When I see the results of polls like the one below, I realize there is no chance the majority will do anything to reverse the course of our nation in terminal decline. It will take a complete collapse and bloody reset before we have a chance at putting this country back on a sustainable rational course.
How the fuck can Americans actually think terrorism should be Obama and Congress’ top priority? Are Americans really that stupid? WTF do they want Obama and Congress to do? Double the DHS budget? Increase electronic surveillance on our communications? Give local police more military hardware? Ban guns? Repeal the 4th Amendment?
Do the ignorant masses know their actual chances of being killed by a terrorist? To say the chances are astronomically miniscule is an understatement. See for yourself:

Lately the TEEVEE has been hounding me non-stop to get a flu shot (I haven't taken one in 6 years). Several times a day the "news" reporters are there swearing that this this flu season is the absolute worst of all...and I is scared.

Anthropologically speaking, you can stop worrying and just opt for the Athropological school of thinking that asserts you can take the natural immunity side of the debate and tell the Biological Behaviourists to stay on their side of the Chuch on herd immunity via a flu shot. Theoretically, the chances of actually catching something is very remote statistically.
If one falls into the young or old cohorts, or are immunologically compromised/deficient, then, you might want to consult your GP.
Otherwise, if you are feeling relatively healthy, you need not worry whatsoever.

Funny thing is, I heard on the radio the other day a list of things people are worried about for 2015 and terrorism was dead last on the list. I guess it all depends on who is doing the polling and what their agenda is. That said, I have no doubt that fucking us all over under the guise of keeping us safe from terrorism is the top priority of TPTB. Well, it works like this. Someone pays to have a push poll done to show that Americans are more worried about terrorism than anything else. This fraudulent poll becomes the justification for a massive increase in DHS funding, police militarization, death merchant (defense contractor) contracts, etc.
The problem is when credulous bloggers believe that such polls have a basis in reality. Thus, they decry the stupidity of the American public, abandon hope and hunker down in their Y2K caves waiting for the end.
May I humbly suggest that instead of believing polls and sitting alone to write our screeds, we go out, engage our neighbors and build a better world?

Well the NEWS story was about how the triple cheeseburger was coming back to some 3500 select McDonald's!!!! None in my neck of the woods but none the less THIS IS NEWS. WTF are you kidding me? Next "story" was how researchers in Chicago were warning parents about kids eating to much pizza, sodium and fat content ya know, especially fast food pizza. Strange but McDonald's headquarters is right outside Chicago.

The poll results are likely skewed high toward terrorism due to the recent Hebdo attacks. So what does that tell you about the Average American's attention span, intellect, and gullibility? No worries though, Thursday is a big sitcom/reality TV night, and they will all forget about terrorism by Friday morning.

I've never met a terrorist, but let me say this. I would not be much afraid to walk right up to a terrorist and have a frank conversation (even though I'm quite sure they would strongly disagree with me about pretty much everything).
And when I say "not much afraid", the small concern I would have is the prospect of a predator drone killing me on the spot, or sometime later just because the predators-that-be had information that I had once been in proximity to someone who might be considered to have some potential connection with someone involved in terrorism in some way or other.
BTW, unless this poll was massively, enormously, astronomically biased somehow, what could possibly convince someone living in the USSA more completely that... they better leave, and the sooner the better!
