2015 Will Be All About Iran, China And Russia
Authored by Pepe Escobar, originally posted at Sputnik News,
Fasten your seatbelts; 2015 will be a whirlwind pitting China, Russia and Iran against what I have described as the Empire of Chaos.
So yes – it will be all about further moves towards the integration of Eurasia as the US is progressively squeezed out of Eurasia. We will see a complex geostrategic interplay progressively undermining the hegemony of the US dollar as a reserve currency and, most of all, the petrodollar.
For all the immense challenges the Chinese face, all over Beijing it's easy to detect unmistakable signs of a self-assured, self-confident, fully emerged commercial superpower. President Xi Jinping and the current leadership will keep investing heavily in the urbanization drive and the fight against corruption, including at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Internationally, the Chinese will accelerate their overwhelming push for new 'Silk Roads' – both overland and maritime – which will underpin the long-term Chinese master strategy of unifying Eurasia with trade and commerce.
Global oil prices are bound to remain low. All bets are off on whether a nuclear deal will be reached by this summer between Iran and the P5+1. If sanctions (actually economic war) against Iran remain and continue to seriously hurt its economy, Tehran’s reaction will be firm, and will include even more integration with Asia, not the West.
Washington is well-aware that a comprehensive deal with Iran cannot be reached without Russia’s help. That would be the Obama administration’s sole – and I repeat – sole foreign policy success. A return to the “Bomb Iran” hysteria would only suit the proverbial usual (neo-con) suspects. Still, by no accident, both Iran and Russia are now subject to Western sanctions. No matter how it was engineered, the fact that stands is that the current financial/strategic oil price collapse is a direct attack against (who else?) Iran and Russia.
That derivative war
Now let’s take a look at Russian fundamentals. Russia’s government debt totals only 13.4% of its GDP. Its budget deficit in relation to GDP is only 0.5%. If we assume a US GDP of $16.8 trillion (the figure for 2013), the US budget deficit totals 4% of GDP, versus 0.5% for Russia. The Fed is essentially a private corporation owned by regional US private banks, although it passes itself off as a state institution. US publicly held debt is equal to a whopping 74% of GDP in fiscal year 2014. Russia’s is only 13.4%.
The declaration of economic war by the US and EU on Russia – via the run on the ruble and the oil derivative attack – was essentially a derivatives racket. Derivatives – in theory – may be multiplied to infinity. Derivative operators attacked both the ruble and oil prices in order to destroy the Russian economy. The problem is, the Russian economy is more soundly financed than America's.
Considering that this swift move was conceived as a checkmate, Moscow’s defensive strategy was not that bad. On the key energy front, the problem remains the West’s – not Russia’s. If the EU does not buy what Gazprom has to offer, it will collapse.
Moscow’s key mistake was to allow Russia's domestic industry to be financed by external, dollar-denominated debt. Talk about a monster debt trap which can be easily manipulated by the West. The first step for Moscow should be to closely supervise its banks. Russian companies should borrow domestically and move to sell their assets abroad. Moscow should also consider implementing a system of currency controls so the basic interest rate can be brought down quickly.
And don’t forget that Russia can always deploy a moratorium on debt and interest, affecting over $600 billion. That would shake the entire world's banking system to the core. Talk about an undisguised “message” forcing the US/EU economic warfare to dissolve.
Russia does not need to import any raw materials. Russia can easily reverse-engineer virtually any imported technology if it needs to. Most of all, Russia can generate — from the sale of raw materials – enough credit in US dollars or euros. Russia's sale of its energy wealth — or sophisticated military gear — may decline. However, they will bring in the same amount of rubles — as the ruble has also declined.
Replacing imports with domestic Russian manufacturing makes total sense. There will be an inevitable “adjustment” phase – but that won’t take long. German car manufacturers, for instance, can no longer sell their cars in Russia due to the ruble's decline. This means they will have to relocate their factories to Russia. If they don’t, Asia – from South Korea to China — will blow them out of the market.
Bear and dragon on the prowl
The EU's declaration of economic war against Russia makes no sense whatsoever. Russia controls, directly or indirectly, most of the oil and natural gas between Russia and China: roughly 25% of the world's supply. The Middle East is bound to remain a mess. Africa is unstable. The EU is doing everything it can to cut itself off from its most stable supply of hydrocarbons, prompting Moscow to redirect energy to China and the rest of Asia. What a gift for Beijing – as it minimizes the alarm about the US Navy playing with "containment" across the high seas.
Still, an unspoken axiom in Beijing is that the Chinese remain extremely worried about an Empire of Chaos losing more and more control, and dictating the stormy terms of the relationship between the EU and Russia. The bottom line is that Beijing would never allow itself to be in a position where the US could interfere with China's energy imports – as was the case with Japan in July 1941 when the US declared war by imposing an oil embargo, cutting off 92% of Japanese oil imports.
Everyone knows a key plank of China’s spectacular surge in industrial power was the requirement for manufacturers to produce in China. If Russia did the same, its economy would be growing at a rate of over 5% per year in no time. It could grow even more if bank credit was tied only to productive investment.
Now imagine Russia and China jointly investing in a new gold, oil and natural resource-backed monetary union as a crucial alternative to the failed debt "democracy" model pushed by the Masters of the Universe on Wall Street, the Western central bank cartel, and neoliberal politicians. They would be showing the Global South that financing prosperity and improved standards of living by saddling future generations with debt was never meant to work in the first place.
Until then, a storm will be threatening our very lives – today and tomorrow. The Masters of the Universe/Washington combo won’t give up their strategy to make Russia a pariah state cut off from trade, the transfer of funds, banking and Western credit markets and thus prone to regime change.
Further on down the road, if all goes according to plan, their target will be (who else) China. And Beijing knows it. Meanwhile, expect a few bombshells to shake the EU to its foundations. Time may be running out – but for the EU, not Russia. Still, the overall trend won’t be altered; the Empire of Chaos is slowly but surely being squeezed out of Eurasia.

How is the public debt, 18.14 trillion, 74% of GDP if GDP is 16.8 trillion? Shouldn't it be 112%?
The public debt is debt that cannot be repudiated without default. The rest is internal debt, social security iou’s, or internal debt that can be repudiated, but at the cost of losing public support for the regime.
You are talking about your federal gov intenal/external debt (18 trilion USD) structure, right? For your total national intenal debt (households and all sorts of goverments included) is at 60 trillion units of USD currency last time I checked.

Yea, you can't believe anything coming from the Zioist mouthpieces, be it gov or their corporate media. How they managed to turn America into a hellhole so quickly is really something for historians to deal with, although perhaps it's not that enigmatic if you look at America as a carbon copy of their previous enterprise -- the British Empire. After all, the same bunch of people who ruled over British Empire, or rather their descendants, are ruling over America today. You have lost your Republic to the same people your founding fathers fought against 250 yrs ago.
// '; filtry.appendChild(div); }); })();]]>I wonder if that would work for the USA?

