How to Beat Terrorism: Stop Making the Same 7 Mistakes
In the wake of the barbaric Paris terror attack, everyone is debating how to stop further terrorism.
Some say we need more war against Islamic countries … or more spying … or more crackdowns on our liberties.
But – despite what the talking heads may say – the methods for stopping future attacks are well known …
We’ve got to drain the swamp.
I. Stop Overthrowing the Moderates and Arming the Crazies
We know it’s a difficult concept to grasp, but if we want to stop terrorism we should – wait for it – stop supporting terrorists.
Specifically, we’re arming the most violent radicals in the Middle East, as part of a really stupid geopolitical strategy to overthrow leaders we don’t like (see section III for more details). And see this, this, this, this and this. And – strangely – we’re overthrowing the moderate Arabs who stabilized the region and denied jihadis a foothold.
Indeed, the French terrorists who just murdered the cartoonists in Paris apparently just returned from waging war against the Syrian government, where they may – directly or indirectly – have obtained U.S. weapons or training.
If we want to stop terrorism, we need to stop supporting the terrorists.
II. Stop Supporting the Dictators Who Fund Terrorists
Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest sponsor of radical Islamic terrorists.
The Saudis have backed ISIS and many other brutal terrorist groups. According to sworn declarations from a 9/11 Commissioner and the Co-Chair of the Congressional Inquiry Into 9/11, the Saudi government backed the 9/11 hijackers (see section VII for details).
Saudi Arabia is the hotbed of the most radical Muslim terrorists in the world: the Salafis (both ISIS and Al Qaeda are Salafis).
And the Saudis – with U.S. support – back the radical “madrassas” in which Islamic radicalism was spread.
And yet the U.S. has been supporting the Saudis militarily, with NSA intelligence and in every other way possible for 70 years.
In addition, top American terrorism experts say that U.S. support for brutal and tyrannical countries in the Middle east – like Saudi Arabia – is one of the top motivators for Arab terrorists.
So if we stop supporting the House of Saud and other Arab tyrannies, we’ll get a two-fold reduction in terror:
(1) We’ll undermine the main terrorism supporters
And …
(2) We’ll take away one of the main motivations driving terrorists: our support for the most repressive, brutal Arab tyrannies
III. Stop Imperial Conquests for Arab Oil
The U.S. has undertaken regime change against Arab leaders we don’t like for six decades. We overthrew the leader of Syria in 1949, Iran in 1953, Iraq twice, Afghanistan twice, Turkey, Libya … and other oil-rich countries.
Neoconservatives planned regime change throughout the Middle East and North Africa yet again in 1991.
Top American politicians admit that the Iraq oil was about oil, not stopping terrorism (documents from Britain show the same thing). Much of the war on terror is really a fight for natural gas. Or to force the last few hold-outs into dollars and private central banking.
And the U.S. military described terror attacks on the U.S. as a “small price to pay for being a superpower“:
A senior officer on the Joint Staff told State Department counter-terrorism director Sheehan he had heard terrorist strikes characterized more than once by colleagues as a “small price to pay for being a superpower”.
Security experts – including both conservatives and liberals – agree that waging war in the Middle East weakens national security and increases terrorism. See this, this, this, this, this, this, this and this.
For example, James K. Feldman – former professor of decision analysis and economics at the Air Force Institute of Technology and the School of Advanced Airpower Studies – and other experts say that foreign occupation is the main cause of terrorism. University of Chicago professor Robert A. Pape – who specializes in international security affairs – agrees.
We’ve fought the longest and most expensive wars in American history … but we’re less secure than before, and there are more terror attacks than ever.
Remember, Al Qaeda wasn’t even in Iraq until the U.S. invaded that country.
If we want to stop terrorism, we have to stop overthrowing Arab leaders and invading Arab countries to grab their oil.
IV. Stop Drone Assassinations of Innocent Civilians
Top CIA officers say that drone strikes increase terrorism (and see this).
