"Good News Is Bad News" Payrolls Reaction: Stocks Stumble, Bonds & Bullion Bashed As USD Surges
After an initial "good news is bad news" kneejerk lower in stocks, USD strength (and thus JPY weakness) is providing the ammo to 'prove' this is good news, but problematically the bounce is fading (of course, there's a long way and a lot more VIX to sell to manage this narrative green). Oil is up modestly (growth?). Treasury yields are surging (10Y +7bps) and gold and silver and sliding...

USDJPY surging, paper gold crashing.
Hm.... where have I read that before?!? Maybe the other side of the trade isn't the Nikkei but USDJPY?
Well that crushes exports this quarter
So Q4 GDP should be just super, right??
NOTT!

BUT THIS JOBS NUMBER IS JUST MOAR BULLSHIT TO BOOST PATHETIC HOLIDAY RETAIL SALES.
This is the endgame.
IMHO, I don't think by the time the Q4 numbers will be out they still matter...
OK so everything is looking great, so The Fed will definitely be increasing rates soon. Right?
US futures doing their best to make it look like markets will NOT be up 1% + today.....2080+ in the bag
Relax. Everything is basically unch
TD......really?
I had the numbers in front of me that July 2012 was the end game of the EUR. Then Draghi started flapping his lips, and suddenly, without him doing a thing, "Europe" "fixed itself."
I imagine that this will be solved the same way.
Markets at all time highs
Unemployment headed for 5%
Gas headed for $2.00
what a beautiful Movie lol, like I said the lies are geting bolder and bolder
"The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns as it were instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish spurting out ink."
-George Orwell
Eventually, all those paper claims are going to be "called in" and start seeking real assets.
From my perspective, the cheaper fuel costs have helped our bottom line for now, but I know that this is not sustainable. TRADE is the only thing that matters in the world, period. While there are many U.S. companies that do make real products. The issue is, what percentage of the total GDP is this and what about the liabilities on the U.S. balance sheet?
Between the useless fucking SNAP babies and useless paper-pushing fucks in D.C. and Wall Street, it does not look good IMO.
Evil bastards. Stackers will have the last laugh however.
It will be a delirious one as you lie broke on your death bed, but last laugh none the less.
economy is kicking ass

All according plan.
Santa Clause is coming to Wall street. For the rest of us , it's the Grinch.
Again, so, same as it ever was then?
Santa Claus hasn't left since November 2012. Up and to the right, in a nearly uninterrupted straight line.
Kids always want bigger presents than last year.

which futures are you watching exactly?
Look at table A-1 not seasonally adjusted. Size of laborforce declined. Participation rate and emp to pop ratio declined. Now go look at table A-9 down at the bottom, part time vs full time. Full time dropped and part time rose. The internals are very ugly.

USD surges, now theres something you hear everyday. kind of like when a hooker tells you you were great.
They always say that to me.
Wait...
So if a big tip buys accolades from a hooker but the US government tells me I'm doing great for free..?

S&P drops 2 points for a microsecond. The horror, the horror...
In addition to manipulation by the government-financial complex other forces are converging to further distort and disconnect Wall Street from the American economy. Why American equities continue to rise is very important, more is at force here than the usual causes which might include a pre-election and post-election rally. This is more than the continuation of a double down and let it ride mentality that has been ratcheting the market higher while reenforced by media hype.
Most analysts agree that money from countries with weakening currencies is flowing out of the troubled areas and the U.S. is receiving most of the benefit. The Japanese as well as many Chinese and Europeans know with so much money floating around and few safe harbors America is becoming the most comfortable option for temporary investing their money. More on why this should be viewed as a sign of massive instability rather than a reason to celebrate in the article below. Thing could turn ugly very fast.

well, their all out of excuses now to NOT raise rates (according to the data they track) but im sure they'll think of some reason to keep financing our national debt & future deficits
Long time ago, an old girlfriend left town on business after instructing me to take good care of her finicky ass cat.
When the sweet little pussy got hungry enough, he ate some collard greens i finally fed him.
Oh goody the disabled vet standing out in the rain by the wallmart yesterday might get a break other than the cash I had on me. I live in a fairly wealthy rural old$ town , you just don't see that here until now

If "the Market" believed the numbers oil would rally 6 or 8 bucks today.
Maybe JP morgan had a fire drill this morning. Don't worry, markets will bloat themselves to infinity. Endless fake money and computer programs will ensure that.
