A Personal Note from Brian Williams
In the midst of a career spent covering and consuming news, it has become painfully apparent to me that I am presently too much a part of the news, due to my actions.
As Managing Editor of NBC Nightly News, I have decided to take myself off of my daily broadcast for the next several days, and Lester Holt has kindly agreed to sit in for me to allow us to adequately deal with this issue.
Upon my return, I will continue my career-long effort to be worthy of the trust of those who place their trust in us.

Well, it wasn't anything super special but I came at it from the angle of all the other people who almost certainly knew he was lying for 10 YEARS. Certainly the guys in the choppers did. But I've also heard that the NBC execs knew it, too. It would be nice to see this little snowball start rolling downhill and gather enough speed to start sucking them in as well. The MSM thinks they can say anything to the American people with impunity, including not just blatant bias, but outright lies.
Brian's "time off" is nothing but NBC execs buying time so they can review tapes and figure out how many more lies he told and if they can be denied or explained away. They know if he goes down, so do many execs at NBC news along with him.
I was just trying to make this point to the family. All the higher ups that knew this whole thing was a lie from the beginning:

A small example is AIPAC contributions to politicians stand at a total of 21 million dollars, that they get back perhaps a thousand times back as billions of aid for Israel, not to mention control of markets and command of the printing press via presidential appointments of AIPAC members to the FED and treasury.

NBC has aired segments stating it's acceptable to tell lies from time to time.
During the Clinton / Paula Jones perjury issue, with my own eyes, I saw 2 networks, NBC and CNN, running segments arguing that it's perfectly normal and acceptable to tell a little lie from time to time. “Everybody does it.”
So, what's the big deal about Brian Williams now? And, in my opinion, he has a perfect defense to anything that NBC might say... as they have long ago approved of little lies from time to time!
