Ok Tyler, but if I shorted the dollar the SPX in 2009 like you said where would I be?

Cute, fundamentals and technicals in a centrally planned eCONomy.

That's how Lance makes his living. When you're a cog in the machinery and work in conjunction with the two-party farce paradigm that is America you make the most money being on either Team Red or Team Blue. As I've said before his website logo give him away

Wealth isn't all its cracked up to be. It's a big distraction from the true path between these two pillars. But just slightly to his credit he actually appears to be a bit of an outlier and doesn't just strictly tow his party line. He actually does include bits of truth and reality along the way in his messaging

It's up to those that follow him to discern the truth from the scripted party line lies. Just like the followers of the great deceiver

Only in a 'Free Market'. This stock market is leading by decades to say the least. Fools.

Fuck this. Almost back to "full" employment levels? GDP based on what? Are you fucking kidding me?

This guy is an idiot. Take away his Etch-a-Sketch.

"The tell" is the US illegally exporting oil. If life is so good why are we breaking that law?

"But are the "ingredients" that spurred the previous two secular bull market periods in existence today?"

No...valuations, sentiment, fundamentals, smashed commodity sector, energy credit, debt levels and everything else all say no.

So what do you do? BTFD of course. Ha....what bullshit.

Eventually even morons of this order must understand this simple issue:

"Trading stocks" is not making anything of value or adding any production that should be rewarded in any way in this manipulated mess.  Simply exchanging "tickets" of "implied value" has nothing to do about having a real value, and it is only tradable to other morons that believe the very same thing.  Somewhere, sometime you actually have to make something of value, makes or produces something, or provides capital to do those two things.  Today's market is just moving pieces of paper for no reason or capital formation.  It will soon end.

The decline in annual GDP growth speaks volumes.

As do the reasons for the change, then and now. I saw this quite a while back.

BUT...do NOT forget the new and added dimension of a globalized and increasingly sophisticated planet. That factor, ex-painful reset, will be very difficult to forecast.

To the degree that "secular" bull markets exist, don't count on seeing one for a very, very long time.

2008 has fundamentally altered many things still in heated flux.

We are different now.
