How Police Are Revamping Their Tactics

Tyler Durden's picture

This satirical look at how the police in America 'might be' revamping their tactics brought to you by The Onion,

In the wake of widespread protests against police brutality and discrimination, law enforcement departments across the country are instituting new rules and policies to ensure safer practices.

Here are some of the ways departments are reforming their training, tactics, and management in light of scrutiny:

  • Improved training to ensure that combat-ready assault rifles are not misused in the course of community policing
  • Armored vehicles to be decorated with murals celebrating the communities in which they are deployed
  • Switching to new all-organic tear gas blend
  • New funding for outreach programs to encourage better relationships between officers and their fathers
  • Officers to de-escalate tense situations by drawing progressively smaller firearms
  • iPads somehow incorporated
  • Disgraced law enforcement officials to be given even smaller desks than normal
  • Cops encouraged to report the misdeeds of their fellow officers, thereby sabotaging their own careers
  • Ensure this can all legally be thrown out the window if a cop feels threatened

It is the ultimate evolution of predator and prey, within our own species, and we aint seen nothin yet.

Watch the first fifteen minutes of Tekken (2010). That's all you need to know about the future. Worth watching as a datapoint to have in your head (a must watch, in my opinion, for an accurate representation of the future). Look out for the currency denominations. There is a preferred global, and not-so-preferred local.

Excerpt from true, personal story from author Doug Valentine:

My father was a tough guy, a World War II combat veteran who’d seen things and done things, and who never backed down. Everybody respected him.

...

He said: “I want you to meet me tomorrow morning by the bank,” at such and such a time, much earlier than usual.

...

My father stepped into the street and I followed him. He stood behind the delivery truck. Wondering what the hell was going on, I watched while he threw open the doors. The guy who took down names and numbers was sitting in the front passenger seat beside the delivery truck driver; three village cops were sitting on boxes in the back of the truck. Cash and slips of paper were being exchanged.

“Take a good look", my father said. “This is the true relationship between crime and law enforcement.”

It happened fast, before I had time to think about it. The five men inside the truck were in a state of shock too; they sat looking at me and my father, their mouths hanging open, muttering curses. Then my father closed the doors and we walked away. The incident was never mentioned again. A few nights later one of the cops stopped me for running a light at 2:00 am; I was drunk as a skunk. “How’s your father?” he inquired. “Don’t you think you should be getting home?"

The people on TV get paid to tell us nothing but lies. The cops get paid to protect them from us. WE WOULD REMOVE THEM AND TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT THE FEDERAL RESERVE, WALL ST AND SILICON VALLEY. Back in 1776 our teachers did not preach subservience to the REDCOATS. Today they do, but we can't possibly shoot all of the cops. We don't stand a chance.
What we can do, however, is see that the modern day redcoats ARE our Public School Teachers. THEYRE TEACHING OUR CHILDREN TO GROW UP TO BE REDCOATS, AND PERPETUATE OUR OWN ENSLAVEMENT.

So we can't possibly shoot all of them?  That's self-enslavement, right there.  Tell it to the Iraqis, the Afganis, the North Vietnamese, etc etc etc.

First step is to grow a pair of balls.  This is an emminently winnable war, all it takes is the resolve.  Look at how the establishment reacted to those two dead cops in NY.  Does that not tell you something?

Of course we could shoot all of them...no country in the history of mankind has ever been as heavily armed as we are. Why do you think they bought 2 billion rounds of ammo for Homeland Security last year? They know what's coming, and are telling us what they intend to do. But only someone insane wants to go there before they are forced to.

@ Ignacious @ WOAR ,

As long as we're telling NYC 1970's war stories I'll tell one now that my uncle is dead and untouchable.

For over 20 years the local armored car companies were either mob controlled or NYPD staffed ,, if you used the mob controlled company you had an unexplained unsolvable theft every now and then... If you used the company that hired NYPD off-duty as their delivery men then you had a small but daily bleed in your cash ... here's how ... the cops would take up knitting because it's oh so boring in the back of an armored car... except they would insert the knitting needles into sealed bags of benjamins and twirl up some like spaghetti ..pull them out... went on FOREVER .. $$$ went into the coffee and donut fund ,, but not all of it ,, the union got their cut and I can assure you that some flowed upwards.

