"The Best Slave Is A Slave That Doesn't Know He's A Slave" - America Today In 4 Pictures

Tyler Durden's picture

This is why America is in the shape that it's in...

The best slave is a slave that doesn't know he's a slave.

I agree on GMO, in fact I oppose TTIP strongly because of the attempts of the big agro-businesses to allow all GMO in the EU

but fluoridated water? yes, in many places it's not necessary to fluoridate it. laziness, indeed. Yet I don't see the downside, besides extra costs

"who has been forced to..."

Since GMO foods and their derivatives are not, by law, required to be labeled in most of the USA, it is highly likely that you yourself have been "forced" to eat GMOs without your knowledge or consent.

stacking12321's picture

seek_truth, you should seek the truth, instead of stretching the truth.

just because someone doesn't label that something is gmo, doesn't mean they are forcing you to eat it.

do you understand what the word "forcing" means?

if someone is holding a gun to your head and saying you must eat this, then yes, they are forcing you.

if you are eating it of your own volition, there is no forcing involved.

Using your fuzzy "logic", the powers that be could (unbeknownst to you) poison the entire food supply, yet they would not be "forcing" you to eat poison food.

As an alternative, you could always starve yourself to death, but you would have no reason to do so, since you are not aware of the fact that the food you are eating is poisoned.

This word "forced" does not mean (is not limited to) what you think it means.

Sun, 11/30/2014 - 04:29 | 5500927 stacking12321
stacking12321's picture

that's a bad example - in that situation, you could say they are poisoning you, or tricking you into eating poision, but you could not say they are forcing you to do it.

unless you are comfortable with telling lies, and making up new meanings for the word "force". if you don't know what the word force means, look it up, google is your friend.

it's too bad that you'd rather whine about "the powers that be" and how they are "forcing" you, instead of taking responsibility for your own life.

i have no sympathy.

p.s. i suggest changing your name to: Make_Up_Truth

No need to argue over the use of the word "forcing."  It is difficult to avoid GMO-based foods.  Also in many places, there are no options to fluorinated water. No one is holding a gun to anyones head.

Sun, 11/30/2014 - 04:27 | 5500946 stacking12321
stacking12321's picture

it is indeed true, that it can be difficult to avoid toxins.

however, yes there is a reason to argue over the word forcing, or any other dishonest use of words - someone who uses words dishonestly is a liar, and i will call them out on it.

The conspiracy to fluoridate water sources around the world is not new. This is the same force that fights water purity labeling requirements around the world and strangley enough is also in the GMO fight. The predator like to deploy all possible means against its cattle - GMO and fluoride are the ones we know about..

PTA meetings are set up such that people can feel like they are being listened to and nothing is actually done except what government wants done. Just like any 'town hall' meeting. When people ask difficult questions and don't accept bullshit answers they are dragged out by cops. It's become a pointless excersise.

Elections and voting. Vote between two status-quo choices. Again a pointless exercise and waste of time. When there is a third choice a few people make protest votes but it doesn't change anything.

As if voting or going to a PTA meeting is going to change anything.

I always went to meet with my kid's teachers, but PTA meetings were listening to Adminstrators tell you what .gov wanted.

I voted for over 30 years and things just got worse; my vote didn't matter - either because my candidate never got elected or the ones that did never did what they said they would do.

I will not line up to buy something like a cow going into the slaughter house.

Last time I did that was to get front row center stage seat tickets for the "Rush - Moving Pictures" tour, but it was worth it.

"... this is a case in which reality exceed imagination. I bet that Rod Serling, the creator of the famous series 'The Twilight Zone' couldn’t imagine such a scenario. And neither George Orwell could probably ever imagine, that one day, people would have the devices which describe in his famous book '1984' inside their houses, but they would press the button on their own will, due to their brain addiction, without actually anyone to enforce them to do it. That through the propaganda and the psychological terror, people would elect governments-servants of the systemic establishment through false democratic processes, leading themselves to deeper poverty and enslavement. That people would even reproduce the propaganda, although they would stop believe to the mouthpieces speaking through the devices."

PTA meeting? WTF is that? A way for control-freak "educators", parents, and qdmins to dream up new ways to indoctrinate and mold young minds into a system which works against them, even after death.

