Why Don't "Moderate" Muslims Condemn Terrorism ??!

George Washington's picture

Update:

Muslim Policeman Died Defending the Right of French Cartoonists to Mock His Religion

We’ve extensively documented that Muslims worldwide condemn ISIS. And see this.

http://media.giphy.com/media/TlK63EwiHqemn41RRHq/giphy.gifSlideshow by Adam Johnson

Similarly, the condemnation of yesterday’s barbaric terrorist attack in Paris has been global and immediate.   Here’s a sampling of condemnation which came within hours of the attack:

  • The Union of Islamic Organizations of France  responded on its website, writing: “The UOIF condemns in the strongest terms this criminal attack, and these horrible murders. The UOIF expresses its deepest condolences to the families and all the employees of Charlie Weekly.”
  • Hassen Chalghoumi, imam of the Drancy mosque in Paris’s Seine-Saint-Denis suburb, spoke with France’s BFM TV and condemned the attackers, saying, “Their barbarism has nothing to do with Islam.”  “I am extremely angry,” Chalghoumi said. “These are criminals, barbarians. They have sold their soul to hell. This is not freedom. This is not Islam and I hope the French will come out united at the end of this.”
  • The Grand Mosque of Paris, one of the largest in France, issued a statement on its website shortly after the attacks, saying its community was “shocked” and “horrified” by the violence.

Rabbi Marc Schneier notes in the Washington Post this week that the moderate Muslim majority is speaking out against the  extremists … but “we’re just not listening.”

Father Elias Mallon of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association remarks:

“Why aren’t Muslims speaking out against these atrocities?” The answer is: Muslims have been speaking out in the strongest terms, condemning the crimes against humanity committed by [extremists] in the name of Islam.

And see this.

"the western belief that the world's 1+ billion Muslims are hell bent on destroying everyone else"

Typical bogus straw man argument. I never met anyone who believed that bullshit. What people are starting to recognize ina  big way is that Islam is incompatible with Western societies. To say this does not exculpate the West for its various crimes against Muslim nation but they're two separate issues.

Well, why don't we just ask them?

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/Opinion-Polls.htm

I have little doubt that there are many Muslims repulsed by this violence. We see many in the path of ISIS who are moderate Muslims being shot in the head or simply losing their head, so we know its true. But like it or not it is a muslim problem, one that no westerner can solve. We can make it worse or maybe a little better but the horse is out of the barn now and we can scream about who left the door open forever and never get it back.

What would be better to know is how many of these groups we see here are saying one thing before the cameras, and then saying something completely different behind mosque doors? Abrogation is a central tenant of Islam. It is completely within their religious morality to lie about anything if it can be justified as advancing Allah. Its not like you have to be a Muslim to lie, but it does go a long way towards establishing these community leaders integrity. Hell, look at our own leadership and their willingness to lie to advance their agendas. The only thing different is Muslims have it written down in their holy book.

Anyway, good bad or otherwise, they are a fucked people. But of course statistics of violence are meaningless as has been so well demonstrated by the violence of our own minority population. In the interest of honest talk about race, we aren't allowed to bring it up. And like radical Muslims, our citizens acting out violently have an excuse, they have had their feelings hurt.

People are just people so we need to ask why and better still who? Who is driving these agitations and for what purpose? They act because they can and they believe they can because they believe they have some public support, from their brothers, but mostly through their enablers. ISIS is a major threat, not because they will attack us, but because they have created the one thing radical Islam has not had since 9/11. Victory. The sense of winning, the idea of a momentum of victory is a major motivator. As long as ISIS or any other group remains strong and winning battles and territory, radical Muslims will be acting out anywhere they think they can. Its just getting rolling. 1% of a billion people is a lot of pissed off people, looking for a outlet. And all of this fits perfectly with the plans of those who see a single world governance, currency and tyranny. They finally have an enemy worthy of a world wide war, something that even china or Russia could not provide.

There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. You mean like the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, who endorsed the fatwah to murder Rushdie?

They are dismulating, duh. According to the Islamic doctrine of al-Taqiyya. Silly infidels, you're so easy to fool.

That last song is in the Methodist hymnal where I go to church. I was very surprised when he decided to go full tilt Muslim like he did.

Let's compare Explosive Tonnage...

How many Thousands of Metric Tons of Bombs and Explosives have we dropped on Muslim Countries for the past Quarter Century? (That is a substantial amount of the cost of that $2 Trillion...if not much more.)

