Guest Post: Organizing Against Tyranny
Submitted by Brandon Smith of Alt-Market blog,
My work and my thoughts lately have turned toward a now constant focus on the concepts of organization, more in respect to underlying philosophy rather than hard, fast rules and structures. If you are one of the slithering acolytes of political theory elitist Saul Alinsky (and you haven’t felt the inclination to jump face first into the nearest punji pit), then the primary tool of organization for you is to lie, and to lie often. Tricking people into action using false premises, telling people what they want to hear rather than opening their eyes to reality, is perhaps the easiest way to build a movement. Of course, that movement will eventually destroy itself as the lies begin to inhibit progress rather than inspire it. But in most cases, by the time the organization self-destructs it has already been exploited for the nefarious purpose it was intended.
For the liberty movement, the movement against globalization and forced centralization of financial and political power, lies are simply not an option. The internationalists have already cornered the market on lies, so we must take a completely contrary approach. We must organize around the truth, no matter how painful it happens to be. This is a much more difficult prospect, one many people don’t understand or appreciate.
There are a lot of complaints in the movement about the lack of what they consider effective organization, and the frustration is in some ways beginning to evolve into fear. Here are some core inconsistencies I believe are at the heart of organizational problems within the liberty movement and what we can do to solve them.
Re-examining Our Concept Of Real Organization
For multiple generations, Americans and most of the rest of the world have been conditioned to believe that organization is a top-down affair that requires a central leadership that hands orders across the ranks of a rigid structure. The people within the structure operate as parts of a greater machine, and the success of the machine is (supposedly) directly related to how close the smaller parts (people) work together and follow those orders. Unfortunately, many activists in the liberty movement also assume that this is what an organization is and how it works.
Surely, there is a need for people with a talent to inspire others to thought and to action. But these men and women are nothing unless they can motivate individuals to eventually take their own initiative without orders. A true leader is a teacher — nothing more. And if he really cares about the future prosperity of the people he is teaching, that teacher’s objective will be for his students to exceed his own capabilities and to become independent in their accomplishments.
For a movement driven by a desire for the preservation of freedom and sovereignty, organization requires structure, but not rigidity or centralized leadership. The collectivist model of the human machine or hive is a flawed model that oppresses individual contributions that could be revolutionary. The corporate model, for instance, is a perfect example of an organization built mostly on lies (just look at the inconsistencies of real debts versus real profits for most major companies) and that fuels itself on the integration of people as replaceable gears and bolts on a rusted, shuddering Ferris wheel ride. Corporations might appear to make money, but they never meet their ultimate potential as organizations because most of the people within them could not care less about the purpose or even health of the system as long as they continue to draw a paycheck. When an organization merely limps along on the thin thread of the survival principle, this is the opposite of success.
The liberty movement has to abandon outmoded and ill-conceived notions of mainstream organizational models and take more stock in decentralized activity. A lack of an arbitrarily designated pecking order or the pyramid scheme of top-down branching management is a good thing for our cause, not a disadvantage.
Legitimate Structure And Purpose
Just because a movement is decentralized does not mean it should lack a foundation, and that foundation should be composed of a primary purpose and a primary plan of action. This is where some liberty activists seem to become most nihilistic in their thinking.
They have been looking for top-down leadership, which doesn’t exist and shouldn’t exist. They have been looking for a set plan of attack, which no one can seem to agree on. And they moan relentlessly about what they see as the lack of a singular, universal vision of what the ultimate goal should be. I have heard the argument more than once that the liberty movement will fail because victory would require us to all agree on one ideological vision and a rather singular strategy. What they don’t appear to realize is that a vision and strategy already exist that most of us agree on.
Again, our society has been conditioned to see through only a very narrow window of what constitutes organization that demands we adhere to the top-down philosophy. However, most liberty activists already agree on the bottom-up goal of self-reliance and self-sufficiency in all things, from food and water to education, security and governance.
There will be no mass majority movement on Washington in a “V for Vendetta”-style march led by some heroic masked man. And even if there were, it would accomplish nothing unless the top of the globalist pyramid was toppled (Occupy Wall Street is a good example of how such theatrics fail). This goal of a mass awakening is a common fantasy and an impractical one; but self-sufficiency, mutual aid and mutual defense are realistic efforts, given the likely short amount of time we have left. The universal vision is right in front of our faces and always has been: to break away from the corrupt mainstream system, to remove our dependency, to provide our own necessities and, thus, to remove our consent.
Every liberty proponent in America should be able to pursue this goal without prompting from any centralized leadership, and it encompasses every aspect of the fight against tyranny. Make your family self-sufficient and secure without aid of government. Make your neighborhood self-sufficient and secure. Make your town or county self-sufficient and secure. If the elites try to stop you, fight back and from a position on the moral high ground. If enough communities defend themselves the prospect of martial law or totalitarian control becomes systemically impossible, politically and strategically. I rarely run into liberty advocates who disagree with this plan, yet they do nothing and refuse to even make the attempt because they are still waiting around for someone to give them a plan. Stop waiting around for the next Gandhi or George Washington and do what you already know needs to be done. It is truly as simple as that.
Changing Our Idea Of Leadership
As stated earlier, you do not need a man on a white horse to ride in and save you from the terrifying idea of self-responsibility. If you are waiting for someone to come down off the mountain with magical stone tablets and lead you to the promised land, you are going to find yourself rather disappointed. Despite popular belief, men do not organize other men; only ideas given focus organize men. Men rally around that which they love or that which they hate. Leadership is often incidental, or sadly, manipulative.
So, by extension, we can conclude that to develop a strong organization, the ideal must be honest and honorable, the plan must be decentralized and natural for individuals to implement, and those who coordinate the organizational efforts must do so with the realization that they are stewards of the principles of that movement and that those principles are more important than their glory. If activists plan to become followers of anything, it should be solid principles. Leaders are secondary.
Destructive Egomania
In my time in the movement, I have seen relatively good men with sound ideals exhibit insane behavior and absurd motives when exposed to a mere 15 minutes of fame. Ego is truly the greatest Achilles’ heel of any activist organization. This is a fact that corrupt governments are highly aware of.
If you look into the history of the FBI’s subversive Cointelpro efforts from the 1950s onward, you will find a common tactic used to dismantle anti-establishment groups, which is to sow discord among organizers and coordinators by feeding egos and turning them against each other. Like the ring of power in the “Lord of The Rings” books, the desire for leadership can blind people to the greater cause. They develop delusions of grandeur, thinking they are the next guru, the next prophet, the next man to lead the charge to permanent historical stardom. Each person believes that if only he had the ring, if only he were the leader, he could resist the temptations of power and achieve what others could not. And so he refuses to work with others or to share the stage, or he even attempts to subvert or co-opt the legitimate accomplishments of more capable men.
The only solution is to cast off the ring forever, to care nothing for the supposed glories of leadership and to work only for the betterment of others.
I have also seen people within the movement fall victim to the admiration of their own fan base. Positive feedback from readers is certainly helpful, but I would be writing everything I write now even if every email I received were laced with vitriol (sometimes they are). The truth does not require fans; it functions fine without them. Liberty champions do, on occasion, receive letters of adoration — from being compared to Thomas Paine all the way to being labeled the next Jesus (the former being flattering and the latter being just plain weird). The problem is not public appreciation; it is the cult of celebrity that many Americans have grown too attached to, as well as the fact that some activists in more public positions have a hard time handling positive attention without their heads expanding 10 sizes too big.
The fact is I don’t matter, liberty leaders and personalities don’t matter, the limelight doesn’t matter, and the level of our fan base doesn’t matter. All that matters is how effectively and efficiently we can get the facts to the public. Organization suffers when the cult of celebrity takes over, whether in the minds of activists or in the minds of the people who represent them in the media.
Fear Of Risk Leads To Inaction
In my work with groups such as Oath Keepers and its Community Preparedness Team program, I have taken what some might consider sizable risks, and I have witnessed others who have gone even further. And in this risk I have seen the kinds of progress in organization I have never seen anywhere else. Without risk, there can be no organization against tyranny and, thus, no chance of success. If you are afraid to be put on the naughty list in the National Security Agency database, if you are afraid you might lose your job, if you are afraid you might be labeled an “extremist” or if you are afraid of uneducated public perception and this has prevented you from building mutual aid and defense groups where you live, then you have already lost everything. Fear leads to inaction, and inaction is death.
I have even witnessed members of organizations attempt to prevent others from taking positive measures like training for community defense because they are so fearful of what might happen due to their affiliation they will actually work against the better goals of the people around them. All I can say is that fear-driven people have to be removed from organizational environments, or they will poison the waters until the entire venture flatlines. Risk is inevitable. It is unavoidable. All anti-establishment, anti-tyranny movements depend on it. The more people willing to take risks, the more effectively “safe” that risk becomes. This includes the fear of defense and the fear of losing one’s life in the process. Every scenario, even the worst-case scenario, has to be considered and then set aside as irrelevant. Fear has no place in the minds or actions of liberty champions. Remove fear, and world-changing organization becomes possible.

