positive changes," he argued that the Democrats acted wrongly in using their new mandate after the 2008 election to focus on the issue rather than the economy at the height of a terrible recession.
"After passing the stimulus, Democrats should have continued to propose middle-class-oriented programs and built on the partial success of the stimulus, but unfortunately Democrats blew the opportunity the American people gave them," Schumer said. "We took their mandate and put all of our focus on the wrong problem—health care reform."
The third-ranking Senate Democrat noted that just about 5 percent of registered voters in the United States lacked health insurance before the implementation of the law, arguing that to focus on a problem affecting such "a small percentage of the electoral made no political sense."
http://www.nationaljournal.com/congress/chuck-schumer-passing-obamacare-in-2010-was-a-mistake-20141125
What a prick.
We told you (all you insane assholes) that screwing up 90% of the peoples lives in order to help 10% (which turned out to be a proven lie, as we also said) was political hemlock for you.
Why? Because we don't practice lying Chuckie.
But no, it felt like a good lie to you, that the sheep might believe and give you more authority and dominion over us, now you say it was a "mistake" after Gruber reveals the nest of lies you told, of less coverage at more expense and higher deductibles. Because you've now been stripped down to your bare essence for all the country to see, you say it made no political sense.
Yet you voted for it, advocated for it, engaged in and covered up the lie at our expense for as long as you could.
You're a fucking snake.
The greatest damage this slimeball did to his country (well, one of his countries) was the the demographic destruction of White America through various immigration "reforms". Meanwhile he's on record as saying that Israel must remain a Jewish state.
+1,000,000,00!
great work today, WildBill7.
as for janus, i've been sufferin through the lootin blues. i stayed up all night last night ticking off items on my lootin list; there were visions of chinchilla pajamas dancin in my head, igadgets of every variety for the whole family, jewel encrusted pimp chalices to line my cupboard, fabrege egg laying chickens for the yard, a renoir, a mattise, a cezanne AND a titian to spruce up the office...(i had five pages full of this stuff)...and so i the next day rise just-a rarin to go. nothing will charge the blood with vigor like the prospect of a day spent looting to your heart's delight.
but it wasn't to be...racist bunch-a looters turned me away. told me lootin ain't for white people. and it wouldn't of mattered, anyway. they'd already fried and eaten all the fabrege egg layin chickens, they'd soiled all the chinchilla to such an extent that dry cleaning was of no avail, the jewel encrusted pimp chalices all already dented and befouled of malt liquor, the cezannes, mattises, titians & reniors all used for dice-rollin boards.
so, next time you hear someone say that life ain't fair, you can spit in their face on behalf of janus -- for some of us, life ain't just unfair, it's down-right criminal!
and i was really jazzed about this lootin business; as it couldn't have come at a more propitious time in my life. uber has put such a dent in the humble cab-driving budget that i felt this fergeuson verdict nothing short of godsent. you see, mrs. janus has really been twistin the screws down on my nerves of late...and earlier today, after returning home lootless and despondent, she starts yippin & yappin about meat, how expensive it's become, and listed the many reasons janus should get his gun to go out a slaughterin for to fill our freezer with flesh.
janus was in no wise keen on this scheme. upon recalling the hunting trips from my youth, there were memories of mornings so early it was still fully night, toes so cold they felt like frozen tater tots, endless hours waiting on bambi to creep up and face the hot-leaded justice that punk-ass fawn so richly deserved.
it isn't that i have a problem killing beasts; it's just that hunting is so tedious and agonizingly boring. some days, you can invest every hour from dawn till dusk and won't even come away with the pelt of a chipmunk; and, believe me, when you spend all day with the finger poised on the trigger, you'll happily blast both chip & dale to hell just to satisfy the yearning of boredom.
no thanks on the hunting business...i've far better ways in mind of spending my time. but then again, i do like meat -- lots & lots of meat. and so it was that i'd come upon a dilemma. after many an hour considering the insoluble conundrum janus was dumbfounded with a bolt of inspiration...no, more than that, it was a blast of genius.
