The Death Cross Of American Society

Tyler Durden's picture

Presented with little comment aside to ask (rhetorically of course), who is The Fed working for?

Wall Street vs Main Street

As BofAML warns, if Main St. doesn’t recover this year on the back of the powerful cyclical combo of lower oil/rates/currencies then the specter of “policy failure” will haunt investors, and currency wars, debt default and deficit financing will become macro realities.

And once again I be proved right.

Everything from the minute you popped owt your mothers bits, was nothing more than a fucking filthy stinking lie of proportions you have to research to even have a grasp of just how fucked you are, thats how far we are gone.  Your mother was full of shit, then your school was full of shit, your university filled you even more shit and then you got a job which if you tell the truth was nothing like you 'Believed', or were led to think of.  Eh?

Your wages come from a monetary system that pays you for doing real work owt of currency they print from thin air, and then add fucking interest that you will slave all of your life to pay back.

Your politicians are bought and paid for, blackmailed with very fucking precarious photos of them fucking kids, proven.

You all, every one of you, and I include me, have a lived a lie, every fucking bastard day we have been on this Dogforsaken planet.

You know when your temper is being stretched, when you want to lash owt at the injustice you fucking well know is going on, and the fucking filth and deprivation is being done in your name?  You know when you want to try and right this wrong?  Its coming.  We all know whats going down, but they never thought us fucking plebs could have a forum where we could understand and learn why we feel like this.

Now that shows you their mentality, doesnt it?

Cunts, utter fucking cunts.

Is that so?  What can we expect from China, the new rich kid on the block?  Cookies and ice cream?  This is a BUSINESS PLAN for investors and an act of war against America along with a cult-like fanatical hatrest of WHITE PEOPL called goy.  And the only thing that allowed this to happen is MEDIA TAKE OVER.

The Chamber of Commerce within the USA should be placed in front of a firing squad for what they have done to the US businesses.  The globe WILL NOT be better off without America.  The US Unions, as imperfect as they turned out were what created a middle class.

Oh, yes, cheer on the demise of America.  NATO nations ..what is the fucking point.  Destorying entire generation of military aged men and women in 1st world nations.

Sure, resources help but there are lots of places with resources that are also hell holes. But keep pushing the big lie that it was all a gift, just because you aren't getting what you think should be your fair share.

People who settled and developed America died doing it. It wasn't like they just got their EBT card refilled. Study a little history outside of the progressive reading list. We have it fucking easy by leagues in comparison and yet we whine because we was robbed, and that our ancestors were thieves as well. Bad shit happened as it has always happened. We can easily find fault with virtually ever civilization in history. Get over it.

Live your life as you are willing to demand others do, and maybe your example will enlighten and encourage others to do the same...or demonstrate the utter stupidity and futility of it all for all to see. Take a chance.

Wrong.  The sparsely-populated Congo has more natural wealth than America ever had and yet it's one of the worst and poorest countries in the world. The incredible subsidy of cheap energy can not be left out of any development of america's middle class. Ditto for the GI bill and the many reforms that came out of the Great Depression: regulation of banks and utilities, 30 year mortgages and federal deposit insurance, TVA and Hoover Dam electric projects, etc, etc.

Now we are investing in pot farms and video-generated mind "enhancement" and having ROI confiscated through interest rate manipulation. Any real revolt would simply start with 5 1/4 % interest at the bank, bringing back Regulation Q for instance.

You don't need to call anyone out. Simply quit buying their lies. Without our participation, they die a natural death. It is our collective acceptance of their lies, of their promises to deliver something for nothing that keeps them in charge. People clamoring for someone to DO something, like their legs and arms and mouths are restrained in someway. Simply quit buying what they are selling. The appeal to greed, that you too have have all this for only the small down payment. That you too can have success and fulfillment if you elect me to be your champion. That you too can retire with millions by letting me invest your saving in these grand companies an investment schemes.

Just don't buy it and they will go away. Of course if we wait too long, they will own it all, including our body and soul as they will have purchased for a penny all of our future labors.