"We must organize around the truth, no matter how painful it happens to be."
That sounds too painful. Can't we just keep lying to ourselves a little longer? I swear, just a little longer. I'll embrace the truth tomorrow. Yeah, tomorrow for sure. Promise.
It doesn't take that many like-minded liberty individuals to start making a difference LOCALLY.

Surprised nobody has posted this manifesto yet. It has been floating around for a while and I think the first part is pretty good. The longer, lesser parts II and III can be found here: http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=106118.0
The Virtues of a Disorganized Resistance - by Denis Jones
American opposition movements have always focused on the notion of organization. It has always been their goal to organize the people. Their hope has been to wield the collective power of the disaffected, downtrodden, and exploited as a single unit against the concentrated power of the ruling class. While their hope has been noble, their methods have been foolish. Organized resistance has many drawbacks. These drawbacks have seldom been discussed by the opposition. I believe that the only effective resistance is a completely disorganized, decentralized, and leaderless opposition.
While, on the face of it, this claim may impress you as absurd. Of course it seems absurd! It is counterintuitive. Never the less, it is the ONLY method of resistance that will work within American society. I will explain why organized resistance has never worked in the United States. In addition, I will promulgate a new formula for effective resistance.
Why has organized resistance failed in the USA?
There are many reasons for the failure of organized resistance. The two primary causes of failure are intimately connected to the culture of the United States and the political system laid down by our nation's founding fathers.
The Cultural Cause
Americans, culturally, are anarchists. Few Americans realize this. Most Americans have a false understanding of the term "anarchism." However, upon examining the beliefs of your average American, you will find that most Americans:
* do not trust leaders
* do not trust government
* wish to be left alone
* value their privacy
* think of themselves as independent from society
* do not believe that there is a systemic solution to their problems
* believe that others should be free to do what they choose, provided they do
so in private and do not harm others
While it is undeniable that political culture in the United States often speaks to the opposite of the above list, it is also undeniable that most Americans register as neither Democrat or Republican and most Americans do not vote. Thus, despite the political culture, most Americans choose not to participate in it. This is not only due to their belief that the American political system is hopeless, but also is due to the cultural clash between the wider culture and the political culture.
Any attempt to organize large numbers of Americans into a single political movement will fail. Any attempt to create an organization led by a strong group of leaders will fail. Americans reject submersion into the collective. In a sense, Americans are anti-collectivists.
The Political Cause
American political culture is not ideological. Politicians attempt to draw ideological distinctions between the two major parties, but these distinctions are a matter of splitting hairs. The only significant difference between the two political parties is the degree of compassion represented by the rhetoric of the two parties. Compassion is not a political concept. Compassion is an attitude. Thus, the two parties differ, primarily, in attitude and not ideology.
Despite this, there remain two political parties. One is prompted to ask "why?" If each party is basically the same, with respect to ideology, why do they not merge into one party? The answer to this question is best found in viewing each political party according to its true nature. American political parties are, for all intents and purposes, organized crime units. American political parties have more in common with the Mafia than they have with their counterparts in more democratic societies. Like Mafia, each political party competes for control of territory in order to maximize the benefit to their business constituency. Like Mafia, the political parties attempt to mold the system to maintain their positions and access to resources. Like Mafia, the political parties force the average citizen to pay "protection" under the threat of violence (taxes). Like Mafia each political party uses the "protection" money collected for its own advantage.
By defining our political system in terms of the "majority" and the "opposition," our Constitution enshrines this two mafia system into law. Each Mafia passes laws to exclude new comers from the game while focusing the rest of its energy in destroying the other Mafia.
Thus, any resistance movement that chooses to become an organization is in competition with these Mafiosi. The deck is stacked and the power of the state, wielded by these organized crime units known as the Democratic and Republican parties, will waste the time and resources of any newcomer. A newcomer can only succeed by rejecting the political system, draining its resources, and undermining the rule of the state.
How is disorganized resistance superior?
In some societies, dissidents become heroes. In American society dissidents are systematically slandered, libeled, harassed, and villainized. If they become successful, they are murdered (e.g. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X). In the American experience, movements that look to leaders are decapitated. Leaders are a liability, not an asset.
Organizations can be (and are) infiltrated. Organizations can be taxed. Organizations have legal responsibility. Organizations have membership lists and lists are wonderful tools for the oppressor. Organizations take on a life of their own. They struggle to exist and their continued existence takes priority over their mission. Organizations attract opportunists, power mongers, and attention seekers. Organizations tend to exploit their rank and file for the benefit of their inner circle. Disorganizations share none of these defects.
Bureaucracy cannot comprehend disorganization. Disorganization is invisible. The asymmetry of the relationship between organization and disorganization favors disorganization. Organization depends upon planning. Planning requires predictability. Disorganization cannot be predicted. This leaves organization at a disadvantage.
Organization requires a supply chain. Supply chains can be disrupted. Disorganization depends only upon the resources of its members. Supply chains that do not exist cannot be eliminated.
Disorganized movements rely upon swarming. Swarms are difficult to defend against. If you cut a swarm in half, you have two swarms. If you eliminate one of the resulting swarms, you still have a swarm. Disorganization breeds. Organization grows. The many and dispersed are a more difficult target than the large and concentrated.
Organizations takes their steps by design. If the design is flawed, the organization fails. Disorganization relies not upon design but upon evolution. The motivating notions of disorganization are memes. Memes evolve and memes compete. This process improves the motivating notions of disorganization. This process produces multiple courses of action. While some may fail, others are likely to succeed. Taken as a whole, disorganization is more likely to succeed.
The important thing to remember is that it is easier to destroy than to create that which is designed. Thus, the cost to those who lose the manifestation of their design outweighs by leaps and bounds the cost it takes to destroy it. That which evolves is cheap and when an effort is created to destroy the evolved entity, it merely mutates and evolves again, adjusting to the new conditions. As a process that fosters evolution, a movement based on disorganization will continue to survive, evolve, and expand without cost. The resource constraints placed upon the designed (e.g. government and corporate) and those absent from the evolved (a decentralized and disorganized opposition movement), favor the later.
The limits of disorganization
I do not propose a complete absence of organization. Instead I propose a disorganization of units. Units can be as small as a single individual, or as complex as cell of individuals working together. Cells may be internally organized, but they should not be statically organized cell to cell. The movement should have no commander. It should have no central committee or governing body. No global plans should be made. The modus operandi of each unit should be to think globally and act locally. Ideas, strategies, and tactics should float freely and compete as memes within the medium of the collective conscious.
Conclusions
We need to construct a disorganized movement. You need not apply to join. In fact, it might be better if you did not contact me, or anyone except those with whom you wish to form a unit. Your ideas, strategies, tactics, and lessons learned should be spread anonymously or by word of mouth. When you act, should you decide to act in resistance, attribute your actions to "the Resistance." The growing din of disorganized disruption will be felt as an earthquake. There will be trembles. There will be pre-shocks. The tension will mount and, in time, there will be an earthquake. When that earthquake strikes, the organized edifice of the oppressor will fall like a house of cards.
I subscribe wholeheartedly to the above point of view, but the difficulty building a society modelled on those prescriptions may be immensely difficult. The good news is while there may be easier way. I see the word "decentralized" or "disorganized" echoed number of times. Also, as the old adage goes money makes the world go round. Put one and two together and the solution seems obvious: opening oneself to the idea of accepting decentralized money is the first step. Once there is enough velocity in decentralized money such as gold, silver, bitcoin, the next step is to shut the door on rotten, centralized, fiat money.
all any government needs is a balanced budget ammendment in their constitution. only debt allowable would be very short-term to smooth over quarter to q shortfalls. reserves from robust economies are not allowed to expand gov service, by law. excesses are reflected by tax rate reductions. tax increases allowed only by vote, not elected officials.
punishable by treason and ENFORCED. ENFORCED as in not even a chance in hell of proposing a budget that creates new spending financed by debt. let private enterprizes take risk. since the whole banking cartel runs on fiat debt, the honest polititcians would be only electable group standing. taxes would be set by debate by elected representative answering to the people, not bankers/money contributions/graft. total separation of gov/corp. ie. un- incorporate government.
dream on...
anybody have an island to start fresh? ha...
Oh the tangled web we weave, when we FIRST practice to decieve.
Every man is already standing on his own island, all you need to do is survive it.
no leaders eh? we already have plenty of ron pauls doing a fake opposition thanks.