With all the "excitement" planned in Europe for 2015, maybe "The Management" in the Whitehouse / Pentagon / AIPAC prefer that the situation back home doesn't "get out of control", esp. in view of the dissatisfaction shown in such places as NY (ongoing), Fergadishu, De'Troit, etc . . . .

It would be difficult (for them) to be balancing the needs of their overseas adventures, with a need to maintain the "Iron Fist" should the plebs start getting both uppity AND organised. Heaven forbid that the hoi polloi should start to think like those contributors to all those strange "fringe" blogs . . . .

Interesting taste, mate.

Have you watched the original version of The Prisoner TV show from 1967? He had the whole faceless-men-world-order laid out. The currency was called a labour-unit.

I haven't seen the old original one - feel like I'm missing another important datapoint. The 2009 version, I have seen, and thought that it did justice to the idea of The Prisoner, a song I've been listening to since childhood. Look forward to seeing the original. I think I'll catch with my dad.

"We want information...".

Iron Maiden - The Prisoner

In exploration of time-based and labor-based units... it's quite easy to arrange a hierarchy of entry-level to top-level unit allotments standard across all industries and uses. All we have to do is base it on the easiest fucking job someone is going to get, and scale it up from there. One labor or time unit is one hour of his time. In my opinon, it should be the guy at the front of the line at Fry's Electronics who tells you which register to go to, even though there are green lights above open cashiers to signal their openness. Then, every job that involves more moving of some body part or another to accomplish something more valuable than he, will have a labor/time unit value that is appropriately scaled higher. Or something to that effect...

there is a major difference between the two versions.

In the original, number 6 defeats the new world order, in the 2009 version number 6 sells out.

This major difference is noticeable in the show's taglines:

1967 version: "I'm not a number, I'm a free man!"

2009 version: "You only think you're free"

There is a disturbing subtext to the end of the original, which is consistent with certain themes of the show.  "Defeats" is only true on one level, but it's certainly a dramatic ending -- brilliant work.

I've watched the 2009 remake, thought it was OK in a so-so vein, but am unlikely to watch it again. I tried a second watching, but it was still lame in comparison.

The original series I was fortunate enough to see on release (despite the objections of both parent Mes) and have had several and many oportunities to revisit since.

A great allegory. Dated a bit, but priceless as a landmark. Even better to have had Danger Man as the recast lead. Even a few episodes gave glimpses of the 'deeper state' - but only tangentially. This was nearly half a century ago, after all.

You want sense?

Arguably it's a sequel, as the "Prisoner's" name WAS (contrary to popular belief) softly uttered in one episode:  Drake -- the same name as Danger Man.

A questionable take to this day.

The VERY LAST scene is Angelo Muscat standing at the door of 6's home as he drives away in KAR120C. The door then closes automatically just like it did at 2's residence.

IT can very well be that 6 only thinks he's free, but TPTB are still very much in control.

Let's face it, McGoohan said you can read into Fallout almost anything you want (but I am not saying that this is a bad thing). The Prisoner is IMHO one of the greatest masterpieces of television.

The lesson of History is that Might Makes Right until that Might plants the seeds of its own destruction. This is followed by a brief period of human liberty in small communities until the cycle starts again and a horde of "government" decends to take the wealth of the producers.

I could expand on your comment, but we've had enough spoilers.  Scott Apel made a parallel series of really excellent comments for each episode for a PBS network; hard to find now but recommended (as a sort of video companion).  His is one of several attempts to recommend a more logical re-ordering of the show's episodes, as the BBC (and DVD/Blu-ray) showed them out-of-sequence in some cases.  If you buy the series I highly recommend watching in Scott's sequence -- the show is already tough enough to understand; clearly backwards plot points do not help.