For some strange reason the Chinese had to build stuff and sell it overseas, as opposed to build stuff and sell it to their fellow countrymen.
The dumb answer is, "Well of course they did. Foreigners had more money!"
The first smart question is, "What did China need to import?"
Nodecaf
exactly...US public debt is only 12.43 Trillion? Where does that number come from?...only the USG...unless it is a typo.
It was Publicly held debt to GDP, not total USG debt. And the $18T is cash accounting...I would love to see the GAAP figure - that is required of every public corporation.
what's the difference this country living on borrowed time

You are part of the problem.
Your bios: “health insurance agency owner”
It means: You are a rent collector.
Let me prove it to you:
Example 1: US versus European Healthcare
US spend twice much and more per capita. 60 to 100% more as percentage of GDP. US higher income earners spend $3 thousand more than European high income earners.
US has a much lower population older than 65 years old than Europe. The average number of physician visits per person in the U.S. is 4, below the OECD median of 6.4, and far below Japan’s 13 visits per person.
Even by having less old people than Europe and Japan, U.S. has 96 such deaths per 100,000 people as compared to France’s 55 deaths.
However, to add insult to injury: Physicians’ incomes are the highest: $187,000 on average among primary care doctors in the U.S. versus $93,000 in Australia. And US spends twice more than Australia in prescription drugs.
https://epianalysis.wordpress.com/2012/07/18/usversuseurope/
Example 2: World Oil Production versus US Healthcare
World oil production as of July 2014: 77 million barrels a day
To keep it simple, let’s say 80 million barrels a day. And let’s price each barrel at $100 dollars a barrel.
So: 80 million X $100 dollars a barrel = $8 billion dollars a day. $8 billion X 365 days = $2.9 trillion dollars.
US healthcare cost (alone) in 2013 = $2.9 trillion dollars
See the Problem?
Bankrupted US Healthcare
Leaves 1 out 5 Americans without it
And it bankrupts about 1 million American families a year. Families with healthcare insurance.
However,
Oil goes to billions and billions of people worldwide. US alone consumes about 1/5
Oil employees millions and millions more people than the US healthcare
World’s food production for 7 billion people depends, pretty much, entirely on oil
http://peakoilbarrel.com/eias-world-production-numbers/
http://www.cms.gov/Research-Statistics-Data-and-Systems/Statistics-Trends-and-Reports/NationalHealthExpendData/downloads/highlights.pdf
So, talking about other nations as if they were the problems, and reading your post are dialects of misinformation and false choices

Interestingly I just compared RN (nurse) per hour wages. Essentially they are the same in Oz as they are here, so earnings for MD's are double but earnings for nurses the same--odd.
As far as meds some price comparisons US/oveseas Cialis: $12/tablet vs $1.20; Crestor (statin) $170/month vs $30 overseas; Benicar (BP med) $150/month vs $30 overseas. (This using only comparison meds made by world class manufacturers) In short America plunders its people in drug costs when compared to overseas prices. Prices here are based upon the simple "as much as the market can bear."
Of course the biggest piece of the pie goes to Medicare/Medicaid and there one hears: "Oh, but we only pay half." But half of Benicar's $150 = $75 when the same amount of high quality med can be purhased in Singapore for less than $50.
America's medical industry is a corruption machine to enrich the ultra-rich, it's as simple as that. Perhaps the doc's earning double that of Oz is simply dole to make them keep their mouths shut.
I had a back and forth with a research DR (I think) a few days ago here. He was saying that the US DRs would be decimated by Obamacare. I was trying to say that it has nothing to do with Obamacare, it has to do with the DRs in US have been removed from any freemarket forces and tried to use Engineers as a comparison. DRs had not experienced any sort of freemarket forces up to now...
I don't think I convinced him
this will be the year you are wrong. no gold backed anything, no spit coin either, both are non-starters; you are letting your wish override reality! wish/think syndrom. countries will use their currencies. some will go back to their currency and repudiate their debt. their value is intrin'sic' to a varring degree, reflecting the soundness of the people governing over. but better to think currencies as a hamper of dirty shirts. which one would you still slide on your skin? forget a sdr, as that requires agreement and the empire(s) of chaos/mic/zionist control are not so amenable. they are on the economic "march" til they break russia or china's "resolve". not likely, as they are resolving alternatives on their own. so it goes on til a blackie rises, and for that matter is may be a slow rise as the oil price spins off waves of anti prosperity.
the actions of chaos are self defeating as the bully appears to be doing almost everything wrong right now. blame it on "the demise of rome" imfo, ha...
"shit-coins."
LOL, good name for them.

Ok, ALL fiat currency is counterfeit, but passing currency not counterfeited by the Rothschilds is somewhat risky. Selling it over the net for bitcoin is a clever way to pass that risk on to a large number of muppets.

WORLDWIDE PROTEST DAY AGAINST DANGEROUS ECONOMIES. Spread the word
http://pneumatikeconomist.wordpress.com/2015/01/03/worldwide-protest-day...
Why would you protest against a symptom?
For all you dreamers out there who believe that the Russian economy is strong and resillient, only a few months into the economic war in Russia many of Russia's airlines are in deep deep financial trouble already:
http://www.cargoforwarder.eu/2014/12/29/transaero-declares-mayday/

