Air Asia Confirms Lost Contact With Indonesia Flight After Crew Asked For "Unusual Route", 155 Passengers On Board
UPDATE: *SINGAPORE AVIATION: SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS ACTIVATED
An Air Asia Indonesia flight from Surabaya in east Java to Singapore carrying 155 passengers has gone missing, Air Asia has confirmed. As Bloomberg reported, the flight departed Surabaya at 5:20am local time and lost contact soon after... Contact was lost at 6:17 a.m. local time (23:17 GMT on Saturday), after the crew asked for an “unusual route.” The latest discussions are that the loss of contact could be weather-related.
AirAsia flight number QZ8501, bound from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore, has lost contact with air traffic control, the airline has confirmed. The missing flight is an Airbus A320-200 with 155 people on board, Reuters reports.
The plane lost contact with Jakarta air traffic control on Sunday, Indonesian media said, citing Transport Ministry official Hadi Mustofa.
Mustofa said the contact was lost at 6:17 a.m. local time (23:17 GMT on Saturday), after the crew asked for an “unusual route.”
According to an unnamed Indonesian transport official, there are 155 passengers and crew aboard the plane.
The flight was due to land in Singapore at 8:30 a.m. local time (00:30 GMT) and was listed as “delayed.”

Let's blame Russia for this like we always do/s
Could it be because the Indonesian PM beat Obozo at the 9th hole?
Obozo's favo hole is the second.
I have it narrowed down to either Skynet, Mothra, or Russia.
Don't forget Uranus ;-)
Here's another missing aircraft:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_Boeing_727-223_disappearance
Wiki:
"Shortly before sunset on 25 May, two men are believed to have boarded the plane, one of them being American pilot and flight engineer Ben Charles Padilla.[5] The other was a hired mechanic from the Republic of the Congo. Neither man was certified to fly the Boeing 727, which normally requires three aircrew. Both men had been working with Angolan mechanics to get the plane flight-ready. Padilla is believed by U.S. authorities to have been at the controls.[6]
The aircraft began taxiing without communicating with the control tower. It maneuvered erratically and entered a runway without clearance. The tower tried to make contact, but there was no response, and the trackingtransponder was turned off. With its lights off, the aircraft took off, heading southwest over the Atlantic Ocean. Neither the plane nor the two men have been seen since.[7]"
Sounds like a mass Alien abduction.
Are we at the point of history, where the USSA declares that we are under attack from Greys, and we must unite under One Obama to fight of the threat?
Another plane missing?
Quick. Set up a search grid in the Antarctic sea!!
Smells fishy.
Hope Putin has a good Alibi
How far is it to Diego Garcia from there?
Og goodie goodie goodie. Some Great Anderson Cooper In Depth 24/7/365 on the Missing Airplane!
God! I can rest easy on the couch with Coops on the Job.
Drooling
Booyah!
PS Fuck CNN
Our stupid prick of a PM is still looking for that plane and we Oz taxpayers are on the hook for it.

Rafter, How is it possible Ive never heard of that? amazing
Interesting part about it is that if somebody wants to find you, they can do it even if you've been locked away in Grandma's old unplugged Maytag freezer in her basement with no air for 7 years, but a missing aireoplane? Not a fucking clue, idea, chance, golly gee wiz, it's a goner.
Anybody but me think that something here.... oh neverthefuckmind
The areas in which this and the Malay plane disappeared are some of the most highly electronically scrutinized on the globe and yet....
Fuck this.
I'm going golfing
Hi Rafterman! You be habbin' a good day. (Praise the cicle)
Because it happened on 25 May 2003 perhaps??
Rafter, How is it possible Ive never heard of that? amazing
We were too busy gearing up for our second invasion and occupation after 9/11 which was killing thousands by the end of that year!
Obozo's favorite hole is Reggies's behind.
Rumor is that Bath House is only a Catcher.
Bed, Bathhouse and Beyond
Did you see all thos cops turn their backs to....
Nah, who cares.
Kim K just broke the interwebs again!!!
WTF? The Bermuda Triangle moved to Southeast Asia?
There are gay baths or clubs in Malaysia... and that is not so far if conservative Indonesian serfs don't put out... or if the clubs & baths suck.
