Fight Breaks Out In Parliament When Ukraine Learns It Has Quietly Become The Newest US State

Tyler Durden's picture

It appears not all the government members approve of the new foreign-born members of the Ukraine parliament... as this fight just broke out...

And the result when other members discovered this...

The fight occurred after the majority of people's deputies supported the draft resolution on the appointment of the number of (foreign) members of parliamentary committees.

After the vote, the People's Deputy Vladimir Parasyuk began requiring word in explanation of vote, but the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman refused it...

*  *  *

We don't blame them for wanting to know how they just became the newest US State...

*  *  *

Here the 3 new (foreign-born) members of Ukraine's parliament...

As RFERL reports,

Three foreigners -- Natalie Jaresko, Aivaras Abromavicius, and Aleksandr Kvitashvili -- were approved as ministers by Ukraine's parliament on December 2.

President Petro Poroshenko said their appointment, which has raised some eyebrows in Ukraine, was part of an effort to find "innovative solutions in the government" due to the "extraordinary challenges facing Ukraine."

Poroshenko naturalized all three hours before their confirmation by parliament.

All have given up their citizenships to comply with Ukraine's constitutional ban on dual citizenship.=

Natalie Jaresko, United States -- Finance Minister

Jaresko, who has Ukrainian roots, has lived in the country for more than two decades.

She moved to Kyiv in 1992, just months after Ukraine gained independence from the Soviet Union, to head the economic department of the newly opened U.S. embassy.

Prior to her relocation, she held various economic positions in the U.S. State Department.

She holds a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from DePaul University in Chicago.

In 1995, she left the U.S. Embassy to work for the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), an equity fund financed by the U.S. government, where she rose to the position of chief executive officer.

She established her own fund, Horizon Capital, in 2004.

During the Orange Revolution, Jaresko made no secret of her sympathies for the pro-Western uprising. She went on serve on then-President Viktor Yushchenko's Foreign Investors Advisory Council.

With the United States facing accusations of political meddling in Ukraine, Jaresko's new role has raised eyebrows.

U.S. State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf has already denied Washington had any hand in her appointment.

Jaresko says the new cabinet of ministers intends to "change the country, improve transparency and eliminate corruption."

Speaking to parliament on December 2, she declared her readiness to "take on challenges."

Jaresko faces a tough job warding off economic collapse, battling corruption, and reforming Ukraine's economy as the country continues to fight an armed insurgency in the east.

Aivaras Abromavicius, Lithuania -- Economy Minister

Like Jaresko, Abromavicius is no newcomer to Ukraine.

Born in Vilnius, Lithuania, the investment banker has lived in Kyiv since 2008 and has a Ukrainian wife.

He is a partner and fund manager at the East Capital asset management group.

The group is a major player in Ukraine, where it invested almost $100 million in 2012.

Abromavicius describes himself as a Ukrainian patriot and has pledged "radical measures" to overhaul the country's battered economy.

He claims he hasn't yet discussed his ministerial salary, which he said he expected to be "very small."

He has voiced hope that his "efforts and experience will help Ukraine reach a totally different level of economic development, bring transparency and openness to government's work."

Aleksandr Kvitashvili, Georgia -- Health Minister

Kvitashvili served as health minister in his native Georgia between 2008 and 2010, under then-President Mikheil Saakashvili.

He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Tbilisi State University and a master's degree from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in New York.

After graduating in 1993, he did a brief stint working in the United States at the Atlanta Medical Center as an administrative and finance officer.

He returned to Georgia the same year to work for the United Nations Development Program.

He has since held positions at a number of healthcare-related organizations, including the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the Curatio International Foundation, the East/West Institute in New York, and the Transatlantic Partners Against AIDS organization.

Kvitashvili was rector of Tbilisi State University between 2010 and 2013.

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has tasked Kvitashvili with introducing sweeping reforms to tackle rampant corruption among health authorities.

Despite his recent arrival in Ukraine, Kvitashvili, who does not speak Ukrainian, professes "deep respect for Ukraine and its people."

"I've been working on reforms in Ukraine for the past three months, but my love [for] this country has a much longer history," he said on December 2.

Have you ever entertained the thought that Russia regaining Crimea could be in the interest of the USA ?