How many pounds of explosives have they detonated over here in the United States?

I think that the USA has the edge in that...

Our cities are not shelled out.

And the USA is still wide ass open for terrorist attacks. Since few to none are happening...Then there IS EXTREMELY LOW THREAT HERE.

Our Oil Refineries are wide open.

So is our Power Grid.

A few well placed devices and America would not have any Electricity...FOR MANY, MANY MONTHS.

So they are NOT HERE. And there is NO JUSTIFICATION for doing that over there.

If these so called Radical Muslims hate Israel so much...Then why is it that there are few attack in Israel? Why doesn't ISIS attack Israel?

IT IS THE USA that FABRICATES THE ATTACKS.

IT IS US. It is like Winston's 1984 Government of Oceania shelling her own fucking people.

But you are just too fucking asleep and far, too far, into the Matrix...probably getting some pay off for this.

And GW...They are not going to awaken until they go hungry. When their pocketbook depends upon it then it is just far easier to believe in the lie.

Indeed. We bomb them to rather curious effect, in fact, we kill way more secular muslims than fundamentalist terrorists. We destabilize and destroy secular middle eastern governments, and stand by and do nothing as they are replaced by fundamentalist regimes-- who then sponsor more terror.

In fact, judging from the actual results, it almost seems like we consider the secular arab to be the enemy, and the terrorist to be our friends.

Hmmm.

Has it ever occurred to you that those Christians whom do are shown the door??? Invited to leave?

Ever been booted from a Church? I have been on more than one occasion. It is all good. I shake the dust from my sandals.

And as for the Islamics??? Hell Radical Islamists kill more moderate Muslims than victims from any other group.

I think that the they are terrorized by their own.

They just ask you to leave church here. But that will change. The "Christian" Churches will also kill "infidels" as they've done in the past.

It is instructive to note that the most egregious example of Catholic behavior against "infidels"-- the Spanish Inquisition-- was in direct response to the confusion and discord being sown in the Catholic Church by Spanish jews and muslims.

Today Pepe Escobar had an interesting and thought-provoking piece.

Cui bono, then, with killing Charlie? Only those whose agenda is to demonize Islam. Not even a bunch of brainwashed fanatics would pull off the Charlie carnage to show people who accuse them of being barbarians that they are, in fact, barbarians. French intel at least has concluded that this is no underwear bomber stunt. This is a pro job. That happens to take place just a few days after France recognizes Palestinian statehood. And just a few days after General Hollande demanded the lifting of sanctions against the Russian "threat".

Who profits from killing Charlie?

Because Islam like the Baptists has no central authority.  Catholics have the Pope who can bust the obnoxious priests.  Baptists like Muslims have no central body, so as long as the congregation supports it, a preacher there can get pretty wild.

Actually Thomas Jefferson was the first president fightng in the Middle East to fight the Barbary pirates. You know, from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli.

Er...The Halls of Montezuma are in Mexico...

And actually the Jarhead that wrote that piece had the sequence of events incorrect as the Barbary Wars happened well before the War against Mexico.

I'd rather talk with a squab than a jarhead.

I like how the USS Constitution, under the command of Bainbridge, shelled Tripoli. after he beached the USS Philadelphia...giving those bastards a State of the Art 44 Gun Frigate (which the British bastards likened to one of their ships of the line due to the elevation of the Gun Deck.). Thank Stephen Decateur for saving the day on that fiasco when he torched the Philadelphia..

Those sixteen Frigates were built specifically to counter the Barbary Pirate threat to the Commercial Fleet of the fledgling nation.

BUT I REGRESS...

It is a DISTRACTING MOOT ISSUE as that was OVER 200 FUCKING YEARS AGO...AND...

THE POINT IS THAT THE MODERATE MUSLIMS DO NOT SUPPORT THE EXTREMISTS...TODAY.

But that inconvenient fact just interferes with the STATIST AGENDA, right?

You just made his point. Moderate muslims don't stand for anything. They are lazy and useless. Same as "moderate" americans.

The thing is, moderate muslims aren't really muslims-- if they followed the instructions in the Koran for proper Islamic behavior, they'd be terrorists.

Similarly, moderate americans aren't really americans. If they actually bothered to read and understand the DOI and the Constitution, they would stop paying taxes tomorrow and stop going to the polls.
