Fight Breaks Out In Parliament When Ukraine Learns It Has Quietly Become The Newest US State

Tyler Durden's picture

It appears not all the government members approve of the new foreign-born members of the Ukraine parliament... as this fight just broke out...

And the result when other members discovered this...

The fight occurred after the majority of people's deputies supported the draft resolution on the appointment of the number of (foreign) members of parliamentary committees.

After the vote, the People's Deputy Vladimir Parasyuk began requiring word in explanation of vote, but the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman refused it...

*  *  *

We don't blame them for wanting to know how they just became the newest US State...

*  *  *

Here the 3 new (foreign-born) members of Ukraine's parliament...

As RFERL reports,

Three foreigners -- Natalie Jaresko, Aivaras Abromavicius, and Aleksandr Kvitashvili -- were approved as ministers by Ukraine's parliament on December 2.

President Petro Poroshenko said their appointment, which has raised some eyebrows in Ukraine, was part of an effort to find "innovative solutions in the government" due to the "extraordinary challenges facing Ukraine."

Poroshenko naturalized all three hours before their confirmation by parliament.

All have given up their citizenships to comply with Ukraine's constitutional ban on dual citizenship.=

Natalie Jaresko, United States -- Finance Minister

Jaresko, who has Ukrainian roots, has lived in the country for more than two decades.

She moved to Kyiv in 1992, just months after Ukraine gained independence from the Soviet Union, to head the economic department of the newly opened U.S. embassy.

Prior to her relocation, she held various economic positions in the U.S. State Department.

She holds a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from DePaul University in Chicago.

In 1995, she left the U.S. Embassy to work for the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), an equity fund financed by the U.S. government, where she rose to the position of chief executive officer.

She established her own fund, Horizon Capital, in 2004.

During the Orange Revolution, Jaresko made no secret of her sympathies for the pro-Western uprising. She went on serve on then-President Viktor Yushchenko's Foreign Investors Advisory Council.

With the United States facing accusations of political meddling in Ukraine, Jaresko's new role has raised eyebrows.

U.S. State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf has already denied Washington had any hand in her appointment.

Jaresko says the new cabinet of ministers intends to "change the country, improve transparency and eliminate corruption."

Speaking to parliament on December 2, she declared her readiness to "take on challenges."

Jaresko faces a tough job warding off economic collapse, battling corruption, and reforming Ukraine's economy as the country continues to fight an armed insurgency in the east.

Aivaras Abromavicius, Lithuania -- Economy Minister

Like Jaresko, Abromavicius is no newcomer to Ukraine.

Born in Vilnius, Lithuania, the investment banker has lived in Kyiv since 2008 and has a Ukrainian wife.

He is a partner and fund manager at the East Capital asset management group.

The group is a major player in Ukraine, where it invested almost $100 million in 2012.

Abromavicius describes himself as a Ukrainian patriot and has pledged "radical measures" to overhaul the country's battered economy.

He claims he hasn't yet discussed his ministerial salary, which he said he expected to be "very small."

He has voiced hope that his "efforts and experience will help Ukraine reach a totally different level of economic development, bring transparency and openness to government's work."

Aleksandr Kvitashvili, Georgia -- Health Minister

Kvitashvili served as health minister in his native Georgia between 2008 and 2010, under then-President Mikheil Saakashvili.

He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Tbilisi State University and a master's degree from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in New York.

After graduating in 1993, he did a brief stint working in the United States at the Atlanta Medical Center as an administrative and finance officer.

He returned to Georgia the same year to work for the United Nations Development Program.

He has since held positions at a number of healthcare-related organizations, including the United Methodist Committee on Relief, the Curatio International Foundation, the East/West Institute in New York, and the Transatlantic Partners Against AIDS organization.

Kvitashvili was rector of Tbilisi State University between 2010 and 2013.

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has tasked Kvitashvili with introducing sweeping reforms to tackle rampant corruption among health authorities.

Despite his recent arrival in Ukraine, Kvitashvili, who does not speak Ukrainian, professes "deep respect for Ukraine and its people."

