French Comedian Arrested Over Sympathizing With Charlie Hebdo Killer

Tyler Durden's picture

Yesterday we discussed the crackdown on 'extremism' around the world (and its potential implications for freedom). Today, as The Guardian reports, notorious French comedian Dieudonné M’bala M’bala is now intimately aware of the implications, having been arrested for being an “apologist for terrorism” after suggesting on Facebook that he sympathised with one of the Paris gunmen.

As The Independent reports, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls attacked Dieudonné, calling him a "peddler of hate and said there should be no confusion between the 'impertinent' satire of Charlie Hebdo and 'anti-semitism, racism and negationism'."

In an open letter, the comedian claimed on Tuesday that he had been misunderstood.

The comedian made international headlines in 2013 when French footballer Nicolas Anelka was banned for five matches by English football authorities for using a gesture created by Dieudonné that many consider to echo the Nazi salute.

His original statement on his Facebook page was as follows:

“After this historic, no legendary, march, a magic moment equal to the Big Bang which created the Universe, or in a smaller (more local) way comparable to the crowning of the (ancient Gaullish king) Vercingétorix, I am going home. Let me say that this evening, as far as I am concerned, I feel I am Charlie Coulibaly."

What he had meant to say on Facebook, he said, was that "I am considered like another Amedy Coulibaly when in fact I am no different from Charlie."

He did not remember any ending to his interrogation. There was a period of blackness and then the cell, or room, in which he now was had gradually materialized round him. He was almost flat on his back, and unable to move. His body was held down at every essential point. Even the back of his head was gripped in some manner. O'Brien was looking down at him gravely and rather sadly. Under his hand there was a dial with a lever on top and figures running round the face.

next will be the boot on the face.....

Why no mention of the missed shot on the sidewalk guy? Looks like he was spared for some reason. They had to cut it off cause you could see the round hit the concrete, instead of his head.  Blind bliss.

Apparently, I missed the trial of the suspects, or did the French dispense with that whole innocent until proven guilty nonsense?

Maybe they mean he was arrested for being an apologist for a suspected terrorist?

Why have a trial?

Dead men tell no tales.

It is pretty obvious that these two guys, with their faces covered, and the badass full-auto shooting skills, are clealry the same two young men with no military training that turned up dead.

Right?

My french isn't great, but I believe the actual law says, roughly, "Thou shalt not question the official narrative of the State."

As someone that has fired an AK-47, full auto, I can attest that the group in the police windshield takes a tremendous amount of training and skill, even at very close range.  The fact that it isn't tracing up and over the roof tells me all I need to know about the operator...he is a professional killer.

can somebody please do a hardcore computer analysis of the men in the video for height and weight and compare the stats to the two brothers claimed to be the shooters??? From all the mug shots I've seen the two dead brothers looked pretty skinny in relative terms to these guys, plus Algerians don't tend to be 6 feet tall and 215 lbs as these guys appear to be? especially when in their 20's and realtively poor

Au contraire, mutual understanding is increasing.  For the pigheaded Muslims, their position is 'Convert or die'.  For the French, it is a test of who can run the fastest (no rifle drop needed).  In the USA, if you tell me I can't have free speech, you'll have to come and take it away.  Mutual understanding is increasing. It's what happens next that is interesting.

The Zio-media declared two brothers to be the culprits, because one allegedly left a passport in a car, there is not a single hard evidence and (almost) EVERYONE is believing it, ALTHOUGH just weeks ago MH17 had happened and the sheeple should have learned a thing or two (if 9/11 is outside their capabilities to remember).

This whole thing is hardly aobut some facebook comment.

For Americans who don't recognize the name, M'Bala M'Bala (known as Mahmoud) Dieudonne is a French comedian and human rights activist that skewers Zionism and the powerful French Jewish lobbyists in many of his comedic acts. He's censored in the French media and banned all over France, but is still qute popular there. He is quick to point out the hypocracy of comedy directed at Muslims being tolerated, but never any directed at Jews or Israel.

This is a five-part YouTube clip of one of his recent shows in French with English subtitles if you're curious. Provacative of course in a George Carlin kind of way, but hardly a threat to all mankind. French comedy is a bit slower-paced and 'different' to most Americans, so it's probably pretty keyboard/monitor safe.

It's exactly these kind of performances that make French authorities eager to pounce on Dieudonne for anything. The Facebook comment was an exceptionally weak reason but when you have the Jewish lobby in a lather, you can expect a knock at the door from the French Stazi. I'm surprised they haven't offed Dieudonne by now.

I can't tell from the pic of the shooters, but just looking at the two you posted, it is possible they were firing AK-74s, which are very similar, but fire a 5.45 and have hardly any recoil. If you keep your firing arm tucked in, you can get some really sweet, tight shot groups. On other surfaces, the holes would appear small, but it is almost certain that because they are hitting glass, it gives the appearance of a larger 7.62 round of a 47. The poor audio and the presence of walls and buildings make it very difficult to get any kind of feel for the sound. It doesn't help either that there is no return fire from a known weapon for comparison. I simply cannot determine which rifle it is from the footage I have just seen.

