French Police In Standoff With Besieged Murder Suspects Who Are "Ready To Die As Martyrs" - Live Webcast

Tyler Durden's picture

After evading the French police for nearly three days, a few hours ago the Charlie Hebdo murder suspects were cornered in an industrial building near Charles de Gaulle airport in the town of Dammarin-en-Goelle, 26 miles northeast of paris and 8 miles away from the airport, where they are said to have taken a hostage. Heavily armed police blocked approaches to the town and helicopters hovered in the fog overhead. Agence France-Presse said the men have taken a hostage. According to reports, the suspects have established police contact with the police and have said they are ready to "die as martyrs."

A quick recap of the situation from SkyNews:

  • Suspects holed up on an industrial estate in Dammartin-en-Goele, 27 miles from the heart of Paris, with one person held hostage.
  • They was a police chase and shootout after they earlier stole a car and fled on the N2 road.
  • Up to 1,500 police - including swat teams, snipers and helicopters - are at the scene as negotiations go on.
  • Residents told to stay indoors, stay away from windows and turn off lights.
  • The brothers, Said and Cherif Kouachi, have reportedly said they are prepared to die as martyrs.
  • Officials say the killing of a female police officer yesterday is linked to the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

Anecdotal reports have said some overflights are being diverted and runways at CDG airport may have been closed.

More details:

According to Bloomberg, the two men are holed up at a commercial printing business on the edge of the town, opposite a logistics site operated by grocer Carrefour SA. The town council asked residents to stay home in a statement on its website, and said students were confined to their schools. At Charles de Gaulle, France’s main international airport, operator Aeroports de Paris said flights were being re-routed around the area.

“An operation is currently under way in Dammartin-en-Goele and special police forces are being deployed,” Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said in televised comments. “All of the ministry’s forces, police forces, are mobilized.”

The two men may be in possession of a rocket launcher and other weapons, according to a police official who declined to be identified in line with government policy.

Cherif Kouachi was known to French police and spent time in prison for participation in a jihadist group. His brother Said may have received training at a militant camp in Yemen.

Noel Beckwith, a resident of Dammartin-en-Geoele, told Bloomberg Television that residents had heard “nothing at all” from police so far.

“We’re sort of barricaded in our house and looking out the windows.”

As Breaking911 added, one of the Kouachi brothers turned up at the printing factory, initially pretending to be a police officer, and told a worker: “Get out of here, we don’t kill civilians.”  Local residents are being told to stay at home, switch off the lights, and stay away from their windows. Hundreds of people are sealed inside some local office buildings.

There have been reports that two people have been killed, but Paris prosecutors insist there have been no deaths.

Police are now negotiating with the two suspects, Said and Cherif Kouachi.

At least two planes have aborted landing attempts at the airport as the situation unfolds.

The latest: the two have asked to die as martyrs:

We are confident various enforcement agencies will gladly oblige.

Live feeds from Sky:

And France24:

And while the world follows the final showdown of the Kouachi brothers, a new cell may have been activated in Paris:

Telltale signs of a false flag operation:

Culprits’ names are released within hours of the attack (check)
Contradictory reports emerge after attack, then quickly forgotten (check)
Culprits were “under watch” by security services (check)
Culprits (and/or their families) claim innocence (check – Hamyd Mourad)
Culprits “forget” stuff (ID cards, passports, Corans, etc.) on scene (check)
Conveniently incriminating videos immediately appear on Youtube (check)
Political timing of the attack is suspicious (check – French vote at UN)
Attacks are immediately used to justify an attack on individual liberty (check)
MSM speaks in unison, parrots the same given narrative (check)
Calls for in-depth investigation are labeled “unpatriotic” (not yet)
Culprits are not allowed to live and go to trial (let’s see)

In this case add the oddity that attackers knew exactly when all staff/cartoonists would be gathered, and behaved like military operatives (i.e. were well informed/trained), but supposedly initially got the address wrong (or did they pretend to get it wrong to give the impression they’re amateurs?).

I’m not jumping to any conclusion or making any accusations, I just think there are anomalies in the official account at this point.

Not everything is a "false flag" operation.

These seem like to Islamic lunatics. I hope they capture them and wrap them in bacon, shove pork roll down their throats and then shoot them.

Folks, Islam wants to conquor the world.  Study history.  They burned the Alexandria Library, burned down Nalanda University and almost conquered the West and East.

Sadly, the French have little left to surrender; but will gladly accept the challenge to out pussify Boston.

The Russian solution needs to be conducted on these two.  Their families, uncles, cousins, lovers all need to be wiped off the map.  Once this is done, it sends the message not to pull this bullshit again in the west.  Go to your crappy deserts and do what you will, however keep your ignorance and stupidity there.

"Folks, Islam wants to conquor the world.  Study history.  They burned the Alexandria Library, burned down Nalanda University and almost conquered the West and East."