Perhaps government debt is low, but most corporate debt is very high and financed in foreign currency. I guess most people here believe what they want to believe ("gold to $10000, no wait, gold to $20000!") but I doubt that most have every left the US or their parent's basement for that matter.
p.s. I'm regularly in Russia, did you know that most ATMs are configured in such a way that you can take out Roubles and US Dollars?
You are 100% on target.
most have zero idea what is going on or why, including many on zerohedge who prefer to post some comment without background knowledge.
This continous bull about China, Russia, Iran as buddy buddy is historically out of step. None of them ever trusted the other. A little desparate trade does not make a bed fellow. The Great Wall still stands for a reason. They will never trust eachother, they will never be partners...period. Most of Asia hates China and most of the ex-USSR countries hate Russia, the Middle East hates Iran. Some companythey make. And some here on zerohedge wish to keep this prayer alive that these three stomp the USA. And, as for a new currency that undermines the dollar...just what the f*&k do they base exchange on, a declining Ruble, a manulipilated Yaun, Iranian worthless funny money?
As for all these USA haters on Zerohedge, how is that Green Card application working out for you? And if you are a citizen, go to Russia or China, or Iran and spend a few weeks there and come back and tell all of us how wonderful those places are. Saying any one of these places is better than the USA is pure crap.
I do wish Zerohedge would put such 'novel stories" up where blogs are and not pass them off as NEWS.
Exactly blindfaith! Most people here are clueless, probably speak only one language, never left the country and are completely dependent on various media (each with their own agenda) to give them a picture of the world. Now I admit that perhaps it's not easy (money, time) for people to travel the world, but for fuck's sake, stop rallying behind this "oooh my God, Putin is sooooo smart" or "China knows what it's doing" bullshit posted here on ZH!
I'm also regularly in China (airline pilot) and for everybody complaning about the NSA...well...you ain't seen nothing yet! Go on the internet in China, where without a (western based!) VPN server basically nothing goes, or is extremly slow. Not to even mention the pollution or the poisonous food.
Russia is a nice place with very friendly people and good food, but the economy is totally backward, basically stuck in the 1980's. Old factories, old roads, old houses. Name ONE quality consumer (so no cheating by naming "AK47") product that comes out or Russia! There is extremely little. The best car they manage to build is a bloody Lada for god's sake! Or look at the aircraft industry. Yes, Russians can design the hull and the wings of an aircraft, but when it comes to the inovative aspects like avionics or engines (i.e. the bits that make an aircraft safe, reliable and economical to operate) they simply can't deliver anything that even remotely comes close to Airbus, Embraer, Bombardier, Boeing, Honeywell, Rolls Royce, General Electric or Pratt & Whitney. BTW, most of the USSR's aircraft industry was located in the Ukraine, 3 guesses why they want it back...
Instead of modernizing and opening up Russia, Putin has chosen to (cock)block and limit all foreign investment and influence, and only to deal with his corrupt buddies in a corrupt legal framework who make billions. Example? Look at the industry in which I work (airline) and look at the registration of aeroplanes. Most western build aircraft flying in Russia are registred in Bermuda ("VP" or "VQ" registration) instead of Russia ("RA"). Why? Simple, because of the corrupt and opague Russian legal system, foreign companies only do business with Russia if their leased and financed assets can be impounded again in case of default or non-payment!
Putin wants to close the Siberian airspace to foreign airlines? Great! Let him do that and see how fast Aeroflot will be bankrupt because they can no longer subsidize it with the extorion fees charged to foreign airlines for overflying Russia! (see the links I posted above)
The airline I work for could have much more business in Russia (there is enough potential!), but the enormous bureaucracy and corrupt protectionism prevents us from doing more business there. The same goes for China. However, just like the governments prevent us, they also prevent their own citizens from starting businesses and building up the economy.
Russia has boxed themselves into a corner by having an economy that is almost totally dependent on energy (oil & gas), a corrupt and opague legal system preventing any Russian free enterprise or foreign investment, and almost no domestic industry or know-how. Every ounce of enterpreneurship is strangled by a corrupt bureaucracy which only serves a few well connected individuals. The ordinary citizens are either ignored (Russia) or left to rot (China) and everybody with a bit of money or an education, from the billionair to the computer programmer, wants to leave or has left already. So now, especially in Russia, there is very very little to fall back on.
These countries are not free, these countries are not "Austrian economies" as propagated here, but these countries love to supress their people so that a few fat cats can walk away with the loot. Bascially the same things that all the Russia and China fanboys here like accuse the US oligarchs of! You want to see the future of the US with regards to personal freedom, honest money, health and a flourishing economy? Look no further than Russia or China!
p.s. oh yeah, and forget about Russia or China introducing a gold standard! Ain't gonna happen folks, they like to manipulate just as much (if not more!) as the FED or JPMorgan! Sorry, but do keep on BTFD though and cathing that falling golden knife. That's a really smart strategy...
Here it comes, the counter-movement. Yes, the quality of life in Russia and China is worse than the US. Is that what you people base your tirades on? Why don't you read the article instead of only reading the reflection of your wounded egos? What you're rambling about is the status quo, the article talks about future and potential. It is much easier for Russia and China to kick the US out of Asia than it is for the US to expand there. The same, in a lesser measure, is applicable in the middle east and Africa. China is going for a hard landing, Russia has its own grave weaknesses, but the problem is that the US is in the depths of Keynesian hell, while the other two can compensate for each other. China will avoid economic collapse because of Russian gas, while Russia will gain currency and trade support from China. The quality of life is irrelevant. This is about preparing for the future, not deciding which country is best.
And since you like to flaunt your "knowledge" i speak 4 languages fluently, including Russian, while my wife speaks 3, including chinese.
Children.
"China is going for a hard landing, Russia has its own grave weaknesses, but the problem is that the US is in the depths of Keynesian hell, while the other two can compensate for each other."
Hmm, I see what you mean, but don't you think that an inovative mind and hard skilled work are better preparations instead of oil, gas or gold reserves? IMnot-so-HO ;-) I think that the US and to some extend China will be less fucked than Europe or Russia. Both the US and China are clever and are able to produce, where as Europe and Russia lack the flexibility and inovation (US) or the simple hard labor (China) in order to rebuild from when the piramid scheme collapses.
p.s. what I meant regarding to languages is the ability to read different media. You can read Russian, so you can read Russian websites and blogs which can give you a different perspective with which you can also confirm or refute things that are posted here as 'facts' about Russia. Being able to speak Russian (but not actually a Russian citizen or living there?) you have second hand experience regarding Russia, I have third hand experience, merely visiting and looking at Russia through the eyes of a foreigner. But I really wonder how many of these authors who post stuff here on ZH actually visit the countries they write about. A lot of it seems 4th hand experience and mere wishful thinking in order to fill the gaps in their 'Austrian' and pro-gold theories.
Another great example was this gold referendum in Switzerland. Anyone who can read and speak German could see that it was going to be a D.O.A. but people here (and on KWN, TF Metals etc) were foaming at their mouths, thinking (read: hoping!) that this would finally push gold prices (!) out of the dolldrums. By the way, isn't it funny how these gold pump-and-dumpers always talk about "value" and yet only want PRICES to go up? Talk about "wealth effect..." ;-)
Russia is being saved for 100 years from now. The royals have a long term occupancy view.
The dollar has top of the line couterfeit technology, plus secret stuff.
Since I speak six languages, does that mean my opinions on geopolitics and economics have 50% more veracity than yours?
Keynesian Hell, eh? Sounds scary, but there are many ways to tumble. China printed more in the last five years than the US, Japan and EU combined. Are they in the 8th Circle? China is not so popular in the rest of Asia, either, and its numerous contracts with 3rd World strongmen are worth little if the populace of the colonies turns against them, especially since China cannot yet project military power (China had to fund a war and arm a government in Burma to take on the Kachin, who objected to China raping their land and damming all the rivers). Russia has little sovereign debt because they just defaulted a decade and a half ago, but remember Spain had relatively little sovereign debt until their banking system tumbled. That may be Russia’s future unless oil and gas prices recover and countries such as Lithuania give up plans for building LNG facilities that obviate Russian gas. Russian corporates borrowed heavily in dollars back when the ruble was 32/$. Not good. Russian banks were browbeaten by Putin to loan to his oligarch buddies (who have expatriated a good deal of the capital, forcing Putin to "offer amnesty" on repatriated capital), and Putin has already begun bailing the banks out, using the <$81 billion National Wealth Fund to do it (ZH logic: bank bailouts in the US are wrong, but in Russia okay). CB reserves are now below $400 billion, and that amount includes everything: gold at current market, Special Drawing Rights at the IMF, and other IMF accounts. Folks here argue that Russia should "back" the ruble with gold and oil, suggesting that a tumbling currency backed by falling commodities creates a positive. (Anyway, I'm sure Putin would let anyone who wanted trade their rubles into the CB for gold. Same with China...it went to all the trouble of accumulating gold just so it could be a river to its people and exchange yuan for gold coins.) Russia’s population is shrinking, life expectancy is declining, and it is surrounded by countries that do not trust it and are the ones asking to join NATO. China sees the wounded animal and is hosing them on energy deals---all the while remembering Nicholas II, Port Arthur 1905, and Lenin after 1917---and setting its long term sights on Siberia.
Ain’t nobody innocent, ain't nobody safe. Same as it always was, same as it will always be. We just think we're living in unique times. The Panic of 1819, Panic of 1825, Panic of 1837, Panic of 1847, Panic of 1857, Panic of 1869, Panic of 1873, Panic of 1882, Panic of 1884, Panic of 1893, & Panic of 1896...just to name a few, says it ain't all Keynesian Hell.
The "Keynesian Hell" quote came from Ayreos, so for the most part I agree with you. Russia's situation is far less rosy than people here want to believe or portray it.
Panics, yup, alot of them. Short and sweet, though, weren't they? I suppose everyone got their chance at an open window too. But it took the Fed to create a full blown extended depression. I ask what are we facing today with this wobbly, centralised, and international financial system when its many players panic? At least back in the ante-central banking era, the very real spectre of financial ruin kept the tip of everyone's spear sharp. And if not, there was usually a window or a rope. No judicial system required.
400 billion excluding gold . Chindit
Well..if their products are that bad, why does the USA and other countries use Russian rockets to get their stuff in orbit and to the Space Station...?
Let me answer that question by posing another. How did japan get the technology to build state of the art aircraft carriers for the ww2 theater project?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSJemA-eviU
I predict Space X will be putting the US in orbit this year.
"The best car they manage to build is a bloody Lada for god's sake!"
And that is a stolen design from Fiat no less. All they did was extend the shock absorber movement cause the roads are so poor.
The thought of Russia forcing worldwide companies to build firms in Russia so that they can steal that manufacturing is also laughable. The costs, which was one of the main drivers in the Chinese decision, would be higher than the US or Mexico, and the workers would far far worse...
That is why it has remained a natural resource, rape and pillage economy....
First of all well written response and I appreciate the perspective; however, as I consider whether or not to engage it’s readily apparent that you are entirely biased so why bother.
I’m an American who has never been to Russia but it’s obvious to me that America is in 2015 nothing more than a decomposing corpse. For god sake a white person can not even walk the streets of a major American city without fearing for their life today and while you may be happy that WallSt and the banks have been bailed out while average investors have been stiffed many are not. I’m so angry that I can barely contain my emotions. I daily fantasize about what I’d like to do these maggots who swindled all of my money…
