I used to work for McDonald’s as a service contractor a long time ago. Electric, plumbing HVAC etc. Got a call from a store owner on the south side of Chicago to troubleshoot why the air conditioning unit over the lobby area wouldn't blow cold air. All those stores have roof mounted HVAC units. So I climbed up the ladder with my Fluke and was going to check the fuses when I noticed somebody had hacked out all the copper tubes for the condenser coil over the winter. They climbed up on the roof, hacked them out with what looked like a fire ax (stolen from the Chi FD, I'm sure) and took them to the scrap yard for crack money. LOL. It was enjoyable to explain to the store owner why his AC wasn’t working. He really wasn't that shocked either.

Our small business office building was robbed of its copper tubes, and condensation would gather in the vents, releasing itself in mini-downpours unto our office space. FUCKING LUCKY that the downpour vent was not on top of the lab. Electronics + water = water.

The video allegedly shows a McDonald's employee attacking a 62-year-old Korean customer with a broom after he complained that he wasn't being served, smacking his cell phone out of his hand. The police were called, and the employee, Rooshi Sajjad, eventually pled guilty to attempted assault, a charge that will be dismissed "if she stays out of trouble."
