Martin Armstrong Asks "Are We Headed Into Fascism?"

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Martin Armstrong via Armstrong Economics blog,

Banks in the USA now are required to report any wire of $3,000 or more and any cash withdraw as well. If you want to withdraw $5,000 in cash, you have to now fill out a form.

Your money is no longer yours.

Big Brother and his entire Family is now here to stay. Little by little, government needs money so desperately to keep funding their pensions at the expense of the people that they have now put in place a stranglehold on the global economy.

This is setting the stage for the worst economic decline since the birth of Capitalism during the 14th century. It does not get any worse than this.

They are destroying everything that has been built in a fraction of the time it took to create it. This is what happens when lawyers control the state. They know how to write laws, but not run a country.

Our crisis is simply Adam Smith’s Invisible Hand. Government also acts only in its self-interest and therein lies the problem. They are INCAPABLE of even contemplating that what they are doing is killing the world economy.

Pure BRAIN-DEAD management.

The last guy didn't last a week, Martin. You will find life in Camp 7

difficult for the first few months, but if you stick to your new duties

as chief cook and bottle washer we are confident that Commander Knukles will let you out on day passes after the fifth year of indentured servitude to Camp 7.

p.s. the pail and the mop are in your foot locker, Martin. And new guys are not permitted to write for the first two years of your term at Camp 7. You will find a list of required duties on your bunk.

Good luck, Martin.

I was unaware of that, tpfd. I'm not heartless, but Armstrong is saying the obvious, and we all know that Corporatists are fascists. Armstrong is writing shit that we all learned ten years ago without ever reading his outdated rhetoric. I only started reading Armstrong when I subscribed to Z/H less than one year ago. Sorry for the faux pas, but Armstrong is a toad IMO.

She probably hasn't encountered anyone making a withdrawal that triggers the computer.

Happens to me once in a while, a form pops up on the teller's computer screen and they ask name, address, contact number, occupation (drug dealer, gun runner, Superman...I've used a few) and source (my occupation).

Supposedly the form is forwarded to the Gestapo, but to this day I haven't been contacted.

Same thing making deposits.

Now, I'm common enough to the bank that they've made me exempt.

That, and the fact that my real occupation is Corporate Controller for one of their largest clients.  Once banks know who you are they start giving you 'perks'.

The Nazis were also big on capital control.  To cement their hold on the populace, the Nazis staged the Reichstag fire.  Dominate people by terror.  The murderous attack in Paris yesterday was a staged event but the purpose was not just to terrorize the common folk.

The attack on the Charlie Hebdo office Wednesday during a staff editorial meeting drove away all news reports linking Prince Andrew to pedophile activities.  The three attackers were quickly identified, one of them conveniently left his identity card in an abandoned stolen card.  More likely, intentionally left his identity card.  Just like the passport of 9/11 ringleader Mohammed Atta survived his jet crashing into One World Trade Center.  We will probably never know who ordered the Kouachi brothers to carry out their attack.  Dead men tell no tales.  But this attack gives Prince Andrew and the pedophile murderers in Parliament a breather from the drumbeat of scandal stories in the press, which started when the Exaro website started investigating pedophiles in Parliament 18 months ago.  An investigation that the Metropitan Police started almost 30 years ago and then covered up, on orders from Buckingham Palace.  I wonder if the Kouachi family has any connection to the Royal Dutch Shell oil company.

Capital controls were also an important part of Chinese economic policies since the communist revolution in 1949.  However, capital control liberalization has occured in baby steps after reform and opening policies were initiated in the late 1970’s and China’s march back towards a market economy began.

You are under the impression they give a shit whether you are actually guilty of something. They are tasking algos to sift through this data in an attempt to pluck we villains from the midst. Given the blind stupidity, arrogance of power and general ill intent, I don't think they really give a shit if you are good or bad, they only need their evidence as determined by their goal seeking computers. Growth in government employment is NOT enhanced by efficiency or accuracy, and believe you me, this is a growth industry. Look what they have done with seizures. Massive increases and yes people are fighting back, but even that effort feeds their purpose...more law enforcement, more judges and lawyers, more GDP. I used to think the answer was to flood them with bullshit so they couldn't see the forest for the trees, but I'm thinking not now. If we are to resist, we need to find better ways than simply putting a target on our heads.