"I've been working on reforms in Ukraine for the past three months, but my love [for] this country has a much longer history," he said on December 2.

Poroshenko's fascist government in Kiev  can't stop fighting, even among themselves.

This is possibly anger at having had their asses kicked by the folks in East Ukraine.

One wonders how long Kiev will survive before it implodes into another civil war.

This was reinforced by his daughters, who told him how the Wizard of Oz wrought a wondrous change in the scarecrow.

All three of the new Ukranian appointees note they want to bring transparency to the country. This was Obama's mantra as well. If countries become any more transparent they may just disappear. The U.S. is doing their best to get nation state lines erased through trade treaties putting corporations in the driver seat. Maurice Strong from the U.N. has been in China for a number of years no doubt trying to worm his way into a foothold on China. The New World Order is One World, one currency, and a clear line between rulers and serfs. For us serfs our mantra should be decentralization. Draw as many lines as you can by keeping the ruling elite separated. Dual citizenship should be banned in every Constitution and appointments like these in the Ukraine based on naturalizing citizens banned too.

Volodymyr Groysman, Ukraine’s deputy prime minister who was appointed acting prime minister of Ukraine following the temporary resignation of current Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, last week was elected first Jewish Speaker in Ukraine’s new parliament,

He joined Ukraine’s new junta government in February as deputy prime minister for regional policy and is a former mayor of the city of Vinnytsia.

Ukraine Elects First Jewish Speaker In New Parliament | JPUPDATES (Jewish Political News & Updates)

November 27, 2014  by Jacob Kornbluh

Ukraine’s 450-seat parliament elected on Thursday its first Jewish Speaker, as it convened for the first time since the embattled country’s elections in October.

Volodymyr Groysman was elected Speaker of the parliament, considered the third-most important post in the country after the Prime minister and President, and, like in Israel, is the first to stand in for the president if the head of state is unable to fulfill his duties.

Mr. Groysman was previously mayor of the central city of Vinnytsia and joined the government in February, 2014, as deputy prime minister for regional policy. The 36-year-old pol was appointed acting prime minister of Ukraine following the resignation of Arseniy Yatsenyuk in July…

During the inaugural session of parliament Thursday, President Petro Poroshenko’s majority coalition in the parliament reappointed Arseny Yatsenyuk as prime minister and elected Groysman as speaker. A preliminary governing coalition was formed last week, uniting five parties intent on guiding Ukraine toward integration with Europe and potentially NATO.

“In 2007, American political science professors James Petras, John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt reached the conclusion that America's foreign policy is now dominated by the Israel Lobby. The Jews do this through their powerful monied groups, AIPAC, the ADL, and the AJC. They control both the Republican and the Democrat Parties, and the White House does their bidding. That bidding includes the conquest of Ukraine.” -- Khazars Re-invade Ukraine , August 14, 2014

Who Controls the Ukraine | The French Connection

The following was written by Vladimir Borisov, possibly in January 2005:

“Ukraine, which parted from Russia in 1991, has never achieved a true independent state. Just like in Russia, or even 80 years earlier in the Weimar Republic, a tribe of vultures descended upon the body of the nation.”

In the early 1990s, backed by the financial power of international Jewish bankers, the vultures bought for pennies, and plainly seized, all major enterprises previously owned by the state, Including the biggest factories and entire sectors of the newly "privatized" national economy.

According to the 2001 Ukrainian census, there are 103,000 Jews in Ukraine, which is 0.2% of the total population. Out of 130 nationalities in the Ukraine, the Jewish minority numerically is behind Bulgarians (204,000), Hungarians (156,000), Romanians (151,000) and Poles (144,000). However, as one might expect, the Jewish "oligarchs" were the ones who happened to seize all positions in mass media.

Professor Vasyl Yaremenko, director of the Institute of Culturological and Ethnopolitical research at Kiev State University, released an article in 2003 entitled, "Jews in Ukraine today: reality without myths." In it he says the following:

"Ukrainians need to know that the mass media is completely in the hands of Jews, and everything that we watch or read is the product of Jewish ideology…"

He then reviews the situation in regards to Ukrainian network television and cable broadcasters:

• "First National Television Channel UT-1" is owned by the president of the Social Democratic Party, led and dominated by chief of staff Viktor Medvedchuk.