The CIA – the agency in charge of drone strikes – even told Obama that drone kills can increase terrorism.
If we want to stop creating new terrorists, we have to stop the drone strikes.
V. Stop Torture
Top terrorism and interrogation experts agree that torture creates more terrorists.
Indeed, the leaders of ISIS were motivated by U.S. torture. (And one of the French terrorist said he was working for ISIS.)
Once again, we have a very current example: Paris terrorist Cherif Kouchi told a court in 2005 that he wasn’t radical until he learned about U.S. torture at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.
If we want to stop creating new terrorists, we have to stop torturing … permanently.
VI. Stop Mass Surveillance
Top security experts agree that mass surveillance makes us MORE vulnerable to terrorists. Stop it.
VII. Stop Covering Up 9/11
Government officials agree that 9/11 was state-sponsored terrorism … they just disagree on which state was responsible.
Because 9/11 was the largest terror attack on the U.S. in history – and all of our national security strategies are based on 9/11 – we can’t stop terror until we get to the bottom of what really happened, and which state was behind it.
Many high-level American officials – including military leaders, intelligence officials and 9/11 commissioners – are dissatisfied with the 9/11 investigations to date.
The Co-Chair of the congressional investigation into 9/11 – Bob Graham – and 9/11 Commissioner and former Senator Bob Kerrey are calling for either a “permanent 9/11 commission” or a new 9/11 investigation to get to the bottom of it.
The Co-Chair of the Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 and former Head of the Senate Intelligence Committee (Bob Graham) said that the Paris terror attack, ISIS, and other terrorist developments are a result of failing to stand up to Saudi Arabia and declassify the 9/11 investigation’s report about Saudi involvement in 9/11:
The 9/11 chairs, Ron Paul, and numerous other American politicians have called for declassification, as well.
Again, others have different ideas about who was behind 9/11. But until we get to the bottom of it, terror attacks will continue.
Stop Throwing Bodies In the River
Defenders of current government policy say: “we have to do something to stop terrorists!”
Yes, we do …
But we must also stop doing the 7 things above which increase terrorism. We have to stop “throwing new bodies in the river.”
But the powers-that-be don’t want to change course … they gain tremendous power and influence through our current war on terror strategies.
For example, the military-complex grows rich through war … so endless war is a feature – not a bug – of our foreign policy.
Torture was about building a false justification for war.
Mass surveillance is about economic and diplomatic advantage and crushing dissent.
Supporting the most radical Muslim leaders is about oil and power … “a small price to pay” to try to dominate the world.
A leading advisor to the U.S. military – the Rand Corporation – released a study in 2008 called “How Terrorist Groups End: Lessons for Countering al Qa’ida“. The report confirms what experts have been saying for years: the war on terror is actually weakening national security (see this, this and this).
As a press release about the study states:
“Terrorists should be perceived and described as criminals, not holy warriors, and our analysis suggests that there is no battlefield solution to terrorism.”
We, the People, have to stand up and demand that our power-hungry leaders stop doing the things which give them more power … but are guaranteed to increase terrorism against us, the civilian population.

IX. Abolish your Central Bank.
Try all its past and present decision-makers for all associated crimes, from fraud all the way up to treason. 100% transparency, 100% publicity, 100% on the record, 100% by public jury.
Those who cannot be tried because they are dead, should be exposed as a matter of record during the course of such trials.
Naturally, this assumes a new government with an uncompromised Department of Justice... might have to do both together. In any case, overthrowing the Central Bank is the most important step to winning a War On Terror.

GW: We don't intend to stop "terrorism." We're not making mistakes, we're pursuing policy. That's why we keep doing the same things over and over again. Because they work. Who gives up on a tactic that just keeps working?
Now, some may have been misled as to our true intentions. That would be somewhat understandable, as our true intentions are nearly the opposite of what we say they are. But our actions speak loudly, clearly, and consistently. Maintaining and securing an empire is dirty work. Nothing new about that.