I saw your post about "The Prisoner" and had to chime in.  The original is awesome, loved watching it as a kid.  Somehow I knew it was important.  How prophetic.  The absolute insanity of the show is actually pretty true to life: the surveillance monitors on a teeter-totter, blobby rover drones, the hidden state turning on those of their former employ, the automation and the throwing of any logic out the window by those in charge.  It doesn't make sense because those in charge are completely and utterly raving mad.

ZH readers, go watch it on the Internet.  It was a BBC show, so it should be freely available somewhere.

Time to re-educate our fellow men about the lawfully elected Sheriff having supreme authority in the County as opposed to the BIRMINGHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT which is simply a subsidiary of the municipal corporate entity known as THE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM.

Maybe it's time to re-visit the concept of allodium.  It was this birthright which compelled our forefathers two centuries ago to lay down their very lives in order to provide such freedom to their progeny.

Much to be said, but this is my first post and so I will throw out a teaser for those who have studied this.  For those who have never heard of allodium, you now have.  Understand it, and you will quickly understand why you are the mortal enemy of the banksters.

1. (Historical Terms) history lands held in absolute ownership, free from such obligations as rent or services due to an overlord. allodiumdid not last long and it appears that it quickly became 1%rs.

Who got the choicest land, I am sure it was fair and such.

Usufruct

What existed before allodium.

Usufruct comes from civil law, under which it is a subordinate real right (ius in re aliena) of limited duration, usually for a person's lifetime. The holder of a usufruct, known as a usufructuary, has the right to use (usus) the property and enjoy its fruits (fructus). In modern terms, fructus more or less corresponds to the profit one may make, as when selling the "fruits" (in both literal and figurative senses) of the land or leasing a house.

Fruits refers to any renewable commodity on the property, including (among others) actual fruits, livestock and even rental payments derived from the property. These may be divided into civil (fructus civiles), industrial (fructus industriales), and natural fruits (fructus naturales), the latter of which, in Roman law, included slaves and livestock.

Kinda like the Native Americans who really OWN every sq. inch of the US.

Even though I personally like the idea of an allodial title to land, there's a tricky issue of someone having to first acquire land from somewhere or someone. Land is not a man-made product, but a natural resource subject to acquisition and exploitation. To practice such title here, early settlers had to kill Native Americans. To preserve titles in Europe people occasionally had to battle and murder eachother also.

Land, for the longest time was the means of production, right up to the demise of aristocracy as a class. Then came the capitalist and made ownership of the land almost irrelevant. Governments then got onto the bandwaggon. Now it appears as if no one owns land - no individual. What's owned is the capital. Money is owned and along with it, everything money can buy.

Along with money, government and the bank get to own your success. If you're a failure - well, then the failure is your god given property - all 100% of it.

So you are refusing to pay rent and now they are going to evict you? That does not read like you have allodile title to anything.

Of course you can landmine it and let them have some fun trying...uh...not...really...just...uh...just making a snark suggestion...

But they are not that hard to fabricate. Glass, Plunger, Pressure Plate, Explosive Charge and non metallic shrapnel...

Seems to me that, just as the moochers learn they can vote themselves the wealth of the productive class in a democracy, we could vote ourselves an end to property taxes.  In CA a successful citizens initiative, Proposition 13, restricted property tax increases such that high levels of inflation or real estate bubbles make it eventually nominal, but for the owner, not the property itself.  This was in 1978.   The ruling class has been railing against it ever since, helplessly.

If Proposition 13 passed, it can be improved.  The fuckers use democracy against the people, but the people can use it against the ruling class.  Time for an upgraded Prop 13?  Get rid of property taxes completely?

Actually, you are not subject to property tax.  If you check out the online registry for your county's property records you will see that all property records are listed in ALL CAPS (e.g. you are Bob Smith, but your property is registered in BOB SMITH's name).  The reason for this is because around the time of the introduction of social security the US Gubmint began creating idem sonans (which means "sounds the same") corporations for every man / woman born in one of the union States.  They simply created a legal fiction / corporation identical to your birth name (ergo the need for birth certificates) which was a US corpoartion (domiciled in the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.).  Your US PERSON is subject to pay property tax since it is a foreign corporation in your state.