Would some so called military type please tell the NWO to knock it off already with the planes? Yes we get it--they have all kinds of weird toys to dazzle the radars and make the planes "disappear" to one of their swamps, and they have their media pole dancers to sell their fairy tales to the rest of us. We get it. They got our attention with the other two. Please stop it.
MHG0NE
How many special forces, foreign scientists, whistleblowers, or Obama birthers were on board?
Wackoism.
News for nutbars: Big passenger airplanes are complicated machines. Sometimes bad stuff happens to them if they are operated in the third world.
Or if first world nations like the USA take them down lol.
Yes, that must be it.
The Indonesians have had a pretty good run for a few years. Although they did have to smoke a few on consecutive months in 2007 to get there. Apparently 7 years is the industry memory span:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_accidents_and_incidents_involving_a...
IndonesiaBut, on a positive note, the safety fault ban on Indonesian airlines flying to the EU has been partially lifted:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airlines_of_Indonesia
"The safety-related ban on Indonesian airlines fly to European Union countries has been partially lifted since 2009 with Garuda Indonesia, Airfast Indonesia, Mandala Airlines, Express Transportasi Antarbenua, Indonesia AirAsia and Batavia Air being taken off the list. On April 21, 2011 the EU lifted the ban of Cardig Air, Republic Express, Asia Link and Air Maleo - all being cargo carriers. The ban had been imposed after a string of accidents[6]"
News for nutbars like you heywood2...
There is modern technology speeding around the Earth, in orbit, at roughly 18,500 mph. Many of these Aluminium Framed technological marvels are filled with sensors which detect electromagnetic radiation emanting from global locations. They have been known to be able to detect ICBM launches and track warhead trajectories...even in inclement weather.
They have the capability of tracking much slower aircraft. They read radiological signals emanating from those aircraft in the form of Microwaves and even the longer Radio Waves.
These devices have been placed into the orbits, by Governments, at the cost of roughly TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS PER POUND. There are hundreds of them in Low Earth Orbit currently.
You may have heard or read about them. They are called Satellites?
AIRPLANES RARELY GET LOST IN TODAY'S WORLD.
Only total WHACKOS...note the spelling...are living in a World without understanding the technological development brought about by the World's Space Exploration Programs. We have been orbiting satellites for the past 57 YEARS. That is two years longer than I have been alive.
Heywood2 is a card-carrying zionist war-mongering savage so the fact that he jumps into this thread with his usual chant of wackoism reveals that his tribe is most likely, as usual involved in the disappearance. They must have something extremely sinister up their collective sleeve by collecting all of these missing planes, probably doing a quick organ harvest from the passengers first.
Indonesian national search and rescue radars haven’t detected signals from the emergency location transmitter, says Sutrisno, the head of Basarnas, the national agency in Jakarta, as cited by Detik.com. The transmitter becomes operational once a plane is struck from outside or falls into the water. Either the plane managed to land smoothly or the transmitter was defective, the official says.
http://rt.com/news/218155-missing-airasia-flight-updates/
Was the transmitter manufactured by Takata?
heywood2,
Understand something. They are not saying the plane crashed. They are saying it disappeared. Nothing disappears, not a plane, not a mosquito. Something bad happened to it and the creeps who run this country know exactly were it is and in what condition. Every man made means of transportation in the air, on land, and underwater can be tracked. Your car and cell phone can be tracked. Everything is tracked. The NWO is in panic mode and doing things that they always kept carefully hidden thus giving us a glimpse at the depth of their depravity.
Indonesia joined the currency swap with Russia and China.
Seems like as good a time as any to say I had a crush on the Indonesian chick in several of my classes in college. Hope she wasn't on board.
I always thought you were hot, Yovita!
Too late. You may be kicking yourself for the rest of your life. Strike while the iron is hot...
Kowalli: "Let's blame Russia for this like we always do/s"
Bush JR's gotta be breathing a sigh of relief now. Putin/ Russia gets blamed for everything now-a-days.
According to local reports, the sleigh was beginning its annual Christmas Eve journey around the world when it was struck by a surface-to-air missile fired from the Russian island of Novaya Zemlya, just a few hundred miles from the North Pole. Santa and nearly all of his reindeer were killed instantly.
