"We Are A Nation Built On The Rule Of Law"
Having explained to the residents of Ferguson that "first and foremost, we are a nation built on the rule of law," we thought the following 'discussion' of the difference between "laws" and President Obama's executive orders would help clarify a few things...

built on the rule of law,
run by crooks and scumbags.
Oh yeh, like constitution, freedom and American dream.
Rule of the ugly girl at the end of the bar:
Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
Wrong.
We are a nation destroyed by the rule of legal counterfeiters.
...who are hiding behind unjust law.
According to the SCOTUS there are no unjust laws.....
Indeed, even when he throws it in their face:
“Don’t just start yelling, young ladies,” Obama said as multiple women stood up to demand that Obama stop deporting people.
“I let you holler,” he said as they continued shouting. “You’ve got to listen to me too.”
Obama said that the protesters were right about a lot of illegal immigrants getting deported but that he was acting to change it.
“What you’re not paying attention to is the fact that >>>I<<< just took an action to >>>change the law<<<,” - Obama, just yesterday.
I'm sure they can call it a tax or something. the Illegal American Immigration Dictat Tax. There, all legal now......
You know, I think the time for talking, reasoning and compromising is over. I for one won't be taking prisoners from any quarter, my rights aren't up for negotiation.
Yes. That ship has sailed. It is every man for himself. New game, no rules.....
Executive orders are as american as shooting unarmed black people

.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder."
Any port in a storm.
So say the seamen.
We are a nation built on the constitution. Laws that contravene the constitution are to be ignored. "Law-makers" who propose unconstitutional laws need to be removed. The law must be applied to the rich as well.
Woodrow Wilson and FDR, who would have ever suspected ;-)
built on the rule of law
demolished by the law of rule
Exec orders seems to be one of those things with broad bipartisan support - just not when the other guy is in office.
If by "bi-partisan" you mean elites selling the people down the river, I guess so.
Except that he didn't use an Executive Order. Check out the White House website--nothing posted under EOs since Oct. 17. Hused an internal memo to Jeh Johnson, which is even worse, and has gotten virtually zero visibility.
That does not make them right or constitutional anymore than the grand jury in Ferguson not indicting the cop makes him "innocent".
Try again Cole. The endless bootlicking of the regime gets old.
There is nothing "American" about executive orders. That expression is still reserved for the ideal on which this SOCIETY was founded-take your government fascist vomit and do not co-opt that word as well.
Nmewn, our co possi from the leftist liberal technocrats just threw down the OGrubering.
Just.....
Hope, Hope and Change!!!
It's just the law man, no big deal..... As they say, we shall not abide.
Zero is a total piece of shit. Complete and utter. It's past saying a political response.
That motorist in Minnesota wasn't "taking any prisoners from any quarter" either in defense of his rights. Let's see how that works out for him. He is already being villified by the press as having "plowed" into a crowd (that incidentally were crawling all over his car--always a calming and peaceful event for the driver inside the car). I don't think that it will turn out well for him, especially if allegations are true that he has DUI priors. But the point not to be lost is that he made a decision which absolutely qualifies as taking no prisoners from any quarter in defense of his rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
So, keep that in mind bub. Ultimately you may have to make some decision too which the leftist press and peoples find offensive to their sensibilities. You will then need a lot of money with which to mount a legal defense after which you might still end up in jail.
It sucks when you think it through, huh?
PS. Haven't most of us (those with two testicles, anyway) told our wives, our fiances, our girlfriends to plow through a rioting crowd if they ever encounter that type of riotous danger swarming their vehicle? It sounded good when we gave that advisement. Didn't it? That advice would preclude them from being dragged from the car, beaten, raped, murdered.
Remind me to buy you the next round.
Who knew Obama could be such a comedian?
Speaking of comedians, Roseanne's Cosby joke backfires badly:

Exactly! It's a Criminal Fraud UNITED STATES, CORP. INC. System run by Criminals & owned by Criminals. Laws do not exist, in name only. What we do have are Fraud Criminal Statutes, Ordiances, Codes, Acts & Mandates.

Funny. Watched that last Saturday night and was cracking up.
You know it's bad when the New York SNL gang takes a poke like that at Obama.