Yes computers can sort the data, but someone has to know enough to write a program to mine the data.  I personally know people that helped with the computer systems at the IRS can we just say 1970s level.  NSA might have it and be able to sort it but they do not share.  This data is used for Blackmail of worlds leaders/perverts.  Even with the best software there isn't enough LEOs or prosecutors to followup on every potential abuse.  This is a known concept in the intellegence communities.  Too much data no accurate interpretation no actionable information, might as well make it up at that point.

We went into fascism when Kennedy's brains were blown into a thousand pieces by the CIA that he had promised to shatter into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds.

Since then America's plunge into fascism has been getting ever deeper.

Unless you have been asleep longer than Rip Van Winkle, you know that 9/11 was a false flag event.  And the Patriot Act and the NDAA took away all your freedoms promised under the Constitution.

Now the NSA spies on everyone - the Congress, Supreme Court and the White House, And, of course, you.

Keep singing land of the free - that's the closest you'll get to freedom.

The most extraordinary passage in the memo requires that the Israeli spooks “destroy upon recognition” any communication provided by the NSA “that is either to or from an official of the US government.” It goes on to spell out that this includes “officials of the Executive Branch (including the White House, Cabinet Departments, and independent agencies); the US House of Representatives and Senate (members and staff); and the US Federal Court System (including, but not limited to, the Supreme Court).”

The stunning implication of this passage is that NSA spying targets not only ordinary American citizens, but also Supreme Court justices, members of Congress and the White House itself. One could hardly ask for a more naked exposure of a police state.

http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2013/09/13/surv-s13.html

Congratulations, Martin Armstromg - you are only 51 years, 1 month, and 16 days late in stating the obvious.  To call you worthless would be to compliment you.

Oh, FFS, the plunge probably could be traced back to Lincoln as it is a power reserved to the states (by definition) to succeed from the US if they so desire.  Instead we got the Civil War, suspension of the writ or habeus corpus, concentration camps, conscription, evasion legally therefrom .... bunches of good shit.
Note also that Lincoln was a Republican who really had no interest in freeing the slaves.  (Was sorta ancillary, actually...)
He is loved by Progressives.

I also only do service business (mechanics, restaurants, etc.) with local owner operated businesses since I know they're skilled at avoiding Uncle Sam.  But Uncle Sam's going after them full force.

Why is Armstrong calling a cat a fish?

Why is Armstrong calling this regime with an international ideology Fascism, although Fascism is NATIONAL, not international?

In Fascism private property was respected. Does Armstrong really not know which ideology fights private ownership and initiative? Armstrong never heard about international Socialism, Communism, Marxism?

I sense distraction from the agenda of the global "elite" in Armstrong's articles.

No difference if one ideology claims human DNA were useless artifacts and environment was the sole determination, or if an ideology accepts the laws of biology also for the human species?!

Totally agree. But so is fascism. It's also bloody-minded and popular with mindless morons who are attracted by the violence it employs.

Families are the most socialist communities. If you are against Socialism per se, then you are against families.

Because of the tremendous amount of propaganda from the Red and the golden internationalists, people usually believe that Socialism was Marxism.

But every family immediately prooves what an incredible nonsense, what a scam it is! A family is a closed society. Not international.

And it stops functioning if only one foreigner would be put into the family and declared member of it. The strongest families, every community can be destroyed that way, by declaring foreigners as being a part of it.

That's the whole concept behind mass immigration - the destruction of the nation state - the INTERNATIONAL agenda of the Red and golden internationalists.

So you are falling victim to the typical smoke and mirrors trick:

You should believe there was only international Socialism. But you shall not recognize that the most wonderful things in human reality are a result of SOCIALIST entities: like families and partnerships. Which have NOTHING to do with international solidarity - which on it's own is a lie and does not exist. A family is based upon solidarity with my closest ones.

So all beautifully working socialist communities need to be CLOSED communities and therefore functioning Socialism can NOT BE INTERNATIONAL.

The Red and golden globalists have occupied the beautiful idea of Socialism and perverted it into the globalist's agenda for world government.

The golden internationalists like Mises or his scholars like Armstrong are doing what they can to make people to believe that the only form of Socialism was international Socialism, too.

And why is that? Because their agenda is not Socialism or Capitalism! Their agenda is INTERNATIONALISM.