So while I hear your criticisms of Rus & Chin and I’m quite sure many are legit you obviously have no idea what deep shit America is in and there’s no way out..
Again while you may be enjoying the big life I can assure you your nation has already been destroyed and you are living on borrowed time.. lol
The big problem is that, although you might think that the US is going down the drain, what's most important is that it's all relative compared to other countries. Sure, perhaps the US really is "a decomposing corpse" but what makes you so sure that, without ever having visited these countries, these other decomposing zombie corpses are much better? Again, that's where visiting and/or speaking the local language comes in handy, because it allows one to differentiate between propaganda and facts.
Apart from consumer goods factories and building a wall to keep out foreigners, China has not invented much. Europe underwent the Enlightment, the US and Russia produced many clever people, scientists and inventors, but what has China invented...say the last 2-300 years? As a matter of fact, their only 'good skill' is to copy what ever the West shoves under it's nose, whether these are the blueprints to build real iPhones, or they'll reverse engineer things to produce fake Louis Vuitton bags. They'll copy ANYTHING, including our polution, traffic jams and, last but not least, our fiat currency system. If they were really so smart, then surely they would have learned from our mistakes, no? Nope, they were not that smart, and I doubt that they are smart enough to outflank anyone with a gold standard.
As for Russia, the country is basically one big Detroit! US car manufacturers never modernized and technology wise are mostly stuck in the Cold War era of the 1980's. Most of the things Russia makes are only for domestic use with partly obsolete technology, simply because they lack any real quality production and inovation which makes them good enough for export. Lada is not Mercedes, Tupolev is not Boeing and the world yet has to hear of a Russian Apple, Microsoft or Caterpillar etc.
So the US can only consume/inovate, Russia can only pump oil/gas and China can only produce. I think it's too close to call whoever comes out on top after a systemic crash, but my guess would be the one who is more flexible and imaginative to adapt. Clearly that will not be China, and although Russia has a proven track record of being able to deal with a collapse, I doubt that their sluggish bureaucracy will enable them to actually really make something out of it. It's population is too apathic after decades of communism and Putinism. Europe? Nope, too divided both culturally and economically to form one big economic block despite the common Euro currency window dressing.
Which to me, leaves the US... Sure, plenty of consumer, corporate and government debt but remember, that debt will be all wiped out by a collapse, which leaves a very enterprising and creative population to rebuild the nation and economy from scratch. The only question that remains for me will be: how much gold does the US really have left in order to recapitalize it's industrial basis?
US can only innovate . again wrong . Look at Chinese innovating at much rapid rate . Moreover , Twitter and Google had russian starters too . American population can start from scratch but what ? The day your liablities implode you can't do anything except being a shrinked economy . Your comments show way too much optimism for americans that with their collapsing empire they can still maintain their hegemony all over the world . Moreover your knowledge on r.f. and china is a typical msm rhetoric which they spout to lure unconscious mind like yours Sadly they can't be in coming time . If you want to stay ignorant its your choice . Let that sink in hard norwegian .
As usual, people only read what they want to read. I NEVER said that Chinese or Russians were stupid, but I'm saying that they haven't really managed to build a diversified and inovative economy.
Telegram (a messenger app like Whatsapp) for example is a Russian idea, but the company is based in Berlin Germany. Guess why? Most probably because the owners/creators don't want to share their hard earned profits with the mobsters that run the courts and the country, and additionally they don't want their servers to be comprimised by the FSB and SVR.
Whether it's inovations in aviation, the automotive industry, computers or commerce, you hardly see anything NEW from Russia or Chinese. They just copy paste a Western idea, or at the most they expand a little bit on the idea.
Like it or not (and we can definitely agree that the merrits of some of those developments like Facebook and Apple's iPhone are very dubious and somewhat stupifying) but the ideas that currently lead inovation are mostly Western, and American in particular. From where I'm standing I don't see too many people standing in line to buy a Chinese smartphone, or pay a premium for a Russian car. It's more the other way around: Chinese going crazy about Apple products and Russians buying bulletproof German cars (with 'police' sirene and blue lights for extra mobster appeal, hehe!)
Let that sink in, tough guy! ;-)
Duh! I'm not Norwegian! :-P
"I'm saying that they haven't really managed to build a diversified and inovative economy."
What? Russia has barely had time for recovery and is under attack by the US and China has been trying to bring a billion people out of poverty.
The one big, possibly fatal, flaw is that Russia and China have been copying 21st century America, not 18th century America.
America is no longer unique, it is just another evil shithole country.
Huh? Russia barely had time to recover? Russia had >20 years since the collapse of the USSR to rebuild and modernize it's industry and clean up it's aniquated and corrupt judicial system.
Instead, it has basically kept the old communist system alive, just with a new lick of 'democratic and capitalist' paint to cover up the rusty spots.
Viktor Chernomyrdin (ex Russian PM) summed it up brilliantly with: "Whatever organisation we try to create, it always ends up looking like the Communist Party."
He has more very funny and true sayings, a must read if you want to understand Russia better: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor_Chernomyrdin#Sayings
My all time favorite (and his most famous) quote is: “We wanted the best, but things turned out as usual." I always have to smile and think about this quote when I sit in the back of a taxi somewhere in Russia, getting tossed around by all the potholes and watch babushka's cleaning the sidewalks with those old fashioned broomsticks.
I always love going to Russia! It's a beautiful country with nice, stoic people who have a dark and cynical sense of humour and, on paper, I agree that the country has huge potential, but a centralist, inflexible and autocratic government lacking any real vision and foresight will continue to fuck things up for the average Russian.
You say the system "fucks things for an average Russian". Again, I can agree with that to a certain extent, but you have to understand that democracy and the "system" in the Western sense does NOT work in Russia and I'm pretty certain it will never work there! They have to find a model of their own, they as people prefer a "strong hand" approach, a Tsar, a leading figure.. that is their way for better or worse. How that Western democracy worked in Russia we saw quite well in the 90s... the country was looted on a MASSIVE scale, it was a total disaster. You can argue looting is happening today with different oligrachs and Putin's cronies, that is true, but compared to the 90s this is still an improvement.. It will take time for any reforms to take place there. Western style democracy does not work there. The problem with Russia is that there really is no meaningful opposition and people with leadership skills who have the ability to govern that massive complex country, but this is something for the Russian people to figure out, not the USSA..
What I do know for certain is that the general population of both Russia and China (but especially the Russians) are much better prepared for a major collapse than the general population of the US/EU.. so in that sense the fact that they have lower living standards means they have less expectations..
I also know a thing or two about Russia.. your views are a bit simplistic. What you are saying about the Russian economy, judicial system and corruption is largely correct. However, everything is comparative and I'm not sure you have experienced Russia in the 90s.. now if we compare the living standard of the population and the state of the economy with those times you have to say there's been major improvement. The general living standard of Russian people under Putin has gone up quite a bit, there's a reason why he has 84% approval, it's not just due to propaganda. Of course we can atribute that success to the high oil price and Putin's ability to run the economy under more difficult circumstances remains to be seen..
As to stealing and innovation - I'm with you about China, these guys copy EVERYTHING, it's absolutely pathetic and at the same time rather scary since I've held in my hands products that are copied so well that you would never guess it's a copy.. that is something of a major concern about the Chinese, they can copy all American products (except the high end stuff that they have not got their hands on yet) and manufacture them at low cost and sell them on Alibaba to a global market.. this is already happening on a massive scale. As to the Russians I have not seen them blatantly copying Western products. They have done so in the past, but under licencing with cars, electronics etc. They are indeed techologically behind especially in terms of high end machinery and electronics, but this is something they realize very well and I'm sure if they make an effort they can get up to speed within a reasonable time frame, but only provided that the political system allows them to develop and not hinder the progress.. In terms of software they should be OK as they have the best programmers in the world.
From its very inception, the US grew and prospered from a brain drain from the rest of the world. That is ending.
The US was founded on the concept of small government, individual rights, and freedom, all of which contributed to growth and prosperity. That has definitely ended.
Your view is biased by America's past, but that, like the Soviet Union, is gone. Extrapolation from both histories is foolish.
America's relative decline will continue to accelerate and when King Dollar is overthrown, it will fall even faster because it will no longer be able bully other countries, monetarily or militarily.
Do you really believe that the banks are going let any debt go unpaid in one form or another? Bankruptcy "reform" and new laws took care of that. Just ask any kid starting out in life with hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans they they will never be able to pay or startup businesses corporation owners who are personally on the hook for all liabilities. These days once you are hooked you stay hooked for life.
I agree. And what it looks like to me, rather than all the RUSSIA and CHINA are in such a great position folks, is that this is a GLOBAL FUCKING. Does anyone here think that there is anything new going on? This is corruption and greed on a massive scale, fucking everywhere. And it is coming home to roost for the entire fucking planet. STFU about one system is better than the other, one is more free than the other, one has a better economy than the other. They are all trying to do the same fucking thing. The elites in every place are trying to steal everything for themselves as they always have, only the economies are more interconnected, the bubbles bigger, and I don't think anyone can accurately predict wtf is going to happen.
Whatever.
The drive for all government entities is growth - internally and externally.
Witness the US government. It micromanages almost all aspects of life internally and is striving to duplicate that worldwide. That is the greatest current threat.
Stop that and the elites have to regroup and start anew.
A touch of air sickness?
Being a pilot probably means you learned to fly in the Military. I've signed my own paychecks my entire life.
Gold Bitchez....I pick up trash
@Bokkenrijder
You make some good points and I can agree with most. However, the fact that today the US/EU are much more prosperous and standards of living are higher than enywhere else does not mean that it will not change in the future and that these guys can dictate EVERYONE in the world what they should do, bully countries into submission via financial and/or military terror and impose their will unhindered giving two shits about international law. THAT is what this is all about. I'm all for democratic principles, freedoms, tolerance etc., the very principles the US/EU advocate, but the reality today is completely different. If there are international laws out there then those must be followed by EACH and EVERY country out there - NO EXCEPTIONS. The fanboyism you point out can be explained largely by the fact that Russia, China and Iran are the very few countries that are able to withstand this Western pressure to change their ways. People generally root for the underdogs and in this case the underdogs are those who stand up to the Western diktat. There needs to be balance in the world and these countries, despite all their flaws, can provide this much needed balance so that the West can also be held accountable for their actions.
one of you is 5 years 18 weeks, the other 5 years 19, and the infrequency of your posting over the past, say, 6 months, is strange given your devotion to attacking readers here who don't adhere to the MSM/Neocon/State Department narrative.
Just an observation.
Some of us are probably considerably more intelligent than you tend to believe. Propagandists always have a bit of a messiah complex. There is considerable information in the blind spots.