I hate to admit watching mainstream news but I watched some the other evening and was shocked to see them critical of Obama. More of the comedy shows are willing to make fun of him too. Something is indeed in the air.
Dont worry, theyll be backing Hitlery in no time. As if she will be any better than Obama.
Not to mention, the president is on his way out. The media can gang bang him for all I care, it doesn't matter at this point, he wont be running for any office ever again. So theyll beat up on him and say what we need in the white house is a womans touch to set things straight... just kill me now ffs
I agree, nothing's "in the air", just more capable manipulation of all the reactive thinking sheople.
Please tell me it will be on Pay-per-view....or at least the YewTewbz!!!
Uh... yeah... it's called the last 2 years. It's the time when the party of an unpopular puppet -- I mean president, distances itself so their next puppet -- I mean candidate has a "chance" in the election farce.
nailed it
LoL - a friend showed that to me a couple nights ago. The good news is, it was trending on Facebook of all places, which I don't do and why he had to show it to me.
In 1985 Bank crisis, THOUSANDS OF BANKSTERS went to jail.
In the 2009 crisis ONE Bankster went to jail, and he gave himself up (Madox).
Yep we are a country of LAWS.....
Just FUCK OFF
We Corzined some folks.
The liberal technocrats didn't do anything except run their mouths, as usual. Not one conviction took place under their leadership, read, not one!
These bastards need a fine place to enjoy history and their last days......
Is anyone here actually surprised?
Doubt it.......
And for you pieces of shit trying to spin the clowns, go fuck yourselves.
Hope, Hope and Change!!!
You all just got OGrubered!!!!!
Schoolhouse Rock, back when bills became laws the old-fashioned way: bribery.
Not funny especially because of the people that have already died because of it. Actually it is an immoral video. The subject should not be taken that lightly. When all hell is staring at you it is best not to act like a freakin moron.
I don't connect with what specifically you are saying. Are you referencing folks dying trying to get here? I did not mark you down.
I think it he is saying he feels it is disgusting to trivialize the wanton destruction of the rule of law in this country, especially considering the vast human toll spent in the defense thereof.....
I think you're reading him right but, when the people "running" this freak show have been trivializing it for as long as the have (pick you theory here), it's nice to have it addressed in MSM at some level anyway.
I agree to an extent, however the manner in which it was packaged guarantees it to not be taken seriously, especially considering the target audience. Naturally I would prefer to see thousands of people demanding accountability from both the Media and Government for having such a cavalier attitude about such serious matters and having the indecency to shove it down our throats under the guise of entertainment. Sadly it appears as though the only realistic and sane approach to the issue, for those of us who still remotely give a shit, may very well be to laugh if off. Otherwise.........?
I see your point.. ... didn't look at it that way. My thought was that most people that weren't "of a certain age" wouldn't fucking get it anyway so maybe the experienced crowd might get a little riled. But yeah, maybe they're just trying to keep the slightly older dumb-fucks entertained. Aaaaaaaaand - I'm a little depressed now.
And q99x2, please do add at least 2 more of your cents - old boys weren't tryin to jack your action
Lunatic,
I can get the rage, if you are correct. Feel it a little, actually.
On the other hand, often it is only the court jester that can say the truth in front of the king, without being executed immediately. More important that the truth gets out.
The use of the executive order is outrageous and needs to be more than just questioned. It is an overwhelming "Fuck you" to the constitution.
The King does not mind the Court Jester dancing in the blood of innocents. I do.
I think severe injustice is done to a very serious issue my marginalizing it in such fashion. Maybe It was an attempt at satire, maybe it was just more juvenile SNL garbage. I remember when T.V. first started to marginalize and dumb down the American male. Look where we are now....
>>>considering the vast human toll spent in the defense thereof.....
Next to no American lives have been spent in the defense of "the rule of law".
Here and there, now and then, yes. But mostly the Americans who "die for their country" have done so in other peoples' lands, in service to God-knows-who, or what.
I find it difficult to talk to the paraplegic young vets I encounter from time to time; some of these guys may truly be heroes, but I can't help thinking of them as suckers.
Eat shit, better yet, someday when SHTF come on back and say sucker, you complete LibTard'.
Hope, Hope and Change!!!!
Yep.