"If liberty advocates did ever organize themselves into a “church of liberty,” they could succeed in their goal of eliminating the state. The leaders of the “church,” assured of voluntary obedience, would be able to coordinate the entire liberty movement. Millions of voluntary “soldiers,” inspired by the prospects of a free world, and acting in lockstep, directed by a central authority, would be no match for the bribery and fear that keeps state employees in line. The employees of the state will fall back and the state will dissolve. Those Hayek calls “the best” will finally be back on “top”, chosen by a voluntary process, and the violent, fear-induced forcible unity of the state will forever have been shattered. Compulsory taxation will from then on exist only in the minds of immature neurotics, and marginal, criminal elements in any particular community, exactly where such a barbaric idea belongs (if anywhere). Never again will criminals be able to band together and rule the rest of us. A “church of liberty” presents one possible path to victory."

This guy's perspective is worse than the original article here. He doesn't cite to a single material or historical example or challenging power. This is a fantasy motivational speech - what is hthis nonsense "The growing din of disorganized disruption will be felt as an earthquake. There will be trembles. There will be pre-shocks....when that earthquake strikes, the organized edifice of the oppressor will fall like a house of cards". THAT IS SAD. I'm not against motivation and getting excited about challenging the system, but we won't get anywhere with ahistorical and immaterial fantasies. I don't know why any of the practical people here would prefer pretty words over concrete reality with plans.
I don't want to suggest these perspectives are meant to be government cooption, but they certainly are bad ideas that infect resistance. I mean read what this dude says:
"Any attempt to organize large numbers of Americans into a single political movement will fail. Any attempt to create an organization led by a strong group of leaders will fail. Americans reject submersion into the collective. In a sense, Americans are anti-collectivists. "
Basically he is reciting (if this were true) the premise as to why the US has become the nation of slaves who are the best chattel to occupy the imperial homeland. ANY ATTEMPT TO ORGANIZE WILL FAIL - CARE ONLY ABOUT YOURSELF - DO NOT STAND UP - DO NOT RESIST US. Lol - instead fantasize about revolutionary earthquakes that will be conjured by your "committment" to rejecting organization. Shit like this is jesus fucking christ evidence of people who have never had to organize for armed confrontations.
I'm sorry to be so harsh on this topic and I don't want to appear as if I am some sort of statist or central-planner, but plenty of comments by allies here reveal the commonsense conclusion that acting as a loner will get you picked off in a fight and in a collapse, it will get you mobbed. The enemy has organized machines - I know organized machines suck, but you need to make one too if you want to fight them. It will never be morally clean, it will never be operationally perfect, there will be divisions and infighting, suffering and losses - but if you don't collectively risk, you'll never collectively prevail. Liberty reserved for only the individual may be granted to us by god, but it is only sustained by collective defense.
The fallacy with the concept of organized resistance is the fact that is organization, the concentration of power into a few elites hands that we are actually trying to resist. We cannot fight the very legs we stand upon.
What is required is NOT organization.
What is required is a shared sense of goals, of purpose, that is reflected in each persons own actions. Not organizing for a battle, or even an underground organization of resistance. just simply living our lives based upon certain principles that we each adhere to, without some website or talking head to work us into a fever with pitchforks in our hands.
The reality is that our society now does as it always has, reflect that common set of values, and it is glaring obvious that it now sucks to a higher degree than any of us really wants to admit. We want to rail against our leaders, complaining of their constant lies and illegal acts while the world spins on.
Yes, they are lying to us, manipulating us to reflect this new reality. Humans have ALWAYS lied to get their way and this is nothing new. We just have to be smarter, or at least smart enough to not accept their lies. Until then, no protest, no revolt will matter because the liars will still be in charge. If we are simply enraged sheep, we will be far more dangerous to ourselves than anyone else. Just another stampede over a cliff or into a slaughter house.
So what, then? RAHN PAHL 2016? Start a militia?
Honeypots, all of them. Centralized entities as malicious, infectious, and efficient as the State will ALWAYS be better than "us" at co-option, conversion, and dismantling. Period. If you can give me an example of successful centralized resistance to State power in America in the past 100 years, I will concede the point to you, but I highly doubt you can.
Armed resistance against the State is utterly ineffective in the 21st Century. Read Tragedy and Hope by Carroll Quigley, the "official" historian of the Anglo-American Empire. If you've already read it, read it again. He states, emphatically and correctly, that the only time Freedom has ever existed in human society is when the State and the populous are equally armed. That all changed with the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, and has only gotten worse in the post-Nuclear and Technocratic age. It's a "war" you'll never win, and if it happens, will be entirely pre-scripted. Get the idea out of your head. Not saying you shouldn't have the means to protect yourself and those you care about, but I can't help but shake the feeling that the red-blooded "Patriot" types have been fomented deliberately to do the dirty work of depopulation.
Decentralized, individual, nonviolent action networked with other decentralized individuals truly is the only hope I see, and sadly, even most of the "awake" don't do that; they'd rather sit in the echo-chamber of info-tainment, quite literally addicted to the biochemical reaction of Doom and Gloom news.
How many of you reading this grow or raise a sizable percentage of your own food? How many hold zero paper assets, even to your own financial detriment? How many have taken the leap of self-employment or quit your corporate jobs? How many are actively weaning themselves off the teat of the electrical grid, which is rapidly becoming "smarter" and thus, networked for complete and total surveilance? How many in colder climates have the means to heat their house without centralized entities, which without "free trade" could never exist? How many have a basic understanding of alternative medicine? If that's you, bravo, but I suspect it isn't. If even a small percentage of the populous did these things and more, the System would come to a grinding halt, but we can't even get the people who supposedly care to do most of these things.
Why? Because like it or not, if you've been roped into the system and are dependent upon it for retirement, physical sustinence, caring for your family, etc. you're already screwed. It would require incredible force, financial power, and inertia to move you to act, and even then, the transition would be difficult. The Old Guard (in my eyes, anyone over the age of 40 or so) has no other option besides a twitching trigger-finger, largely because this fantasy is infinitely easier than the difficult task of re-engineering society from the ground up. Those who set up the System know this and are planning on you acting accordingly, and I suspect many of you will not fail to let them down.
Even now, you can see it in comment sections on websites like this; far more Robespierres than Paines, and I suppose I can't blame them. Paine lived a hard, thankless life to the bitter end, but you know what? He was right.
You left the track at non-violent. Too much peacenik, let's comprominse, buy-the-world-a-coke has soaked into you youngling. Violence, naked violence, has solved more problems than any other method in history. (There's that Heinlein guy).
The opposition gets to vote on your "plan", too, it's a matter of least common denominator. He might just decide to divide by zero before you do.
Oh, hey, Robespierre.
Did the beginning of my diatribe fly right over your head or something? Dunno if you've been hiding under a rock since birth, but this ain't the 1770s and your opponent isn't holding muskets, nor does America have some third-world, third-rate army. They've got flying death robots, ICBMs, EMPs, nukes, bioweapons, a digital panopticon, and that's just the toys the Proles know about. You're dealing with an opponent that would rather flip the chessboard over entirely than lose the game and it's high time you let that sink in. You can hate them, as any thinking man should, but underestimate them at your own detriment.
I said nothing of compromise, nothing of peaceniking, nor buying high fructose corn syrup laden corporatist bullshit. Fight if you must, but if it comes to that, you've already lost. I hope you can come to this basic understanding now as opposed to sitting in a ditch somewhere gripping your Remington 870 letting the inevitability of utter defeat sink in.
"I hope you can come to this basic understanding now as opposed to sitting in a ditch somewhere gripping your Remington 870 letting the inevitability of utter defeat sink in"
Better to die like a man, than die on your knees.
I believe the saying is, "Better to die like a man than LIVE on your knees," which means something else entirely. Your fascination with martyrdom suggests that you already live on your knees, hoping to redeem your servitude in some fictitious blaze of glory that, if it has not come yet, will likely never come.
"As for adopting the ways which the State has provided for remedying the evil, I know not of such ways. They take too much time, and a man's life will be gone. I have other affairs to attend to. I came into this world, not chiefly to make this a good place to live in, but to live in it, be it good or bad."
-Henry David Thoreau
Henry David Throueau, unwashed hippy, creepy pedophile and america's first transient.
Want to meet your fucking hero? He's panhandling on an intersection in the nearest major city to you.
let me know how givin peace that chance works out, snowflake.
You've clearly never read Thoreau, certainly not Civil Disobedience.
Fuck you and fuck your empty platitudes, you illiterate cunt.
I agree with the anarchist above. The only time "organized" is superior to "decentralized" is when it is your intention to coerce or defraud people into fighting for you.
Well one historic example would be Afghanistan vs both the Americans and the Russains
...who were armed, protected, and financed by the most gluttonous and violent Empire the world has ever known, AKA the very people who most here would identify as our enemies. Not to mention the Mujahidden live a rural, agrarian lifestyle and could feed themselves, traits and skills that are lost to most Americans.