the inovative aspects like avionics or engines (i.e. the bits that make an aircraft safe, reliable and economical to operate) they simply can't deliver anything that even remotely comes close to Airbus, Embraer, Bombardier, Boeing, Honeywell, Rolls Royce, General Electric or Pratt & Whitney.
Yeah. That is why American Rockets use Russian Engines like the Atlas.
Hell. The USA cannot even place a Human Being into Low Earth Orbit without Russian Technology. (We are totally dependent upon the Russian Soyuz for rides to the International Space Station.)
Are you up in Low Earth Orbit, out in space, dude? Why don't you get real and come back down to Earth.
blindfaith: Notwithstanding the turmoil that has been in China, caused by the US, read about the boxer revolution, and similar events in Russia before communism, by the by, did you know Lenin was a Jew, and lived in New York where he formulated his beliefs of communism, which is similar to the kibutz system in Israel. Russia is still feeling its way after the disastrous attemp at subversion by US agencys. Read what Kissinger has to say about the mindless antics of the Fascist washgton mob. Yes, I have been to Russia, when it was the USSR, and everything I was told about the place was absolute rubbish, that in itsself was an eye opener.
From what I am reading about the USA, I do not wish to go there, once upon a time I did, but no more, although I have relatives there. I am alergic to groping.

Blind..im sure that you have noticed that if anyone dares to say anything negative about the "beloved" Russia...you get down voted...fucking joke
These fucking cocksuckers are proagandists, however those pesky facts, yes facts, interrupt their propagandists posts..but we are directed away from any lingering examintion of the basis for these posts
Thats right you fucking propagandist cock suckers, Putin is fucking your country right in the ass...and you the posters here are saying Putin is the greatest thing since vodka...yes siree thats fair and balanced reporting, oh and if anyone dares to challenge Ptin publicly you are threatened with execution and/or jail time, now thats a free and open society...seems more like a dictatorship
Fucking hilarious...
The trouble is that most questions aren't really binary. Americans love binary considerations and since they're rare, we have to make them up.
I'm perfectly capable of recognizing Putin as the product of a corrupt and since-disintegrated Empire, who was quick-witted enough to make his way as the enforcer for oligarchical organized crime. He's as cold-blooded and ruthless as it gets, as countless examples illustrate. That doesn't make him stupid or crazy. In fact, given what he has to work with, he's been quite succesful in pursuing his aims.
The fact that Putin is a bastard does not, in binary fashion, force me to support the bastardy of the US/EU global finance Empire.
swmnguy, okay, the fact that Putin only cares about himself and his Oligarch cartel begs the question how does this benefit the average citizen in Russia? It vclarly doesnt as the proloteriat is left to suffer the rath of sanctions nd the collpsing ruble and economu, while Vlad continues to dine on Caviar, and run aaround shitrtless with leopards
Seriously, there are mostly well educted, and decent folks in Russia, how is it that Putin is allowed to run amuck?
Answer, no one dares challenge the dictator, therin lies the problem...and it is sad to see Putin capitalize on the dismay in the country caused when it collapsed, to project that Putin seeks to return Russia to a superpower to "benefit the proloteriat". Thee only benefit sought is solely or him and the KGB Buds
Cannot understand why folks cannot seee right through that charade
How does the CIA-backed illegal coup d'etat of the Ukrainian government and the sanctions on Russia help US or EU citizens in any way? Who does it benefit other than NATO/DoD and the western bankers? Why do well-educated and decent folks in the US and EU allow the CIA and NATO to run amuck?