You have never paid property tax since there is no money (gold / silver) in circulation any longer.  You simply adjusted the books between your US PERSON and the agent of the private federal reserve bank (aka IRS) via entries in bank ledgers.

You are still free.  You never left Kanas.  Your birthright is eternal and still in force.  You simply have to elect to unplug from your US PERSON and conduct your commerce using lawful money.  Admitedly, MUCH easier said than done... but the price of freedom has alway been and will forever be high.

Welcome, Allodial Title.  I see you have studied ninjitsu, and since this is your first time at Fight club, well... you know the rules.  This isn't a real fight, just sparring, as I can see we're on the same team.  Anyway, here's a repost of a previous rant.

UCC ninjas are a funny bunch. They don't seem to realize that the law is whatever TPTB want it to be in each particular case. Tyrants only obey the law of the strong. The little people need to get strong or get off the grid. Preferrably both.

The law has been a psyops for at least 100 years. The serfs wouldn't work so hard if they knew that everything they have can be taken on a whim. Fewer serfs would become cops if they knew they would become soulless henchmen enforcing the whims of the aristocracy against their fellow serfs. The law is a psyops against "good" cops, and cops who are insecure enough that they need to be repeatedly told they are heroes. And so the Law, supposedly designed to protect against theft and violence, became the primary instrument of theft and violence, and most people are too stupid or greedy to admit this- especially cops.

This is accomplished by bribery and whipping up moral panics, leading to a million regulations, many of them contradictory, with severe punishments for disobedience. Everyone is a crimminal (see the book Three Felonies Per Day). Therefore, They can selectively enforce the law against anyone they don't like. Legal matters are decided the way They always wanted them to be: Secret handshakes, bags of cash, bargaining on the golf course using other peoples' lives as chits.

Most people who think they can use the VIP backdoor to the law with some magic-word UCC opt out are in for a rude surprise. Maybe they let it happen a few times so that those who desperately want to believe in working within the system can maintain a delusional ray of hope while wasting years poring through dead end mumbo jumbo. Most of the time They will just ignore the law, or throw the book at you, using one of their hundreds of other spiderwebs to ensare you.

Even if an unobstructed path to freedom still technically exists within the vast maze of the law, little people will never get to use it because judges are not computers running on strictly procedural logic. They are humans. They can be bribed, hold you in contempt for bullshit, deny valid appeals, and stall while you rot in jail. They can even willfully apply the wrong section of the bankruptcy code to help Corzine steal billions. They know they will never be punished for any of this. Those who don't give a shit about little peoples' lives get promoted. Conversely, judges get kicked off the gravy train if they ignore the book and the prosecutor and dispense justice instead. So the judges serve Mammon.  They help with the systemic goal of hollowing people out, financially and spiritually.

There are also laws and then there are the secret "second set of books". Here are the levels of law, in generally declining order of opaque Kafkaness and potential for injustice. I considered bookending the list with satanic law and Divine law, but that's a whole nuther can of worms.