My kids are home-schooled.

Vote? What's that, and who does it benefit?

Haven't voted on anything since '04, and just recently de-registered.

Nobody can blame me for how bad things are, these days.

In my state all voting is done by mail, prior to that the local polling station was always packed.

I give PTA meetings a miss -- they've become nothing more than a fundraising club to gather money for things I generally disagree with or feel should be paid for with the heavy prop taxes I pay. PTA is neutered so nothing a parent says ever ends up influencing the classroom instruction.

The biggest change of late is at mydaughter's high school, which had a fantastic culinary education dept and student run lunch cafe -- it had to close because Michele Obama enacted a "healthy meal" law that somehow prevents fresh meals due to technicality.  Just unbelievable, now the kids are eating mass produced crap.  I can't get involved with such stupidity.

It should be called PHTA

Parents Holding Teachers Accountable

Just like every other pubic servant there needs to be direct and actionable oversight by the public where they are held personally and financially accountable for their actions

That disconnect and most people willingly delegating their authority and responsibility is killing America quickly

That's one reason I believe that the crushing of dissent now, including things like calling everyone that stands up for their rights a Sovereign Citizen, is the right reaction. When the criminals stop pushing back and submit to the authority of the people that's when you'll know the scale has tipped the other way towards freedom. And when they don't submit the people have to pull the same shit on the servants that the terrorists did to Paffrath

Hmm...  classic case of chicken and the egg....  if people participated in School boards than maybe the quality of education would improve...... if more people took the time to vote in primaries than maybe the elections would truly matter...

The Doomstead Dinner had a discussion about just this the other day... The first starts with George Carlin, Why I don't Vote.. then continues on....  (there is also a section on "Japan going Full Retard"...)

http://www.doomsteaddiner.net/blog/2014/11/04/fork-the-morton-dont-vote/

and then a response as to why it still is important to get involved.....

There is merit to both arguments...  me... I have thrown in the towel a long time ago and lean toward the George Carlin pov.  But I still hold my nose and vote.  lol

Consider that national POLLS on various subjects are based on 1000 to 2000 people under the assumption that they represent the nation.  However liberals complain that a "low" election turnout of 40million voters (who rejected liberalism) is not a true indication of how the nation feels.  Does anyone see the inconsistency?

Sun, 11/30/2014 - 01:44 | 5500810 petkovplamen
petkovplamen's picture

you are infering that:

0. "liberalism" exists

1. all/most polls are liberal

then you tie 3 false assumptions together. Yes there is inconsistency in your logic.

PTA non-attendance at Shitty Government Run Indoctrination Centers called "Public Schools" have no parent attendance because the .GOV useless eaters we call Administrators schedule meetings during hours convenient for their .GOV asses. At least this is the case in my local district from what I have heard of local parents. I send my kids to private school.

OK. I work with PTA/PTOs every day. The lower the income rate,(community) the lower the participation rate. Lower income families complain the most, but they do nothing about it.  Higher income school areas, PTA Membership is actually competitive. It really is CHICKEN LITTLE - keep em dumb.

I wouldn't expect too much of the Swiss people. They are about as dumbed down as any other national. Better educated than most, surely, but an educated fool is still a fool. They love the convenience of their fiat as much as any other sheeple, and I don't remember them raising too much fuss when their silver was withdreawn and their franks became debased junk.

Only a major currency event will shake people enough to make them think about what money is.

Amazing really, when we think about it. We all work or scam or beg or do whatever to get that money and so few of us understand what it is, how it works and how the banksters are cheating us all out of our share.

I will be pleasantly surprised if the Swiss referendum turns up a YES vote.

At the public high school my daughter attended the teachers are, for the most part, high quality, but they're gradually being driven elsewhere or driven to despair by low IQ, inexperienced, and totally unqualified administrators and counselors who obtained their positions via preferential hiring treatment due to their Hispanic heritage and status as Spanish-speakers.

I've witnessed many teachers and coaches working their tails off and investing substantial amounts of their own time and personal monies trying to help underprivileged and struggling kids succeed and advance. Meanwhile, the school's administrators stand around with their hands in their pockets, eyes glazed over, doing less than nothing. Discipline is crumbling, kids do whatever they wish now, and no one does anything because Admin won't back them up. Counselors spend all day on Instagram or playing solitaire, while college-bound juniors and seniors are neglected or ignored altogether.