What is evil? The willingness to take full advantage of people's weaknesses?

What is stupidity? The willingness to sacrifice everything for immediate gratification?

One thing for sure, you cannot defend yourself from evil with stupidity.

You will notice that this cross also was reached at the same point the birth-death rate for small businesses went not just negative, but permanently negative (approximately 2008 time frame). I've worked with small businesses for 20+ years now and they have been at the base of my business model since the early 1990's. My focus has been on the accounting, financial, and strategic business side of the equation but I also support operating, HR, and marketing related matters. I've spent so much time in this space that I've had the opportunity to co-author five books with my father on subjects that directly impact small businesses (which I classify as $1 to $50 million in annual revenue).

What I can tell you about the last six+ years is this:

- My business model is dying if not already dead. When 70k more "potential" customers are dying each year they being created, the writing is clearly on the wall. But it's not just dying from the reduction in businesses, its dying from the fact that small businesses have no chance competing in today's market. Capital is extremely expensive if available at all (unlike that for large corporations), quality labor has all but been siphoned off by big business (think the damage of the ACA), the regulatory environment is beyond managable (tax rules, ACA, banking/Patriot act, environmental, safety, employee benefits, you name it), and the list goes on.

- For these bankers to now just get the importance of this chart and others supporting the death of the middle class, small businesses, and American dream is a fucking insult. Really, you're just figuring this out, that the structural damage created by the greatest heist in American history is going to be a problem for long-term economic growth. Are you fucking kidding me! I work with various financing sources on the credit side of life and they are absolutely clueless, I mean utterly clueless, as to what it takes to start and build a business in today's environment. I've never experienced such a worthless group of fucks that have no ability to think outside of their tight nit world.

- The core base of people that would actually start, launch, or build a small business have been wiped out, with no resources or appetite for risk to own and operate a business. Tricked into investing in the dot.com and subsequently looted in 2001 along with being hammered by 9/11. Then convinced to buy a home in the mid 2000's only to get wiped out with their equity, subsequently lose their jobs, and then tap their savings all during a crashing market, they were officially cleaned out by 2010. Their entire strategy since this time period has been to basically just survive. I have countless direct accounts and stories about the small business market over the past six years that all lead to the same conclusion. The upside reward in relation to the risks taken basically make no sense in today's environment.

I could extend my rant but after reading the comment from the BOA SFB, I couldn't resist as it really just stuns me that they live in such a fantasic fantasy world. But then again, with Washington being surronded by a beltway and Wall Street basically being surronded by a moat, why should I be surprised at just how distant, clueless, and out of touch from reality these parties really are. Wasn't George Bush that referenced the term Axis of Evil being Iran, North Korea, and some other country. Well the new Axis of Evil are the twin W's, Washington and Wall Street as they've combined, in nothing short of ten years, to kill the golden goose that the America economy was built on.

If it's any consolation (it's not) but it's the same all over. The small privately owned businesses get the shaft from all sides. Here in Ireland I know one family father, mother and daughter, who ran a nice little cafe. They gave it up and all went on welfare. Said it was just easier that way. They don't have quite as much money but have no hassle from the various parasitic stage agencies and their time is their own.

Things are truly serious when a society reaches this stage.

Great rant - though it's really too substantive, and accurate, to be a mere rant.

FWIW I prefer to think of the "bankers" as the Pole of Evil; the various governments of the world, together with their minions in Infotainment, have merely been been purchased by the masters of "money", to facilitate the deception, and fleecing, of the populace.

FWIW, I think we're just now finishing up with the fleecing, and moving on, selectively of course, to the slaughterhouse.

Don't forget current small business and the challenge of creating any growth.  It would amaze politicians and people how many one or two person shows exist.  Hiring has become value loss.  Taxes squeeze you for every drop.  Insurance is expensive and still probably won't cover anything after paying exuberant fees for years.  I would probably be considered impoverished even with a thriving business.

This analysis is flawed in the same way virtually all "rich vs poor" discussions are.

It makes no distinction between the rich who earned it (like, say, Steve Jobs) and the rich who stole it like politicians and their pals.