All you "fuck off libtard" responses can at any point in the discussion try to prove the assertion wrong.
You cannot.
My Uncle was in Vietnam. Please tell me what point of our "rule of law" he was defending while he was roaming around as a green beret in places and at times that the DOD adamantly denies to this day?
Please tell me what "freedom" my brothe-in-law was defending when he flew choppers through the high rises in Panama?
Please tell me what "liberty" my direct relative Benjamin Rush codified when he signed the Declaration of Independence? OH, WAIT... Now we're on to something. Those guys were heroes.
No I have not "served" and I up an until the threat to our "rule of law" or "freedom" is here on our shores I will not. But perhaps even that needs examination since the GREATEST threat to those values is the entity FOR which all the "heroes" have fought and died for nearly two CENTURIES-The Government of The United States of America.
All you folks with the "fuck off" knee jerk reaction to August's post might want to re-think your position. And perhaps read Smedley Butler. Or speak to vets. From Vietnam. From Iraq, Afpak, etc.
And no I do not hate "this country". I despise THIS GOVERNMENT and feel nothing but pity for those who have slaughtered and been slaughtered serving such an evil beast.
If you follow that slick of bacon grease and the trail of bobbing Coke for Zeroes bottles in the ocean, you *might* catch that boat you missed!
Well, then lead the way, oh wise one! Perhaps you can correct some political "problems" with one of these...
We broke some laws. And trampled on the Constitution.
-Barrack Obama, CONstitutional Skolar
If you want your kidney... The rest is semantics.
ah yes, the "Rule of Law*"
*laws drafted by corporations for their paid off congressmen to pass.
*laws drafted by nutjobs to placate placate their base while cramming them full of enough pork to get them passed
*laws drafted by rich white men to get richer.
Don't worry, if you are not happy, you can go out and vote and get new people into government, who will either be bought off prior to even taking office, or (in the rare case of them refusing to sell out) face such large opposition that they get literally nothing done and are driven out of office asap.
it's almost as if the entire system is fucking broken, and thanks to the concept of legal precedence, unelected "officials" get to make up the law as they go along and oops, that's the law of the land now. And surely, those judges, who never really have to face elections or anything like that will be totally impartial and never be bought off by parties with vested interests, or pressured to comply with the demands of congressmen from their district who sold out long ago.
These laws you speak of. Did you ever think about 9 people who say what the law is, sometimes before congress or the president even get to say anything about it? They don't care what the president thinks. they don't care what the congress thinks, they don't care what the states think, and they don't care what you or I think. 9 people who can vote 5 to 4 and they tell everybody the way it's going to be.
Those 9 people gave themselves a power they simply did not have, and it has never been properly addressed or challenged.
It has nothing to do with "the rule of law" JUNIOR! Grow Up!~\
What part of the "He who owns the GOLD" part did you miss. Do you think you magically bombarded Z/H with your friendliness?
I still don't like you after almost 4 years.
SCOTUS has arrogated power unto itself that the constitution does not grant.
We need to limit their terms to 10 years on the federal bench at all levels, cumulatively......Meaning sum total of all federal judge levels.......10 years is long enough.

The SOURCE of the rule of law is the conservation of energy. I present that as a physical observation, which has been confirmed by experiments, and redundantly confirmed by the ways that when the conservation of energy appeared to be violated, a deeper level of observations continued to demonstrate that the applicable principle was the conservation of energy.
There are certainly more dimensions through which energy is conserved, so that we do NOT have any finished theory of the conservation of energy. But nevertheless, the basic explanations of contemporary science are that everything operates as general energy systems, through which the principle of the conservation of energy appears to manifest, as a physical law.
HOWEVER, the ONLY connection between the human "rule of law" and the laws of nature, is the ability to back up lies with violence. Most of the notions that various people promote about how there should be a basis of "natural law" for human laws are grossly superficial, since those tend to promote the same old false-fundamental dichotomies, and related impossible ideals, as the proper basis for human laws. However, the real basis of human laws is the ability to back up lies with violence. Human realities are always organized lies operating robberies. Governments are always the biggest form of organized crime, dominated by the best organized gangs of criminals.