Actually, I have.  But I don't see how the USSA profited by Russian reclaiming the Crimea for the reasons I gave above.  If the USSA needed an excuse to start a cold war with Russia, they could concoct  countless reasons, gay rights, Muslim rights, Syria, etc etc and still keep Crimea.  No, the USSA needed Crimea to fund their Ukrainian project.True, they can subsidize the Ukraine but this is not the same as asset stripping and running away with the profits.

Further, without the Donbass, the Ukies also lack coal for their power plants.  This has turned into a mess for the EU, who will have millions of refugees streaming over their borders as the country economically implodes.

I think this is a power play to cripple or greatly hinder the Russian Navy. Take away their warm water acess to the Atlantic Ocean and that puts Russia at a massive disadvantage. Turkey also plays into this geopolitical play, but it appears they have swung into the arms of a welcoming Mother RUssia with the recent South Stream Pipeline deal.

So what does the appointment of a few smarmy Israeli Duel Citizens have to do with anything? I really dont know, but it cant be good for the Ukies. My best guess is that it a fulfilment of a contract of some sort or a backroom deal. Im really having a hard time wrapping my mind around of this. I see the plays pretty well and understand them, but this is something different. This is a "business as usual" play and it makes no sense.

Max Steel, I think it is a sign of weakness and desperation.  The Coup was brilliantly carried out, but now is a bust. The USSA is afraid that the Ukies will re concile with Russia, once they finally figure out  they are well and truly fucked without her.  I am willing to bet that the average Ivan Smithovich has no interest in dying on behalf of the Kiev Criminal regime.

LL,

I have traveled across the country a few times, I was there the first time during the Orange Revolution. It has the best soil on the planet and in general is quite beautiful. There were are real problems, most of which I attribute to the swarms of NGO's that were helping. It didn't take too musch effort to find out that the tribe was in control, It was the first time that I became livid at the intentional social destruction that I saw.

I still didn't connect the dotsm though. It was only when I started digging into 911 that my world view crystalised.

Ukraine is a beautiful land that has been ruined by what I would call Neo Bolsheviks. It's really not about ideolgy - it;s simply theft.

The Ukrainian government doesn't pay for gas, doesn't pay for coal. Blackouts are inevitable unless Obama sends American coal.

Mr. Toad's wild ride is set to begin, so get in, shut up and hang on, Ukraine! We gonna be rootin' tootin' lootin' all of your shit, like we did to Russia in the 1990's. What's that? You say you've never heard about that incident? WWIII is on it's way. I'd like to personally thank Porkyschenko for his invaluable assistance in getting the ball rolling along those lines. But the biggest thanks go to the International financial institutions who truly made this possible. Banksters, plutocrats, oligarchs, monarchists, economists and the like for ignoring MAD. After all, with pre-emptive strike capabilities decided for all, without debate, who needs life? btw, anybody on ZH got an underground city for me to go? I'm petite and thin and I don't eat much; also am in wonderful physical condition to be used as serf labor in your bunker-city. Please let me know how and when to apply!

And one doesn't have to sympathize with the Russians a whole lot to oppose this empire.  As most of America continues to be pauperized by the .01%, we see that there is a downside to our rulers' hegemony.

The 0.01% rule everywhere, whether it's Russia or here. What difference does it make whether you're "ruled" by the .01% in Russia or the .01% in America?

However, anyone that actually tries to compare Russia's regime with a western liberal regime is smoking crack. The Russians are far more oppressive. Hello, they put rock bands in jail for "disrespecting" religion. And the country is far more oligarchical and corrupt. I haven't noticed a lot of Americans trying to flee to Russia; so far, there is only one -- Ed Snowden. All the other political dissidents are fleeing the other direction for asylum.

Pussy Riot promotes homosexuality.

So as to your question, What difference does it make whether you're "ruled" by the .01% in Russia or the .01% in America?

A major difference is that Russia has smoe standards of moral decency whereas the Americans has not. America has been deMORALized.

People as yourself, whom shun religion, are useful tools employed in the deMORALization. You want an environment where "anything goes".

The current Kleptocracy in the United States is demonstrative of that deMORALization. There is a lack of a Moral Compass and, as a result, the United States has been transformed into a rudderless ship heading into one hellacious Economic and Social Storm. That only tends to spell out ONCOMING DISASTER.

Thus you will reap that destruction from the deMORALization which you have sown.