This is just blatantly false.  Its the bankers that want to conquer the world, and have been mainly successful!  They need to keep people divided and conquered, hence you get your scapegoats and your false flags and your daily dose of islamophobia.

If 'the Muslims' were really going to take over Europe, then why AREN'T the Balkans Muslim????  Only Albania is majority Islamic.  The entire Balkans were in the possession of the Ottomans.  If they didn't exterminate and forcibly convert the Christians there, what is the argument that THAT is what would have happened to Western Europe if the Ottomans were not defeated?

The Ottomans were actually very religiously tolerant (for their time).

HOW TO PREPARE A RADICAL ISLAMIST

You have left out one of the most important parts of dealing with this vermin.  You MUST prepare the muslim to meet its maker and get its 72 virgins.

1.  Find a radical islamist.

2.  Kill it. (making certain NOT to blow its head off)

3.  Open its mouth.  (Extract any gold teeth for booty.  These can be sold to other "rad" muslims.  Use Craigs List under "Gold for Sale")

4.  Fill the mouth with bacon.  (Use the cheap stuff here with plenty of fat)

5.  Close the mouth.

6.  Sew the mouth shut with pig gut.  (Available as violin string)

7.  Take the "scalp".  (In this case the beard.  Any good fishing filet knife will do the job)

8.  Attach the "scalp" to your scalp belt.  (You will be "da' man" at the next NRA meeting if you have more than 3)

9.  Carve the appropriate notch on your pistola grip. (Optional)

10.  Rinse your hands and repeat.

The concept of martyrdom is an especially good idea, because it will tend to supress any genetic disposition towards this behavior in future generations. It's just a matter of making sure the religious nuts make the entry into paradise before they've procreated in the physical world.

Most false flags depend at least partly on useful idiots. But if you're prepared to critically review other incidents as possible false flags, why not this one? The number of anomalies in the official news story is high as ever, and there is the usual universal condemnation immediately followed by calls for tougher security measures. Curiously in this case, the modus operandi of the perpetrators doesn't even point to islamic terrorism at all, yet people seem more eager than ever to swallow that narrative.

all drawn on the rich substrate of old British quips on their hundreds-of-years-foes, with some very idiotic home-made toppings and frostings

my point is that here we find lots of commentators which have such ultra-conservative and such American point of views... that the whole neo-con propaganda set get's regurgitated without even one little bit of thinking

and this includes a lot of this Muslim-hate "let's go and bomb some towel-heads" stuff and all this French-are-surrendering-monkeys straight out of Homer Simpson's mouth full of Freedom Fries, or this new theory on the relations between the young USA and the Muslim world

All this ugly disdain and nasty jokes come from the firm refusal of the French to join America in Irak, in 2003.

Since France refused to go to Iraq, American warmongers and neo-cons made French army look like cowards – as a punishment.

But History has proved the French were right, and that the WMD were only a dirty trick to serve as a pretext.

Nevertheless, the hate of American warmongers against France remains still there, well alive, even in ZH.

This stale hate still shows through "innocent good jokes" about the “surrender monkeys” and their white flags

As for the rest, the French can be proud of their Military History:

According to the British historian Niall Ferguson, since 387 BC, France has fought 168 major wars against such badasses as the Roman Empire, the British Army and the Turkish forces. Their track record isn't too shabby, either: They've won 109, lost 49 and drawn 10 times.

This makes France the most successful military power in European history - in terms of number of fought and won …

The French have succeeded to conquer and guard the largest country in Europe.

Top 10 (now 12) inconsistencies tally:
1. 10 people were supposed to have died with others injured. Yet at the
scene, a max of 2 ambulances showed up when well over 10 would have
been needed for such an event.

2. It looks like they did fire some real rounds from the looks of one of
the police cars for this "drill", however the pictures are not clear
enough to show if the bullet holes are just gangsta stickers, in one of
the photos the police officers are laughing and joking next to the shot
up car where someone supposedly died. Additionally, images on Google of
shot up windshields have cracks going all through the windshield. In
this France event, all damage is limited to where the holes are. Is
that possible?

3. All people who responded to the scene had French Foreign Legion haircuts. Odd for ambulance drivers and EMT's.

4 (a good one) - If the perpetrators got away and have not been
captured, HOW did the French police identify them within hours when they
did not turn up elsewhere? Sort of like the passport on 911 or all
those pristine passports from flight MH17. That works. Gotta have a
positive ID on them to "prove" they are "Muslim" and not just the Mossad
out on a field trip. Gotta do it when the shock factor is at max. And
no one dropped a passport this time, HOW did the police figure it out?
TIMES THREE?

5. I never saw any bloody photos from this, not even fake blood, not
even from a police officer who was shot by an AK and laying on the
sidewalk for 10 seconds before being "shot" a second time, and still no
blood. Very odd if this is real.