Some Americans, during some of American history (say for about the first hundred years after the American Revolution), felt that they were more "in the club" of those to whom the rule of law, with its checks and balances, were being applied. However, it is obvious that no notions of transcendental justice or fairness applied to the American Natives, nor the slaves of African origin, during that period of time. The natives and slaves were NOT considered as "human beings" to whom the idealized "rule of law" of the American state applied.
After the international bankers, as the biggest gangsters, or the banksters, were able to recapture control over the American public "money" supply, at an exponential rate, developing for more than a Century, more and more of the American citizens were discovering that they no longer were "in the club," to whom the idealized rule of law applied, but rather, we being treated more and more like the slaves were originally treated, while they are probably headed towards finally being treated like the American Natives were originally treated.
Real human history has primarily been shaped by warfare, during which processes social successes were based upon deceits and treacheries, as the methods which were best to employ to win wars, by backing up deceits with destruction. Upon that basis was later built the political economy based upon enforced frauds, as the result of the banksters persistently and systematically applying the methods of organized crime to dominate the political processes, in order to achieve the currently established systems of legalized lies, backed by legalized violence, which have been getting BIGGER, FASTER, at an exponential rate, which drove the apparent "rule of law," along with its idealized checks and balances, into rampant, runaway self-destruction, due to the paradoxical final failure of enforced frauds, because the force can never stop making those frauds be false, but rather, the spiral of backing up bigger legalized lies with more legalized violence drives society as a whole to become criminally insane, in ways whereby the runaway debt slavery generates numbers which become debt insanities, which then will provoke death insanities.
By and large, the vast majority of Americans were brainwashed to believe in the biggest bullies' bullshit social stories. During the last Century or so, that kind of bullshit has primarily being spouted by the banksters, and the political and social institutions, where the banksters' dominance of the public "money" supply were then able to ratchet that racket up and UP, to become more control over things like public education and the mass media, etc. ... On a deeper level, the banksters were also able to continue the processes of controlling the opposition through the same means, as was also the case through most of human history.
The result of the degree of domination of civilization by the banksters has resulted in there being no significant public opposition that is not controlled. Therefore, the only significant public opposition can be described as that promoted by reactionary revolutionaries, who propose bogus "solutions" based on going backwards to their preferred old-fashioned religions or ideologies, as their response to the currently runaway dominance of the existing American State Religions, which are its monetary system and national security, both of which are manifesting the maximum possible frauds and deceits, due to the long history of social pyramid systems being based on the ability to back up lies with violence.
I suggest that we should go through a series of intellectual scientific revolutions, as the source of the inspirations for some Second American Revolution, which would have to become globalized to become sufficiently successful. The idealized notions regarding the "rule of law," along with its checks and balances, that were the basis of the original American Constitution, have been almost totally undermined and eroded by the real ways that the best organized gangsters, the banksters, were able to recapture control over the American public "money" supply, and then leverage that up and UP to capture control over almost everything that governments were doing.
Most people appear to not want to understand that, while the few that do then typically propose bogus solutions based on going backwards to the ideals that were supposed to be the basis of the original American Constitution. However, in my view it is bootless to continue to propose developing any idealized human "rule of law" which deliberately ignores the progress made in other sciences and technologies, which were based upon paradigm shifts towards better understanding of general energy systems, which required appreciating more unitary mechanisms, rather than continuing to presume upon the validity of false fundamental dichotomies, and their related impossible ideals.
Since the already established debt slavery system, put in place by the banksters, had a structure which drove that to develop at an exponential rate, each President has presided over the situation getting worse faster. Roughly speaking President Obama was twice as bad as President Bush II. Furthermore, as long as the current systems stay the same, the next President would have to preside over the situation doubling how bad it was yet again.
The idealized "rule of law" is obviously breaking down, at a faster rate. However, it is the same old dysfunctional bullshit to propose bogus "solutions" to that situation based on going back to the previous ways that the idealized "rule of law" was expressed. Rather, we should go through revolutions in the philosophy of science, which then apply to political science, as the basis for the kind of intellectual scientific revolution that we need for a Second American Revolution, along with similar events all around the world.
