Reality is for the weak but not to worry on Wall St reality never enters the picture.....
Incredible how all this verbal diarrhea from Fed-heads moves stock markets instantly, yet the same implicit free money does nothing for commodities, and the dollar actually goes up too. Selective algo reactions ... or pretty much whatever the plutocracy wants, it gets.
The markets go up, b/c the FED keeps promising to print... not raise rates. Investors just got another promise of no returns on debts, and should therefore BTFD, and BTFATH.
PM's have been destroyed by the paper market. PM's have been effectively turned into FIAT, at least until the collapse, at which time the REAL PM's will be the new money.
The US Dollar is up, b/c it's the cleanest shirt in the laundry. Everywhere else is imploding, so they're jumping into dollars. The question becomes, "how long can the dollar continue to rise".
Commodities, bonds, currencies, nearly everything is closer to reality than equities...makes sense when you think about it.
Rest assured that reality will sooner or later make a comeback riding on the wings of chaos.
In this day of instant gratification and instant extrapolation, many of us are frustrated that the big day of reckoning has not yet occurred.
Noah had the same problem. He was ridiculed for building an ark but when the flood arrived he had the last laugh. And that is what we live for here at ZH....the last laugh.
So while others are still having an orgy just continue to build an ark of like minded people, precious metals, self sufficiency and a faith that one day values and a freer market will once again be the standards by which humanity abides by.

Yep this looks like a classic "head and shoulders" formation on the stock market. Just like the one in October 2007 that preceded the crash of 2008 by a year. I doubt this one takes as long to complete.
i dunno. the FED changed everything back in 2008. i don't think the market can ever really go down, again. they're in full print/monetization mode. see how every time the market dips, they run out some FED president to talk it back up again. zimbabwe's market went full bulltard, as has venzuela's, and OUR's.

I'm basically in the Hugh Hendry camp now, market going up actually means a collapse but it will melt up.
Moar QE which will means less money in real economy, more bankruptcies, more DEFLATION actually, which leads to even moar QE.
Market melts up in iterations and then one day it doesn't work and then their is an indefinite bank holiday until a 30-50% deval or debt jubilee announced.
It is a perfect way to suffocate the world economy and transition to a 100% non market based price control, and ultimately explode into hyperinflation and war.
Look at the bright side--when it all plays out the government will own everything. :-P