That's because those doing the analyses don't care.

And that's because most of them are aspiring thieves themselves.

PO'd because somebody did it to them before they could do it to others.

Bank Guarantee Insane, Corrupt Banking Ponzi Scheme, Auditor’s Dog and Pony Show

.
"Professor William K Black spoke today at the Irish Banking Enquiry held before the Public Accounts Committee. His presentation was ‘NOBBLED’ by fearful bankster cronies (in my opinion). However what he did say made it onto the RTE 6 1 news which is a wonder itself.

‘Concerned members of the Oireachtas Banking Inquiry have branded their latest witness as “high risk”, after they rejected his intended opening statement, the Irish Independent has learned.’

Here is what he did get to say to the white wash brigade." d.e.

the bankers need the "sovereigns" to enforce
the strip mining of the resources from the
people and lands. if they cannot corrupt
the representation of the sovereign, the source
of the sovereignty, then they resort to violence
by those or other means. the veneer of civilization
is exquisitely thin in the high minded circles and
the minds of those in the trenches are considered
as plastic putty to be molded into whatever shape
desired.
.
peace.
ps.

i'm pretty sure the "east and the west" are
partners at the top puttin' on a dog and
pony show to eat their own constituencies.
get it? it is an actual way of life and
"conspiracy", except, it is right in front
of everyone's face everyday. it is called
"currency" or "legal" tender.
of course, like all illusions, it has advantages
and facilitates motion and flow, relationships ....
.
but that doesn't end the discussion or make it
right, moral, ethical or optimal. there is where
they get you. it has its charm but has a nasty
bite. they seduce you with the charm part or
crush you with the bite and few are left asking
the question, " is there a better structure immediately
available with less bite and more charm? "

In addition to the Four Rs, the American people should be compiling a list, call it the Crimes Against the American People List (CAAPL)?? A list of known pol, crat, functionaries (funcs), and bankster criminals that they are aware of.

Oath violating and treasonous gun and badge thugs, corrupt pols and crats, thieving banksters, etc. should be placed on it. At a minimum, their names, crimes, and positions, should be kept for future reference for accountability, trial, and punishment.

When the DC US finally collapses, these lists can then be used to root out the known criminals that will think that they can hide among their victims--no "Truth and Reconciliation," and no quarter.

No. You haven't noticed how good they are at cashing out long before TSHTF? Consequences are for proles.

The Ceau?escus are the exception. They weren't killed for starving their people in a glorious revolution. They were pushed aside by bankster agents in the Romanian Communist Party. Ceau?escu threatened to become competition in the market for lending to fellow dictators after he finished paying off Romania's debt to the last leu. That had never been part of the deal. To cap it all he had forgotten to exempt the army from austerity.

First thing the National Salvation Front did, after suppressing its opposition, was to rack up another huge debt.

I've been having this problem lately and maybe some of you here can help me out. When ever I go out in public and hear people talking about the economy and how things are picking up or how good the stock market is doing I have a natural and uncontrollable reaction of LOLing.

It's like a tick. I can't stop it from happening but I almost don't want it to hoping some gullible person actually asks me what's so funny.

What's funny though is I could literally stand in front of them for the better part of two hours and tell them what's so funny.

Any help would be appreciated as this disorder gets worse every day.

I thank you for your support.

The malady of which you are suffering from is called the "Ordered and Logical Thinking" Thought Disorder. You have become infected with that malady by attempting to think for yourself rather than rely upon the Media Commentators to tell you what to believe.

The cure for your disorder is to merely stop thinking.

It is far easier than you might believe it to be...

In order to affect a cure for this disabling social disorder you must keep your Television Set turned on and pick your favorite News Channel...You must keep your TV Set running 24-7-365, even while you are sleeping, actually, especially while you are sleeping, until the symptoms of your thought disorder abate.

When you can quote verbatim the likes of Candy Crowley or Sean Hannity, in accordance to your preference, then you know that your recovery is well underway.

Then you must stop READING any material as all readable material may be subversive and be counteractive to your therapy.

