I hate plugging the same two books but please read Liars Poker and The Big Short (Inside The Doomsday Machine) by Michael Lewis. You don't have to buy the books, try the library. These two books will give you an understanding of the mechanisms in place and what you are up against.
Try The Creature From Jekyll Island (can't remember the author). It's not as easy to read but it should point you in the direction of a few suspects.
Now just keep reading Zero Hedge. Try looking at it's older articles too. Pretty soon you should have an understanding of some huge crimes being perpetrated against the population of the whole world. Should keep you busy for some time. I understand that this may be out of your jursidiction so you may have to hand the leads over to someone in that line of work. There is also the chance that the watchmen are being paid by the criminals. Please be careful.

Okay, now you go to the shabby side of a town. You look at the price of houses. Problem: By any reasonable metric, the only people who can afford to buy the cheapest houses in the cheapest suburbs are DOCTORS AND LAWYERS. But that is not what is happening. Poor people live in the poor part of town, middle class is living in the middle class part of town, rich people live in the rich part of town. But we've got the same problem as above. How can people afford to spend more than they earn? Double incomes? That explains how prices can double but it doesn't explain how prices can QUADRUPLE. Heaps of over-time? Heaps of undeclared income? Everyone up to their eyeballs in debt? Generous parents kicking in huge deposits for their kiddies? If this is too hard for you then please pass the problem on to one of your police buddies who likes doing maths. Or is a dislike of maths a pre-requisite for being a cop? (Sorry if that sounds bitchy, not supposed to be. Fact is that people skills is a very important part of policing, maybe compound interest and algebra skills have been accidentally / deliberately neglected.)

Yea, I never thought I would see a mass rally or protest with hundreds of thousands of people again (the last couple of tries in DC were lame and liw in numbers). This isn't huge or that violent (yet), but if cops keep this up, and the judicial system lets them get away with these actions - I could easily envision the return of massive protests -- and worse -- gun fights on the streets.

The entire point of a corporation is to shield the owners of the business from economic/legal blow-back if their corporation does something wrong/illegal.
So its pretty much a blanket statement that corporations are allowed to break the law, because the people in the corporation breaking the law, will not be held accountable.
The notion of limited liability for corporate entities was intended to limit the liability of shareholders to the amount of capital put at risk. It was never intended to shield officers, directors, employees and/or shareholders from criminal liability.
More recently, the idea that no corporate associated individual can be held accountable because no one can possibly know what the fuck is going on in the corporation is an invention of hired prosecutorial help such as Eric Holder and his replacement Loretta Lynch.
Curiously, prosecutors were able to bring an organization adept at using the "I don' know nuttin defense" to it's knees. Somehow, we are expected to believe that the legal tactics used to bring down the Mafia such as the RICO Act, cannot not be used against organized criminals such as Blankfein and Dimon.

You don't have to worry about anyone taking the tunnel, because that shits like 7.50$ for cars and like 15~30$ for vans / trucks and tunnel is only two lanes that empties into a red light, so everyone taking the tunnel would just clog it up anyway, and I doubt people want to spend 1 hour in a tunnel under 60 Feet of dirt and water breathing car exhaust.
All these protesters have to do is drive 5 shit-box cars onto the bridge and put them in park and throw the keys off the bridge.... done deal the traffic would be ground to a halt for most of the day.
The bridges and tunnels are the Achilles heal of New York =/ sucks, I hate the BQE its already slow as hell as it is.... doesn't need this shiot.

In anycase, if you stopped traffic accross all bridges to New York for say 5~9 days.... it would look like the Apocalypse in NY, people would be starving and fleeing for their lives . . . as groccery stores empty completely.
The cars would be fairly easy to remove, and remove quickly.

The two recent grand juries who failed to indict cops - not even find them guilty, but just require they stand trial - are intended to demonstrate to the people that the police are above the law. If anything, they'll arrest and shoot more black people now, because there are zero personal consequences for doing so.

Actually seems to be a lot of concensus on this from the left and right about the Dept of Justice investigating except on Faux News. At the very least, NYC is going to face a large civil suit and I am willing to bet settle out of court because they almost certainly lose.
One time too the Feds should come in and investigate this. This was at the very least manslaughter if not homicide by the office who was following a policy the Dept had officially banned (and he knew about), he has multiple priors with excessive force against blacks, and the whole thing was caught on video tape clear as day with audio. In amongst the bile spitting at cops (justified or otherwise), it just strikes me the number of protesters aren't that large given the apparently emotive issue and background dissatisfaction in general with the government/powers that be/economy etcetc. My point being, if enough people were feeling pissed-off enough, massive numbers would have mobilised in the order of tens or hundreds of thousands so that the original rallying point got lost and it became a general groundswell against what is a pretty sick system (I'm not limiting that to the US - it's a western thing generally). I'm just surprised, that's all - would have expected more on the streets. Perhaps the somatisation is working.
Protesters also need to be going after Obama, Holder, Pelosi, Reid, the NSA, Bloomberg, Killary, politicians and judges, all of whom are trampling on our Constitutional rights. These criminals are the ones pulling the cops' puppet strings.

This can go from bad to worse in the blink of an eye. It is not neccessarily a race thing. It is a police state thing. I recently had a flat tire in a sleepy NW Chicago suburb on a two way street that was tree lined with no shoulder. I was changing the tire when a cop rolled up. He got out of his car and watched me and made small talk. As I put the flat back in the trunk ten minutes later he asked to see my ID. He had already asked me where I lived, none of his business. I asked him why he needed my ID. I heard him running my plate number as he rolled up on me as his window was open and it was a quiet street. He said it was "procedure." I had a decision to make. Comply or call the wife from lock up for bail money. Any guess what I did? Every time cops form holiday "check lanes" because you may have been drinking and force you to pull over you have been violated. We have a right to privacy in our residences and property. NO longer.
We all know the teeter-totter. Balanced in the middle with equal weight kids playing can be fun. The heavy hand of the cops being the fat kid on the one side of the teeter-totter is becoming more and more evident. My suburb has 100k people and 190 sworn patrol cops. They shop,,, educate their kids, get their hair cuts,,, play ball in nite leagues, when and if it really hits the fan,,, they will take care of their families. I don't wish for anarchy but wishes and dreams would make us all kings and queens and that just isn't so.