• "Inter TV" and "Studio 1+1 TV" have been Ukrainian national broadcasters since 1996, they are available in English, Ukrainian and Russian languages. They are owned by Viktor Medvedchuk and Gregory Surkis.

• "Alternativa TV", "TET Broadcasting Company", and "UNIAN (Ukrainian Independent Information & News Agency)" are also owned by Viktor Medvedchuk and Gregory Surkis.

• "STB TV" and "ICTV" are owned by the Viktor Pinchuk, the wealthiest man in Ukraine, with an estimated net worth of $3 billion.

• "Novyi Kanal (New Channel) TV" is owned by Viktor Pinchuk with a group of Jewish oligarchs from Russia called "Alpha Group."

Zionists control all of Ukrainian television media!

According to Professor Yaremenko, all major newspapers are also owned by Jews:

• The publishing house of Rabinovich-Katsman owns the newspapers Stolychka, Stolichnye Novosti, Jewish Review (in Russian), Jewish Reviewer, Vek, Mig, and Zerkalo .

• Jed Sandes, an American citizen and a Jew, publishes Korrespondent and Kiev-Post.

• Gregory Surkis publishes Kievskie Vedomosti and the weekly 2000.

• Jew Dmitro Gordon publishes Bulvar.

• Viktor Pinchuk publishes Facts and Commentaries.

• The Donetsk Group (Jewish-Russian oligarchs) publishes Segondnya.

Who are these "Ukrainian" oligarchs?

Victor Pinchuk (Jewish) is the son-of-law of Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma [Kuchma was placed into office by George Soros (Jewish)]. He is the owner of several oil, gas and energy import/export companies. He also owns the nation's largest steel mill and a chain of banks. His group has very strong ties with other Jewish organizations in Ukraine, as well as in the U.S. and Israel. He is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, an adviser to the president, and one of the leaders of the Labor Ukrainian Party.

Vadim Rabinovich (Jewish) is a citizen of Israel. In 1980 he was charged with stealing state property and spent 9 months in a jail. In 1984 he was arrested and sentenced to 14 years in prison for his black market activities . He was released in 1990. In 1993 he became a representative of the Austrian company "Nordex" in Ukraine. The company received exclusive rights to sell Russian oil from president Kuchma . In 1997 Rabinovich became president of the All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress, and in 1999 he was elected head of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine. Also in 1999, Rabinovich created the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine. That same year the Associated Press estimated his wealth as $1 billion. Rabinovich owns Central Europe Media Enterprises, which controls television stations in seven East European countries.

Victor Medvedchuk (Jewish) is Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma's Chief of Staff. The Medvedchuk-Surkis cabal controls Ukraine's energy sector (8 regional energy companies), oil and gas market, alcohol and sugar production, shipbuilding, and athletic organizations. He is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, and a leader in the Social Democratic party of Ukraine (SDPU).

Gregory Surkis (Jewish) is second in command of the SDPU. He owns a soccer team, Dynamo-Kiev, and is a president of the Professional Soccer League. He is CEO of Slavutich, a company that controls several regional energy companies (KirovogradEnergo, PoltavEnergo, etc). He too is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Professor Yaremenko points out that out of the 400+ members of the Ukrainian Parliament, 136 (possibly 158) are Jews. That is more than in the Israeli Knesset. Who voted for them, asks professor Yaremenko. Who paid for costly election campaigns? — 90% of Ukrainian banks are owned by Jews.

Ukraine is the perfect example of so-called Democracy - "democracy" where the rule of a tiny, ethnic minority is disguised under the cloak of the will and rule of the majorityDoes it surprise anyone to see the rise in "anti-Semitism" around the world, and in Ukraine in particular?

"Jews in Ukraine: Reality Without Myth" was published on Sept. 30, 2003, and was the article that prompted the Ukrainian Jewish Congress to file a lawsuit asking the court to shut down the newspaper Sel'skie Vesti, which published it. Sel'skie Vesti had a circulation of over 500,000 and was the largest in Ukraine.