  • Protocols. Schemes dreamed up by Rothschilds and their flunkies in central banks, NY, DC, the EU and the UN. They start wars. They divide us against each other. Everyone is subtly enslaved without knowing. Think Agenda 21, 9/11, inflation, fraudclosure, etc. Many effects trickle down to local laws. Throw in some talmudic law for good measure.
  • Martial law. They can spy on you. They can torture you. They can disappear you. They can suicide you. They just say "This is Constitutional, 9/11 9/11 9/11, Amen" and it's all good. What are you going to do about it, bitch? We're lucky they haven't widely applied this to US citizens... yet.
  • Policies. Policies are laws about when to selectively enforce other laws. Made in secret by cops and bureaucrats. Feds often provide the manuals and the funds (or threat of pulling funds). Policies are the laws that matter most to you, which is why you will only find out about policies the hard way. Tom Ball wrote an excellent manifesto on this before burning himself to death outside a New Hampshire courthouse. http://www.zerohedge.com/article/guest-post-new-hampshire-man-burns-self...
  • Regulatory law. Kind of the economic version of martial law. It's about robbery and protecting favored cartels. You often find out about it only after you have some success with your business or project. Back in the good 'ole days, The Sludge Monster from the Bowels of City Hall was the biggest legal threat to the prosperous, but at least it was local. Now it has metastasized and gone global. Locals often aren't even in control anymore.
  • Case law. Made by judges with an agenda against freedom. Case law isn't technically secret, but you will probably pay a lot to find out what it is and whether you can get it applied in your case.
  • The legislative sausage mill. The best laws money can buy. Their complexity means they remain secret to most legislators until after they have passed. Remember "We have to pass this bill to find out what's in it"?
  • The Constitution. Still on the books but widely ignored in practice. Briefly mentioned to some naive schoolchildren in hopes they might build their adult lives around some crazy idea that a law which protects the people is the supreme law of the land. Other than its usefulness in maintaining illusions of freedom, the Constitution is just a goddamn piece of paper, as Bush would say.
  • Common Law. So good They had to erase it. Irrelevant except in the fever dreams of a few cranks.
  • Natural Law. It is absolutely taboo to even speak about Natural Law, because it quickly exposes the entire legal system as illegitimate.

OK, perhaps there is one reason why the puppetmasters might let the little people opt out of UCC. They have occult reasons for wanting people's consent before fucking them. Are they afraid of a higher judge? Do they think He is so easily swayed by insane legal theories? Their claims of consent are ridiculous. Apparently writing our name in block letters, missing occult symbolism in public, and caving into threats over seemingly innocuous things are enough to chain us to our masters and let them drag us down into damnation with them.

Questions for the UCC ninjas: Do you think cops will ever be held accountable for murdering people for illegal camping, selling loosies, etc? What do you think would happen if you tried to do a citizens' arrest of a corrupt cop or bureaucrat? When a prisoner's appeals are denied and he is broke and in solitary confinement and the media ignores his case because it is a just cause, does his crying make a sound? When one of satan's minions gets his head blown off in self defense, does it make a sound?

@ NWC... much appeciated insight and I have to agree with pretty much everything that you stated.  Might makes right and TPTB have all the tools available to easily squash the newly enlighted UCC zealot.  However, one thing that you also mentioned resonated as well:

They have occult reasons for wanting people's consent before fucking them.

Which also ties back to my previous post about your corporate US PERSON.  Why do we have to sign our own driver's license?  Why do they NEED our consent to bind us to state traffic laws?  Also, why does what appears as a signature line on your personal bank checks read "AUTHORIZED AGENT" in micro print (which is why you see the "MP" at the end of the signature line) many times in succession to form the appearance of a line?  BTW, magnify your personal checks to confirm this - I recently opened a checking account and had to check a box that verbatim said that I am a US Person (actually, the corporation is, not me the man).

For now, they still need our consent.  My fear is that we may be fast approaching a day when they do not.

Yes, I have seen the microprint.  All this stuff is pretty much the illusion of consent, because anyone who doesn't consent will soon see that TPTB only respect the law of the jungle.

And so I wonder, is this consent thing about TPTB justifying themselves before a higher power, or is it about entangling us with a lower power?  They do seem to do both, and Ann Barnhardt (http://www.barnhardt.biz) thinks it's mainly the latter.  Like when they itemize a tiny amount from every health insurance bill to go towards abortion, or when cable companies make sure everyone ends up paying for filth even if they don't watch it.  She has a post about this stuff every couple weeks.

You might be keen to hear that assorted conspiracy sites talk about angels having a "prime directive" of sorts, wherein they won't intervene as long as there is collective consent for the puppetmasters' evil plans.  Apparently the angels are real sticklers about this.  Hence all these dicky little ways to supposedly gain consent.  It might also be one reason why the puppetmasters try so hard to manufacture consent, even to the point of getting everyone to see evil as good and good as evil.  If true, this would make it very important to undermine other peoples' consent wherever possible.