'Terrorism' is a TACTIC - used by those lacking any real power to fight back on equal terms against a strong and dominant force. The tactics currently used to combat 'terrorism' only create MORE 'terrorists' - kill more innocent civilians with drone strikes than combatants and you create MORE peopel furious with you. Detain and torture innocent people and you create hatred that never existed before in those people. Some are SHOCKED that some GITMO detainees show up fighting the US after released? Really? Destroy a nation. loot its resources and walk away and you are surprised that those people hate you?

My personal opinion is that George Washington already knows the deeper truths, but he choses to present his arguments in ways which will have a wider readership of people who are still mostly mainstream morons. After all, in his article above, he did write:

I believe that George Washington is very well aware of the points which you made cynicalskeptic. However, in my view, the deeper "mistake," which is implicit in George Washington's otherwise excellent articles, is that he continues to NOT propose anything whatsoever that could replace the current systems of death controls, operated through the maximum possible deceits, with any better death control systems.
I already made similar points previously, such as in my response to The First Question to Ask After Any Terror Attack: Was It a False Flag? While the majority of Americans appear to continue to believe in the biggest bullies' bullshit, and do not appear to want to learn otherwise, a significant number of the readers of Zero Hedge have already assimilated your point, cynicalskeptic: "TPTB WANT perpetual war - and the never ending war on 'terrorism' insures just that." While I have no doubt that is the correct view, I continue to attempt to advance what I consider a deeper analysis of how and why that social situation has developed.
One of the primary presumptions that I make is that we are headed into times of Peak Insanities. Civilization is headed towards a series of psychotic breakdowns, primarily because the majority of people have been brainwashed to not understand, and not want to understand, the basic ways that their lives operated as entropic pumps of energy flows, which could best be described as operating according the principles and methods of organized crime. There was no “beginning” to that, but rather all animals were living like that since life began.
Human life enabled that to develop at an exponentially accelerating rate, due to the positive feedback loops of evolution acting upon themselves. While the basics never changed, the cultural system based upon that became systems of more or less organized lies operating robberies, which developed at an exponential rate throughout history, to become the current systems of legalized lies, backed by legalized violence, or the political economy based upon enforced frauds, whereby “money” was made out of nothing as debts, in order to “pay” for everything, while, actually, of course, nothing was being “paid” for by “money” made out of nothing!
In order to operate that fundamentally fraudulent financial accounting system, the vast majority of people had to develop attitudes of evil deliberate ignorance towards any relatively more objective facts, since the social realities that they were living inside of, and forced to accept and adapt to, were due to the social success of systems based on backing up lies with violence, whose successes drove society overall to become more criminally insane, the more socially successful those systems of enforced frauds became. Hence, the basic structure of social pyramid systems, based on enforced frauds, drove us towards building up the potential energy for severe social storms, and crazy collapses into chaos, since everything we were doing was always based on systems of lies backed by violence, and so, every economic decision was made through fundamentally fraudulent financial accounting systems!
That was how and why the dominating global empires used all the techniques outlined in the article above. On deeper levels, there are no ways out of that vicious spiral but to go through it. Those severe social storms can not be stopped from blowing through. Of course, those who have been perceiving that developing have been predicting it, with more or less accuracy, and attempting to wonder about how to perhaps be prepared for that. However, in my view, those problems are so extremely paradoxical as to make sufficient preparations practically impossible.
In my view, the basics were always that the natural resources of the planet were being strip-mined as fast as possible, as we were thereby high-grading ourselves to hell. However, each increment of being able to be socially successful by the immediate imperatives of backing up lies with violence continued to control what society actually did, which was turn natural resources into garbage and pollution as fast as possible, in ways which appeared as criminally insane, but which happened due to the immediate imperatives of being able to back up lies with violence controlling civilization. SUCH AS STARTING WARS WITH FALSE FLAG ATTACKS, AND THEN TAKING DELIBERATE ADVANTAGE OF THE CONSEQUENCES, TO PREPARE TO IMPOSE DEMOCIDAL MARTIAL LAW.