Time to wake up: Socialism works! Everyone who has a good family knows, how great Scoialism is! But we are conditioned to believe that Socialism was only the Red globalist kind of it. The golden as the Red internationalists don't want the people to recognzie, that the key for Socialism, for solidarity, is always the closed community.

Did you choose your family as child?

Do you allow everything your children want? Then you are a dictator! And your parents were tyrants!

"Tyrannical". Just another propaganda word to avoid discussing the facts.

Fact is, that ANY FUNCTIONING COMMUNITY needs rules. And to make sure the rules are put in effect, AUTHORITY is needed.

But people have no clue about these FACTS.

So what is the result fo the propaganda that rules were bad? That authority was bad? That personal wishes, egoism was the only good thing? The result is the destruction of the community without the majority recognizing what it does by supporting it.

So the question you must ask is different:

Do I want a working family? Then you hopefuly know, what you have to do. For example you may not put your wishes on top. You may not take yourself so important. Not that complicated.

And once this is understood you can ask yourself what kind of society you want to life in.

Should it be a society where you starve to death when you lose your job? That your children will only receive a good education in a private school? Once you have grown old that you have no pension, if the market collapses? That your wife will die, if you can't afford to pay the bills?

And since for 99% such a society is not what they want, and only the 1% wants such a society, then you will recognize, with the family as example, that such a society could exist, but ONLY if it follows the rules and laws that all functioning socialist communities share and not the Marxist scam of the Red and golden globalists.

smacker, he has a point in this sentence. the family is perhaps the very source of the demand for socialism that some have. a kind of "it works there, so why not elsewhere?"

tribes work in a similar way, nations too, and even elites, witness that phenomenon of the "communism of the rich" that pops up everywhere in history

socialism, as such, is very human, and yes, it's actually the very first thing that any child witnesses when born in a family

liberalism, taken to extremes, negates all communal roots of both the socialistic family and the conservative nationalistic/tribal community, and becomes the theoretical,  empty musing of someone completely unattached to anything

are we all medieval merchant adventurers shipping in the Indian Ocean from market harbour to market harbour, after having lost our family and our national and community attachments?

Fri, 01/09/2015 - 06:43 | 5640722 smacker

There's a point in the overall scheme of things and I have long said that women tend to be more socialist than men because they are less able to survive without all sorts of support from society etc.

But when we talk about socialism, we almost always refer to "political" socialism. The philosophy of big, nanny state government which directs our lives and steals our money to waste on the latest utopian idea of ever more monuments to Statism. And of course corruption is a part of that. That's not really anything to do with families and community support, all of which exists way outside of any concept of socialism.

My earlier point to the commenter is that there really isn't a lot of difference between socialism, marxism and fascism. They're all ultimately totalitarian and use jackboots to impose their will when persuassion fails to work.

"The richest 400 Americans own more wealth than the majority of 150 million Americans combined. Truth is, America has shown that free markets and free elections simply cannot co-exist. Corporate campaign contributions become votes; thus, the poor are politically marginalized. Money becomes speech, muzzling the poor. How can capitalism and democracy co-exist, if one concentrates wealth and power in the hands of few, and the other seeks to spread power and wealth among many? Organized greed always defeats disorganized democracy."

It’s mostly Feudalism moving into Oligarchy. Oligarchy in turn can then become fascist in order to make their rental gains.  This money power fascism is “international” and does not give a damn about nations.

The U.S. government reacts to its constituency:

1)

Extraction Industries:  Oil, Minerals, Gas, and by extension electrical power

2)

Farming and Related Corporations

3)

Military Industrial Security Complex

4)

Credit Money/Banking system  (International)

The 17’th amendment, or direct election of senators mean that States no longer are politically representative.  Instead, Senators are greased with special interest money in order to buy your vote.

The 16’th amendment puts the Government in the role of taxing you as a power back up to private Credit making banks.  Remember TARP?

Number 4 is the most powerful group influencing Washington.  Private banking power is money power.  He who has the gold rules, and creditor is usually over debtor.  Washington is in a debtor relationship to bankers.   Our banking system became fully Zionist in 1912, at the time of 16 and 17’th amendment.
Tracing out the influence on these amendments, including Federal Reserve Act, shows clearly it was international Zionism that usurped Federalism.  Yes, before that in the civil war, there were attacks, and even going back to the founding of the country there were monetary attacks.   War of 1812 was a Rothschild event because he didn’t want the first bank’s charter to lapse.

