The Paradox Inherent in Any Slave Nation Revolution
The Paradox Inherent in Any Slave Nation Revolution
Even When the Sociopaths Lose They Win

Cognitive Dissonance
How exactly do you cook a nutritious meal if all you have are spoiled ingredients? The answer depends upon your definition of nutritious and who is eating the meal……and, of course, your level of hunger and growing desperation. It is telling how much less discerning we become when the hunger pains boom in our belly and our mind becomes ever more focused on the single minded obsession of relieving our pain rather than pursuing our pleasure. Although at some point down the slippery slope relieving our pain is pursuing our pleasure.
If I carefully tend my garden, making certain the soil is thoroughly turned and pulverized, the seeds and seedlings properly planted, the area fertilized, weeded and watered and yet my garden’s yield is poor year after year after year, at what point do I begin to question the basis for my assumptions? And clearly there is an assumption of a better yield if I continue to do the same thing and expect different results.
Perhaps the soil is too acidic or alkaline, the area in shadow too long or the crop selection not suited for the soil or geographic location. The issue might be any or all of the above, or it might be something entirely different. Only a fearless and thorough examination of both the garden and gardener will reveal the systemic faults, and thereby the remedies to be employed.
It is a common belief in the West that revolution, at least when ‘successful’ (which usually means a forced change in leadership) produces reasonably good outcomes for the population at large. I contend this is wishful thinking and a deliberately seeded misnomer designed to obscure and conceal the ugly recognition that most often the new boss is quite similar in method and madness to the old boss. Change via revolution should not be conflated with better, nor should it be assumed better is the inevitable outcome.
The paradox of revolution springs from one central source, albeit a source widely dispersed and with many reverberations. Even if the revolutionaries wear white hats and are genuinely interested in fomenting ‘good’ change, with ‘good’ usually understood to mean ridding the country/region of the parasitic leaches and sociopaths along with the madmen at the top, changing the patsies throughout the governmental power structure doesn’t root out the sociopaths embedded within the country’s elite, essentially the King’s court along with several of the King’s men.
Since the King serves at the pleasure of his court, killing the King does little if anything to root out the source of real power in the country or region. Like ticks dug in deep under a dog’s fur and attached directly to the economic blood supply, the established power base must either be thoroughly dislodged, thereby risking utter economic collapse, or a deal made to accommodate their continuing presence in order to enable the newly crowned King time to organize and govern.
Regardless of whether or not damage was done to the infrastructure and overall economy during the revolution, the new leadership often opts to cut a deal with the existing elite in order to quickly consolidate power and demonstrate to the population some sort of progress towards restoration of commerce and an increased standard of living. This very act of questionably necessary compromise and accommodation means the ‘good’ imagined by the revolutionaries has already been sidetrack and subverted, though by how much remains to be seen.

Lady Liberty - A controlling mind meme.
These issues are further compounded since the global elite do not respect national boundaries in the same manner you and I are forced to do. Money’ is fungible, convertible and quickly moved by those who possess both large quantities and international financial contacts. This means the elite can apply significant external pressure using a variety of means to compel the revolutionaries to concede on many business regulations, tax concessions and the selling of national assets if they wish to receive external assistance from the blood sucking ticks.
Basically the economic hit-men are sent in and the revolutionaries are read the riot act. Play international ball or we will take your ball (and possibly your country) away. Facing Hobson’s Choice, either they dislodge the elite and become the next Cuba or North Korea, isolated from most of civilization and it’s economic and financial opportunities, or they join the ranks of the corrupt and in the process profit handsomely from their hard labors ‘liberating’ the downtrodden. It is easy to see how this self serving decision can be rationalized away.
This scenario doesn’t even take into consideration that in all likelihood the revolutionaries already hitched their wagon to a group of elites (internal or external, it doesn’t really matter) during the early stages of the uprising in order to gain military and financial assistance. That bill comes due immediately upon demand, thereby assuring the economic hit-men easy access to the top. In most cases the ticks are already deeply embedded within the revolution.
This brings us to an important corollary to my theorem. With a global and local population thoroughly conditioned with the slave mentality of respect, or just plain fear, for self declared (elite) authority along with severe generational Stockholm Syndrome, even before the revolution begins to take hold the revolutionaries quickly realize in order to win the population over, or simply to neutralize it, they must employ the exact same herding and bullying techniques as the present, and soon to be previous, status quo leadership uses to control the native population.
Essentially the vast majority of the existing population is already suffering to one degree or another under the present day rule. And they are doing nothing to free themselves from their oppressed condition. Other than the very small minority who will join the rebellion when hope surfaces with the insurgency, the majority will remain either neutral (meaning frozen in fear glued to their propaganda mind control devices) or will rise to defend their shepherd……or at the very least their meal ticket. The ultimate enemy of a revolution is not the oppressive government it is attempting to overthrow, but the general population it is trying to 'free'.
This virtually assures if and when the revolution ‘succeeds’ the new boss will appear quite similar to the old boss, since it is nearly impossible to resist using an extremely effective herding technique once the revolution has gained control of the civilian population using the very same techniques. While some of the citizens will welcome the leadership change, for they labor under the mistaken belief good times are just around the corner, for the most part the recently elevated revolutionary King will face a suspicious and even hostile civilian population, especially if the controlling propaganda memes are interrupted by the recent regime change.
All the more reason to ruthlessly quell dissent and consolidate power by making deals with the elite devil(s) while using strong arm tactics on the general population, something the slave mentality will generally applaud as needed and necessary to ‘restore law and order and make the streets safe’. Ultimately a population conditioned to believe only a higher authority can save them from themselves will beg for an authority, any authority, to fill the vacuum left behind when the last figure head authority was deposed.
While over the ages there have been hundreds of slightly different permutations of the above scenario endlessly played out as one after another revolution rises up only to quickly fizzle out, assuring an endless stream of sociopath patsies rotating through the halls of power, the basic blueprint rarely changes regardless of the social, economic or technological ‘progress’ achieved.

