There Has Never Been A Greater Portion Of America Living On Food Stamps
Friday's jobs data proves it - America is back baby!!! Or is it all totally manipulated statistical shenanigans? A quick glimpse at the following charts two rather uncomfortably 'non-recovery-like' lines - of structural unemployment and the percent of the US population of Food Stamps - would suggest that for much of America, the recovery never happened... and in fact has got worse...

Back in the late '80s one of my job duties was to help arrange loans for credit challenged people. Specifically, residents in cities like Compton, California. I would take credit apps from 19 year old girls who had a child at 15, another one at 17, and would be in my office holding their latest creation in their arms.
They would be adorned with jewelry and fine sneakers, and the latest fad in clothing. No job, no husband, just $700 per month per kid. That's $2100 take home per month for a 19 year old dropout. If they married the father, assuming only one father for PC's sake, they would lose a large portion of their government bennies.
And what would you guess the typical wage of a young man from Compton would be at the age of 19? If you guessed on the low side you are right. There was no financial incentive for a young girl to marry a young man back then. In fact, it was a huge financial penalty.
A lot of people have no idea that sort of shit was going on back then. I certainly did, I had to deal with it on a daily basis.

Now, it's a single, 25-year old mother of 4, who is an illegal alien and speaks no English. Her oldest kids have iPhones. All the kids get free Medical care (MediCal), Cash Aid, Food Stamps, and WIC. (Just to make sure we get all the illegals on the dole, the USDA sponsers billboards in Spanish advertising Food Stamps for illegals).
Because we can't cut checks to infants, she (the illegal alien) gets the EBT card and all the benefits.
She may not be living in the lap of luxury, but she has a car, a Flat-screen TV, apartment, and lots of free time to live far better off than she did in the Mexican/Central American hell-hole she sneaked here from.

Sessions’ Friday letter pressed Vilsack on the cumulative cost of nutrition assistance for non-citizens and the cost of the total amount spent on nutrition assistance benefits for both citizen and non-citizen immigrants, in order to get a clearer picture of the cost associated with the current public charge policy.
The Alabama senator also requested information about possible loopholes for illegal immigrants to partake in SNAP benefits.
“You emphasized that food stamp eligibility ‘has never been extended’ to illegal aliens. However, as you know, illegal immigrants can apply for food stamp benefits on behalf of eligible members of their households,” he wrote.
“To the extent that illegal immigrants do not have to expend their own resources to purchase food on behalf of others, they obviously benefit from that taxpayer-funded assistance. Does your Department have any estimates of total SNAP benefits provided to households headed by an illegal immigrant on behalf of eligible dependents?” Sessions asked, going on to request similar information on legal immigrants with illegal dependents.
In his February response to Session’s October oversight request, Vilsack wrote that the agency has a goal of enrolling 75 percent of SNAP-eligible people by 2015.
“With respect to SNAP participation rates, the most recent available data shows that in 2010, an average of 51 million individuals were eligible for benefits each month, and 38 million received them, resulting in a participation rate of 75 percent among all SNAP-eligible individuals in that year,” he wrote.
“USDA’s strategic plan includes a goal to reach 75 percent of the SNAP-eligible population by 2015 — the same rate reached in 2010.”
A record 47,791,996 people were enrolled in the program in December, the most recent data available

I live in the State of Indiana where those on food stamps are given a "Indiana Works" card that looks like a credit card. This card is to spare recipients much of the embarrassment of receiving aid or being on the dole. Many Americans are appalled at the mix of high priced and unhealthy foods our tax dollars are used to buy through this program.
People buy these foods to fulfill their "appetite", it has gone far beyond just keeping people from going hungry. It is one thing to let people starve, but how do you justify qualifying someone on government assistance to purchase items that hard working taxpayers often feel unable to afford? Look at the obesity among the Black Plague. No work (except demonstrations and looting) and no responsibilities, produce huge, obese black cows prowling the supermarkets and department stores in electric carts because they can't even waddle around enough on legs, each of which are the circumference of 55 gallon barrels, to use their EBT cards to buy more food. If the markets didn't provide them with electric carts, they might actually starve to death.
It is impossible for them to even be able to wipe their own butts, or, sans that, are they so horribly unsanitary that they shouldn't be allowed to drive their new Escalades to the markets and waddle around or sit in public places? It would take something the size of several bath towels to wipe their butts after what must be horrifyingly humongous bowel movements excreting all that snack food, porterhouse steaks, and Colt 45 beverages.

It's a ghastly disgusting subject but I must admit I've often wondered about it. These people just cannot wipe their own asses! Look at the Veterans dept, bankrupt from phony claims from vets who were never in combat, never left the USA, never in any danger, all have PTSD and get $3K a month! They can claim to be 100% disabled and go to work full-time for the government. They get two checks! Fed money creation has allowed this massive deficit spending to go on and on.