I get what you're saying, really, I do. And I'm sympathetic to it. Perhaps there's some hypothetical future where the Russians are assisting Americans to take down the Anglo-American Establishment for their own ends. But America is not Afghanistan, and the same reasons our separation from the Old World by the Atlantic and Pacific make us safe from invaders are the same reasons why we're pretty much on our own if shit pops off. All this is completely ignoring .gov's massive strategic missile defense system, which is virtually impenetrable.
Look, if I thought we could get this done through traditional revolution, I'd be its biggest advocate. It's just not possible in the modern era, and entertaining the thought simply deters us from thinking of and exercising the myriad of other pragmatic solutions we have at our disposal.
"The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion." -Albert Camus
I've been thinking along similar lines for a while. If you organaize you'll be tracked and eliminated. Everyone has to act as one mind but seperately. It is what they fear the most.
Yes, it does. It requires a majority to make a difference. Unless patriots congregate in a geographical voting district and form a MAJORITY. You cannot make a difference. That little rule about majority winning the race will never change in this country because its tradition. It order to get a constitutional sheriff, the majority of the voters have to be patriots, etc, etc.
Yes, congregate around others with your shared values. This helps insulate you from those forces against you but also creates a visual symbol for others to emulate. The only world to value is one where its values expressed voluntarily, represent who it is we really want to be. This is not something that can be forced upon us by law. It has to be who we are.
Progressives want us to believe that we can "create" a new reality if we simply force it upon the people. Marx believed that tyranny used to cull and enforce Statist values could "convert" and create a society fully committed to the collective purpose, and that new society would eventually be so natural that after three generations they tyranny would simply fade away.
Its this kind of insane bullshit that drives ALL leaders today. they see their purpose not to facilitate our needs and wishes to to "transform"us into better people. All that we can be. Atomatron Borgs linked to the collective hive brain.
Voting to fix the System is like trying to fix the Golden Gate Bridge with epoxy. Well-meaning, but utterly ineffective.
If you can find a single district in America that actually counts your votes accurately, i.e. not using an electronic voting machine with a central tabulator that can be manipulated at will, then go for it. Problem is, those don't exist. In fact, if you do vote, even for freedom (which is an oxymoron if I've ever heard one) you're literally feeding a voting algorithm that delivers you the pre-scripted result in most instances.
In Matagorda county Texas we use a pencil mark on a peice of paper. There can still be fraud.
+1
Anyone who disagrees or isn't aware of the situation with electronic voting machines should watch the interviews that Stephen Spoonamore did about 10 years ago (link - https://youtu.be/ZAyEfovA404 ). No sensationlalistic bullshit, he just lays out the facts and he's a credible expert on information security
How to direct your poorly formed logic into a positive? That's a tough one.
You get 6 up votes for the notion that all voting can be corrupted. The operative word is CAN, not will, but CAN. So you would like to intentionally mislead people with this idea that ALL VOTING IS FUTILE because it CAN be corrupted.
Not all elected offices are worth illegally tampering with the software/hardware. Too many offices are beneath the notice of those with the resources to do that sort of tampering. You are operating under the OBTUSE assumption that there are thousands of programmers on standby waiting to delve into voting operating systems to rig them according to the wishes of their handler. The lower on the totem pole (city and county elections), the less likely that district is critical to the needs of our overlords.
Now why is it that 6 people agreed with you when they don't take other factors into consideration?
I'm going to give you a simple analogy here to make this concept more crystal clear for you. There are individuals that can "pickpocket" your credit card information with a sophisticated reader of some sort. Since this is the case, ARE YOUR CREDIT CARDS IN A SECURE CASE? And why not? Since the scenario is actually possible and technically proven.
That's right, the answer is, just because its possible doesn't mean it WILL happen. But if you give into that fear driven, emotional illogic, then the chances are you will forfeit any chance to make a difference on the local level by not voting. Thanks for spreading fallacies and myths.
Not really. How do I know? Because we are doing it. With 5 Liberty folks we started holding up the establishment republicans and were able to elect a new chair of the party (we had other allies helping us to achieve the majority). The irony was that they said they were amazed we got a new chair installed at all. We did a lot of phone calls and convincing of others. The other groups didn't know it was possible until "us five" showed them how to do it. People involved in these politics at the county level are surprisingly unsophisticated.
With 10 Liberty folks added (later on) we controlled spending of the party and were able to pass resolutions specifically against a certain senator that made national news. Admittedly, our local candidates were funded but most were not elected. It will take some time to build a healthy precinct system.
But at this reorg we will have 35 Liberty folks in executive committeeman positions to start in. March.
We don't control anyone. We show them what is possible, how to achieve involvement, then set them free. We maintain communication and coordinate strategies. It's truly like herding cats trying to get them on the same page. These are liberty folks after all. It is bottom up control if there even is such a thing (control that is).
Y'all can debate about what is the best way to proceed or not proceed and continue to do nothing. It reminds me of the Monty Python skit about the famous philosophers playing soccer. All thinking, and pondering and chin scratching...yet the ball does not move an inch. Meanwhile, thieves are working in your local politics unhindered. All we need are warm bodies showing up and this shit show will stop. The end. Give me some folks that want to do something for their own communities and I we will be glad to help. Phone calls, advise, strategies, whatever. Or you can sit there doing Nada, Or if your paranoia forbids you from contacting us, do it yourself- you are smart enough!
Your move (or not).
"Greetings, Professor Stares Straight."
"Hello, Joshua."
"A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. How about a nice game of chess?"
I'm hearing lots of platitudes and no real-world examples. Have you ended the insane War on Drugs in your municipality? Reeled back oppressive building and zoning codes? Gotten rid of them entirely? Stopped the State apparatus from criminalizing nonviolent acts? How 'bout ending your municipality's financial support of imperialism that's bleeding us all dry? Still paying your Federal taxes like good little serfs?
There's a difference between "doing nothing" and "doing a lot outside the system," you know. Refer to the Thoreau quote above. He thought the political apparatus was beyond saving in the mid-1800s, and not only am I inclined to agree with him, I'm absolutely certain things have only gotten worse since then.
And has "the outside the system" strategy achieved these goals by now? (I assume you apply the same standard of success to your approach.). Maybe this approach has you well on the way to a cure for cancer?
I was never a fan of Thoreau. Didn't he sponge food and other services off gullible of women while hiding out in the woods " outside the system"?
Another mooch canonized by liberal college professors.
100 years of a do nothing approach has gotten us here. Let's keep trying that and expect different results.
This is so ignorant it barely warrants a response, but I'll bite. My off-grid lifestyle producing most of what I consume has changed the world for me and those close to me, absolutely. It's certainly served as a big question mark to those friends and family who said doing so wasn't "realistic," and that's barring my noncompliance with virtually everything you're trying to alter through politics. And cancer is a symptom of a shitty diet and lifestyle, not a disease in and of itself, of which I'm doing my best to avoid and help others avoid by not eating chemical, genetically modified frankenfoods.
But way to avoid ALL of the substantive questions I put to you by substituting a convenient straw-man. That's called a logical fallacy. Perhaps if you did more reading and less prattling on with meaningless "political action" campaigns, you'd have learned that by now.
"Canonized by liberal college professors"? What the fuck are you even saying? Thoreau was an anarchist through and through, infinitely more devoted to his goals than you or I could ever be in the modern Technofeudal dictatorship. Go read Civil Disobedience and tell me that's not a man utterly devoted to Freedom and divorced from all your silly labels.
Newsflash: You naiive motherfuckers have been trying to "change the system from within" for far longer than 100 years now. The Libertarian party? The Green Party? The Anti-Masonic Party of the 1830s? ANY third party? The John Birch Society? RAHN PAHL? Jesse Ventura? GATA? You fail, and fail, and fail again, expecting different results. Forgive me for losing my patience, but it pains me to see well-meaning people like yourself bang your head against an immovable wall and expect it to fall. You'll be dead before that happens.
Easy, son. We're just having a friendly conversation. If you want to make it about me so that you feel better about you then you didn't study Henry Thoreau quite as thoroughly as you imply. I am not your disapproving family.
Re Thoreau, apparently I am not the only one that had a low opinion of the hypocrite:
"Despite criticizing society for disrespecting nature, Thoreau once started a fire in the Concord woods after incompetently maintaining a campfire and burned half of the forest down. Before Walden launched his career as the father of environmentalism, the locals referred to him by another nickname: "woods burner."
"That was also due in part to me causing a terrible outbreak of gonorrhea."
But OK, this was before his journey of self-discovery, so maybe murdering a significant amount of America's natural wilderness was the event that turned his life around. Except that Thoreau admitted in his journal to feeling no remorse and bragged about the "glorious spectacle." Oh, and he worked in a pencil factory, which of course required wood logging, so there's that.
As for his self-reliance philosophy, Thoreau didn't really earn top marks for that, either.
For starters, the land that he lived on was owned by his mentor, Ralph Waldo Emerson. While writing about the importance of solitude at Walden Pond, Thoreau would run into town and have people cook dinner for him, and before heading back into the woods, he would dump his laundry at his mother's house."
