Raleigh is pretty cool, but I've not seen so much construction of apartment complexes since I left So. Cal. What could go wrong here? Up and down Hillsborough St. and downtown Raleigh are congested with new high rise buildings, too many to count. Okay, math was never my forte anyhow, but the "baggers" be back down here big time! Onward through the fog!
Raliegh, Durham, Chapel Hill...the whole Triangle area is booming, and has been on a steady growth curve for decades.
The Reasearch Park, Duke, UNC, NCState, plus all the .gov jobs have brought this area the 3rd highest concentration of PHD's in the country behind Boston & Silicone Valley.

"A former Democratic congressional aide pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually assaulting two women in 2010.
Donny Ray Williams Jr., 37, who served as a staff director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee, pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse, two misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse and one count of misdemeanor threats.
Prosecutors say that on July 22, 2010, Williams invited a female congressional colleague to his Capitol Hill apartment and promised to introduce her to Senate employees. At the house, prosecutors said, Williams spiked a drink with Ambien. The woman, according to court documents, fell into a “deep sleep,” at which point Williams raped her."

After the relationship between the two men ended, Lawson went public with claims that Bean had a practice of secretly videotaping himself having sex with others.
?This story was first reported by the local press, and there have been vague references to sexual trouble for Bean and Lawson since June, but the national media has not picked it up. That oversight is politically convenient for President Obama as he tries to pull off one of his riskiest political moves ever with his amnesty executive order."

Liberal leftist Mayor DeBlasio, issued a directive/order to the chief of Police 2 weeks ago to crack down on those selling illegal (untaxed) cigs on NYC streets. two minority store owners called the police to come to the scene because Garner was stealing their customers. The order came to arrest Garner from the percinct chief who is black, the seargant over seeing the arrest in the cruiser was a black female. Let's ponder these truths/facts. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own set of facts.

I was listening to two f*cks on NPR this AM (my first mistake) DEBATING the meaning of a choke hold. OK, granted some people confuse a sleeper hold with a choke hold - which it is not.
That - in the pic - is a CHOKE.
And the b*tch of it - why am I using * - fuck bitch of it was the conclusion that it was probably an imporperly applied sleeper hold - thus just an oops I guess.

It never fails to amaze me that these modern day social justice ambulance chasers continue to run with some of the most unpromising and questionable cases. Just a little bit of time on thefreethoughtproject.com, reason.com, rutherford institute or the institute for justice will turn up stories that really should be front page news. It begs the question "Why?".