On Jan. 28, a court in Kiev, Ukraine, ordered the closure of the daily newspaper on the grounds that it was publishing "hate literature," a crime in Jewish-owned Ukraine. The newspaper was found guilty of publishing "anti-Semitic" materials, and promoting ethnic and religious hostility….

Prior to being shut down, the newspaper published the following letters from readers, which were reprinted by Jewish organizations and used as "proof" of "anti-Semtism."

...Today the Jewish community in Ukraine is not experiencing the rebirth of a national minority but is in the process of legalizing its dealings as an apolitical and economic structure, which is well planned, organized and financed. This so-called minority exhibits extreme aggression. It poses an elevated threat to the national security of Ukraine. As a foreign political body that practically oversees international trade, national finances, mass media and publishing, it must be placed under strict government and sate control, and must be regimented and regulated.

...90% of Ukrainian banks are run by Jewish "specialists." In other words, Ukrainian finances are in Jewish hands. As a Ukrainian citizen and an ethnic Ukrainian, my origin forces me speak up and ask: "Is this normal?"

...In the 1930s, all Ukrainian gold that had been passed down from generation to generation ended up in Jewish wallets after the famine organized by Jews [the author earlier writes that 99% of PCIA members––Stalin's secret police––were Jewish] and Ukrainians had to reach deeply into their pockets. However, Jews were not able to enjoy those stolen goods as German fascism changed the course of events. Today the gold of Ukrainian Jews, these gold diggers of the Ukrainian Klondike, is in banks in Switzerland.

...It is not safe to write about Jews not because the writer will automatically be accused of xenophobia, but because every Ukrainian, if not openly then secretly, is an anti-Semite ready to participate in a pogrom.

...Ukrainians must know that Ukrainian mass media is in the hands of Jews and that we absorb information and food for the soul from a Jewish ideological kitchen.

...Jewish publicists deny the fact that [Jewish people] organized the Ukrainian famine in 1933. However, eyewitnesses claim otherwise.... Not one Jewish person died from starvation in 1933.

...We are not anti-Semites. However, we believe it is dishonorable and demeaning to stay quiet when Zionists are taking over the political and economic spheres of our country. We must let people know the truth about the doings of Zionists in Ukraine.

...He told the truth about the vicious activities of Zionists in Ukraine.

...We cannot allow Zionists to destroy Ukraine.

Putin Threatens Currency Speculators; Six Ways to Know a Currency is in Deep Trouble

Here's a lesson about various ways to spot a currency that is in deep-deep trouble.

1.     Crackdown on "currency speculators"

2.     Accusations of foreign interference

3.     Measures to stop capital flight

4.     Repatriation amnesty in hopes money will return home

5.     Currency action itself

6.     Currency controls

Ruble Analysis

Let's check those six measures starting with today's report Putin Threatens Crackdown on Currency Speculators.

1. Putin Blames Currency Speculators

Vladimir Putin threatened to crack down on speculators against the rouble as he called on Russia to put its economic house in order to fight what he called an attempt by outside enemies to bring the country to its knees. “We have asked the central bank to take measures to make sure that speculators can no longer take advantage,” Russia’s president said in a speech on Thursday. “We know who those people are, and we have the means to rein them in. It’s time to use these instruments.”

2. Putin Blames Foreigners and Plays Hitler Card

“Hitler with his misanthropic ideas tried to destroy Russia and throw us back behind the Urals. Just remember how that ended,” Mr Putin said. “If [Russia’s annexation of Crimea] had not happened, they would have found another excuse for holding Russia back and Russia down. This has been happening for centuries — every time the west thinks Russia is getting too strong, they use these policies.”

3. Measures to Stop Capital Flight

“We need to reverse the history of capital flight from our country, we need to end this era,” Mr Putin said.

4. Amnesty for All

Putin promised an amnesty for offshore capital returning home, saying Russians bringing back money from abroad would not have to prove where they got it from.