Russian economy is not build on lies, deceptions and frauds, unlike in "the beacon of freedom and transparency" - the West - are, you filthy whore!
And Russian businesses should just stop paying anything they apparently own to the Western bankster scum, because that Zionist scum hadn't owned anything prior to loaning it out -- it was all frauds, a scam, whore! Those claims on frauds are worthless, just like the paper, which should be claims on the real money - gold and silver, are frauds from 1971 onwards, whore! What do you think that Zionist scum could do to force their way then, hm? Nothing, whore! That Zionist scum has build the Empire of Illusions, and when the illusions fail in their purpose, there is nothing the Zionist scum can do then! Nada!
// '; filtry.appendChild(div); }); })(); // ]]>// '; filtry.appendChild(div); }); })();]]>p.s.
That is why the Zionist scum cannot conquer 2 Afganistani tribes (Pashtunis and Punjabis), because their Western illusions don't work on Pashtuni and Punjabi's populace. They can only rape their humanoid creations, libtard animals and similar Western breed idiots, because those animals do not have the spine or the brain to resist them!
// '; filtry.appendChild(div); }); })(); // ]]>// '; filtry.appendChild(div); }); })(); // ]]>// '; filtry.appendChild(div); }); })();]]>Perhaps government debt is low [in Russia], but most corporate debt is very high and financed in foreign currency. I guess most people here believe what they want to believe ("gold to $10000, no wait, gold to $20000!") but I doubt that most have every left the US or their parent's basement for that matter.
Conversely Government debt is high in the USA and most corporate debt is very high. Well I guess most people here in the USA believe what they want to believe ("Foreign Demand for US Dollars will not ever wane so we can print Trillions upon trillions of them. Deficits don't matter.") but I doubt that most here on this forum will believe that nonsense, regardless of whether, or not, they have ever left the USA..
And as for the very few here whom live in Mommy's basement, they do not have the means of getting out..because of the USA's "robust" economic growth, employment market, and "recovery".
And if you believe that the Oil Price decline will be weathered by the United States, while destroying Russia, you may want to look at the EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE that most QUALITY JOB GROWTH has been in the Petroleum Industry Sector. And since the Shale Operations are beginning to shut down as that sector becomes less attractive to capital, that sector is highly leveraged in CORPORATE DEBT, then the collapse of that industry will completely destroy the shreds of what remains of any US Economic Recovery whatsoever.
Since you are regularly in Russia then I must assume that you have not visited the GUTTED OUT CITIES, the GUTTED OUT MANUFACTURING FACTORIES, and the DISMAL MESS that exists throughout this Nation in a deep depression. You cannot be in two places at once. When was the last time you visited "Flyover Country", asshole?
What a fucking stupid, arrogant TROLL. What a Neocon POS. You haven't a clue about the audience whom you address. Many of us are PROFESSIONALS, scientists, engineers, bankers, lawyers, University Professors, et al.
We are not living in "Mommy's Basement" and those whom have sired offspring whom are, need to evict them as soon as possible.
But they need EMPLOYMENT otherwise they will become HOMELESS just like Thomas Jefferson foresaw 220 years ago.

Since when does being against the fraud that is our domestic fracking "boom", a fraudulent industry that has pushed prices of crude into the stratosphere, equal being a "neocon"?
People have read my posts. I hate neocons...the evil offspring of ziocons and monsters so demonic that they cannot be described. However, neocons and fracking scammers are siblings. Don't forget it. You guys praise this bullshit industry and decry the fact that folks can't get out of their parent's basement....yet with oil where it should be, at sub-$40 bucks, maybe some wheels might start turning.
I frankly don't think anything can save us. What is to come, simply must.
I do not know how you garnered the idea that I support fracking from any of my posts. (I know that it is a fraud based upon the ability to borrow at fictitiously low interest rates.) I do not. In fact I understand that it is economically unfeasible because of the Exponential Growth in the number of wells needed just to maintain a constant output..
In fact I cannot understand how you believe that I equate noeconism with being against the fraud of the Shale Oil Scam.
But, regardless to your misunderstanding, sub $40 Oil will bring about the collapse of the current paradigm (which is not bad as it, coincidentally, brings about the collapse of the fraud.)
My point was that the neocons mistakenly believe that the supressed Oil Prices will somehow bring down the Russian Economy while leaving America's Economy unscathed. The truth is that following this current policy will destroy any economy that America has remaining.
The initial post to which I replied, Bokkenrijder's post. 5618005, stated that the people whom post here are "living in their parent's basement." I replied that many of us, on this forum, do not and are professionals.
And as for giving support to neocons I have been extremely vocal against it.
But the sad truth is that the collapse of the current paradigm will result in widespread unemployment, homelessness, famine, starvation, and subsequent death for many whom are unprepared for the eventuality.
And you are correct. There is no power on Earth that can give salvation other than that of Christ Jesus. And far too many here just sadly believe that is a myth.
But many more people will buy into buy into the myth that there are "political solutions" when, as the EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE has demonstrated throughout the eons, is that THERE ARE NO POLITICAL SOLUTIONS.
We do not have any real problem. We are in a predicament where possible outcomes are realized. THERE ARE NO VIABLE CHOICES.
There will be "no wheels turning" at sub $40 because the outstanding borrowers on loans for fracking will default...and that will implode the banks whom made the damned loans in the first place. THERE WILL BE NO FUCKING ECONOMY LEFT.
Personally I desire price stability as that provides a foundation upon which a recovery can be built.
However when every currency FLOATS, and there is a lack of any solid foundation upon which to build, as FLOATING IS DYNAMIC, then the solid foundation will not be realized. It is as impossible as building a large Metropolis upon water. The currents, tidal affects, and other weather extrema, over a short time, will tear that city apart.
Thus there is a need for a SOLID Foundation upon which to set VALUES. Then true price discovery, and, following that, price stability, can be achieved. Gold has served as that foundation for the past 5000 plus years. But many will reject that also.
So either you proposed a Strawman argument or you misunderstood my post and my history of posts. But I am willing to yield the benefit of the doubt.
MY apologies, TT, I misinterpreted your post. We are brothers in arms.
Nice reply Tall Tom,
Thanks.

What about the Seals on the US Counterfeits? (Green Seals on FED RES BS...Red on US NOTES...Blue on Silver Certs.)
Have the people marketing these solved the problem of the "Non Drying" Ink?
A Note can date from the 1920s...The ink on the seal NEVER DRIES. It will rub off onto white paper.
Have the people marketing these solved that problem?
(Getting the paper is rather easy...Just bleach out $1 Dollar Bills. But as for the seal, that is an entirely different obstacle.)
If the FED decides to counterfeit then it is okay.

Taking on Russia while involved in wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan, Syria and Somalia, maintaining 900 bases in 130 countries, pivoting to Asia to box and control China, is imperial overreach.
The Neocons, who dictate US foreign policy, have been getting away with wars against medieval Muslim countries since the 1990s. Now they have bitten off more than they can chew.
The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan cost over $6 trillion compared to only $738 billion for the Vietnam war in 2011 dollars. Eternal and universal war will cause the collapse of the dollar.
The decade-long American wars in Afghanistan and Iraq would end up costing as much as $6 trillion, the equivalent of $75,000 for every American household, calculates the prestigious Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government
http://www.globalresearch.ca/us-wars-in-afghanistan-iraq-to-cost-6-trill...
Expose the fraud that is 9/11 and the Neocons will know what it's like to receive a swift kick to the balls. Then sanity might have a chance.
I'm all for giving the Neocons a swift kick in the balls or, as the case may be, labia... right before they are boiled in oil.
It has amazed me for a long time that so many stupid people put psychopaths on pedestals and turn their lives over to them.
Don't you mean "intelligent people"? Why would stupid people doing stupid things amaze you?
Intelligent people do not put the psychopaths on pedestals.
If one does that it is a sign of underlying stupidity and you must reassess them if you had overestimated them as intelligent.
But what the fuck do I know? I am just stupid also. as I have done that in the past before becoming aware.