Sure, maybe I am reading too much into it, but both rifles are very similar, and I simply do not trust the media to get something simple like that right.

I hate watching snuff films or war porn. Usually it is those who have never stared at the elephant that like to see them. Nevertheless, I just saw this video, and I am not so sure about their bad-ass firing skills. The guy on the right is doing really bad instinctive fire, with no flex in his legs at all. The other guy actually has his rifle up to his face, (or at least is aligning down the barrel) but is also stiff-legged. Maybe they were excited, but they were not moving well, not covering sectors, and straight-up flagging the hell out of each other. Pretty fucking sloppy for a pair of pros. They are standing in the middle of the street, firing down the road like idiots. You do that in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Syria, or anywhere else (Paris excluded apparently) and you won't last three seconds. Their habits and instincts suck, and they do not move like trained killers at all.

I do not know if this is the same car, but in this video, when they were firing at the cop car, they were firing single shots, not auto bursts!. If this is the case, then I am truly impressed with whoever put that shot group on the left, because the car was unevenly moving away from them as they continued to fire single shots. BTW, they were slow to exit their car and fire.

Of course, the cop getting it in the head (from either caliber) would have splattered blood and/or tissue against the sidewalk. It would have contrasted sharply with the flat, light gray surface.

There is much more that can be said, but it really wouldn't matter, would it?

Well, if you think that is good shooting and moving, go right on believing it. It really makes no difference to me; the video speaks for itself.

How about the single-shot vs auto burst on the cop car?

If the video shows what happened to the cop car in the picture you posted, there were no auto bursts.

Any thoughts?

Zionism was supported by the German SS and Gestapo.[3] [4] [5] [6] Hitler himself personally supported Zionism.[7] [8] During the 1930's, in cooperation with the German authorities, Zionist groups organized a network of some 40 camps throughout Germany where prospective settlers were trained for their new lives in Palestine. As late as 1942 Zionists operated at least one of these officially authorized "Kibbutz" training camps[9] over which flew the blue and white banner which would one day be adopted as the national flag of "Israel".[10]

Yes and No. Hitler had no plan to exterminate the Jews (only expell them, with Palestine as his prefered destination) in the 1930s. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem however had repeatedly supported genocide against the Jews and when he moved to Berlin (1941) he had meetings with Hitler, Himmler and Ribbentrop and came to an agreement that the Jews would not go to anywhere in the Middle East (al-Husseini wanted all Jews out of the Middle East, including the Arab Jews, by any means). As the Germans didn't want the Jews in Europe and the muslims didn't want them in the Middle East it left extermination (the Final Solution) as the final solution on the table of options.

What if, oh, say 70% of the population experienced their most complex thoughts when contemplating a football outcome and could express those thoughts in 140 characters?  What would "Free speech" mean to them other than the right not to have their opinions made fun of by other internet users?

Yes. At some point, the Protocols were updated after Mass Media came into existance.

It's obvious who is corrupting and destroying America, but the sheep have been blindfolded.

The International Termite does not rest. He works in shifts.

He spies relentlessly on America, his "ally."

He attacks US warships and Murders US Sailors in cold blood in order to cover for a War.

He steals nuclear secrets, builds an arms stockpile and denies everything.

Who is the 'enemy?'

I dare say it is not the Mohammedans, but The Zionist, the spawn of Hell.

“Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel,” “In Israel, death has no dominion over them… With gentiles, it will be like any person – they need to die, but [God] will give them longevity.

Why? Imagine that one’s donkey would die, they’d lose their money. This is his servant… That’s why he gets a long life, to work well for this Jew. Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world; only to serve the People of Israel.

Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat,” Rabbi Ovadia Yosef October-18-2010 during his weekly Saturday night sermon on the laws regarding the actions non-Jews are permitted to perform on Shabbat. The crowd responded with laughter.

Back when the printing press was still free, in the 17th century, they said there were 500 weekly newspapers in London alone!  500!!!

Independent.  Censorship in those days must have been tough, hence why there has been so much consolidation, so that as stated almost all media is now owned by one of 6 (supposedly distinct and separate) corporations.

just a few decades ago in the USA, there were something like 5000 independent media outlets, now there are six.

5000 >> 6

Freedom of speech is a red herring. A canard. The USA has a monolithic zionist media.

Now for a blast from the past[1865]. Take your time donkeys so it all sinks in. Look up indefatigable if you need to:

“With Gold one can buy the most upright consciences, with Gold one can fix the value of every stock, the price of every merchandise, one can loan it to states that afterwards one holds at ones mercy.

“Already the principle banks, the stock exchanges throughout the world, the loans to all governments are in our hands.

“The other great power is the press. By ceaselessly repeating certain ideas, the press in the end makes them considered as truths. The Theatre renders similar services, every where theater and press follow our directives.

By an indefatigable campaign in favor of the democratic form of government,

we will divide the Gentiles amongst themselves in political parties,

we shall thus destroy the unity of their nations,

we will sow the seeds of discord.

Powerless they will have to accept the laws of our bank, always united, always devoted to our cause.”

I don't care as much where the remarks were made as where the rabbi hails from.  You seem to imply he was Chechen.