5. Currency Action

Since July 2008 the Ruble had gone from 24Rub-per-US$ to 54Rub-per-US$. That is a decline of 55.55%. In the last six months alone, the Ruble has gone from 34Rub-per-US$ to 54Rub-per-US$. That is a 6-month decline of 37%.

6. Currency controls

Anton Siluanov, finance minister, reiterated the government’s commitment to abstain from currency controls after Mr Putin’s speech, but said that the government and the central bank would “co-ordinate” the actions of exporters on the foreign exchange market to reduce their collective influence on the rouble exchange rate.

Does that sound like the start of currency controls to you?  It does to me.

If the US and Iran come to agreement ending sanctions on Iran, more Iranian oil will flow on the markets, likely pressuring prices further (assuming all other factors remain the same). A slowing global economy also pressures oil prices.

In turn, falling oil prices pressures the Ruble.

As bad as things look for Russia on the Ruble front, there is potential for things to get much worse.

In recent days, Putin has blamed "speculators" for the ruble's declining value against the Dollar, Euro and Yen:

"We have seen speculative fluctuations of the rate, but I think it will end soon in the face of action taken by the central bank in response to action by speculators."

But recall that back in August 1971, Nixon said much the same thing:

"In recent weeks, the speculators have been waging an all-out war on the American dollar. The strength of a nation’s currency is based on the strength of that nation’s economy – and the American economy is by far the strongest in the world. Accordingly, I have directed the Secretary of the Treasury to take the action necessary to defend the dollar against the speculators."

Zero Hedgers, it's best to avoid despicable America at all costs and head over on the earliest flight possible to Mother Russia.

There you'll be greeted by sky-high unemployment, a life expectancy almost a decade less, a vibrant state-controlled media, a failing currency, rampant police corruption and the gulag threat if you don't knuckle under.

And because most folks are trying to flee Russia, you can even earn generous ruble incentives if you stick around and help grow the population!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/vladimir-putin/9739678/Vladimi...

There is also a program for men 180CM or taller who consent to be Judo-flipped to a mat on live TV by the diminutive Putin.

Come one, come all and help Russia rectify the greatest catastrophe of the 20th century by rebuilding our beleagured state, one land confiscation at a time!

We'll stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our comrades, break bread over borscht and enjoy a hearty Siberian winter without that infernal Obama lording it over us!

And while the ruble is sure to be worth less at the end of winter than it was at the start, we don't need no damn Audis, BMWs or Mercedeses polluting our pristine Russian roads, anyway!

"Jaresko, who has Ukrainian roots, has lived in the country for more than two decades."

Umm, then she is not really a "foreigner" at this point then, is she?

"Born in Vilnius, Lithuania, the investment banker has lived in Kyiv since 2008 and has a Ukrainian wife."

Ok, not as clear-cut as the above, but again, hardly some foreigner who just showed up, with no apparent ties.

The third guy is more problematic. So, pick him apart for being a true 'foreigner', if that's what they are so worried about.

It seems to me that the Ukrainians ought to be more concerned with finding someone, or 'ones', capable of helping get their shit back on track. If they find a native-born, blue-eyed son, great. But if the guy with the most sensible plan isn't 100% tied to Ukrainian soil, then I say fuck it...go with the "foreigner"...

Just make it HAPPEN already, OK? The longer these idiots wait, the more likely they are to be taken over by SOMEBODY. They are sitting on some prime real estate over there. Do they not realize their hold on it grows more tenuous the longer it takes for them to take the wheel?

That they never considered the interest their former overlords to the north might HAVE in their "Let's join NATO!" plans totally astounds me. Any common-sensicle reading of twentieth-century history would tell you that was a really, really bad idea.

So, maybe they NEED some foreign influences...it's just a question of which ones will prevail...

Sorry, you're talking to a bunch of xenophobes, so none of your points matter.

And of course at this juncture, pointing out the similarities between the extreme xenophobia of 1930s Germany and present-day Ukraine would also fall on deaf ears, since a true Patriot can hear nothing but the sound of his own heart beating, and the flap of his native country's flag beating in the wind.