next time you hear someone say that necessity is the mother of invention, you can spit in their face on behalf of janus...fuck invention, i have learned that a hunger for protein is the father of GENIUS!
there i was, driving to the store to purchase some over-priced protein and it hit me. here were all these beasts with flesh far superior to that of venison, slow of wit, slower of gait, docile, no bite, no bark, locked in gates, bells attached to their necks to better find them in the dark. without wasting another moment i pulled over, parked, locked & loaded and started pacing. there was gonna be a showdown in the pasture. janus vs. moo-cow at high-noon. the air was dense with tension.
sure, these bovines look meek and mild from the roadside; but as i approached, it occurred to janus that this idea should'a at some point occurred to any other. i mean, why would anyone waste a whole day in a tree-stand to attempt to shoot a deer -- a beast capable of incredible speed and leaping feats -- when all these delicious cows are just standing there, almost begging to be shot? something wasn't right. at any moment it felt as though these cows could turn on me and stampede or something even more sinister.
but i'm happy to report that nothing of the sort befell your narrator and noble hunter. i was brave enough to walk right up to the thing, point my pistol between her naive, bulging eyes and squeeze off two rounds square in her cud-chewing face without her even batting a lash.
after loading the thing in the back of my SUV i couldn't help laughing to myself...as stupid as that cow was, how much dumber the idiots that spend all their weekends in trees stalking those wily bucks with the intimidating antlers? cows are not only better tasting, they make for the most accommodating of prey. i have to commend the cow on its hunting manners; it understands its role perfectly, and doesn't do anything to inconvenience the gallant hunter.
i expect to make a regular hobby of this cow-hunting. it's quite possibly the most fun a man can have with a pistol and an extra hour on his hands. my walls will be mounted with the stuffed heads of all my most prized bovines. i will regale my guests with tales of valor over brandy and cigars as each stuffed head is brought back to life with a stirring tale of darring-do
here's a clip of janus showing amorica's youth how it's done!

Faberge egg laying chickens is what Jamie Dimon has, that and throat cancer
"as for janus, i've been sufferin through the lootin blues. i stayed up all night last night ticking off items on my lootin list; there were visions of chinchilla pajamas dancin in my head, igadgets of every variety for the whole family, jewel encrusted pimp chalices to line my cupboard, fabrege egg laying chickens for the yard, a renoir, a mattise, a cezanne AND a titian to spruce up the office..."
This is classic Janus. There is a lot there to comtemplate in what I just reposted. At first I didn't read any of Janus' articles but he was persistent. Finally, however, I did start reading his posts. Hello James Joyce. I beleive that what has janus has been doing is to develop the nicest way to tell the people who need to know to go fuck themselves.
I like what he is doing and I like reading it. I have my own style of writing which is heavily peppered with excessive profanity. To each their own.
Manipfu...,
i was concerned, my brother. you left a message about going dark and i was torn. on the one hand i understand the impulse to divorce one's self from the ubiquitous madness that is become amorica; but on the other you've got to understand that you're a big part of this place, The Hedge...it just wouldn't be the same without you. and besides, who would represent Minnesota...al franken?
your complements mean an awful lot to me, my friend. a while back, i knew i was onto something special and unique -- i've always had plenty to say, but was never confident that my style was sufficiently iconoclastic to 'make it'; and i recognized the fact that if i were to go about this, mine would have to be a style both distinct and iconoclastic. fortunately, it took me decades to develop; for in that time i stuffed this redneck noggin with more of the world's great lit than you can shake a stick at. all the same, i understood that my philosophical orientation was (and is) anathema to those who pull the strings in the world of lit. and so i knew i had to be good...damned good. people with ideas like mine are literally hunted; we are dangerous because they are so infectious. and though the odds were and remain against me, i do know that this thing i do is compelling for a particular sensibility; one that understands and has similarly experienced all that goes into my craft. here's the thing: there are many great and luxuriant pleasures in this world, but for the people that truly matter there is no greater thrill than intellectual stimulation and an intricate wit...certain people seek it out aggressively. and, ironically, there is something in them that wants to be challenged with ideas that were heretofore alien to their thinking. most importantly, if you can make em laugh and really amuse them, you'll always get their attention. and that lends me a measure of security; for janus, it was at times most certainly 'funny or die'. i make some people very nervous; and it gets me off.