One of the deeper reasons why we did not do things any better, and still do not, is that we are deeply conditioned to not want to think about those realities, or to only think about them in ways which are as backwards as possible. Metaphorically speaking, The Powers That Be act like the Vicious Wolves, controlling their more Domesticated Dogs, to control the vast majority of Zombie Sheeple, amongst whom are some Black Sheeple that protest that. However, those Black Sheeple are mostly controlled opposition groups, who promote bogus "solutions" based on their opinion that everyone should become better Sheeple.
Generally speaking, it is difficult to comprehend the full magnitude of the paradoxes inherent in the nature of human life. I will attempt to point out that human realities are always organized lies operating robberies, while those who enjoy the most social success through doing that were those who were the best at being dishonest, and backing that up with violence. Please note that I NOT promoting any false fundamental dichotomies here, nor promoting any impossible ideals that the “solutions” are somehow to stop that from being the case. Rather, I am suggesting that we have to accept and embrace that, in order to more realistically deal with that.
Of course, it is sublimely, self-reflexively paradoxical how paradoxical that kind of recommendation is! Our entire civilization is based on thousands of years of backing up lies with violence, through social pyramid systems, wherein a relatively small minority specialized in backing up deceits with destruction, while the vast majority adapted to living inside of the slave society that was thereby created. At the present time, the only publicly significant groups are those operating the established systems, and their controlled opposition, BOTH of which are run by the best available professional liars and immaculate hypocrites.
The fundamental driving force has been that success in warfare was based upon backing up deceits with destruction, in which context spies were the most important soldiers, which gradually morphed, as information became more important that power, into systems of enforced frauds.
The fundamental facts did not change, but only got more and more sophisticated, for generation after generation. FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE RULING CLASSES, NONE OF THAT WAS EVER ANY KIND OF MISTAKE. Given that those are the basic SOCIAL FACTS, that social success was based on the degree to which people could best operate through backing up lies with violence, every economic decision ever made was being made inside of that context. The production of destruction always controlled production. The basics were that all private property was based upon backing up claims with coercions, while money was the most abstract form of that, since money is measurement backed by murder. However, the paradoxical ways that those systems of enforced frauds developed is that they were most socially successful the more that they were deliberately denied or ignored, or “explained” through bullshit, requiring massive lies by omission, which had a blind spot where those central SOCIAL FACTS were. After all, the lies are different at every level, through the apparently infinite tunnels of deceits that direct what human civilization actually does.
Human animals have always killed to live, and some humans have killed other humans in order to live. Those were always basic facts about how human beings existed as entropic pumps of energy flows, which developed extremely entangled social systems which operated their death controls through the maximum possible deceits, which then was the foundation for building a political economy based on the maximum possible frauds, which were able to rationalize and justify strip-mining the planet’s natural resources as fast as possible. We have mostly been turning the world’s real wealth into garbage and pollution as fast as possible, in ways which had terrible longer term consequences, which consequences we were approaching at an exponentially accelerating rate. However, when it comes to “solutions” to those problems, those continue to almost always still be proposed within the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies, and related impossible ideals, due to the ways that the only significant opposition groups tended to be controlled throughout history.
It is almost impossible to fully comprehend the magnitude of the paradoxes that civilization is controlled by the maximum possible deceits and frauds, because that also includes almost all of the bogus “solutions” that various people propose regarding those problems, which point of view was implicit in the title of the article above describing the methods of war having been based on "mistakes," when those were deliberate strategies and tactics.