Stay away from any websites which contain subversive or controversial material, as Zerohedge for instance, as this will also be counteractive to your therapy.

Get a good Government Licensed Psychologist to help you through this troubling episode as your brainwashing and programming has been altered.

We also suggest that you begin drinking copious amounts of alcoholic beverages. If that does not help then we suggest that you use a lot of prescription medications combined with the alcohol and the use of illegal drugs.

Do not get caught.

Good luck. We know that you can do it as we have been listening to everything which you have spoken and have read all of your personal writings.

/s/

Your friends at the NSA.

PS...We need you to be an obedient servant. You are a patriot, sir.

Yes I have euphoric friends basking in the Dow telling me how I should have kept my investments out of gold/silver.  Anyone riding high in the markets and has a good job, thinks I have mental problems.

Then the so-called business sector also discriminates against this same group, and the "entertainment" industry blatantly ridicules, demeans, insults and spews forth a pernicious agenda in its "films" "TV" and etc.

American tech employees forced to train H-1B replacements

the third employee interviewed said it did not appear that the company was interested in keeping any of the IT workers targeted for layoffs, and they weren't being offered the chance to apply for other jobs. "They just want to get rid of us and clean house," said this IT worker, who now worries about keeping her home.

So also supporting with our tax dollars the government that DISCRIMINATES against us that is working to ERADICATE us from the land our forefathers built the greatest nation on earth.

Another tech-worker, Diane Drozdowski, was forced out of her job at American Express in Phoenix, AZ. After her manager used "bully tactics and psychological warfare" to try to get her to quit, resulting in a mental breakdown, she was replaced by two Indian workers based in India. American Express flew these Indian workers to Phoenix and forced her to train them, upon threat of losing her severance pay.

It is far more than just training.  This is in health informations as well.  Or in laymen's terms, medical records.  We are being replaced by developing nations, india more specifically.  They are now the managers and Quality Assuranced has turned into hell on earth for the Americans.  As a Canadian, I watch them being picked at, abused, insulted, fired for nothing, tricked, the recipient of maneuvers which seem to be focused on destroying them financially but pulling rug out from under them. Never have I seen anthing like it and that is why I worry about the propaganda war on the planet.

AMERICANS ARE BEING TARGETED if there is anyone around who happens to care.

Americans perfected this job with their close attention to fine detail.  Until I state my country, I am assumed american as well, and feel the disdain, pure contempt, almost ridicule and dismissive disgust for me turn into "oh hi, how are you? when I say i am a Canadian.

In Germany and Japan, the average CEO makes less than 25x the salary of an average employee of the same company.

In America, the average CEO makes more than 400x the average salary of an average employee of the same comapany. In low wage retail industry the number is much higher.

You don't need to know anymore than this in order to understand what is wrong with America's society.

Have you attempted to calculate how much the average salaries would increase if the executives pay was rolled back in? I would imagine it wouldn't make much difference for most corporations. I agree it seems ridiculous to see these disparities but I think we allow ourselves to be distracted by envy rather than dealing with the real problems.

I know were you're going here, and your right. If you did the math, it wouldn't amount to much. But then the ultimate goal is marxism - "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need"

But in fact, we don't know that the average employee salary WOULD increase. The extra money could go into R&D, expansion, dividend payments, or increasing cash balances for future acquisitions. Even if it was explicitly targeted to other employees, would there be a rule that it only goes to the lowest paid employees? Also, if you pay CEO's less, what potential impact does that have long term to company competitiveness? Maybe earnings go down and so pay has to be cut across the board. This affects the owners (stockholders) of the companies. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess the original author of the article doesn't have piles of cash in the companies that would be affected by such a policy.

If U.S. companies are paying their CEO's too much, why don't stock holders and directors cut the pay? Isn't it possible that one reason the U.S. business are so successful is that stock holders and directors do a better job of recognizing the value of a good CEO and have bid those employees away from the cheap ass Canadians (and elsewhere)?

I would also ask why we would expect the CEO to average pay ratio to be the same in different countries?