So much for romantic, off grid self reliance....

But back to the point about "you naive mother fuckers trying to change things from inside" point you were delicately making- What amazes me about this project is exactly the opposite of what you say. No one knows how to change the system from within. No one understands what the precinct system is. The founders recognized human nature would be inadequate and perhaps, as evidenced by lack of participation, they were right.
I will tell you the effort is less than one would expect. Even for an "off grid" guy.
Localism is pragmatic in spirit and would be a wonderful way to organize society... AFTER the current paradigm ends. Can't do it now, sorry. Won't work. Go take a look at your county building codes as an example, wherever you are. 200+ pages in most municipalities, all based off of the "International" Building Code. We've been globalized even at the most local of levels and there's no reversing that through the ballot box. If there was a time to do that, it was 50 years ago, at least.
Seriously, just try getting something as basic as the ability to build your own damn house without a mortgage altered. Even if you could amass enough people who gave a shit locally, even if you could cast your ballots and have them counted by real people as opposed to machines, even if you started reeling back the tide of the global comptrollers, your State government will make life for those who live there an utter Hell.
The current paradigmn will collapse. We don't have to do a thing about it, in fact we can't stop it. So let's be ready and understand what we should replace it with so that centraliation can never happen again. That is here http://www.amazon.com/Localism-Philosophy-Government-Mark-Moore/dp/06922...
Now your point about state and local officials is largely accurate, so long as people insist on doing politics through a centralized, nationalized unitary party system where the same outfit sponsors candidates for all branches of government and all levels of government. This unitary party system end-runs the formal process of separation of powers the founders set up. An example of a way around that here : http://www.arneighbors.org/
Local choice is the key to sustaining liberty. In the end, it is either going to be localism or globalism. If for no other reason than nothing else but localism can defend a society against globalism: http://www.amazon.com/Localism-Philosophy-Government-Mark-Moore/dp/06922...

My apologies. Let me try again: http://www.arneighbors.org/
ahh the racist liberty movement...why do they hate blacks so much?
I'm kidding, a lot of talk though, not much action. Almost went off at the Bundy Ranch last year...had some friends that were there
I was buttoning up stuff to head there when I got see the gov backed down for the first time since the civil war.
I got a tshirt my friends got me there. I was watching on a live stream, it was amazing to see. I doubt we'll see them back down again, the .gov that is. I am speculating that's why Ried is blind in one eye now. He fucked up
I got a III% tat last week. Honestly, it's easy to talk big but I shutter to think how it would actually be.
Go away troll.
Harry was drunk, he's an old man. His injuries look like every other drunk old man tumble I've seen. Shame it did'nt leave him addled.
I'm glad to hear that. On Monday, I was girding myself for the trip, trying to talk to family, friends and coworkers to go with me. Many were 'too busy' or 'had plan's. Monday night, I decided I had to do it, I had to go, to support what was going on. My family worried about me and what might happen, but if I didn't go, I'd be forever pissed at myself.
Tuesday, I told my boss, I was heading out, the next day. I owned nothing for camping gear and Tuesday night, I first stopped at Costco, got food that didn't need refrigeration, six gallons of water, a lantern and a cheap sleeping bag. Next was the local sporting good store. A Sun shower bag, portable stove , rations, stainless cooking and eating stuff, rations. It was nearly 9 pm, when I got done stuffing my little station wagon.
Early the next morning, on Wednesday, unwrapped and repacked, got my dog and headed east to Las Vegas on the Interstate. Scared, but determined. You aren't going to head to something like that worry free, that's for sure. But I had to go. If you feel that gut feeling that you've got to go, then just fucking go!
Best bunch of people I ever met. There were no swaggering idiots. Everybody was pretty level headed, but determined. We had BLM aircraft circling us, usually Cessna's flying low altitude and you know they were taking pictures. My hatch was up on my wagon, with the license plate facing the sky, so I damn well knew, that they know me now.
I'll tell you what, with a No Fly zone being enforced, it was very, very quiet in the early hours of Thursday morning. I slept in the back of my wagon, with my feet hanging out the back. At 2 AM, I laid there and waited in the dead silence of the dark, for the far off sound of helicopters. They didn't do it, but they sure as he'll, considered it, especially after earlier in the day, with that POS, Harry Reid calling us "Domestic Terrorists". All kinds of stuff goes through your head, laying there in the dark. Will I be brave, when the moment comes? Am I ready to die? The weird part, was that I was more worried about my dog and what would happen to her, if there was some melee.
Still aamazed, at the people that started showing up, starting at 2 AM. The guy that rode 16 hours from San Francisco on a motorcycle, with nothing but a blanket, bungee strapped to the seat. He pulled up and he was a brother, as far as I was concerned. Fed him, watered him and he laid out in the silty dirt with his blankie and went to sleep.
The dawn cracked on the chilly Nevada morning and at 7, a rented car pulled up, with a retired Aussie police chief and his wife. They flew all the way here, from Australia! At 7:30, a guy pulled up on a Harley, from New Mexico, having ridden all night. And the five of is, stood there, sharing our stories of how we got there. Still glad I went and the next time, the call comes, not a phone call, text or email, but a call from your gut, telling you, you've got to go, I'm going to go again.
Had some friends that were there
If true, they were most likely In the BLM ranks.
Judging by your comments.
:)
LOL no way...I was just being stupid on here today. My Parents even went to the freedom celebration that Friday after.
Just busting your balls.
Actually your comments today were masterworks of sarcasm.
Though it seemed (amazingly enough) that many missed the sarc.
My motto ; screw em if their not bright enough to catch the sarc.
Thanks, sometimes I just get so disgusted with the way things are that I have to vent. Laughter is teh best medicine.
Indeed Brother, it's all good.
Work starts at 5:30.
Forwardho has left the building.
I'll post a picture of my new tat and the tshirt to prove it.
Damn links wont work
Hitlery... Are you batt 77, you seem to fit the pattern?? Provocative name, sure to inflame dumb cons, a little racism cuz all cons like racism, you had friends at the ranch, sure you did.. My dog was there, white shepherd, he's a rayciss, stole my car..
Perhaps they simply hate n!&&ers, not blacks.
Actually the liberty people are the most open minded upstanding people out there. No one wants war or a shootout, but we want our rigths.
Because we voted one in for prez and now the country is detroit. Just kiddingggggggg!
"Fiat justitia ruat caelum."
The Achilles' Heel of the Matrix is information. For now, they promote absolute lies because they have a stranglehold on information sources. This means we are forced to reason with people who are completely brainwashed and don't know it. A while back I had a near argument with an otherwise very smart person. We were talking about Ukraine and NATO. I may as well have been talking to their PR departments, that is how good and decent people are now such completely warped thinkers.
They simply do not consider that all those men in uniform and high office holders with solemn stories about security could be psychopathic liars. They can't imagine that the IRS and the FED are rackets because they issue official documents and can allow their goons the full weight of the law. The whole thing is twisted. Until the information problem is resolved this will continue.
fleur de lis,
Very good and correct observation.
This intellectual confinement is not accidental. There is a huge effort by our massmedia, education system, and religion into making, If I can borrow Adam Smith’s phrase: As stupid and ignorant as it is possible for a human to be”.
Example:
In 1915, the British government asked Viscount Bryce, one of the best-known contemporary historians, to head the Committee on Alleged German Outrages which was to investigate the allegations of atrocities.
The report purported to prove many of the claims, and was widely published in the United States, where it contributed to convince the American public to enter the war.
Few at the time criticised the accuracy of the report. After the war, historians who sought to examine the documentation for the report were told that the files had mysteriously disappeared.
Surviving correspondence between the members of the committee revealed they actually had severe doubts about the credibility of the tales they investigated.
Who could have helped spread these lies to Americans in 1915?
American intellectuals, because these are the people who are most gullible and most likely to believe propaganda.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atrocity_propaganda#World_War_I
If they are gullible, they are not intellectual. It is very possible that gullible people say they are intellectuals though. "If you meet buddha on the road, kill him."
Overall, I am a big believer in anarchism, but my sense is that it requires too much effort for most people to choose and maintain. Slavery is easier for most folks. That also makes sense, otherwise we would not keep falling into feudal slave states and we would naturally self organize. The question is, if you are part of the 5% of people who is very proactive and driven, do you opt to become a slaver, or a non-conformist? Often even the slaves hate the non-conformists because you lay in plain sight their weakness and question their submission.
Absolute non-conformist: spends his life battling an indefatigable moloch
Slaver: becomes the moloch
Adult: "I suppose it's best to hold fast when you can, and compromise when you need to."- Hobbes (B Watterson)
Calvin: That's a lot more mature than I think I care to be.
Calvin's Dad: Yeah I know, you think that you're going to be six years old the rest of your life.
Ah, Calvin. His time came far too soon. I miss him and his tiger.
No doubt.
