They can lead all they want but they are not going to followed and as for enthusiasm...it is (again fortunately) lacking. More Americans doubt the government now than in the Viet Nam era as I see it...and we were pretty split on Viet Nam. Now it is not a matter of being split on opinion, there are simply very few Americans who wholeheartedly support anything the government is doing. Those who directly benefit from some programs support those programs but there is no grand plan that the USA may ha e that is widely supported....nothing...