as far as the Hedge goes...well, i can't say i could've done it without Tyler, ZHealots (even them that hate me), WB's tolerance and patience and the quality of intellect that still forms the core of our common discourse on these threads. this is truly a special place on the interwebs. i've been afforded the freedom to refine my style and sample the most forbidden of thoughts here, and i'm grateful for all of it. no doubt, i would've by now been booted from just about any site -- as i am devoted to the principal of testing boundaries and tinkering with folk's most closely held beliefs...and have a hell of a time doing it.
now that the house is quiet and i've done my warm-up writing on The Hedge, it's time i go and finish chapter xxxiii.
let me get your opinion on something, Manip. the working title for my book is "the grievous angel"; but i was reading the Bible today and i came upon a passage in the eleventh chapter of The Gospel of Mark...let me quote it and i'll tell you my idea. this is Mark 11 verse 11-24:
11 And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
The Fig Tree Withered12 Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.”
And His disciples heard it.
Jesus Cleanses the Temple15 So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 16 And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. 17 Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’?[e] But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”[f]
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching. 19 When evening had come, He went out of the city.
The Lesson of the Withered Fig Tree20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
okay, so, i was toying around with the idea of renaming the book "A Season For Figs"....i don't know, though, maybe just a chapter title. still, even though only on sliver of a single percent of the population would understand it's profound and contemporary relevance, i'm still tempted to go with it. what do you think?
p.s. i'm not exaggerating when i say that of all i've read, NOTHING even comes close to the Bible. it's the writer's bible.
thanks again, my friend.
janus
Janus is a fucking god. Well I know that Janus is a god, but our ZHer Janus is also a god. I really almost peed my pants several times. I laughed till I cried. James Joyce, indeed. Beautiful Janus, robnume worships you and WB VII. Without you guys, life wouldn't be worth half a damn! What? Life is now worth just a half damn? Been so out of touch since ma died that I missed the lootin' and all the fun! I gotta start gettin' out more.
Robnume, i'm tempted to be really nice to you. i really mean it when i say that it's comments from many among my friends here that's kept me on course and disciplined in my endeavor. i truly do consider many of you close friends. in some ways, i feel closer to many of you than some others i know in a more tangible way; and that leads me to say that i'm very happy that you've chosen to share your grief with we your cyber-friends. i consider it an honor that you'd trust me with your loss; and i can't speak for everyone, but it says quite a lot about this place...good things.
i will furthermore say that the shared experiences i've read on these pages have led me to pursue an earnest reconciliation with my parents; i won't get into the details, be we were basically estranged for the better part of three years...the counsel to love & honor father & mother here has forced me to consider my actions and stiff-necked stubbornness. for my part, it is always the living for whom i mourn in times of loss; and i can sense the abundance of love you had for your departed mother. i nearly lost my own mother while she was still living as a result of frustration and stubborness, and when i read your words i know for sure that i would never have forgiven myself if ever i'd lost her forever to death, having denied her and i the redress of reconciliation. and so, my friend, i thank you for both affirming in me a greater certainty that the proper thing has been done and reminding me of the most weighted priorities in life.
other than that, i don't quite know how to thank you for the kind words. only problem is, now i can't let my wife read the piece...if she stumbles over your comment, i'll be banned from this site for six months. i can assure you, and mrs. janus will more than back me up, i'm not only not a god, i'm not much of a person. aside from a little writing prowess and a bit of the gift o' gab, i'm not really worth a damn. but i thank you all the same:

janus
Loot for Toot, dude.
You'll feel better about it.
I feel sad.
I beleive if the news media didn't show up, there wouldn't be any reason to riot. It is all one big selfie for national TV. Sharpton, Jackson, Holder and Obama too.