Tragically, we have already driven debt slavery systems to generate numbers which have become debt insanities, which are going to provoke death insanities. Our fundamentally fraudulent financial accounting systems enabled us to operate through attitudes of evil deliberate ignorance towards what we were really doing, since, in every short-term increment, apparent social successes continued to appear to accrue to those who were the best at dishonesty and violence, or best at adapting to live inside of those social slavery systems. Meanwhile, we were collectively destroying ourselves, since we were actually behaving in overall criminally insane ways. Furthermore, the controlled opposition groups to those criminal insanities tended to have accepted that their own social successes were based upon then also staying within the same frame of reference of criminal insanity, which deliberately ignored and denied the basic facts of life as much as possible, in increasingly surreal ways.
In my view, it is practically impossible to exaggerate the degree to which the dominate natural languages were based on bullshit, and therefore, the ways that almost everyone thinks were developed on the basis of the social successes of the biggest bullies’ bullshit world view. That problem includes going through the heart of the mainstream philosophy of science, which suffered from being dominated by the biggest bullies’ bullshit world view the same as every other social enterprise did.
Inside that context, some people are penetrating into some of the deeper levels of more radical truths, which therefore tend to reveal the initially counter-intuitive insights, which are based on the history of society being directed by systems of lies backed by violence, whose success drove society to become more and more criminally insane, at an exponentially accelerating rate. In particular, strip-mining the planet’s natural resources as fast as possible, in ways which turned most of that into garbage and pollution, was regarded as a “good thing.”
It was possible to predict that civilization was headed towards going through some series of psychotic breakdowns, and that the first and foremost places that would show up were those whereby people related to the relatively more objective world through the accounting systems based on enforced frauds. Since petroleum resources had become the first and foremost of the natural resources that society depended upon being able to strip-mine, the psychotic breakdowns of those systems due to that process being directed through fundamentally fraudulent financial accounting systems could be confidently predicted to be the most important, or first and foremost ways, that the criminal insanities inherent in that social situation would finally manifest through various sorts of psychotic breakdowns. Since a large proportion of the most easy to extract oil was in the Middle East, the globalized, originally Western, empires have been doing more to attempt to control that region than anywhere else, through applying the standard techniques of warfare there.
From that perspective, it is not a surprise to me that someone who was able to begin to look at the real situation in more realistic ways, and paid attention to the best estimates of the relatively more objective facts, within that overall context, would then become able to make better predictions regarding the paths that we were really on, despite that kind of insight being radically different than that perceived by those who continued to not be able to think critically, but rather, continued to operate through having massive blind spots in their perceptions, whereby they would continue to engage in massive lying by omission, not only to everyone else, but also to themselves too!
The basic dilemma that the human species faces is that we have internalized natural selection as human intelligence, which has developed under the natural selection pressures to become cultural systems of artificial selection, based upon the social successes of deceits and frauds. In that context, it is practically impossible to exaggerate the degree to which we were lying to ourselves, and want to continue to lie to ourselves. NOT ONLY ARE THE ACTUAL DEATH CONTROL SYSTEMS OPERATED THROUGH THE MAXIMUM POSSIBLE DECEITS, BUT ALSO, ALL OF THE CONTROLLED OPPOSITION TO THOSE ESTABLISHED SYSTEMS CONTINUE TO MERELY DENOUNCE THAT, WITHOUT PROPOSING ANY BETTER DEATH CONTROL SYSTEMS.
Since the exponential growth of the human population and total of human activities powered by the developments of the industrial revolutions were based on being able to strip-mine the natural resources of a fresh planet, which exponential growth is drastically overshooting, towards causing itself to finally collapse into chaos, we are rapidly approaching times when there are necessarily going to drastic changes in the death control methods and the resulting death rates. In order to respond to that, the ruling classes are planning to mass murder the majority of the world's population, through more genocidal wars, along with democidal martial law. Those look like the ONLY things that they have actually prepared to do, and the main ways that they have advanced that agenda was through a series of false flag attacks, such as the extreme example of the events on 9/11/2001. Since 9/11 was the most spectacular symbol, so far, various people's opinions regarding that may be viewed as a sort of "litmus test" for their overall political opinions.