I really like your view, but you kinda lost me there when you started going on about angels.

The puppetmasters don't care about angels, they feel like gods anyways. There are different reasons they want your consent, first and foremost it's just a psychological trick. By giving written consent, you're consciously accepting restraints and restrictions.

They strengthen the whole bureaucracy by making you think a signature equals power. Just sign away your rights here, and they are really gone. That's the second part, the way the legal system currently works they can effectively protect themselves from any legal repercussions by making you sign enough shit.

The law should be there to protect the ignorant masses from exactly this, but it's constantly circumvented and bent beyond recognition.

This kind of shit won't stop until either a bean counter or a cop decides it's not worth fighting the little guy.  Let's consider the bean counter angle.  Maybe there is some way to make your property have NEGATIVE value.  A literal poison pill, like black mould, but worse.  Maybe sell it to a Hell's Angels meth cook for a dollar.  Or suppose on the way out you scavenged an old transformer and dumped the oil all over your lawn, then notified the EPA.  They would try to force the owner (hopefully the local govt) to clean it up.  You could get one tentacle fighting the other, tie the bureaucracy up in knots.  Make sure to inform the local title agencies and local paper so they don't fob it off to some sucker.  Variations:  You don't actually do it, you just say you did, and then if they let you keep your property then you can live there safely.  Or, you can bury a drum with a plug that should last a couple months in the soil (a Chicken McNugget?) and as long as you still live there, replace the plug every couple months.  If they SWAT you, the new owner will have a festering problem.  This tactic might also work for Walmart land grabs.

I am not a lawyer so don't take this too seriously.  Do your homework.  Be creative.  Make sure your plan is somewhat jail-proof or, more likely, involves a bugout location they can't tie to you.  Don't try these things in a suburb unless you really hate your neighbors.  You might just have to eat the loss and then make it up by finding a creative way to go on the dole.  Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

The Eighth Rule of Fight Club is that if this is your first time to Fight Club then you have to Fight.

So you think that freedom should be free? If you are a property owner and the Government defends YOUR PROPERTY, then just why in the hell shouldn't you pay for that protection?

What are you, some commie pinko fag, freeloading, liberal who is going to use big words in order to make us all think that your nerdiness is somehow smart?

Other than that...welcome to Fight Club jerk.

Actually it is better used in the form "Allodial". The very property one thinks of when talking about "Real" property is land, house, or possession in some form. But the very term allodial starts with the ownership of ones self (You own You). Then extends like a branch from there. The issue isn't ownership. The issue is the power of authority with regard to the post.

We the people, never enumerated (Granted) this power to the current police state. We have acquiesced to the authority based on assumptive powers. The majority assume the police and any other enforcement agency is granted the power to act as they choose. The real power lies in the people. But the people think they are powerless. When in fact we are the creators of this demon of control. Under the guise of safety, we comply with the very things that go against nature (Natural Law, The Constitution). The only way to defeat this force against freedom is with equal or greater force that most of us aren't willing to commit.

Since this is the case "Thinkers", it may be a wise idea to learn how to start kneeling, since your neighbor is not going to stand with you. We haven't been defeated yet, but we sure as hell are behind by mucho points. With that being said. If you haven't been tasered at least three times (Like myself), your opinion means as much as the pieces of corn in a pile of $HIT.

The police never were an organization depicted by

the "officer friendly" mythology. They were set up to perform the functions of

slave patrols and Pinkerton union busters.

Historical origin and purpose of police

"Before the nineteenth century, there were no police forces that we would recognize as such anywhere in the world. In the Northern United States, there was a system of elected constables and sheriffs, much more responsible to the population in a very direct way than the police are today. In the South, the closest thing to a police force was the slave patrols."