BobPaulson
Excellent points.
I personally not crazy about the word 'anarchism’. I prefer the word 'Reason and Commonsense'.
Who's reason and common sense, that is what it always comes down to.... Who has all the facts today, whose "story" is correct and never mind that the human mind has a behavior and intellect range that seems to be infinite.
E
Escrava, yes they sure know how to enrage the populace and move it into the thought corral that furthers their goals. The USS Maine was blown up in Havana Harbor in 1898 and blamed on Spain right away. "To hell with Spain, remember the Maine!" became the prepackaged war slogan. And off to Asia the navy went, to seize The Philippines in retaliation. Which was the goal all along.
The war mongers also had to prep Japan for the Russo-Japanese War, and the 1905 Bolshevik attempt, but none of the saps who did the shooting and fighting and dying had a clue. What else is new. Fast forward to Irag and the chemical weapons that never were. And all the wars in between. As for "disappearing" files, either they never existed in the first place or the war planners destroyed them rather than answer for a ghastly and unnecessary worldwide bloodletting.
My grandfather worked security and counter-intel for the Strategic Air Command, and he explained the rampant lying thus:
Every Intelligence Agency in the world is always doing two things. One, finding out what others (enemies, allies, neutrals, doesn't matter) are doing. Two, lying about what you're doing. This is the institutional paradigm. And since the USSA is always at war, this paradigm has come to dominate the political sphere.
Disinformation is publicized. Truth is classified. Always. If you don't have special clearance and compartmentalized access, then you know whatever some spook cooked up and fed the public, because the truth has operational value.
Kobe Beef
You need to find a way to comment more often. I find your message very valuable.
fleur de lis
I understand your point, but these are symptoms. We need to go into the cause of this human weakness.
It's generic. Anyway, I have to go to work. More on that later on.
If Escrava thinks your comment is good...think twice.
Of course you are correct in stating: "all those men in uniform and high office holders with solemn stories about security could be psychopathic liars."
What you have not a clue on is their MOTIVATION. And this is the source of the multitude of conspiracy theories that proliferate.
Until truth is known, you'll never grasp the attention of the sleepwalkers. Which means, you'll never grasp the attention of the sleepwalkers.
Bangalore Torpedo
Read Kobe Beef post above.
no, plenty of people , enough people knwo its lies.
it will continue until the system has chewed up ALL capital by leveraging it so throroughly that the middle class is reduced to complete utter destitution.
the channels of information are at work all over the west. look at greece. you don't think the media and state are as bribed and corrupt? no, the difference was the level of poverty in greece was so overwhleming that there simply was no information to argue about. if people don't have food, they know they are hungry, you cannot tell them otherwise.
thats when this will stop, when americans are starving. with 40m+ people on foodstamps and 1 out of 5 jobs directly being a government job and countrless more being indireclty dpeendent on government-----------we are making headway towards our goal.
the reason the bipartisan govenrment wants to flood americas borders is because new immigrants and illegal ones are simply better able to cope with starvation and dilute the threat that the newly starving middle classes will pose to the governments authority.
it's really that simple. illegal and new immigrants DONT riot. they will sooner form local mafia that targets middle class folks property and just accept the need to steal and destroy than to challenge the govenrment.
it's pretty smart , they got it figured out well. and there's no shortage of mexicans.
Gold is the truth, Freedom is the goal.

Except if the truth is "racist," then you can't organize around it. White people these days would rather genocide themselves with the help of cultural Marxists than do that.
But this is the stark reality, there is no widespread "liberty movement" among Africans or African Americans. There is no widespread disagreement with discarding due process and the old establishment of fair/white justice systems in favor of the use of preemptive assassination and torture against tribal enemies among "neoconservatives"/Jews and Judaizers. There is a Left and Right and there are exceptions in all these ethnic groups. But the truth is that people are cultural and tribal creatures, including white/fair minded people that would rather destabilize their own cultures, engage in white flight or genocide themselves by blending themsevles out of existence with cultural Marxism rather than hurt the feelings of other tribes.
Zionists are working for white genocide through the soft power of diversity and blending white European cultures out of existence while the entire West or any majority white nation simultaneously tries to build and establish an ethnonational/racial state for Jews.
Perhaps that's the achilles heel of cultural Marxism some sort of a variant of the Talmudic dream of monetizing all the goyim by mongrelizing them. White/fair people may realize that everyone but "white people" are still tribal/"racist". So: "Wait a minute, we're building an ethnic state for the Jewish Right but the Jewish Left is telling us that we have to have more diversity and cannot preserve our own nations and cultures.... that's not FAIR!"
Yeah. It's not fair. In other words, it's not white. But there again, a lot of white people are pretty stupid and suicidal these days. Look at Jonestown and the "liberty movement"... it's generally a bunch of white people that cannnot admit that they're white and clearly have a white mentality of "fairness"/whiteness for all. Most Jews do not think like that. Most Africans do not think like that. Most Arabs do not think like that. You can hope and dream that they will and some, in fact, already do think like the majority of white people.
But most do not. This is the reality and "the truth" for now. Ironically, this whole concept of rallying around the truth is another lie if the truth is scientific truth seen through the technologies generally invented by white people. But if perceptions are reality for those with a herd mentality and so on, then cannot a lie create a new "reality" or perceptions of the truth? Hasn't that already happened numerous times? Isn't that happening now, with the kosher half truth movement and people that are not racists in general?
"If you are waiting for someone to come down off the mountain with magical stone tablets and lead you to the promised land, you are going to find yourself rather disappointed."
Bullcrap. What America needs, for real revolution is precisely this. Modern day violent agitators, much like Samuel Adams or V.I. Lenin, less all the ideology. Without that no "revolution" goes very far.
"like Samuel Adams or V.I. Lenin"
The broad range of possible outcomes implicit in this proposition give you no cause for concern? I'll stick with rational, voluntary interaction with like minded individuals, thank you very much.
Of course...revolution is the worst possible outcome. But now I didn't bring that idea up in the first place now did I? The author is yammering on about "organizing for action"...a euphemism for revolution. The author needs to get over it. Taco Bell is going to shut down...period. This taco stand is shutting its doors, and his "Revolution" is wasted breath.
Do you plan on organizing for action in wake of black swan events or do you plan on having no plan at all?
Cash..PMs..lead..food..water..good community. It's as good for me as it will ever be! Right now.
That sounds good but wait until the day when (if) freedom kicks in. You ain't seen nothin' yet.
how will I know...do tell!
When you have access to one hundred percent of the produce of your labors and there's no government entity telling you that your teenage daughter must shower with transsexuals you'll know that the day has arrived. There may be other clues as well.
Hey...that does exist. It's called heaven. There are precious few times in the history of man where all of those things existed. Here are two:
1) just after the consummation of the US founding, continuing for about 50 or so years after that
2) soon after the Jews crossed into the Promised land and were anarcho-capitalists who protected their rights with dismissable Judges.
And that's about it.
Any examples from your side?
People who have lived peaceful and productive lives outside the control of sociopaths rarely make the history books but it would be foolish to suppose that such a natural situation (the rights I espouse are natural after all) have not been enjoyed by many individuals in diverse times and places. "Grampa Lived a Rich Full Life" just doesn't have the same literary appeal as "The Crimean War" so we tend to hear much more about the latter.
–Book of Deuteronomy, chapter 14
That's not anarcho-capitalism. That's murderous racism.
So how is all that old testament terrorism working out?
And I thought you had half a brain.
Here is murderous racism today, right now in your face.
http://thereligionofpeace.com/
Grimaldus
Unless it was about getting rid of ancient races of giants that were produced by aliens from another dimension mating with humans. In that case, "racism" would be justified just like modern racism against white people (White gods, colonizers that had sex with the native women, etc.) is currently being justified by a gaggle of kosher minorities managed by Jews.
Perspectives vary.
Capitalism. Anarchy. This that and the other label. Look at Japan, its cities were nuked and then rebuilt. Germany, its cities were leveled and rebuilt. Now look at African American ruled Detroit, it is now a Turd World nation.
You can call it whatever labels you like. "Oh, they weren't anarcho capitalists! If only all majority black regions in America were anarcho capitalist then they wouldn't look like Fergadishu!" "If Japan wasn't racist and had more pygmies, then they still would have been able to build the same cities again!"
Etc.
Political systems do not matter except in the context of ethnically homogenous groups, like Robert Owen experimenting with socialism (New Harmony) and finding it a failure.
Otherwise, there are only people that are cultural and racial creatures. It doesn't really matter if groups of African pygmies are "socialists" are not. They're not going to build the same type of cities that the Japanese rebuilt after they were nuked. That's because race is real and observable. That's the thing about the "liberty movmenet" supposedly organizing around the truth.
They're still going to lie... mainly because they're already lying again.
Banglore Torpedo appears to me to be presenting another level of the deterioration of quality of comments. (However, I recognize that name http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangalore_torpedo is relatively interesting for troll to adopt.)