You know that the folks who claimed to be Jews (and still do) came from (mostly) Czechoslovakia, Ukraine and Georgia, right?

Most Jews are good people, as are Islamists, Christians, Buddhists and Coptics.

However, Judaism- for reasons I don't know, has been hijacked and used as a sort of shield for the khazar mafia (don't ask me to explain this- if ya' don't know what khazars are, look it up).

Want you to know that this rant is meant to agree Fun Facts, and to clarify for others.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who allows a middleman between him/herself and their God/Creator is a confirmed idiot.

This calls into question the Christ, the Prophet, the Buddha, and a shitload of of other Dieities people have worshipped.

Which one is the one true God?  IMHO, none of them, nor did they intend to be.

I fully read the story and the text Dieudonné wrote just right after this tweet, he simply says that he is an humorist making fun of lot of things, like Charlie Hebdo is doing his own way.

But in the same time, he is pointed out by governement and prime minister Emanuel Valls, as the number 1 public enemy because of the content of his writings and show.

So he feels also a bit like this 2 days first enemy of the french nation name Coulibaly!

Dieudonne is well-known for his attacks on the Establishment and the Zionists are glad to be able to tar brush him with anti-Semitism. Charlie Hebdo Slaughter: Tragic Lesson for Europe to Learn

Quote:

"A great number of information warfare experts work hard to shape the image of enemy among Europeans. Charlie Hebdo, the Paris-based weekly satirical publication, has a special role to play in this campaign. Its main instrument is anti-religious provocation disguised as freedom of expression.

"Founded in 1970 by left-wing journalists as an outlet of «revolutionary criticism», it folded to be resurrected in 1992 when Philippe Val became its editor-in chief. He is a follower of Zionist Bernard-Henri Lévy, the French philosopher with Zionist leanings, who was actively involved in the events in Libya and, then, Ukraine. Since then Charlie Hebdo has been mocking the religious feelings of Muslims and Catholics. "

The Cartoons Outlawed in France: L’affaire Charlie Hebdo and Western Colonialism.

By John V. Walsh

January 14, 2015

To understand the attack on Charlie Hebdo in Paris last week, we need only invert George W. Bush’s 2005 mantra*, thus: “They will continue to attack us over here so long as we slaughter them by the millions over there.” …

excerpt:

The killings in Paris, horrific as they are, are but pinpricks compared to the vast devastation visited by the West on the Muslim world and indeed on most of the planet over the last centuries of colonialism and neocolonialism which has brought humiliation, genocide and grinding poverty to entire continents – and continues to do so.

What has been the response in the West to the attacks in Paris?  On what do the apologists for Empire focus in the wake of this act of vengeance for the neocolonialism of the West against the Arab and Muslim world?  With utter contempt for history and context, the pundits discuss freedom of speech as the central issue.  Freedom of speech in France where it is a criminal offense to “deny” the Holocaust of European Jews.  Where an anti-semitic remark, even one overheard in a bistro, can land one in considerable trouble, with loss of one’s job and a fine.  Where an offhanded comment cost a writer at Charlie Hebdo his job because it was deemed anti-Semitic.  Where the predecessor to Charlie Hebdo, Hari-Kiri Hebdo, was banned decades back when it took a swipe at Charles DeGaulle, just after his death, resulting in its rechristening itself as Charlie Hebdo on reopening.   And where anti-Islamic insults in the mass media are just fine.

The most effective riposte to the canard that the attack on Charlie was an attack on freedom of the press has come from Glenn Greenwald in his piece entitled “In Solidarity With A Free Press.  Some More Blasphemous Cartoons.”   It is illustrated with some of the anti-Islamic hate cartoons that graced the pages of Charlie – along with a number of others whose publication would be a criminal offense in France and elsewhere in the West.  Be sure to scroll all the way down.   The piece should go viral, because the cartoons alone taken in sequence expose the hypocrisy of the Western punditocracy and its masters.   They object to some of the cartoons but not others (the first two), whereas one should object to them all, except for the last eight by the Brazilian cartoonist Latuff.   Read, look and think.  There is genuine fear in the West when it comes to publishing this essay because its points are piercing indeed, imperiling the bubble of hypocrisy.

On then to the grand march on Sunday in Paris, a march which Justin Raimondo rightly calls “March of the Hypocrites.”  As Raimondo points out, there are many dimensions to this hypocrisy, but the most deserving of ridicule is perhaps the heinous record that most of the “world leaders” present have when it comes to freedom of the press.  A partial compilation of their abuses of the press has been assembled by Daniel Wickham, a student at the London School of Economics, titled “These ‘staunch defenders’ of the free press are attending today’s solidarity rally in Paris.”

The consequences of the Charlie Hebdo affair are all too certain.  It will strengthen the hand of those who are clamoring for more military involvement by the Empire in the Middle East. ...

But this reaction may yet prove the undoing of the Empire.  For the U.S., already gone mad with imperial arrogance and over-reach, is being goaded to further frenzy by its client, the apartheid state of Israel, a European colonial settler state itself.  Hence the U.S. is becoming ever more stuck to the Middle Eastern tar baby. ...