Any genuine efforts to change the status quo are blown off with flimsy excuses or blatant, poorly-crafted administration lies. So, those teachers able to find a vacancy elsewhere, transfer out. Those left behind have, for the most part, given up.

So Blacks and Latinos have a monopoly on incivility/trashiness? False. Just a smidgen of rational thought would lead even the dullest among us to the conclusion that trashy people exist in all demographics.

It makes you a slave who thinks, despite an abundance of evidence, that voting makes a difference as to your slavery.

A while back I stumbled upon a blog on WordPress .com written by Gerry Spence who was born and educated in the small towns of Wyoming where he has practiced law for almost fifty-five years. Spence  has spent his lifetime representing and protecting victims of the legal system from what he calls The New Slave Master: big corporations and big government.

Below is part of a post Spence published, he uses the line, "With its endless propaganda the Moneyed Master has caused its slaves to believe they are free." I agree with him, and also contend that while the military-industrial complex is still massive and evil we must now focus on our new worse enemy, in a nut shell we must also watch out for the "Government-Financial Complex".

The long chains of slavery starts with our bodies and their dependence on the earth for survival.  Its all just measurments in degrees from there.

We measure power of others or entities by their control of the resourses to our survival and the degree of control they have.

Next comes the positive or negitive application of that power.

I found that the parents of the kids who were doing well in the public school attended some (maybe not all) PTA meetings and "meet your kid's teachers days" and so forth.   I found that parents of students who were doing poorly did not show up as much.  I can't blame the parents who did not show up; maybe they had poor-paying jobs and long hours or something and simply COULD NOT come.  And I'm not saying there is a cause-and-effect relationship at work.  But, in life, we get choices, and the kids whose parents chose to show an active face at the school, tended to do better.

You can blame them because they are lazy fucks.  My wife and I both work full time.  When the school is begging for volunteers I use a vacation day and help out.  What I find is other professionals taking the day off to help their kids.  The unemployed and FSA mf-ers believe that they shouldn't waste their time helping the community and that the community owes them to the point that rich folks should have their taxes raised so schools could hire people instead of relying on volunteers.  I have a 10 year gap between 2 sets of kids so I have been a parent with school children for over 20 years.  The FSA knows that the system is going to take care of their kids now and when they are adults so they don't bother.  It is sad for their kids and obviously a detriment to everyone.

I stand corrected.  I do blame parents who don't attend and don't volunteer because they are lazy.  They owe their children better, and they also owe the other children in their children's school better.

"This separation of government from people, this widening of the gap, took place so gradually and so insensibly, each step disguised (perhaps not even intentionally) as a temporary emergency measure or associated with true patriotic allegiance or with real social purposes. And all the crises and reforms (real reforms, too) so occupied the people that they did not see the slow motion underneath, of the whole process of government growing remoter and remoter."

Re the Swiss vote: When the PTB are in panic and the media starts playing the funeral dirge for the end of the world, as I'm sure they did in Switzerland, it's very hard for most people to stand up to it.  They rarely lose elections they really care about.

I quit voting 16 years ago and have no regrets.  I recently saw a quote attributed to Winston Churchill, that the best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.  Most Americans are so incredibly ignorant it's hard to believe.  Voting is pure foolishness.

The sad fact is that America is Toasttm. 50 million useless eaters amounts to a permanent, to infinity and beyond, majority in the vote. Each one of them will vote to suck the blood from the other 250 million Former Americanstm to infinity and beyond. Many in the 250 million want to be leeched and they vote for politicians that continue to leach them.

The Fed also likes to keep the blood sucking at a modest 3% inflation but they really fudge the numbers and it is more like 10-20%. The "Feds" as in IRS like to take 15% off the top and in the end 30%. The "Feds" as in State likes 2% then 10%. Throw in Sales, Fuel, hidden Tax and we are at 67% blood sucking. This fuels movenment into the blood-sucking class of useless eaters often with babies thrown in for good measure. The useless eaters will always vote for more, more, more. War and EBT are the engines of Amerika.

The leeches in the end overwhelm the host as they have done for millenia.