Smoke some moar weed and my comments will improve. The fact that you had to Wiki the definition of "bangalore torpedo" tells me everything I need to know.
Yeah RM, haven't you ever played Cawl Of Doody like BT here?
~Hey! What happened to the Welshman's Judge Smails quote in reply? Loved that! Put it back Tylers!~
You do realize that about the only reason people who have been here a while use wankerpedia is for the benefit of others, as long as a the subject matter is basic and non-controversial? Now if you want to argue the superiority of certain choices and placements of exposives for breaching various configurations of materials, there are more appropriate sources, and more appropriate places for the discussion.
Agreed. There's another new player with 5 weeks here trying to elicit responses about Bundy Ranch and just got a III% tattoo or so he says. If it seems wrong it probably is.
Wow...the "it's a newbie" bullshit retort...only read that one twice today. Seems to me, the longer the resident of ZH means one of two possibilities:
1) You've gulped the kool aid
2) You haven't gulped the koolaid and have been banned multiple times for your anti-anti-semitic rebuttals, mockery of conspiratorialists, or other sane behavior.
Get a clue.
I was talking about the same guy you referred to as "a fucking ape" earlier this evening.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-02-04/latest-us-invasion-iraq-begins-...
My bad! You were!
Listen I'm not a noob. I've been banned may times for speaking truths and being non-politcally correct (mainly about blacks - I was beat up by a gang of them in 2002). I've talked about this before. But I've been preparing for this stuff for many years. In fact, ZH one one of the sources that helped me get here.
What's the correctitude of pointing out that I've only ever been held at gunpoint by white people?
There are plenty of bad whites, I have just run into more bad blacks, especailly if you factor in percentages compard to population. I understnad there is a differnce between N(&*#$# and blacks. Just like White trash and regualr people.
You should start buying your street drugs in better neighborhoods. That way, you can get trashed by white drug dealers and feel better about your life and society in general.

Contrary to all the lies we have been taught for centuries, all revolutions have been quietly and skillfully planned, ignited, managed, and ended by the NWO from swanky conference rooms. They promote the false illusion of "power to the people" when in fact it would be impossible for so many disconnected individuals to do something like take down a government and put up another one.
No shit Sherlock. And when planning fails, 4GW is always the follow-on outcome...the LONG war!
Not really. It took the elites over two centuries to dismantle the Bill of Rights, and they still haven't been fully successful, otherwise, you would have global government and millions of disarmed Americans right now. Cowards always claim that revolution is "impossible" from the comfort of their couches. They are too frightened and too weak to pursue any other action except temporary comfort. Too frightened to realize nothing is impossible except when no one tries.
I didn't say revolution is impossible. I said it is an illusion to think that it is managed and directed by the general populace. The Englisn, French, Russian, Turkish, African, Asian, and recent Arab revolutions were nothing of the sort. They were planned, instigated, and managed by the NWO whlle carefully feeding ringleaders and street protesters the idea that "the people" were in charge. Terrorizing the populace with violence, death, and destruction everywhere while the target nation undergoes NWO metamorphosis is part of the script to keep "the people" in line.
Look at Ukraine--they did the same there only they lost control and now it has taken on a life of its own with various outside nations sending in psychopathic hit squads. NATO is itching to jump in. The idiots in DC are yammering about "boots on the ground." Again. Because it worked out so well previously. What does Ukraine have to do with us? Nothing. But it has everything to do with the people who really control this county. And that ain't "we the people." We're deluded cannon fodder.
Ukraine is a real time NWO out of control revolution. Notice how the puppetmasters hold on like pitbulls regardless of the carnage. Weaponry keeps pouring into a nonfunctional country. The NWO has a plan and they will do whatever they have to do to get what they want. Anyone who thinks "the people" run the show in Kiev has not been paying attention.
Actually by default you are indeed claiming that revolution (a revolution by the people) is impossible because in your OPINION all revolutions are controlled by the NWO. You provide no proof for such a broad statement beyone the Ukraine example. So according to you, all revolutions are "controlled" just because Ukraine's is controlled? This is nonsense. Broad statements like this are for children. The elites might be influential, but they are not that influential. If I revolt tomorrow, will that be controlled by the NWO as well? What about all the other millions of individual liberty people out there? Everything they do is preplanned by the elites? Was Bundy Ranch preplanned? If so, by what magic did they make this happen and what did they gain from it? You give the bankers too much credit.
In my OPINION you are severely lacking in knowledge as it pertains to the psychopaths who control this country and further afar. Basic information as to how the puppeteers pervert our institutions and use our tax money to fund revolutions and power grabs are in the following books, and they only scratch the surface. They might still be online but are being gradually eliminated.

If you want to start a real movement do like our forefathers, start at the local tavern, whip up the crowd over drinks, get a clubhouse in the woods, more beer, add a laser printer and a computer, start communicating ideas, more beer, buy some guns, beer, beer, shit in the coffe cup of the local DHS head and leave a note, start a pissing contest/dick whipping contest and before you know it, it's on like donkey kong.
LOL....
Local towns have veteran's clubs, moose clubs, gun clubs, join them. Get to know the sheriff also. Begin talking about it within your church, family, neighborhood with people you already know. Do not talk to strangers about this. Hand out fliers anonymously about agenda 21's intentions.
Consolidating our nations into one totalitarian govt is their intentions. Total and unshakeable control for the rest of fucking eternity. It would be sentencing common man to a primal scream that never stops.
I used to play a game called "Settlers" in early 90's. In it the player had to explore foreign lands and compete for resources, occasionally engaging in battles with rival parties. To produce a soldier, the game required 3 reagents: 1 sword, 1 shield and 1 beer keg.
Yea we used to weld together windmills out of those shields.
We used to play "progressive tyranny". It required lying, stealing and murdering. Everyone lost.

First we move the ferns aside, at my local watering hole.
organizing around the truth gets you killed.
if you want to take down the established order, you do in secret, the truth is secret , and your public facade is either a liability or part of your strategy.
you do not walk nakedly around proclaiming the truth as you brithday suit. PEOPLE ALREADY KNOW THE 'TRUTH'. you weaing the truth on your arm just singles you out for the authorities and for those lowlying scum that want to rise to the top by snaking you.
and a very painful part of the truth you liberyt folks don't like to hear or accept is that a significant portion of the population DOESN'T WANT THE TRUTH AND WOULD RATHER SHOVE LIES DOWN THEIR THROAT THAN ANY SO CALLED TRUTH.
for them, the truth is food on their plate and distractions on their television or internet set, and maybe to be current on their rent. for them , that's the truth. and when that truth changes, and they go hungry , it's already to late to give them 'your truth', they will search out any 'truth' they can find.
the 'truth' can be weaponized. by truth i mean what matters . by 'truth' i mean couternarratives that explain underlying realities which explain why things fall apart for a lot of people.
AT LEAST 1/3 OF ALL people DONT WANT THE TRUTH, especially if they have children .
MANY MANY PEOPLE DON'T WANT THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH.
how does this make you feel about the truth?
You are totally correct on this. Nailed it. People would rather be slaves, and they will help hunt down people who expose truth and kill them, if it means they can keep living the lies.
There's philosophical truth and practical truth. People must come to accept the latter or they'll starve, freeze, sicken and die. The question is who will be in the better position to offer individuals their version of practical truth when TSHTF, the oligarchs or the entrepreneurs?
With 300 million firearms floating around? Nobody. Get your now while they are cheap ;-)
Firearms keep the population safe, that's why the left keeps trying to ban them. This isn't some region of the world were different groups fighting each other over territory. Don't be surprised if Americans instead come together to help each other in a crisis.
What does the number of firearms have to do with it? You can be armed to the teeth and still die of hunger if there's no one to either pay you to produce or pay you to kill. I'm a big fan of production myself. That's the only way to get a reliable supply of more and better stuff. I suspect that the death of the petrodollar will make that abundantly clear.
Ignorance has always been bliss.
which breeds hubris.
Organizing around secrets alone gets you killed and you lose the long game. The founding fathers had public institutions and secret groups. The public has to be exposed to the truth as often as possible, otherwise your "secret" groups will be painted any shade of grey the government wants and you cannot grow a movement (though the size of the movement is not as important as the quality of the people who make up that movement).
Beyond the function of not allowing the bad guys to write history as they please, it really doesn't matter what 1/3 of all people believe or don't believe. It only matters what you believe, and what you as an individual are going to do about it. As the author said, without risk, there is nothing. All this talk of the "majority" not wanting to hear the truth is just an excuse for pussies. The majority is overloaded with spectators. Only people who follow through with their intent actually matter in the grand scheme of things, the popcorn eaters in the theater seats don't count for much. It is the job of any freedom movement to find as many people as possible who will actually follow through with their intent, publically and secretly.