It's all envy all day long (that and general non-thinking)

Naive and grossly oversimplified.  I suspect the point most here would make about this issue might be one of the following:

#0:  The CEO isn't the only overpaid jerk in large US corporations.  So the amount of wasted or stolen money is much larger than often claimed (looking only at the CEO).  Also, the concentration of so much money in the hands of these executives gives them the power to manipulate the entire corporation by favors.

#1:  How about "to each according to his abilities".  Very few CEOs have hundreds of times more abilities than dozens (and sometimes hundreds) of their better employees.  What they do have "extra" is... connections and power.

#2:  CEOs in the USSA have learned how to stack and control the "executive compensation group" within the company.  These days, stockholders rarely control squat.  Just like the US government, the predators have learned how to ignore their own laws without being thrown out or punished... just the opposite in fact.

#3:  Which is just part of the larger issue... the CEOs function primarily as polititans, and primarily to cement power into their own hands, not improve the company or its products.  In most cases, of course.

#4:  American companies have had an artificial example since WW2, which makes them more successful in many cases, but not because the CEO is some superman or deity.

#5:  The companies would do much better (for the employees and customers) if the extra wasted money went into R&D, product development, rainy-day funds, avoidance of debt, etc.

-----

Some people may be motivated by envy on this issue, but not all, and certainly not me.  The gripes are totally legit, just as the gripes against the predators DBA government are legit.

I said here on ZH that one day I would be out of debt and that day is today.  I am 40 years old and I don't owe anyone anything.  It feels so good to be done with all of it.  I did not screw anyone over to do it either.  I kept my debt low and did not buy any more than I needed.  Mrs. M was rather perplexed as to how well I kept debt in check for the last decade.  I am rather deflationary by my saving habits and paying of debt.  I did nothing illegal other than save and be cheap.

Well, I did what I said I was going to do and have to sell a gun, ammo or gold but I did trade some silver...for a gun.  I kept buying and stacking.

Mr's M thought I was a redneck but was apologetic today.   No, I am a redneck, hill billy whatever, but one that can figure out finance and has no debt!

I want to thank you all for the compliments.  It can be done.  I think at one point I even that I would run up the debt on the credit cards and then not pay them.  It was another ZHer who told me that I would be no better then them if I did that.  That one caught me because that is morally correct so I chose to pay my debts and not stiff someone.  I see the point clearly but if I am liar vs another liar then would good am I?  I paid every everyone off so I don't owe anyone for any debt other than the next rent/electric/ insurance bills but that is not debt per se but rather than an expense and that got prepaid as well.

I chose to do it the correct way.  My credit was 803 the last time I had to asked and small loan was paid off quickly.  I just did not want to sell any gold and I didn't.  For all of the years that I chose to be the way that I am financially; when I was told I was wrong and a Ron Paul nutcase, I made it to zero debt plus a quite a bit.  Well, I had the ZH philosophy in mind and it works.  I am a nutcase who has no debt and only three old cars on title.  I just need to finish the game by gettting the rest out of the bank without triggering an IRS report.

I don't owe anyone anything anymore and it drives all of them batshit crazy.  I am not rich by any means but when these fuckers see any sort of money in an account, they feel the need to call.  Too late.  Give me my cash please.

congrats! but a bit of context, do you own your own house, car, food and water supplies and have your health care paid out for the nxt forty years of your and Mrs Manipulations life?

heres's a question for you to check out...can you pay a check to your local city, state and government that means you pay no taxes ...ever again..

a bit negative..but just remember, your ocal city and state taxes will be more than the average repayment of the mortgage to to buy your house (principal and interest) in just 20 short years

and your health care costs will require cash flow..ask your providers for a quote today for life time health..and then insure against the default of your health care provider if you do...

truth is ...you are ahead of 90% of the 99% who aren't inthe 1% who don't give a shit what happens...but...the 99% need to feed on your wealth because....they don't have enough vaue and want yours by any means possible...

when we get to fiscal surpluses and det to gdp of around 40% (from 100%) everything you have built can be confiscated by assholes called "democratically elected politicians" and their agents...