As I have stated many times before, George Washington's articles appear to be skillfully surfing the edge of what kind of information can be presented to the mainstream morons, but that requires George Washington to continue to operate within the frame of reference of a reactionary revolutionary. Of course, it is impossible for me to know what he personally thinks, other than from what he publishes. But nevertheless, it appears clear to me that for enough Americans to finally decide that 9/11 was an inside job, false flag attack, would have consequences beyond our ability to currently comprehend! It takes some profound paradigm shifts regarding their perception of politics for most mainstream morons to understand the point that you made, cynicalskeptic, that "TPTB WANT perpetual war - and the never ending war on 'terrorism' insures just that."
Moreover, in my opinion, virtually all of the publicly significant groups attempting to do educate the majority of political idiots continue to be reactionary revolutionaries, who oppose the existing death control systems based on deceits, which are therefore automatically becoming more criminally insane every day, BUT NEVER PRESENT ANY DEEPER LEVELS OF UNDERSTANDING HOW AND WHY THAT SOCIAL SITUATION EXISTS, WHICH WOULD PROVIDE RESOLUTIONS OF THAT THROUGH BETTER DEATH CONTROLS.
Such a way of thinking can not be achieved through continuing to use the same old-fashioned false fundamental dichotomies, and related impossible ideals. Rather than those DUALITIES, we should change our paradigms towards using UNITARY MECHANISMS. Such changes in the ways that we think would require intellectual scientific revolutions throughout the philosophy of science, which particularly applied to political science, and especially to combined money/murder systems.
The Powers That Be developed the most expedient sets of solutions to some of the chronic political problems inherent in the nature of life. However, there can not be any genuinely better sets of solutions which do not resolve those chronic political problems in better ways, the core of which must necessarily be better death controls. However, under the current social pyramids systems, the death controls are operated through the maximum possible deceits, while the controlled opposition groups stay within the same frame of reference.

We are rushing at an exponential rate towards the paradox of final failure from too much success at controlling civilization through systems of lies backed by violence, which manifest as all the apparent "mistakes" outlined in the article above. However, militarism is NOT a mistake. Rather, it was the history of how expedient solutions to the problems inherent in the nature of human life developed.
As long as we continue to think that death controls are "mistakes," and should not exist at all, or should not be operated in any way that human beings are conscious of doing, then those attitudes will continue to backfire badly in the real world. We need to make political science become more consistent with physical and biological science. That requires a profound series of paradigm shifts in militarism, in order to be able to understand and operate the death control systems in radically different ways. It is NOT enough to begin to understand how the real death controls actually work through the maximum possible deceits about themselves. It is necessary to go beyond that!

Having more of the best and brightest in our social group indirectly maximizes survival of our individual DNA (our children) or those we know are beneficial to the group when we're gone. It also maximizes our happiness, comfort and satisfaction. Choosing healthy, intelligent, moral and empathetic individuals to organize or lead our social groups is a natural extension of that. Even a child recognizes the logic of this.
It is unhealthy, aberrant and anti-survival to chose evil people to lead our groups (or even allow them to exist in our social groups). Evil = lack of empathy = psychopaths. It is anti-survival to WANT to be controlled for someone else's personal benefit or pick leaders that will result in that condition. It is anti-survival to be unhappy, oppressed and exploited.
You're describing what amounts to an anti-survival pathology as some kind of normal, natural, inevitable condition. I'll humbly suggest that this is a huge part of our current problem. We're not identifying diseased individuals and diseased societies as diseased. We're not recognizing psychopathy as an infectious disease that needs to be controlled and contained. It's not 'normal' and it's not part of who we are as healthy human beings. We develop increasing levels of tolerance for its existence and look for the wrong solutions.

Of course, Paveway IV, I am familiar with your point of view. After all, I have been developing my kinds of use of language to discuss these sorts of problems for several decades, long, long before I started to post my kinds of comments on Zero Hedge!