If they refuse to see then they are still in the Matrix and they are the enemy.
The enemy must be engaged and destroyed if there is any hope for a return to sanity....which I seriously doubt.
I thought it was the Lithium Test, because there's lots of successful students here.
Since you're an expert, perhaps you can tell me why "they" went to all the trouble of a complex and labor intensive controlled demo, when a couple of shaped charges could have produced the greatest 7-10 split---into the East River and the Hudson---the world has ever seen. Did they have some kind of death quota or something? I mean, since "they" were eventually going to let Lehman and Bear Stearns go, they could have gotten rid of them on 911 (Lehman was across the street, Bear might have been out of reach on the East River, but worth a try) and saved themselves all that trouble later.

The neocons were able to keep the role of US support for Israel and its ongoing bloody occupation out of the media even though bin Laden and Khalid Mohammed both specifically cited it.
Per the official narrative, these two guys were the very top tier - and their claims are kept out of the press, and for the most part out of the 9/11 report?
Jewish, Zionist power is more deeply embedded that even the open-minded and patriotic are probably aware.

I would add Venezuela and Cuba to the author's list.
Given that the Neocons got Russia pinned down at home (as intended), they will have a relatively easy time with Cuba and Venezuela: The Charm Offensive with Cuba, and Debt Offensive with Venezuela.
If I were Russia, I'd renew the naval base in Cuba, and let China be Venezuela's economic benefactor via direct Currency Swaps. That would tick off the 'cons.

Russia and China do not need any shitcoins. They want gold as a means of payment. Therefore, I choose gold.
you might want to get rid of the false dichotomy of either-or, it's a foolish way of thinking.
gold and bitcoin are not at odds, they are complimentary and serve different roles.
gold is excellent as a store of value.
bitcoin is excellent at moving wealth and circumventing capital controls.
they are both useful tools against central bankers' financial repression, use the right tool for the job.
You can't print gold.
You can use Shitcoin to buy Physical Gold in foreign nations.
As for "printing Gold"?
CME Group has been printing Gold for quite awhile. Previous to that the USA printed Gold until the Default of August 15, 1971. Perhaps I cannot print Gold. But that does not mean that there are others whom are endowed with that "illusory" talent.
Perhaps, but if you can control the price of Gold with paper, who cares?
That can only happen for a short while.
The failure of Bretton Woods stands as a Historical Testimony to that. The US Dollar was "Paper Gold" beforehand. But the fraud was exposed thus the following two years were extremely volatile until the US Dollar was backed by Saudi Oil.
Now that system is on the precipice of failure in addition to the failure of the paper hanging bastards at the CME Group.
And WHEN those DEFAULTS happen there will be no trust as the World's Economy seizes due to a Credit Freeze that will make the Credit Freeze of m2008 look like a Sunday walk in the park.
Looking forward to the famine and subsequent destruction. I am relishing that moment and will embrace it wholeheartedly as that is the day that the broad systemic fraud DIES.
"You can't print gold."
correct.
and you can't print bitcoin, either.
Imagine going back in time 15 years and warning everyone about all the crazy shit coming down the pipe. They would send you to the funny farm!
-The presidential election will be decided by one vote... on the supreme court.
-There will be a nuclear terrorist attack on New York, perpetrated by Israel, the Bush administration, and the Pentagon, with obvious evidence right out in the open, and nobody will question it.
-The attack will be used as bait and switch to wage a $3 trillion war against a country which didn't even have anything to do with the patsies, let alone the actual attack.
-There will be a resurgence of fascism and slavery, and people will call it freedom.
-Two Skull and Bonesmen will run against each other in 2004. They will refuse to talk about it and everyone else will be cool with that. Isn't democracy great?
-TV will be mostly fearmongering, propaganda, celebrity gossip, and reality shows about giant-assed sluts. There will be a time when the truthiest TV news will be on Comedy Central. "The Onion Reality" will acquire meaning.
-A black gay foreign muslim communist will become president. He will spend most of his time golfing, reading from a teleprompter, and watching drone bombings. By any objective measures he will be worse than Bush, but the left will love him, because thinking anything else would be racist.
-The Fed will print tens of trillions of dollars and give it to the banks, including many foreign banks, but hyperinflation will be delayed because the economy will suck so bad that people will hold held their dollars tight. People will be awed by the power of central planning.
-Billion dollar scams will become so common that most will be ignored. Only one person will go to jail, and only because he stole from Zionist charities.
-Housing will be sliced and diced so many ways that people will end up getting foreclosed on by multiple banks that they never even signed with. Nobody will have clear title to their house. And nobody will go to jail.
-They will change the rules so that bank accounts can be raided due to bank failure, in addition to all the other excuses for legalized plunder. Banks will stop paying interest. Despite all this, there will not be bank runs. One might think that's because everyone will be more afraid of cops stealing their cash, but no. It will be because everyone will be brick stupid.
-A passenger jet will be abducted to Diego Garcia. The media will blame terrorists, then aliens and black holes, then back to Kim's giant ass.
-There will be SWAT team raids over raw milk, unpaid student loans, feeding the homeless, etc, etc. Babies will get their faces blown off. The only people who will go to jail (or the morgue) will be the innocent victims.
-The Russians will become the good guys.
But we're just getting started! Think of all the crazy shit coming down the pipe for the NEXT fifteen years! If we don't get at least one hoaxed ailen attack by 2030, Krugman and I will be very disappointed.
There is a lot of dirty work that needs to be done to prevent the next fifteen years from being a repeat (or worse) of these past 15.
Sometimes I wonder what, if anything, will finally inspire torches and pitchforks. I spent too many of the Bush years thinking "This is the final outrage! They'll get him now!" but not a peep. What will it take? Worthless pensions, empty shelves, tanks in the streets? Widespread knowledge that satanism and pedophilia can really accelerate a political career? Would people even admit that they've been punked that badly? It will probably take a deep and personal crisis (starvation or losing a relative to the gulag) to force people to actually think, and then we better hope they keep thinking, or the puppetmasters will get their 80% sacrifice and world financial dictatorship. For the children, of course.
Forget about the pitchforks. Empires do not collapse because of pitchforks. Besides from outside force empires do only collapse when they cant pay anymore for their military and other suppressive instruments but most important is the pay for all kinds of government employees on all levels.
Dont forget, that the first and most important prerequisite for a functioning government (be it just or unjust) is to control valuable liquid resources (be it taxes on the general population or tributes from any part of the world. The tax (tribute) system the US had installed on the western world is now crumbling in front of our eyes. The high oil price the world was forced to pay since the so called "first oil shock" in the early 1970 was in reality simply spoken, a tax on the world population imposed by the US government at that time. Its so simple that it was hardly to see.
The mechanism was very simple but highly effective: The vasall goverments and rulers installed in the oil rich countries had to collect the tax via the high oil price. An agreed share was used to maintain the local governemt and its direct dependents happy while all the rest was "borrowed" to the US government. But this was only on paper because the governments of the vasall states had and have no power to ever collect this money. It was never a credit in reality but a "lost contribution". The same game was played with Japan and Germany and other vasall states which had a surplass. So despite the facts that the US had a negative trade balance for decades and the government was deeply indebted, the empire was financial very soundly footed, but this had to be masked to hide the giant global taxes imposed on the world.
And what do we see now: Russia, the biggest oil and gas producer is opposing the system, to say it stopped to "lend" money to the US government (or better said stopped paying tributes). The other oil countries most important Saudi Arabia do now (falling oil prices) need all the revenues to cover the local needs, therefore also from them the tax or tribute payments to the US stopped. Japan is still functioning a bit but the price is to wreck all the savings of its population. Germany the other high level tribute paymaster of the industrialized world has managed to slip out of the grip of the US tribute system by morphing into the paymaster for Europe (which is welcomed by its neighbours). Tax systems may look complicated on first sight but the principle is very simple and easy to understand: Gimme your money or else .......!!!!
The pitch forks will go to the streets once the government can not anymore pay the hands it needs to be in existence. But this can still take a long while as history has shown in many examples. But one thing is sure, once the floodgates are open then everything is washed away in a very short time, making room for something new, be it with humanity still in existence or not.
Starvation will do it. "Let them eat cake" works out fine until you are hungry.
That is an excellent, if far from complete, list of US lowlights in the new century. Truth is stranger than fiction, and I have a feeling that the Neocons are just getting warmed up.
There will be enough dirty deeds to fill several libraries before the dust (radioactive?) settles.
"There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution."
-- Aldous Huxley, Tavistock Group, California Medical School, 1961
Never, ever make predictions...especially about the future. You can't possibly know what you are talking about. You have never been there, the future, that is.
Hold on! Obama is gay?
Yep. And the Wookie is also a guy.
Which Kim's giant ass are we talking about?
Kardashian, or Jong Un?
At this point does it even really matter?
Hugs...