6. Target was a group of Jews, who belong to a greater whole which stages B.S. terror attacks frequently. That stinks.

7. How did the road miraculously have no traffic? The scene is set up
as if staged. It is as if the area was cordoned off prior to the
"attack" for a drill, so the "terrorists" simply parked smack dab in the
middle of the road because they knew there would be no traffic.

8. How did the attackers know there would be a giant staff meeting with
everyone important for the publication present to be shot all at once? A
little help from the NSA or what?

9. The publication had serious prior financial trouble, and if
it was going to close anyway, why not use it to stage a psy op? That
would "explain" why it closed, would it not?

10. There is no recoil on the AK as it shoots. I initially assumed
blanks, but what about rubber bullets? At any rate, there was no sign
of blood at any point from the police officer, an AK goes all the way
through and bullet proof vests are for handguns, not AK rounds. If he
was wearing one it would not work. LACK OF ANY RECOIL AT ALL SCREAMS
BLANK.

Inconsistency 11: All video initially posted was shot from
rooftops. FOR A SCENE THAT LASTED LESS THAN A MINUTE. How did anyone
get up to the roof that fast to get video of this, times several people
shooting from different places? The roof tops were just regular roof
tops with no reason for anyone to be up there. It is not like there was
a roof top Starbucks or something. Why were people up there to begin
with, how did they figure out what was going on and have their cell
phones all ready to shoot video from perfect angles from start to
finish?

ANSWER: They went up ahead of time, got in position, and shot
video of a drill they knew would happen. It is the only rational
answer. Even if they were a roofing crew, they would not have
figured out something was going on and had camera phones (times several)
shooting clear video in under 15 seconds to capture this less than a
minute long event. The staged camera angles and time frame alone
nails this as a fraud, such timing and positioning is flatly impossible.
Even the robot android DATA from Star Trek could not have gotten up to
the roof that fast, found where to shoot the best video from and
captured this so well.

Inconsistency 12: Getaway driver was in school at the time of the "incident"

Classmates stand up for him

The classmates of an 18-year-old suspect in the Paris shooting, that
occurred yesterday afternoon at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine,
have protested his innocence by saying that he was in class at the time
of the incident in which 12 people were murdered.

Hamyd Mourad was reported to have handed himself to the police at around11pm last night after he saw his name mentioned on the news and his friends and acquaintances have said that he has an alibi, as they claim
he was present in the classrooms that day.

It won't matter, just like the Boston bombing, where dorm room
mates said Tsnarev was not at the bombing scene when it happened. Once they name a patsy, he is TOAST. What an innocent dupe Hamyd was for turning himself in expecting the system to be just when running a Jewish scam! Gitmo time!

I really like the one where the officer gets shot with an AK 47 and yet doesn't bleed or twitch just falls down...Hmmm has anyone seen the Zapruter footage of the Kennedy assassination??
That's what it looks like to be shot.

Bullshit. All of it.

The AK doesn't kick much. Anyone who's ever shot it knows this. Kicks a bit more than the AR; but not much.

Rubber bullets produce the same recoil a regular bullet will. Blanks, a bit less; but there's still some. The energy of the gunpowder exploding and blasting out the barrel has an equal and opposite reaction.

Why go on?

I like when people question things - nothing should be taken at face value.

If you look very closely at the video of the officer being shot (frame by frame), you can see that the head shot actually misses and strikes the sidewalk beside the officer's head, or alternatively, the muzzle blast from the blank causes dust to fly up from the sidewalk beside the cop's head. Either way, he doesn't take a bullet to the head, but he is deaf in 1 ear now.

he describes in his papers how he was allowed to walk around in what really can only be explained as a market-dominated setting, with the various secular and religious authorities kept at arm's lenght from the merchants in trade (and piracy-like things). and so this is actually hilarious, in this Muslim-bashing context:

Muslim merchants were the original free-market, keep-the-state-out-of-it, keep money-lenders-in-check libertarians

nobody ever achieved that level of libertarianism, neither before or after that period and place in time

even Adam Smith and various other "inventors of free-market ideology"... borrowed their examples - which often pop up here - from Persian writings on the matter

for corsair purposes, the galley was used until Lord Nelson's times, and was very useful for (light) reconaissance even later, though the rowing boats started to change and be called differently, particularly those used by the Spaniards. but I don't have to believe him. plenty of other descriptions from better sources

Thomas Jefferson (1743 – 1826) was the third President of the United States, and the principal author of the Declaration of Independence.

In reference to the Islamic slave trade of Americans and Europeans by the Barbary states, Jefferson asked Tripoli's envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman, by what right he extorted money and took slaves in this way. He answered:

The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.[119][120]

Jefferson later went to war with the Barbary states.