One way of looking at it is the short-term versus the long-term.
The problem with the death controls, which reach their apex with some people attempting to kill other people, before those other people kill them first, is that there is NO "long-term," if one is killed first, which is why the oldest book on The Art of War starts by saying "success in war is based on deceits," and ends by saying "spies are the most important soldiers."
Although it tended to be that smaller groups of people, who lived in the same environment for thousands of years, would develop cultures that adapted to survive through that longer term selection process, the dominant cultures in the world today were those who rampaged around the planet destroying and assimilating all of those previously stable cultures. The short-term imperatives of successful warfare wiped out all of the better survival strategies which would over the long-term.
The history of warfare is what selected for the most psychopathic and sociopathic people to dominate social pyramid systems, based on backing up lies with violence. The runaway triumphs of the application of the methods of organized crime to dominate civilization are the problems that we are looking at, which are manifested through the "7 mistakes," as listed in the article above. From the point of view of militarism, or the ideology of the murder system, those are not "mistakes," rather those are successful strategies and tactics.
Of course, within the larger context of possible longer term survival of the human species, we are collectively preparing to commit suicide because our civilization is being dominated by the most criminally insane, psychopathic and sociopathic people possible, who were selected to make and maintain social pyramid systems based on being able to back up lies with violence. However, I continue to insist that there ARE chronic political problems inherent in the nature of life, which MUST be resolved somehow.
I do not agree with the expedient sets of solutions developed by the ruling classes, through the history of development of the fractal patterns of organized crime, which have gotten bigger, faster, at an exponential rate throughout the history of Neolithic Civilizations. However, any better set of solutions MUST still have death controls at the core. In my view, the main reasons why we are stuck in a suicidal dead end development of death controls based on the maximum possible deceits, is that the only opposition to those established systems is controlled to stay within the same bullshit frame of reference about that.
What I am suggesting is that we need radical changes in the ways that we understand natural selection, which would then be manifested in the ways that we could operate our systems of artificial selection. Of course, natural selection must have life first, or else there are no death controls to direct the evolution of that life. Natural selection can be seen to operate both true birth controls, as well as real death controls. That can be seen as being both "life controls" as well as "death controls."
However, the ways that we think about that are almost totally channeled by the biggest bullies' bullshit social stories, promoting false fundamental dichotomies, and related impossible ideals, rather than through unitary mechanisms, and related more realistic ideals. It is almost impossible to exaggerate the degree to which the language that we use tends to be BACKWARDS, and therefore, all attempts at political debates appear to become terminally confusing.
For instance, most of what we call "birth controls" are actually "death controls." From a biological point of view, life does not begin at birth. Rather, life alternates generations. Preventing conception is actually a form of death control. Obviously, abortions are forms of death control, which have been euphemistically described as forms of "birth control," because they do control birth, but by killing that which otherwise be born.
"Philosophy and the humanities" need to be present, but first need to become transformed in ways which enable them to be better reconciled with the advances made in physics and biology. Indeed, science could not become a better liberating force unless the philosophy of science was better liberated first, because most of the established philosophy of science was also a victim of the biggest bullies' bullshit world view, the same as every other social enterprise ended up being dominated by systems of lies backed by violence.
In that context, Paveway IV, you are making good points, but those points could not actually be successful promoted unless they were transformed in ways whereby they could be integrated within the overall context of militarism being the supreme ideology, because the death controls were the most important short-term controls. Of course, the life controls are more important, over the longer term. However, unless we can develop ways to make better death controls in the short-term, then there are no real paths towards actually developing better life controls.
At present, we are defaulting to having the death control systems operate through the maximum possible deceits, which prop up the debt controls being based on the maximum possible frauds, within which context the most psychopathic and sociopathic people are becoming the most socially successful. However, in my view the only genuinely better solutions which are actually possible must become better death controls, which should be developed so that they are in better service to the life controls. However, like I said, the basic problems are due to the successes of the short-term imperatives so totally dominating society that the longer term considerations have been rendered moot. Overall, the kind of civilization that we are inside of now is destroying the future, and the younger and poorer you are, the more the future for you is being destroyed by the decisions being made by rich, old people.