New World Chaos
10 out of 10 for comedy, I loved it.
Excellent list, New World Chaos! Please explain nukes at 911. You have thermite charges cutting through all the support beams and creating the molten metal. You have military planes remotely guided into their targets (no commercial jets lost on 911), so where do the nukes come in to play? I've heard that that one researcher espousing nukes in NYC on 911 is disinfo.
Which researcher are you talking about? Is it one of the Veterans Today guys?
IMHO, the Twin Towers were collapsed by neutron bombs in the basement. Iron spherules could have come from vaporization of the core. Persistent heat in the basement could have come from neutron activation. I don't know how much nanothermite one would need to get it all to stay hot for months while being sprayed with fire hoses. Probably too much. Fire hoses were enough to harden lava into a wall which protected an Icelandic village. Nano thermite also wouldn't have caused thyroid cancer or multiple myeloma in the first responders. These cancers are generally associated with radiation. Thyroid cancer only comes from a rare genetic condition or from iodine-131, which is only found in FRESH fission products (half life = 8 days).

Maybe veteranstoday isn't trustworthy, but what about a boring old academic paper from the CDC? It describes significant increases in thyroid cancer and multiple myeloma. The truth is hidden in plain sight, as per occult doctrine:
http://stacks.cdc.gov/view/cdc/22602/cdc_22602_DS1.pdf
Al Qaeda didn't have neutron bombs. Neither did Saudi Arabia. So it was either the neocons or the dancing Israelis, or both (there are many dual citizen infil-traitors): http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/fiveisraelis.html
NWC - Thanks for the links and information. I know there were bombs that went off in the basement before the planes hit, and that eye witnesses like Kenny Johanneman were suicided. As to what fried all the metal objects such as vehicles around the buildings I don't know. Maybe there was other technology at work in addition to the explosive demolition. There are 1000s of things that we can agree on regarding 9/11, and until we have a real investigation, we don't have the time or reason to split hairs on the 5% of 9/11 events that we disagree on. Best to you
The whole "nuclear charges" meme is meant to contaminate the case against the Anglo-Zionists. Its only one notch above claiming the WTC1, WTC2 and WTC7 were demolished using "alien technology".
"Nuclear charges" were not necessary to tear down the bulldings - thermite works just fine, thank you
Whoever came up with that story is part of the coverup. Anyone who repeats the "nuclear charges" meme is a moron IMHO.
Whole idea behind "misdirection" is to turn the conversation from what is important (e.g. that 9/11 was an inside job) to something that is not important (the finer details on how it was accomplished).
flapdoodle:
Until there is a real investigation, I won't put much energy into what could very well be purposeful misdirection. I can't even get my family to question 60 Minutes or the New York Times. The fact that these media institutions do an excellent job with 90% of what they cover, just makes them that much more dangerous on the topics that threaten TPTB: 9/11, the Federal Reserve, Zionism, Sandy Hook, etc. Thanks
you make what THEY allow you to do...
get stuff in order pls.
YOU CREATE YOUR OWN FUTURE !!!!
It must be nice being "God".
When circumstances overwhelm you, because of YOUR FAILURE TO BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING, I will be laughing and celebrating YOUR FAILURE because of YOUR HAUGHTY PRIDE AND ARROGANCE.
At times YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. Problems may present possible choices. Predicaments produce only outcomes and dismal at that.
And we...well...we are in a predicament.
Happy FINAL YEAR.
Here is my toast...to our mutually assured destruction. Bring on Armaggeddon.
That is the reality which I seek to realize. Let Judgment Day arrive. Let the Final Day of Reckoning begin.
Let the Proud and Haughty fall and be consumed by Hellfire.

and their credit cards denied at the gas station.
Long Towing Companies and impound yards.
what else would put in center of attention?
Russia must be stopped now rather than later...
china is then piece of cake after russia is done.
now if dollar and USA ets destroyed at same time Propaganda machine will
make sure to blame russians. like we dont see what is happening now.
and then all USA debt is darn gone!
If the United States can not live at his own expense, then that will change from the rejection of debt? US can refuse to pay their debts at any time.
The problem is that after the default, no one will give the US debt again. For the US, it means death.
but for russia it doesn't. russia might put what dollar debt is owed in an escrow account, with interest, saying that when the u.s. ceases its acts of war, the funds will be released. russia's debt is manageable, unlike some other countries.
Hyperinflation of the dollar will actually fix a lot of problems, limit USG over-reach and give the US anew (slightly more humble) fresh start....and it is inevitible and imminent.
A fresh start won't be allowed. The chaos has a purpose. It will be used to shape the world along the fascist bankers' intentions -- unless they are stopped.
..............and we'll build a barn and have a big dance after!
oh wait....
They may change their minds and go American.
Putin for U.S. President!
We already have one marxist in the White House, we don't need another.
neither are marxists; both are autocrats. one is good at it.
I will be respectful. Screw you!!
I vote for the separation of the US government and existence.
i vote for the separation of us govt officials and their heads.
self defense is not aggression
Preemptive "self defense" is aggression.
But since they have already drawn "first blood" then revenge is to be expected.
Government has always been about initiating aggression.
"Preemptive "self defense" is aggression."
that is true.
however, it's gone way beyond the point of preemptive.
government officials are in a constant state of aggression towards the people. whether it's police and civil forfeiture, irs claiming ownership of your wealth and your life's work, tsa officials claiming the right to grope you at the airport (or within 100 miles of any border or coastline for that matter), the nsa claiming the right to ignore the 4th amendment and look through your personal information, the atf claiming the ability to regulate your right to bear arms, etc.
the aggressors deserve what harm befalls them, i don't care if they happen to wear a shiny badge and wear a fancy uniform, they are still ordinary people and have no right to aggress against other people.
Wasn't Putin born in Hawaii?
We don't need no Stinking President. Time for A constitutional congress, strip Federal powers back to basics.
What might they be?