Norwegian fisherman soon located the debris field in the frigid waters of the Arctic Ocean. Images of the debris aired on CNN and other international news networks show broken limbs, teddy bears, and gift wrapping strewn throughout the sea.
Although Russia has officially denied involvement in the incident, U.S. intelligence forces say they have proof the missile was fired from a Russian military installation on the island. Several ultra-nationalist politicians in Moscow have praised the downing, which targeted a popular Western celebrity.
http://dailycurrant.com/2014/12/24/russia-shoots-down-santas-sleigh-near...
A member of the search party at the scene of the crash said " We have found a lot of boxes but no sign of a black one"
isn't all this missing plane stuff getting kinda old? I don't think I can muster the attention span for another one.
This one they are going to find....it was just a short haul flight....not enough gas to get way out of the way.....the weather is what did this in...they get some nasty storms there....
kowalli said: "Let's blame Russia for this like we always do/s"
Yup. "This Week with George Stephanopolous" yearly "Game Changers" segment this morning showed the wreckage of the passenger flight over Ukraine with this narrative: "The plane was shot down by Ukrainian Separatists using a Russian anti-aircraft missile."
Funny, I haven't heard the black box or air traffic control tapes yet.
Russian satellite images of a fighter jet firing an air-to-air missile, and testimony from a Ukrainian ground crew member that a pilot said he fired a missile and commented "they were in the wrong place at the wrong time" are completely ignored.
The U.S. has a fine propaganda agency in the guise of journalists in the M.S.M.
Thats a relief...I thought it was Bush's fault....
We disappeared some folks.
We disappeared some folks.
... to build up the next fleet of False Flag phantom airliners.(9-11 worked like a lucky rabbit's foot. Let's play it again Sam.)
This just in: "White, male, tea party member seen boarding plane prior to take off!"
How could some 'meanie' down vote that info hot off the FBI teletype
So they take down 154 libs if a single tea partier boards? Sweet! Sign me up. ALLEN'S SNACKBAR!! with a Southern accent.
Are you implying that the IRS is responsible for the flight's disappearance? Did they (erroneously) think the tea party guy owed taxes?
"All Planes Matter".
"some planes were shot down by some folks"
Wait..what? Again????
Ever notice this shit happening whenever Obama is traveling or putting up his putter?
So many planes going down over there...so little time for linear regressions!
The Diego Garcia triangle strikes again.
Guess Bermuda is over-crowded now. I feel sorry for the lost souls.
"The Diego Garcia triangle strikes again."
Great baseball player, if I got that right.
POTD
Anyone ever see the Twilight Zone episode (there a few with this same theme) where the kid messes with his toys which are a tiny world of real people?
It's like that.
I suppose everybody will be declared dead at the bottom of the ocean hundred of miles in the opposite direction of the plane'so last known heading too.
Did the Malaysian PM call Obama a monkey too?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacist!
Obama mistaken him for Kim Jung Un
Did the Malaysian PM call Obama a nigger?
Nope...Fiji Mariner. Hence the downing.
Malaysia is an Islamic State.
Their crime was probably finding the Bush and Cheney gang guilty of war crimes in an international court they hosted. But who really knows?
Soooooooo, WTF are we now coming to to realization that the "Lost" series was actually a documentary?
lol That was a good one.
Let's get Australia to fuck about again for 3 months or so.
Air Asiana flight filled with week-old bodies to be shot down over Novorossia in 5.... 4.... 3....
I don't like this movie anymore. The heroes are too weak and fallible; the villains are cartoonish charictures with no interesting or redeeming qualities; the plot is derivative and the concessions frankly embarassing. If we all storm the projection room to change the reel, are the managers strong enough to stop us?
CIA+NSA+MIC+Boeing=missing planes
Airbus
The 'baby' or the BRITON DONE IT!
Looks like a bumpy ride to me. That would be the flight you want the real deal pilot.

Note to self: Stay away from Asian airlines.
Note to Self: Never get on a fucking plane again as long as this President is still in office.
"Note to Self: Never get on a fucking plane again as long as this President is still in office."