Russian Forces Kill 8 CIA Agents In Massive Grozny Gun Battle

A series of frantic reports flooding into the Kremlin today from the Federal Security Services (FSB) on the massive anti-terror operation in the Chechen Republic capitol city of Grozny that has left nearly 50 dead is reporting that “at least” eight Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) covert operatives have been killed by Department “C” (Spetsgruppa Smerch) Spetsnaz (English: Special Purpose Forces) forces operating under the command of the Service of Special Operations (???).

According to these reports, President Putin was rushed to the National Defense Control Center (NDCC) at 01:15 (UTC+03:00) to oversee this operation after FSB operatives reported a three vehicle convoy had entered into Russia territory from Georgia along one of the many narcotic smuggling routes indentified in this Caucasus region.

These reports elude to the fact that these three vehicles had been under continued surveillance by the FSB due to the CIA’s continued recruitment of Chechen Islamic militants for their covert forces operating in Iraq, Syria and other Muslim nations, and which include the terrorists responsible for the 15 April 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings.

Most greatly concerning to the FSB regarding this convoy, these reports say, were the CIA operatives stopping while in route to Grozny from Georgia and observed by drone surveillance changing into local police uniforms.

After changing into their “counterfeit” police uniforms, these reports continue, the first attempt to stop this convoy was at the E-50 checkpoint that is needed to be passed prior to entering Grozny, but failed due to the “overwhelming firepower” of the CIA operatives that killed at least 10 police guards manning their post.

After the deadly attack upon these innocent guards, however, these reports state, Department “C” forces were able to force these CIA operatives to leave their “shredded vehicles” after which they took cover in the Press House building in the city centre where this massive battle took place, and as evidence by the videos below.

Total unlike Chechen that are formidable an familiar with locale and

There has been doings in that "P" country for decades and from there

Let's see...

are we supposed to change the rules now just because your side is losing?

if your side changed the rules now, it would be the second time you changed them in the past 14 years.

Anyway, the game isn't over till it's over.

Corrections:

1. The game is never over.

2. Whoever is on top (Rome, Constantinople, Britain, U.S...) makes (and changes) the rules as they please.  During interregnum periods there are no rules.

Both of these have always been true, and will always be true -- before America existed, and long after it is gone.

3. I don't have a side.  (This one subject to change.)

I take some pride in prodding you into finally making  an intelligent comment and upvote you for it.

On the other hand, it is completely irresponsible of you not have to have chosen a side to join.  Are we supposed to think that you are still considering the Obama-Nuland-McCain-Poroshenko connection?

Unless, of course, you are selling your allegiance, in which case it's quite alright.

I've never bought the "exceptionalism" bunk... but I do consider myself a historical realist.  Every single nation on earth would do exactly as America does, if they could pull it off.  Do you doubt this?  Do you think they're "restraining themselves?"  Or are they just inept?

And actually, plenty of them will (and have) done far worse.  We butchered the indigenous people pretty well, but if you want modern genocides you have to look to Russia, China, Japan, and Europe, where frankly they are not arriving as conquerors, but rather butchering people that have been their next-door neighbors for millennia.  Installing a few cabinet ministers is nothing... what do you think Russia has been doing in the same region for 100 years, in all the ex-Soviet states and beyond??

There is a cell phone video recorded today, where Sergey Lavrov is sitting down to have a meeting with John Kerry, and some presstitute blurted out-

"Minister Lavrov, have hundreds of Russian servicemen been killed in Ukraine as Secretary Kerry has said?"

Lavrov, the consumate pro, asked the presstitute if he was part of the US delegation. Of course, he wasn't, so Lavrov told him: "this isn't a press conference", and the reporters were asked to clear out so the meeting could begin.

Lavrov took his seat, and in a "bitch shut your cock garage" tone, bluntly asked Horseface directly- "So what did you say about Russian troops?"

Kerry, off-camera, but sitting across him, mumbled, faltered, and failed to deny it or even answer, so Lavrov pushed ahead.

"Hundreds of Russian troops have been killed eh? So why doesn't CNN show it?"

Diplomacy at its finest. He called Kerry out on his lies to his face.

Too fucking funny...