THE BASIC PROBLEM IS THAT THE SOCIAL PYRAMID SYSTEMS, WHICH HAVE DEVELOPED THROUGH THE HISTORY OF NEOLITHIC CIVILIZATIONS, ARE BASED ON BEING ABLE TO BACK UP LIES WITH VIOLENCE, WHILE THOSE SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN MAGNIFIED MANY ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE BY PROGRESS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. HOWEVER, NOTHING LIKE THAT HAS YET BEEN ALLOWED TO HAPPEN WITHIN POLITICAL SCIENCE, DUE TO THE DEGREE THAT SOCIETY WAS DOMINATED BY ENFORCED FRAUDS.
The real "rule of law" depended upon some human beings' ability to control other human beings, using the methods of lies backed by violence, which became more sophisticated systems of legalized lies backed by legalized violence. However, there are NO genuine solutions which could be based on continuing to regard those social facts through the dualities of false fundamental dichotomies, and their related impossible ideals. Rather, we should develop a more scientific understanding of society, and thus, a more scientific society, which better understood how and why the ONLY connection between human laws and natural laws was the ability to back up lies with violence, which awareness gradually might be able to develop better dynamic equilibria between the different systems of organized lies operating robberies.
The basic problem now is that the ruling classes have been too successful for too long in promoting their bullshit social stories, including controlling the opposition to the established systems. That included ways that the philosophy of science was perverted, as well as deeper ways that our natural languages were developed. A good enough Second American Revolution would have to assimilate a better understanding of how and why there was developed globalized electronic frauds, backed by the force of atomic bombs.
Returning to a better rule of law, with better checks and balances, is theoretically possible, but if and only if enough people were to stop believing in the banksters' bullshit, which is mostly the same bullshit world view being promoted by most of the controlled opposition groups. There are no ways to change the fundamental facts that private property does not exist outside of some system of public violence. All private property is based on backing up claims with coercions, while money is measurement backed by murder.
In that context, a better return to any more functional rule of law, with more effective checks and balances, would have to go beyond the superficial notions of going backwards, to any old-fashioned religions or ideologies. Rather, it would have to be by going forwards to a more scientific understanding of human societies, which would require understanding in more profound ways the manner in which human energy systems necessarily operated according to the principles and methods of organized crime.
The only way to develop a genuinely better rule of law would be to have greater respect for natural laws, and thus, the real relationships between human laws and natural laws. The facts are that governments have always been the biggest form of organized crime, controlled by the best organized gangs of criminals. Any "solutions" that propose stopping that from happening are merely more of the same old-fashioned bullshit, which has always backfired badly throughout human history.
The only realistic ways to develop a better rule of law, with better checks and balances, would be to develop better organized crime, as the reality of better government. Of course, that is what the reality of any Second American Revolution would necessarily entail. The issue is whether enough people would be able to understand that enough? Furthermore, would such radical truth be able to be shared with enough other people all around the world?
Generally speaking, we live in a Bizarro Mirror World Fun House, where everything appears proportionately backwards and distorted. That also applies to the controlled opposition to the established systems. Therefore, the controlled opposition groups continue to promote bogus "solutions" based on impossible ideals, which actually continue to cause the opposite to happen in the real world.
I recommend that we should understand how and why militarism is the supreme ideology. Militarism is the ideology of the murder systems. Militarism has always been the oldest and best developed form of social science and social engineering. However, its history was based on being successful through deceits and treacheries, which resulted in social slavery systems almost totally based on lies backed by violence, which have become the current forms of enforced frauds, which are the foundation of our currently established systems, where the powers of the government of the USA were effectively privatized, and thereby controlled by the banksters and their buddies.
What I suggest is that more radical truths about that situation require that we face the facts that the murder systems are the most important systems. The only ways to have any genuinely better Second American Revolution, which could then be adequately globalized, would require revolutions in the ways that we think about the death controls, in order to develop better systems of death controls. Of course, as the established systems of debt slavery continue to drive debt insanities, and those continue to threaten to provoke death insanities, saner death controls, to back up saner debt controls, appear like nothing more than political science fiction and fantasy.