Goes much, much, much deeper than this puppet. Goes way, way, way back as well.
The banksters need to repay us.
They think of us as tenants. Come and get the rent!
Note to self, never get on a fucking plane as long as I am not the one flying it. Even better, never get on a fucking plane period.
Note to self: Remove guess work to decide the which asian airline companies are still the good ones and stay away from all Asian airlines.
No, no, no!
Indonesian carriers are among the safest in the world. This was just a freak accident, I am sure.
Once happenstance, twice co-incidence, three times and I need to go back through my James Bond books to see what Ian Fleming had to say about the matter.
Of course, I forgot to mention some other guy (can't remember who) who simply doesn't believe in co-incidences.
Will this plane show up falling from the skies of some the Ukraine months from now?
The banksters need to repay us.
Makes ya wonder if there was some truth to the "Loopers" movie.

XD
Now we see why Obama "golfs" a lot...
Did anyone think to check the passengers' bucket lists for clues?
Funny, I don't see and Saudi or Israeli airplanes missing. Aren't they in a warzone?
no, war zone is Iraq, Syria and Palestina
"unusual route"
This is QZ8701, please plot us a course to the bottom of the Java trench....over.
Airasia cancelled a flight by text message a couple of days back. I guess those passengers aren't so huffy any more.
Did Indonesia also find Bush Jr. and cronies guilty of war-crimes like Malaysia did?!
The banksters need to repay us.
My parole officer says I cannot interact with known felons, so I've cut off all contact with all of the DC US government.
Air Asia is a low cost carrier. Strange if its targeted for foul play. Anyway, I bet the plane is full of Indonesian going to Singapore for end of year holiday.
My guess it that it's filled with Chinese whom for some reason Barry wanted to dispose of.
BTW, what is the cargo on this plane ?
Okay so I was 1 month and 2 days off local time from my prediction of 11/26 (search my previous posts I don't include links like ZH)
That's 33 days late for those of you keeping score which I should have also included in my previous post. Minor oversight that will be corrected next time
I'm sure this 33 means nothing. It's all just a coincidence right along with all the 33 year old actors that seem to appear in just about every major hoax and false flag lately
Well regardless of your age you really have no chance of surviving fake shootings and drills when you're a wax dummy or they're performed CPR on your arm instead of you chest (i.e. LAX shooting, Ottawa shooting, NYPD shooting)

What did (somebody on board) know about Obama that we don't?
Do we get to play "Where's the Iranian Fake Passport Guys" again?!
I prefer "Where's Waldo," but "Where's the Iranian" is fun too.
The banksters need to repay us.
I called in a terrorism tip about the goings on at:
1000 Colonial Farm Road, McLean, VA
No one has gotten back to me yet. Must have been nothing.
What about the one going down on 1900 Pennsylvania Ave? Just north of there. Priorities!
"What about the one going down on 1900 Pennsylvania Ave? Just north of there."
You discovered another cell. I've also heard of cells at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., and at East Capitol St.
DC must be riddled with them.
The banksters need to repay us.
Fuck DHS
I called in a terrorism tip about the goings on at:1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and no one has gotten back to me either. Must have been nothing.
Obviously a Russian BUK battery shootdown...the Sunday AM experts will surely verify.
too late, they must verify before it gone missing
There are 7 billion people on earth, is it insane to think that there is a "Lost" cult that could fill a few jetliners and then crash as they please? Jim Jones had koolaid. What a rube!
if they needed more plane parts to be able to fabricate evidence on another unrelated "accident", now they have it
How does Putin play into this?
Any Sony execs on that plane?
Flight 800 was a template
Air Asia's been in the news twice this month for unruly passengers. Seriously unruly barbarians!
Passengers questioned after fight breaks out on Air Asia flight
Flight attendant scalded with hot water and noodles by passengers who claimed to have bomb
The trailer trash sure crawl out of the woodwork when the tickets get really cheap.
Who was on that flight that they wanted dead or transferred elsewhere?
Anyone notice these 3 planes were Malaysian owned companies? Could there but some reason the Chinese are going guild that canal across southern Thailand, Malaysia wants to be part if a pan-Islamic gold based dinar, and Israeli passports holders aren't allowed in Malaysia?
