Jeff Gundlach's 2015 Market Outlook: "V" - Live Webcast

Tyler Durden's picture

With Bill Gross still in cross-asset limbo, it appears the undisputed fixed income crown, for now, goes to DoubleLine's Jeffrey Gundlach who recently opined, "something is not right." Shortly, the monarch of money markets will be discussing the economy, the markets and his outlook 2015, in his latest webcast titled, rather ominously, "V". Given Gundlach's recent concerns about the "health of the economy and financial system," we suspect the V-for-Vendetta climax anology may well be more what he had in mind...

The crash in the oil market is already causing jitters in the financial markets around the globe. What is your take on that?

Oil is incredibly important right now. If oil falls to around $40 a barrel then I think the yield on ten year treasury note is going to 1%. I hope it does not go to $40 because then something is very, very wrong with the world, not just the economy. The geopolitical consequences could be – to put it bluntly – terrifying.

He is not bullish!!

How the fuck can he not know that something is "terribly wrong with the world?"

Seriously, this shit isn't that hard.

Who cares about the big picture? Nobody really knows so just concentrate on these massive swings.  This guy is the best I have ever seen with 7-21 days predictions.

I didn't get a chance to hear his voice. Just got home.

I wonder:

Could this be 'V', the 'Guerilla Economist'?  The same one who Steve Quayle knows?

Probably NOT, I think. Gundlach probably copied the meme after hearing him.

Hey, Jeffrey: The best investment strategies have nothing to do paper 'assets' at this point in our history.

I just found a company offering 600-round boxes of coated 62 grain A.P. .223 for less than 200 feds per. MILSPEC stuff. DAMN good price. I'm doing mods on the Mosin Nagant right now. Have a couple of 'close-range' PPD's as well. Food and Water are in plentiful supply (for the moment). If oil dips below $40 per BBL and stays for any length of time, there will be a real possibility of an actual 'bloodbath' throughout the western 'economies' (not just some 'economic consequences'). HELL, it'll be that way in the EASTERN economies as well (like it's not already starting... look at Argentina and Venezuela and Spain and France and the Ukraine and Greece and a great deal of African nations and...). Of course, no 'occidental' actually sees and knows what's going on in CHINA, but it doesn't look very good. I see that there's a manhunt going on for another 'probably' dead banker in SoCal right now. AIG, this time. They caught him on the golf course:

     Good luck, Jeffrey.