Not to worry, I think we are becoming obsessed with false flags. Everything that happens now is a false flag. I do not think this is a set up but that footage of the cop getting shot goes to show just how easily you can be led off on a tangent. It looks to all an intents and purposes to me that he missed by about a foot.

Your "certainty" that it was NOT a false flag

is in denial of current, recent and past history,

from Gladio to Phoenix, from AlQaeda to ISIS.

In the current case, the US and its "partners" like Saudi Arabia have

helped organize, train, radicalize, and equip fighters to combat Assad and Iran.

Those "fighters" have then somehow returned, armed themselves, and organized a "terror" attack all under the watchful eyes of the "counter-terrorism" police.

Whether it was deliberately helped, or intentionally allowed to predictably happen, the cause of the "blowback" has its origins in on-going Western militarism, support for extremist despotism, and attempts to gain full spectrum economic and military global dominance.

Only the deluded readily believe that such attacks are a surprise to "innocent" western governments with clean hands in the origin and execution.

"Your "certainty" that it was NOT a false flag."

And NOW I've heard it all. Prove that it wasn't!? Seriously? That's your response? Prove a negative.

JFC. You people have completely lost your minds.

Semantics.

Your faith in the official narrative

is in denial of current, recent and past history

Is this better? Now you don't have to prove a negative. ;)

The "extremists" have not arrived from nowhere. They have been financed and armed by the US and its partners such as Saudi Arabia. Whether deliberately helped or intentionally allowed, we can be sure of one thing. It was predictable.

Can we conceptualize beyond the possible immediate motives of the attackers? Regardless of the attackers' immediate motive for blowback, it was predictable blowback.

Conceptualize this. Generating predictable blowback is the generalized version of isolated false flag terrorism. Our policy-makers are NOT idiots, and know full well what are their global aims, and what the predictable results will be of their promoting extremists, invasions, occupations, renditions, tortures, etc.

The most predictable result will be that those who superficially focus on the immediate alleged motives of the attackers will ignore and deny how extremism has been cultivated and blowback generated to serve designs of  global domination other than those of the attackers.

exactly!!! and all of this was reported ad nauseum by the CIA, FBI and every other military and intelligence agency before Iraq was invaded. Bush and Cheney knew full well attacking Iraq on such bullshit grounds would only create a huge backlash of Islamic terrorism.....Mission Accomplished.

These attacks weren't planned in detail by the MIC but they certainly were hoped for, now watch what happens in Europe as the MIC destabilzes it from within by letting more attacks unfold. Remember they monitor every form of electronic communication in the world.

After invading, occupying, bombing, torturing, renditioning, night assassinations, drones, support for despots and extremist organizations

done to how many nations,

now is the "shock and surprise" that there is resentment, retaliation, and revenge

mixed with replayed fantasy that "they" are attacking our "freedoms"

all in denial and despite the known ulterior motives and designs of our own leaders

and the policies of global militarism and "Homeland" policing mandated

by our own public and private leaders.

Take a look at the video being shot from roof tops. HTF do you gain such a position without prior knowledge. Also look at the cop being shot almost point blank with an AK47. He doesn't even move. They are using blanks. Anyone ever see a windshield shot up, bullets don't make nice neat holes in safety glass and what's with the F'n sneaker that's so special he has to stop and pick it up before getting away.

Da, HedgeHammer there's been a glut of orders to purchase that ' miracle ' glass. The manufacturers have taken on 500 extra workers and the CAC has gone up 1.3% on the back of it.

This is what a 9mm does to auto glass with protective film applied. Notice how the glass cracks in a thousand different pieces.

Didn't need prior knowledge, just heard the gunshots and ran up the stairs to the roof with a camera. The same thing happens in any riot.

Shot up windshields absolutely can and do look just like the ones in the pictures.

Someone picked up a shoe during the fog of war. These weird things happen in dynamic crisis situations. Extreme stress can affect a person's behavior in strange ways. I knew a guy who drove his car off the road into a ditch. The first thing he did was not to take any emergency action with the controls of his car, but to turn down the radio. He talked about it later in disbelief that he had done something so irrelevant at that moment. These things happen.

Maybe so but it wasn't like they were shooting out the window of the car before they got out, this person was already there with camera and waiting. That cop was supposedly shot as they got out of the car then rolled on the ground and then shot at point blank and still not a drop of blood. Does not look real to me as I've seen what live rounds do to a person. I may be way off basis here but I don't think so.

You might be over thinking this.  I don't think too many "military operatives" lose their shoes during their attacks.  They actually look a lot more to me like a garden variety band of very angry losers.

Great list, I have a minor quibble with the last item. You're right, except for the vegetable exemption caviat, sometimes invoked to let them appear in court if they've been reconfigured to show up in court like a vegetable, eg, the Boston Bomber with his larynx shot out and the Ft. Hood shooter who is basicly propped up like a cantaloupe.