Tragically, at the present time, the biggest bullies' world view is so totally dominant, that there is barely any publicly significant opposition than various controlled opposition groups, whose promotion of impossible ideals always actually continues to make the opposite happen in the real world. It is impossible to exaggerate the degree to which the biggest bullies' bullshit world view dominates the currently established dominate philosophy of science, as well as all the dominate natural languages. Therefore, it is practically impossible to have any more rational public discussions about the basic issues which must exist in the culture of artificial selection systems, because those always existed in the natural selection systems.
I do my best, to attempt to use the English language, as well as other more stylized languages of sciences, to endeavour to discuss these issues in ways which emphasize more radical truths. I usually agree with the goals of those who promote various bogus "solutions" based on impossible ideals, however, I think that they are understanding the mechanisms BACKWARDS, and therefore, their proposed "solutions" are still bullshit-based, that end up causing the opposite to happen the real world, because they are still mostly controlled opposition, despite that they usually do not fully understand that enough!
Ever since I was a teenager, several decades ago, I have been working on ways to possibly operate the death control systems after the development of weapons of mass destruction. The basic problem with politics is that there are no realistic ways to stop that being controlled by the self-actualizing applications of the methods of organized crime, in order to capture control of the political processes.
Hence, the "7 mistakes" keep on being made because the deeper problems of the funding of politics have not been resolved. The best organized gangs of criminals already dominate the government, and the mass media, and the school systems. Furthermore, almost all the alleged opposition is controlled. Therefore, I made points that I made above in my previous comments, that it would necessarily take better organized crime, operating better death controls, in order to actually change the pattern of repeating the "7 mistakes" over and over and over again!
It is NOT good enough to promote the impossible ideals that there ought to be no death control systems, or none that human beings were conscious of operating! That is the classic response of the mainstream morons, or reactionary revolutionaries, who begin to become aware of the realities that the existing death controls are being done through the maximum possible deceits about themselves. However, more radical truths about the death controls can NOT be based on impossible ideals that no death controls ought to exist at all.
The vicious spirals of militarism, as the ideology of the murder systems, cannot be fixed without better understanding how and why those were selected by human history to become dominant, because over and over and over again, the short-term imperatives trumped any and all long-term considerations. IF we were to develop systems which could survive better through the longer term, then we are going to have to develop better ways to cope with the reasons that the short-term realities have become almost totally triumphant, by developing mechanisms which could deal more directly with that situation.
The first step towards doing that is to develop a different use of language, to enable a different way of perceiving those problems, which may enable different set of solutions to those problems. The basics continue to be the imperatives to develop profound paradigm shifts in the ways that we understand politics, so that those could be applied to the combined money/murder systems. That is what I was pointing towards in my comment above.

What does "death" mean if energy can neither be created nor destroyed? What happens if one tries to take the principle of the conservation of energy as seriously as possible? In my view, Energy is Spirit. The basic concept that my entire philosophy is based upon, which therefore includes my political philosophy, is SUBTRACTION. In my view, understanding that concept is the core to the creative synthesis of ancient mysticism with post-modernizing science. Therefore, my view is that people tend to understand "death controls" backwards. It is not merely that the actually established death control systems have been developed to be done with the most social successes through the maximum possible deceits and treacheries, but also that people then tend to understand what "better" death controls would be in the maximum possible backward ways too.
The rulings classes have always waged a war against the consciousness of those they ruled over, and unfortunately have been way too successful at doing that! The majority of people do not understand the elementary principles of philosophy, nor have developed more genuine spirituality. However, those forms of enlightenment would be necessary, IF we were ever going to develop better death controls.
