the difference between 1980 and now. that was the beginning of the end. volcker officially launched the credit machine after a few misstarts in the 70s(oil embargoes and stuff), detroit was dismantling, computers were the obvious future. 1980 was the beginning of supply side stockman economics(kennedy economics ironically) but the fuckers took it too far and have destroyed the muiddle class and almost all the social fabric of the orking class. i get a kick out of all this white trash here picking on easy to pick on black people(how did they get so far removed from the mainstream dysfunction to create an entirely new, seperate dysfunction of their own?) while ignoring their own cultural dysfunction. asians, ironically non christian, are the only subcultures in the usa with an intact social fabric(for how long?)
the bottom line is the weakness of the character of the white trash, black trash and hispanic trash results in animal like behavior on black friday. to be fair i remember a mad shopping rush for cabbage patch kids during that time that resulted in a crushing stampede, injuries and arrests. it was exceptional, however.
No worries. I am sure ZH will have a post shortly showing us how Putin has a plan for the American economy. Heck, there's no way us dumbass 'Mericans know anything. Just look to the east and Russia has all the answers.