The people are under attack from the air, food, medical community, educational system, economic state.
It has taken me, a speed reader news hound 15 years to read what was required to determine what I concluded is America is an occuped nation and her people are about to be sent into a state of slavery after a cull that leaves anyone dead but the healthiest who will be slaves.
Me, brief introduction, as a high IQ, street wise person who has a history of reading a millino books from childhood up, of being considered a THINKER a DEEP THINKER and a wide person in every place I have a reputation in am here to tell those who still love their country and are in a position of power, that the point of no return is near and how you die is the only question, and that dying will be preferable to what is in store for you. I have travelled half the world, am the daughter of a foreigner given an ambassadorship to US in mining industry.
This is all you really need to know. Stand up for you brothers and sisters.

Won't disagree
But no need to fight the state, it regularly collapses of its own weight
The reset is coming
Look at this behemoth piece of legislation the criminals in charge are trying to ram through, the TPP, a "trade" agreement that hands over all power to mega-corporations:

Throwing in with Oath Keepers is a sucker bet. Way too many informants and compromised members. The lone wolf who is a quiet professional is one of the unpredictable agents they fear the most. They don't tell anybody what they are doing and attend no meetings or rallies. They sure as hell don't give interviews with Pete Santilli either.
I would bet many of the Oath Keepers are Feds. They infiltrate then cause hate and discontent. On that point Brandon is correct. IMO the country will probably have to break up first, then one will see small groups emerging.
The only other way I can see any threats to the existing government will have to be many lone wolves acting on their own with little to no organization and causing much chaos and confusion.
An armed organization going up against the government won't succeed without the backing of the citizens and the standing down of the military. Russia's military stood down during their recent revolt letting the civil rivals go at it.
The lone wolves have been covered before by others. Their main purpose is to cause the chaos and confusion you mentioned. Done properly, they keep the militarized cops off balance and tie up their resources. They should never cause bodily harm to anyone but play hell with equipment and patrol scheduling. No traces are left i.e. fingerprints or ejected brass. Nobody sees or hears anything due to good tradecraft. After a while, the authorities know they are dealing with somebody who could take them out if they wanted to and that these are people with equal or superior training and experience to theirs. This usually indicates ex-SF guys or ex-intel types but not always. It's a dangerous but necessary game that the media will not cover when incidents occur. One medium sized city in flyover country is dealing with persons unknown shooting out two tires on parked patrol cars who also has the ability to interfere with their communications at will. Should make for a great movie someday.
Unsustainable is what unsustainable does.
Lone wolves are worthless. They have no ability to serve or secure the community they are a part of, they can only, if they are lucky, secure themselves. Without organization pre-SHTF, lone wolves will come out of their little hidey holes in the mountains to find America changed forever, they won't be able to do a damn thing about it, and no community will want to work with them, because hey, who the hell are they? Secret squirrels are for the most part only afraid of the feds and that fear blinds them to the bigger picture of community preparedness.
I think you're right - his anti hierarchy rally cry here is indicative of why a movement would be coopted and taken over by any other group that decided to have hierarchy. All you have to do is have your operatives meet before the so-called "natural" and "loose" non-hierarchical meeting - and you can run that shit. I'm serious, people need to study and cite to actual historical movements - whether they are of the same political bent as you or not - examine what worked and what didn't and make your arguments about what is best within material historical contexts...otherwise it's just blogger puffery.
The truth only works when people want to hear it. The majority in this country have no interest in it and will either turn you off or turn you in. Brandon has a good heart though. But believing the lie that people really care is going to go bad for him.
People "care" in direct relationship to their life expectancy.
You'd be surprised actually.
"Liberty's what's in the bossum of man.". Even though he's not even a man " but a mere boy."
Cointelpro was a failure btw. People took to the Streets and they saved some serious soldier butt in the Nam. "How do you turn a man who sees the very freedom he has been ordered to die for?"
Not easily I would argue.
The applicability of law vis a vis the State is quite broad actually.
And as All Gore was informed "there is no higher Court than the Supreme Court."
They are the SOLE arbiter of what is law itself actually.
To say nothing on The Law's behalf is indeed to speak volumes about law itself.
The Supreme Court has "the US Marshall Service" this is true.
But America has..."the State of South Carolina.". The Governor can simply ignore Federal authority. That would be all the Governors actually.
In theory they could bring suit against the Wall Street bailouts actually and start asking the simple question "how did too big to fail happen in the first place?"
That doesn't sound like a BANKING issue to me.
Truth is always the best way.
Too much work trying to remember lies. Unfortunately the system, including the education system, reinforces the lie.
We see it in resumes, the words politically correct are in themselves a lie we are expected to conform to.
The President has lied often and been caught in it, there is no outrage as it is expected from 'politicians'
Lawyers lie, advertisers lie.
Truth is the best way, but there are times it is necessary to lie.
For example, the people who were hiding people like Ann Frank and her family during WW11. When the Germans came knocking on the door looking a person would be a coward in telling the Gestapo the truth and admitting they were hiding in the house.
When you are protecting the innocent from certain slaughter, the lie is necessary.
I'm a truth always sort of person. It has gradually weeded out the bullshit people in my life - made me progressively poorer - but the clarity of purpose and courage of principle it lends one is like wielding a massive weapon.

ZH is not a honey-pot.
That being said, be aware the internet is forever and at some point your words may be used against you should current "Law" be reinterpreted.
That's why we're all long on lead.
"ZH is not a honey-pot."
So that's why I never see Pooh Bear around here.
The lead-in for this article sounded like a job description for community organizer.
Heat seeking drone remote controlled to be withint 500 ft of dual citizens in public office, holding them hostage to either abandoning their elected position within our govt or face the consequence.
Treason charges do not hold on a man who is not a citizen of the nation he betrays.
This is murder is it not?
This is not "heat of battle" but "targeted assassination who's only end can be anarchy.". Dragging Ghadaffi's body through the streets?
Who gave that order?
Thats a HEAD OF STATE.
USA is the only nation in the entire world which allows dual citizens to hold publically elected office.
a nation cannot withstand treason from within
You are a fine example of why commercials accrss the globe are now protraying americans as ddull stupoid slow and useless creatures so annoying that the upcoming torture will be recorded and used to amuse the masses while they starve to deeath .
Mind the fucking store or get out of the way you prick.
I think Bunny is correct. Upgrayedd is a lawyer and knows that even the Israeli government makes their dual citizens renounce their US citizenship if they want to work in government. Looks like the US got duped by some folks.
Those that have woken up should erect a Liberty Pole in their front yard, and then move to Rejection.
One's Stopping of paying, playing, and obeying is the equivalent of huffing, puffing, and blowing their ponzi skyscraper of debt down.
The banksters need to repay us.
The most powerful weapon the American people have is Rejection.
The system of fraud and theft that has been built up upon the backs of the American people is dependent upon our backs. Withdraw our backs, and the whole scheme collapses. This is our greatest weapon.
Stop Paying--Put it into food, and precious metals, etc. They stole whatever "debt money" they loaned you in the first place (fractional reserve banking) and soon you won't be able to pay them anyways, so Stop Paying.
Stop Playing--Stop being a tool for them to use, mock, and call "stupid." Stop Playing.
Stop Obeying--If they are in violation of the Constitution then they are not legitimate anyways, so Stop Obeying their unlawful dictates.
The Four Rs
Rejection: Stop Paying. Stop Playing. Stop Obeying.
Revolution: It is inevitable, so prepare, as they are.
Retribution: The guilty must answer for their crimes against the American people and the Constitution. No “truth and reconciliation,” but “trial and Retribution.”
Restoration: Restore the American people, country and Constitutional republic.
KC, as a personal strategy, I follow this. I have to say though - and I've been on about this recently - this is NOT a plan to change anything. I'm sorry to say, it's another abstract theory that goes from the individual (i.e. I can personally reject these things in my life) to the political (i.e. when everyone does, the system falls). However, there is a HUGE gap of how reality can come to reflect your personal choice/view. That is, there needs to be organizing and action. Without that, I find your comments (which again, I personally aspire to follow completely) more abstract theory. It's upsetting to me because I know that you and the author of this article are probably practical people - however just because an action is morally clean and absolute (all of this rejection) doesn't mean that it isn't at some level selfish.
Again, I'm not saying people shouldn't also follow these 4 Rs. For me, it represents a very important ritual and practice. It keeps my soul clean and sights accurate. However, it's sort of like the idiots trying to "save the climate" by each individually driving a Prius. Certainly you can act as if you as an individual are doing everything you can, but absent putting your spirit into the mix of human society and organization - you're just praying everyone somehow decides, based on no material interests or reason to join you. I hate to tell you, most people don't just up and put themselves and their family in danger because of principle. They will do it out of necessity and they will do it out of self-interest. Pure "rejection" bears none of those hallmarks. The individual is the seat of liberty, but liberation only comes from the community of individuals.