So, poverty pimp pr0n then.
You nailed it. I watched all evening on all the various live streams, and 95% of all the people who were out there were just walking around, staying on the sidewalks, chanting a bit and exchanging a few barbed comments with the cops. It was almost as if someone said. 'Gee, theres all these cameras around, I think we're supposed to do something more.'
So they set a car on fire.
It was mostly over by 11pm, it got cold and they went home.
Sure, we're being divided and conquered by cultural wars. That is an indisputable truth.
Also indisputable is that the segment of our society that is on the wrong side of the cultural war is really to blame. If it weren't feasible to divide and conquer us pleebs, TPTB wouldn't do it. Those who are racists, anti-abortion and anti-equality are the true bad guys - not TPTB.
Just as if it TPTB didn't have rotten bastards in politics to do their dirty work, there wouldn't be any dirty work to do. Crime pays because some people don't mind doing the crime if the price is right.
Loot 'n holla!
Catchy name for a string of c-stores...
To quote the great philosopher Tawana Brawley; "No body minipsnates me or my family."
The first & second pictures sum it up perfectly. While those douchbags are robbing the country blind nobody is watching them. Instead they are focused on the prearranged media extravaganza's like Ferguson.
Imagine if this country ever got over this 'us against them' racial bullshit. I think TPTB can imagine that and it ain't good news for them so they play up this shit.
I wonder if the founders could see what has taken place in this country if they wouldn't say "I wish we would have just picked our own damn cotton"?
The small percentage of the population that benefits most from the current systems wants to keep us divided along racial and political lines to make it easier to control us.
They want a bundle of small sticks tied together with the ribbon of the state. If one segment of the population gets out of control it is easy to pull it out, break it and discard it.
You're correct, we are all, black and white and whatever, being played by a massive misdirection campaign. What happened last night was no surprise. It was the culmination of a highly orchestrated MSM panc and fear campaign. As if they didn't know what the verdict was going to be.
Meanwhile, where the fuck are we on the systemic FX trading fraud?
And why doesn't the rest of the supposedly legitimate wing of corporate America express any outrage over being massively defrauded by the banks in all of their cross border currency transactions and hedging arrangements? It's part of the bankster vig, that's why.
You can have an indictment. Indeed...that is the purpose of an indictment...to have an investigation! Instead now we the Officer giving interviews and clearly making money. Is that department policy? I mean clearly...this is still a "citizen." Popping off a bunch of rounds doesn't seem like leading by a GOOD example. Of course we can always up the firepower.
TOW missile systems, 40 millimeter canons, a nuke. Whatever you need sir!
Hey, WB VII, that's actually doublespeak at it's finest, if there is such a thing.
This we much.
Justice is the only reason to have a government.
Well at least Ms. Blythe Orange Pants (tm) has gotten herself a job. Delivering wings to office parties this holiday season might pay the rent...
Inspired by Banzai's images:
The REAL Looting Is Happening On Wall Street … Not In Ferguson
Those are not looters!!!
They're undocumented shoppers ;-)
You cannot have respect for the rule of law if the laws only apply to certain men. You cannot have justice if justice is something bought and paid for by the highest bidder. That is what we now have and whatever follows should be no surprise to anyone.
So there is a shithole known as Ferguson and the despondent people there are behaving like animals. Well, thank heavens at least it's not Park Avenue.
Kim Kardashian ass head.
I thought lthat looked familiar.
Now there is Sharpton talking some shit. This press conference is a real dandy. What the fuck language are they speaking? They contend that it is not their fault that they burnt half of their city and a lot of local businesses to the ground. I just has to be someone else's fault so now we want some cash.
I took a shit this morning that looked exactly like Al Sharpton.
What if they gave a war and nobody came?
I heard Sharpton was on the way. I hope I did not miss that display of stupidity. Probably need the Cardassian too because if the glove don't fit you must acquit...
It's not rioting and looting, it's phase 1 urban renewal.....
send Darrell Wilson to the SEC. under the auspice, at least he knows how to arrest someone
