If one does a little less, another will make up for it by doing a little more. It's baked into the monetary system. Balancing the budget is a fairytale that politicians tell to get votes. If they balanced the budget, the system would crash. It's a ponzi scheme, and we're going to witness the end of it.

The numbers don't really matter.
The problems we face arise from fiat currency that only a small elite control, compounded (pun intended) by intersets, AKA usury, and fractional reserve fraud, er, I mean banking.
Once a small group who consider themselves better than everyone else gain control the only thing that can change anything is systemic collapse, whether from inside or outside.

But what is going on right now is the GOP is demonizing Obama and the Dems, and focusing on debt and economics. And there are some real serious problems there. But a lot of it has as much or more to do with the GOP and its flaws as it has to do with Obama and the Dems. As bad as the Dems are on economics, race and immigration, surely the GOP has been and is much worse.
But the GOP is going to demonize Obama and debt during the run-up to the 2016 elections. And that will probably crash the market, at least to some degree. And that will certainly be a good thing. So, see, the GOP can do SOME good, at least.
