I'd qualify Al as a "self-propelled tool" with little to no strings attached, as he seems to desire nothing more than the power that comes with serving the status quo.
In other news, I just realized that Skinny Al looks a lot more evil than Jolly Fat Al. So there's that!
And so many dipshits are defending this fucking cop. New York is such a fucking shithole, it's no wonder so many of their cops are mindless fascist pigs.
This situation just makes one tired. It's like you go from interest to curiosity, then to anger, then to dismay, and then to resignation that the system is effed up, to dismay that the system which started out so nobly got this effed up so quickly, to a sort of helplessness in that what can be done to change a system that is so effed up, then to a feeling that its better to just ignore it all and enjoy life, then back and forth between all those emotions.
maybe like Bluto said -' drink heavily' is the solution..............
For me, I grew up thinking the nationalist bullshit, that we were the good guys and those pesky dems were the problem. Then I realized all politicians were the problem. Then I realized the country was in serious trouble. Then I realized the banks ran everything. Then I realized that the country is on the brink. Then I realized that the country is beyond the brink. Now, I look around and see a walking corpse. The collapse has already happened but everyone seems to be in denial about it and wants to continue the same old tired blame game.
It's more than just the politicians who are the problem, I believe. It's more like 75% of the US population that has lost its sense of right and wrong. Somehow I think that both Hubert Humphrey (VP under Lyndon Johnson and a notable Liberal of his day) and Barry ("Conscience of a Conservative") Goldwater would be appalled by the path America has taken since the 1960s. As the morals of the general population have sunk, the morals of politicians sank too.
I think Americans see that, in national politics and even in gubernatorial races, there is no chance for someone not "a slave to the interests" to get elected anymore, and they just throw up their hands. Really, what CAN they do? Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama - all the same. Nevertheless, I ALWAYS vote!
why does mussolini's hanging corpse come to mind when I think of our leadership..our security agents our police our tsa our nsa..have they all stepped over the line of public consent?
I have this idea what impact would we have if millions of us sent the iconic mussolini corpse photo to our leadership?? would they get a message they can understand? obviously voting has not worked.
I have read this topic, and most of the replies and just wanted to say, cigarettes are usually taxed at the WHOLESALE level, so unless this guy worked for a wholesaler, or had an inside avenue, he paid the taxes due to the state when he bought the cigarettes that he sold individually. If I buy a pack of Camels at the store, and turn around and sell them individually for a profit, the state GOT ITS FUCKING CUT!! The only thing they could complain about is MY CAPITAL GAIN!! This guy didn't deserve to die---PERIOD!!
The fucking cops just don't like loitering. But loitering is a bit too much for the public to swallow. So they come up with all kinds of other nuisance laws.

The symbolism and the words are an exact fit, Wm, and point far beyond the Garner killing. Powerful.
If you don't see the soul before you see the body, you are not human.

awsome WB
That is so funny.............cause its true.
I wouldn't be surprised if Obama's face popped up from behind.
Or, Bush's face for all the Republitard haters.

You might add the part about USA being a menace to the world.

have they? do you even need to ask, as if its not stupendously blatant enough already?

looks like some sort of autoerotic game
a fitting metaphor yes? (especially when you consider the history & symbolism behind Lady Liberty)
Honestly, she's still yearning to breathe free and extend that same freedom, right?
DaddyO
There´s still a lot of chumps around that voted for Obama (twice may I remind you) with the argument...at least he´s not Bush.
What do you say to people that voted for Obama (twice). Obama - the Bush improved model 2.0 ?
Not that it is any merit to have voted for Bush twice , either. But still...
A death grip choke hold on Liberty. Simply brilliant Banzai7.
Bravo!!!