The level of discourse here has become obnoxious. Obviously the gates are open and the barbarians have entered and are swiftly taking over the town. The biggest problem with barbarians is that they have no idea how disgusting they are. They rub their armpits and crotch and think "yum". There is really no point in engaging with them. With regrets I am severing my relationship here. Not that there is much to regret missing. Not only the comments but the content has become tedious and ugly. Goodbye. Thank god for the delete button. I will probably spend less time here (already do actually) in the coming years as selection season is fast approaching.

Don't hold ill  will to new additions, freeing oneself is a process. I remember knowing it all. I wanted everyone else to know I knew it all as well. Points in the process.

Well, the Andy Griffith characters on the left used to secretly beat the stuffing out of Negroes in the woods behind the police station. That's how they kept them in line and kept the upper hand. So they didn't need riot gear and miltary weapons.

The guys on the right can't do that stuff in private, so they need full body armor and a military gear to respond to what happens.

taking an informal survey of cops and their defenders here shows a clear disconnect from any sense or logic.

when has anyone faced real danger that was saved by a cop at the time. there are many more people who were saved by other civilians.

cops aare a huge waste of tax dollars. all departments could be cut in half and their pay and pension dramatically reduced and there will be a much lower crime rate just deducting the number of made up disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer charges the police created by their own actions and their lies.

However.

"there are many more people who were saved by other civilians..."

You are not a civilian. Stop using that fucking word, please.

You are a Citizen.

Note the definitions of each word and the contexts they are used under.

- Presumably there are justices that want justice and face voters to keep their jobs

18 U.S. Code Chapter 115 - TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES

§?2381. Treason
§?2382. Misprision of treason
§?2383. Rebellion or insurrection
§?2384. Seditious conspiracy
§?2385. Advocating overthrow of Government
§?2386. Registration of certain organizations

----

The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act is a federal Act that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for organized crime. Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act, commonly known as RICO Act, or RICO was passed in 1970. RICO is codified in Chapter 96, Title 18, United States Code, §1961-1968.

18 U.S. Code § 1961 - Definitions
18 U.S. Code Chapter 95 - RACKETEERING
18 U.S. Code Chapter 96 - RACKETEER INFLUENCED AND CORRUPT ORGANIZATIONS

RICO Claim:
- Enterprise
- Pattern (Must be Organization, Two Parties, Profit
or Payoff)
- Racketeering Activity
- behavior and actions committed against witnesses and victims in alleged retaliation or retribution for cooperating with federal law enforcement or intelligence agencies.
- Anti-SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) laws can be applied in an attempt to curb alleged abuses of the legal system by individuals or corporations who utilize the courts as a weapon to retaliate against whistle blowers, victims, or to silence another's speech.
- RICO law covers a variety of organized criminal behaviors

The statute prohibits four separate kinds of activities:

1) investing income derived from a pattern of racketeering activity in a business engaged in interstate commerce (18 U.S.C. § 1962 (a));
2) acquiring control of a business engaged in interstate commerce through a pattern of racketeering activity (§ 1962 (b));
3) participating in the conduct of a business engaged in interstate commerce through a pattern of racketeering activity (§ 1962(c)); and
4) conspiring to violate any of the above (§ 1962(d)).

- When the U.S. Attorney decides to indict someone under RICO, ... This provision was placed in the law because the owners of Mafia-related shell corporations often absconded with the assets. An injunction and/or performance bond ensures that there is something to seize in the event of a guilty verdict.

Over the course of my lifetime, I have had several relatives in law enforcement, and also gotten to know a great deal of police officers. To a man, each and every one of them is/was trying to support his family and not get killed in the process.

In general, when dealing with a peace officer, there are two distinct scenarios:

-One greets a peace officer with respect and listens to what he is asked to do.

-One does not listen, acts aggressive, is disrespectful, and appears a threat.

It's very easy to paint a picture and say all cops are crooked/corrupt/power hungry/murdereous thugs.

Guess what?

Someone has to do the babysitting.  I'm willing to bet each and every one who dares criticize law enforcement is way too big a pussy to help solve society's problems.

There's a shitload of people out there.  Many aren't playing with a full deck.  Many are a real threat.