The real social facts are that the President of the USA is degenerating into a political puppet whose strings are becoming so entangled that, more and more, he looks like an out of control dictator, abusing the basis of his power in madly self-destructive ways. President Obama has continued the destruction of the rule of law, at an exponential rate, the same as previous Presidents were also doing ... The destruction of the rule of law is feeding a monster that will eventually destroy those that originally fed that monster. That out of control monster can cause collapses into crazy chaos ... Whether or not "we" will survive through that is an open question ... Typically, in human history, there have been the rise and fall of civilizations. That often presented the pattern of some periods of chaos, out of which emerged some new order, which was relatively stable for a while, until it became madly self-destructive, thus precipitating another period of collapsing into chaos. That appears to be playing through in the American case, except on an astronomically amplified scale!
In my view, there is no hope other than the irrational hope in a Second American Revolution, which was inspired and guided by intellectual scientific revolutions in the philosophy of science, which applied to political science, in ways which could transform the combined money/murder systems to manifest some Translithic Civilization, that went beyond the ways that the current social pyramids of Neolithic Civilizations have operated through backing up lies with violence. However, actually doing that would require greater use of information, enabling higher consciousness, about how human beings operated their murder systems, to back up their monetary systems.
... In the meantime, what we are witnessing is the current government, covertly controlled by the banksters, driving its debt slavery systems through to debt insanities, which are going to provoke death insanities. My attitude toward that is based on irrational hopes for some better understanding of those processes, to enable that to be better catalyzed ... HOWEVER, IT APPEARS THE DOMINATE THEME IS THAT THE RUNAWAY ABUSE OF THE POWERS OF GOVERNMENT IS SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL!

It would be easier for you to place the link!

Actually, it would be easier to shut up with your drivel.....
you are living justification for keeping marijuana illegal
Like I said the other day, the US is no longer a nation built on the rule of law but a nation that has been demolished by the laws of its rulers.
You have become a nation that lives in fear.
Fear of losing what little they have.
People afraid to speak his mind.
Ordinary people monitored by the state.
An entire nation at the mercy of "Democracy" of bread and wine killing people of other nations to maintain their "status quo"!
Rome ended well.
Unfortunately you have followed suit.
: - /
We have become a nation built on Harvard law which according to the illustrious professor of law, one Doctor Barack Hussein Obama, is in constant flux since his Constitution is a living and breathing document which can change its mind as often as a precocius young girl. Nothing good has come out of Harvard or any other Poison Ivy League college in 40 years.
A nation built on bullshit and it stinks more now than ever before
"Rule of law" applies to you NOT them, just like privatizing the gains and socialized the losses......
The rule of law is only applicable to the average citizen with severity but does not applies to certain special friends of the tribe . Think about the banks , the politicians that smuggle Cocaine and the CIA who is the biggest wholesaler of Drugs in the world .
But if citizen joe Blow dares to sell a few grams of drugs then the law is applied with severity . How about hipocrisy ? How about , the members of the policie force and the justice department ? Does the law applies to them ?
If the rule of law is not applied averywhere , it becomes the law of the jungle where everybody is on his own .
Every fucking dictatorship is built on the rule of law - by TPTB and their minions. Fuck the laws and those that make them.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Somethings never change.

SNL is really coming along, they are thinking in terms of process now; constitutionally speaking, they are bringing to the attention of the sheeple that EOs, by any president, are an end run around the constitution and the people. Not bad for a show from progressive NY. Hope?
There is no mystery behind the unprecedented fascist action of Obama’s “executive order” on Immigration.
Our American Democracy (government of, for and by the people) our American Free Enterprise System (free from corporate monopoly) of capitalism and our American Rule of Law have been overthrown by the fascist (merger of corporate monopoly with government) multinational corporate Empire. The Robert’s Supreme Court are the founding fathers to a new 21st. Century fascist global Empire.
The Democrats and the Republicans are totally corrupted and captured by the fascist in control of Washington.
Obama’s fascist actions are in lock-step with fascist Congress and UN Agenda 21st. Century that has under-mined your local government today. The Washington fascist secret trade agreements to overthrow our American Sovereignty via the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the North American Union are well known and documented.
The last vestige of the United States of America is its National Sovereignty. Mission Accomplished!
Congratulations to the 21st. Century Fascist that took down the grand ole United States of America from within especially Congress, Supreme Court, Counsel on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and the fascist crew of the Bush/Obama fascist regime in Washington.
You will see more “executive order” fascist actions from puppet Obama before the end of his term.