These attacks were always attempts to wrest the money power into private hands, to then use it to buy up the commons, and take perpetual rents.  When the first bank charter lapsed, the banks shareholders were shown to be “English” and hence it was a backdoor attempt to strangle the nation in its crib.  The Bank of England became “internationally owned” in 1694, and this bank is the main reason for the Revolutionary War…they wanted exchange in Gold, and wanted colonists to use BOE banknotes instead of colonial script.

Industrial Capitalism allowed industry to build out, and improved productivity could pay bankers their usury.  However, financial capitalism – as in today world - makes money with money, something like in a Casino.  It is not real production, but instead is notional symbols.

Washington doesn’t give a damn about your vote – politics are all theatre because your political power is usurped.

So much talk about the control of money and property, rigts and freedom.  I agree that those controls are going on and getting tighter by the day.

The real goal of all the controls has to do with our thougts and speech.

1. You will not speak out against the lie.

2. You will not disagree with the lie even in thought.

3. You will believe the lie.

Those are the three big picture steps that this Nazi, Commie, Fascist, whateverism you want to call it is trying to bring about.  Simply look at the war being waged on truth.  There can be no truth, absolutes, etc.  It must all be relative, conditional, vague, and outright lies.  That is the why for the attack against God, the Bible, or anything associated with them.  Every man makes up that which is truth in his own mind, gets on the lie train, and the rest is history.  What is truth?  Where is truth?  The liar and his lies has taken over the world and will seek to destroy the truth in any form.

Look at what we have come to in all our modern, convenient world.  How easy it is for the whateverism to put pressure on you through financial, energy, food, or other social means.  How much harder it would be if a majority of us lived on our own land and provided our needs on a local, community basis.  You quit shipping food into Dallas for a week and those Texans would lick Obama's boots if it would get them some food trucks rolling.  Cut the power to the state of _________ and they would be ready to spill blood on whomever the media told them was at fault.  Let the IRS lock down your bank account and you will do whatever they say.  Once they apply the pressure, here are your next steps:

1. Keep your head down and mouth shut.

2. Convince yourself that your convenience and a "normal" life for your family is more important that your integrity, honor, and truth.  Decide its not worth dying for because it won't change anything anyway.

3. Boldly and gladly join in with the Koolaid crowd cheering on the bag of lies.

All the controls do is find the right pressure point so you eventually say with all sincerity, "I love Big Brother".  That  is what they are after.......your mind/soul. They don't give a shit about your money.......they can just print that.

EZ term loans to Chinese govt are available yet not to the American business man.  The future, when taking into account the education turning the children into bland and dulled, unskilled factory works who will pay off the govt blew into a bubble the size of Jupiter will be the nightmare we were warened about.

"...Hamburger writes that administrative law is “essentially a reemergence of the absolute power practiced by pre-modern kings. Rather than a modern necessity", it is a latterday version of a recurring threat—a threat inherent in human nature and in the temptations of power.”

He reminds us: “Early Americans were very familiar with absolute power. They feared this extra-legal, supra-legal, and consolidated power because they knew from English history that such power could evade the law and override all legal rights… Americans established the Constitution to be the source of all government power and to bar any absolute power. Nonetheless, absolute power has come back to life.”

He goes on: “ over the past 120 years, Americans have reestablished the very sort of power that the Constitution most centrally forbade. Administrative law… binds Americans not through law but through other mechanisms—not through statutes but through regulations—and not through the decisions of courts but through other adjudications. It… requires judges to put aside their independent judgment and defer to administrative power as if it were above the law—which our judges do far more systematically than even the worst of 17th century English judges. And it is consolidated in that it combines the three powers of government—legislative, executive, and judicial—in administrative agencies.”

He concludes:  “In sum, the conventional understanding of administrative law is utterly mistaken. It is wrong on the history and
oblivious to the danger. That danger is absolutism: extra-legal, supra-legal, and consolidated power. And the danger matters because administrative power revives this absolutism. The Constitution carefully barred this threat, but constitutional doctrine has
since legitimized this dangerous sort of power. It therefore is necessary to go back to basics…  We should demand rule through law and rule under law. Even more fundamentally, we need to reclaim the vocabulary of law: Rather than speak of administrative law, we should speak of administrative power—indeed, of absolute power...”

Read the rest here.

Thank you so much, Professor Hamburger.