What happened is due to the earth's polar axis shift. The Bermuda Triangle is now over Malaysia and Indonesia.
Wreckage found per RT.
http://rt.com/news/218147-air-asia-flight-missing/
05:33 gmt Airplane wreckage has reportedly been found east of Belitung Island in Indonesia, according to CCTV. The information hasn’t yet been confirmed by Air Asia.
Dont tell me, let me guess: the GPS tracking device they installed on every plane since whenever mysteriously failed in this one instance, creating another eternally unsolved disappeance.
Shit, if some nut tosses a cyanide laced letter in a random mailbox anywhere, they can tell you within a day who did it, where, when, what color car they drove up in, what gay sex they are having and what they are arguing with their lover about, but planeloads of people vanish and we dont have a fucking clue, ever. Fuck you, NSA.
sometimes a crash is just a crash.

I am a longtime ZH member and appreciate the important news angles we get on this site. There are 155 souls lost--please have some respect. Some misinfo comments above--Surabaya and Singapore are very sophisticated and wealthy areas as a whole with many Western links. Not a true third world type situation for flying. The skies are really rough here -- as an American--not USA subject--living in Bali--I flew in from Surabaya yesterday to Bali and it was very rough due to heavy thunderstorms. In this case, it appears it is a function of numbers of planes flying here and the weather. Between Lion Air and Asia Air (although Malaysian), these are some of the largest and newest airplane fleets in the world--check out the number of islands here and the number of flights.
On the other hand, in the case of the MH flights, the info I have learned here and in USA from commercial and military pilots and intelligence folks is opposite of mainstream media and in line with news and comments on this site.
God bless those who lost family today.
Yes, we understood that straightaway the first time you wrote it. Please be careful with that "Enter"-button (or "GO", if you're crazy enough to use a doomborg). ;)
May god, in which ever they believed, have mercy on the poor souls of those who lost their lives or loved ones.
By passenger list, it is mostly Chinese Indonesians.
Sadly, we've got McMolotov's 'Youvita' on board, passenger #148
Jessica, Jessica (#57) and Merry, Merry (#79) on board don't seem like real names but not in the 'Ho Lee Fuk' and 'Sum Ting Wong' realm of bullshit so who knows. Merry is an indonesian first name but I've never heard of an indo Jessica.
Neither one makes sense as a last name to me.

Who you flying for your next visa run, Cyber? lol
Based from the Name, it is highly probable that both persons are Chinese Indonesian.
Both have no surname in their passport, hence the first name and last name is the same.
Cool, thanks. I know some Chinese make up English names for themselves like Jessica or w/e but this isn't their actual, passport name (for Chinese or Chinese/Indos), to my knowledge so I'm not exactly following.
Good research. Haha. Yes Air Asia is famous now for the visa run--now infamous. The plane was full so the no shows I think are reasonable for these common flights--just my speculation. You obviously spend time out this way in Asia? Statistically, I need to see they analysis. People always say Garuda is the best and of course they have a top worldwide rating but based on the number of short haul rates, I don't know the data. I also fly private small planes when in USA even though the data is not good--nothing like a good flight landing on the beach or by pontoon on the water. So we have to understand the odds. That said, I also understand the reasons why people are suspicious these days.

Well said.
Looks like the weather most likely played a part. Although not directly related to commercial jet altitudes, anyone who has done flying in small unpressurised planes know full well how vulnerable we are to the vagaries of the weather - that area of the Indian Ocean is infamous for some spectacular storms. Besides, this aircraft is an Airbus and as far as I know, does not have an uninterruptable auto pilot system. I hope they all made it.
I am not a pilot but friends are pilots (I am not asian or black but have friends who are!). I joke not to cry and this is ZH. Seriously, I have heard that one Boeing advantage is fly by wire (or hydraulics) is still the modus operandi whereas Airbus is electronic. Obviously, I don't know if that is totally the situation or even if electronics control system failure is the cause here but lightning strikes can affect it. My best travel buddy had lightning strikes twice and once about 15 years ago on United Airlines there was an electrical fire and one engine possibly affected (he saw fire out there) but they managed to land safely while emergency personnel circled around upon landing.