As far as Russia is concerned they will prosper as they have rejuvenated MORALS. The Communist Party ban on the church allowed them to reap a similar destruction. Theft and corruption ran rampant at the fall of the former Soviet Union.

It has slowly been improving but it will take a generation or more to recover from the corrosive affects of SOCIALISM.

Personally I do not hold Putin in any higher regard than I do Obama. Both are PSYCHOPATHS and POWER HUNGRY.

Of course this stance will make me a little bit unpopular here. I do not care about popularity. But the crowd here knows me to be consistent.

But you are just trolling.

The United States (former, now non -existent, since the executor of the laws is an illegal entity) has just such a problem

The US government's chief executive has posted a fake birth certificate on the WH website (which is a federal crime-- but the rule of law does not exist anymore) professing birth in Hi. to an "AFRICAN" father.

No matter WHERE birth occurred the fact that the "African" (Kenyan) father passed on British subjectship via the British Nationality Act 1948 VOIDS municiple eligibility to be President (since Hussein Obama was born British, his dual allegiance-- even IF born in Hi., voids his eligibility as a "naural born Citizen--- i.e born in the US to 2 US Citizen parents- where no foreign allegince exists-- which is the purpose of the requirement). In fact Hussein Obama is likely STILL British to this day.

Hussein Obama CLEARLY has no allegince to America or its Constitution, and is the perfect example of why a natural born Citizen is required. Congress has committed treason, and now protects the knowledge of that treason, and rolls over for anything the Usurper does.

What is the penalty for Treason?

The 25th Amendment superseded but did not invalidate part of the 12th Amendment, and A2S1C6.

12th Amendment:
“And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.”

“CONSTITUTIONAL DISABILITY” certainly does not refer to only physical or mental disability, and certainly refers to “LEGAL disability”. Apparently the framers envisioned a situation where a President was found to be ineligible for the office, especially since at that time a persons birth place and the citizenship of his parents was not as easily and immediately verifiable, as well as his time of residence in the United States.

Even the title of the 25th Amendment provides proof that “INABILITY” also refers to “Constitutional disability” or legal disability”.
The Title is:
“Presidential Vacancy, Disability, and Inability”

If “INABILITTY” meant “physical or mental disability” then the title of the 25th Amendment is repetitive, as “disability” is already part of the title. ALL words in a statute have individual plain meaning, and 2 separate words cannot mean the same thing— A well worn and proven law of statutory construction.

“Inability” is also mentioned in A2S1C6 (also superseded by the 25 Amendment):

“In case of the removal of the President from office, or of his death, resignation, or inability to discharge the powers and duties of the said office,”

It is said that the 25th Amendment arose because of fear that the President could be physically or mentally disabled, and that there was no provision for that (although “inability” could certainly mean all of that), and also to clarify the line of succession

A2S1C5 is a self executing constitutional provision– meaning no statute is needed to enforce it. This is evidenced by the word “SHALL” in A2S1C5 and also by the proviso of the line of succession in 3 US Code 19(e) (the statutory framework of the 25th Amendment).

“(e) Subsections (a), (b), and (d) of this section shall apply only to such officers as are eligible to the office of President under the Constitution.”

Simple logic and truth have been abandoned, since when the executor of the laws is an illegal entity then there is no law– and the law is only what evil men say it is. The rule of law is gone– only violence will bring it back, aka a watering of the tree of liberty. Otherwise enjoy your servitude.

Especially when that Country in question you pay for and the people in your government that are loyal to it has attacked you multiple times in order to use you for it's own objectives???...

For the lesson and the posterity that comes with it.

Certainly wish Americans cared that much about what their own government was doing bringing in citizens from other countries to subvert there government and the "rule of law"!!!

Understandably this is an abbreviated list. May I suggest adding one Rahm Emmanuel, who volunteered to serve in a foreign army but not in (cough) his own. Yet he went on the become the President's Chief Of Staff.

SCOTUS is also worth a mention with four of the nine judges being of the Tribe whereas there's just one representative of the nation's founding stock.

An improvement:

In a Parliament brawl, a Ukrainian,

Took quite a blow to the cranium;

His head split in two,

So they scooped out the goo,

In its place, they stuck a geranium.

Ha, the NWO isn't even trying to be secretive: one of them doesn't even speak Ukrainian! He's going to have as hard a time debating policy as I do ordering from the border jumpers at Wendy's.