Contrary to what community activists/opportunistic poltical whores imply, vast majority of law enforcement has never utilized their weapon. They use common sense and good judgement, go home and thank God they made it through another day of craziness.

Here is a true story just happened this month here in my neck of the woods;

local police chief conducts DOT checks on 18 wheelers has been for years ... well the chief whom I have known for years was recently fired over DOT checks..appears that the chief has been falsely charging truckers with violations and ticketing them absurdly ($1800.00 was the total on the one that did him in)  anyway said trucker drove off with fines in hand straight to the state police barracks and asked for them to inspect his rig as they have DOT insp lic also. Truck got inspected and passed as per DOT regs (forgot to mention truck was new as in been on the road only a month) the driver asked then why was he handed fines for $1800.00 state police along with DOT went straight to the local cop shop revoked DOT insp lic filed charges and that afternoon the chief was no more.

moral of the story?  Fuckin cops are criminals and just because they don't pull a gun makes no difference.  worse yet this is a guy I believed to be on the up and up,

Jack Burton had a good post the other day that was prett critical of cops and I'm sure aspects of it were also true.

I just think Jack's post was more accurate.

My wife's ex was a cop. When it came time to have child custody rules wriiten, the guy was a total power mad jerk who made sure I saw the badge on his chest and the gun on his hip. Made all of us miserable and did things that were just dirty - because he could.

I know there are good police officers out there, I just think the bad ones should be made to pay dearly when they turn to shit. Public whippings come to mind.

- Multiple levels of government
- Multiple Federal Agencies Regulate your Business
- Finance, Taxes, Environmental, Waste, Financial Partners or Donators, Political Interest Groups, Community Accusations ... all bring you under additional scrutiny & Direct Regulation

Question: What would a USA Look LIKE if we Simplified and Standardized... Regulations ... in order to protect from Civil Court Lawsuits from Citizens, from Government Lawsuits, and from being Blindsided by another government agency invoking it's rights on your self OR your business?????!!!!!

- Standardize
- Simplify
- Streamline
- Benchmark Court Rulings for Individual Rights, Business Practices, Recognize Small Businesses don't have the resources of Wealthy Opposition... and ARE THE CORE of US Economy.

The problem is that when police do use excessive force, or are guilty of conspiracy and racketeering, all too often they go totally unpunished in any meaningful sense.

Recent SC decision about "reasonable mistakes" as to searches and warrants will tend to increase fishing expeditions and disregard for what were previously deemed basic rights.  You already have essentially no rights in a car near the border, and few away from the border.

Police that are above the law combined with a federal government continually loosening the chains imposed upon it by the Constitution [or simply ignoring the plain language of the bill of rights], further combined with the fact Congress is little more than a bought and paid for tool for Israel and the MIC and the banks....   it all leads to death and violence - needlessly.

Well, you have to admit that round these parts, painting with a broad brush ain't good enough for some, so they use a pressure washer. Extreme hyperbole suits the fragile emotional states that some of the more egregious failures of policing create in certain people.

I took a minute or two some time back to congratulate a local cop for a job well done in tracking down a murderer after over two years when even the State Police and FBI came up with nothing.

A meth addict shot and killed his girlfriend and after fleeing, came up on two young girls, aged 11 and 13 on a country road. In a meth fueled paranoia he executed these kids because he thought they 'knew' he killed his girlfriend and left their bodies lying by the road where they died. He abandoned his vehicle near the Interstate and disappeared without a trace.

He was the officer called to the young girls murder scene and helped place their bodies in the ambulance for the trip to the morgue.

Eventually, after nothing from the 'official' investigation, he went to work on his own time after being reprimanded for wasting his on-duty hours working the cold case.

He finally tracked him to Florida from a dealer he squeezed. The guy is doing life without parole.

No big news story, no parade or big medal presentations, no promotions like you see on TV but just a mention in the local newspaper for a job well done.

Just a small town cop who writes traffic tickets and barking dog complaints.

Who also happens to have two young daughters about the same age as those young girls.

Far more likely to shoot some jackboots than wear them.