The Blueprint for Slavery - Killing each other to benefit the master.
As disturbing as this concept might be for those minds who consider themselves free, we still live, work and play under a form of slave plantation organization. No - the US is not fundamentally different - though this is most certainly the controlling meme, one of outstanding exceptionalism. What makes the US unique (or at least first) is the rousing success the embedded ticks had in developing the next iteration of the slave plantation system, one where the slaves were given limited freedom of choice in exchange for greater participation and productivity. Even now this experiment is coming to a close as the profits dwindle……and with them the slave’s choices. In a sociopath’s world, nothing assures eventual collapse more than unparalleled success.
The biggest difference between the slave toiling away on a 19th century Deep South cotton plantation and the modern ‘educated’ self determining ‘free’ debt addled office, factory or service worker is the degree of mobility, living standard, and belief in our own freedom. Not to mention our rock solid belief in the ‘guarantee’ of our basic ‘human’ (slave) rights. Ever wonder who exactly is making, and supposedly fulfilling, that guarantee?
“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.” - Wolfgang von Goethe
I am fairly certain the prior statements will elicit either violent emotional triggering in rebuttal (denial is often the first line of cognitive defense) or a quiet calm as the slave mind quickly overcomes the sudden rise of cognitive dissonance by differentiating itself from the rest of the herd……as it always does in order to tolerate its captivity. Ironically the latter self subterfuge is the favorite refuge of those of us who consider ourselves awake and aware.
From a practical point of view, while the modern slave enjoys many ‘benefits’ only dreamed of by the slaves of the Deep South, the ‘benefits’ enjoyed by the elite modern slave master which are derived from the exponentially higher productivity of the modern slave far exceeds any concessions the master has made to the slave. Concessions I might add that can, will, and are being rapidly rescinded.
Even though “We the People” believe our selves already free, and the level of technology salted throughout our modern lives tend to confirm our delusional thinking, this technology also serves as the robust chain that binds us to our plantation. The massive and still growing global surveillance state (not just in the USA but throughout the world both East and West) assures the controlling elite not only the means to track and eavesdrop, but to implant the latest mind controlling memes and narratives directly into our minds. Upgrades and updates are just a finger swipe away. The endless variety of news and information sources available at our fingertips virtually assures each of us will be told exactly what we wish to hear, see and think.
With the mind of the master now firmly implanted in our pocket or purse, the concept of revolution can be quickly derailed or co-opted among the great unwashed masses. While this doesn’t dissuade the truly disaffected from pushing back at the margins, it does severely limit the number of minds willing to be freed from the controlling matrix. A conditioned mind always returns to its core dependency for affirmation and confirmation of the correctness of its debased state.
It can be competently and convincingly argued, at least when dealing with a mind willing and able to see all sides of the issue, that far from being free and independent, the modern wage slave is far more indentured to his or her servitude than at any other time in history. What this means is that any revolution, in addition to all the issues outlined above, has a much steeper hill to climb than ever before if it is to eventually ‘succeed’.
Just as enlightening to recognize is one simple fact. Similar to the situation where unless all the head lice are removed at the same time, the infestation continues, so too if the sociopaths are not removed in mass globally with one fell swoop of civil uprising, the infestation continues. While the controlling sociopaths share the same self survival impulse as we mere mortals, they do not share our propensity to live and let live. Therefore they will quickly and efficiently sacrifice fellow elite sociopaths in order to sate the blood thirsty mobs, thereby assuring (or at a minimum prolonging) their continued control of the slave nation.
Because the general population lives within the fiction of the controlling meme, meaning the mostly false narrative deeply embedded within our minds of what is real and what is not, as long as the changing of the guard produced by revolution remains within the controlling mind meme narrative nothing really changes for the slave population other than in the most superficial manner. Instead of a ration of 20 units of chocolate each day I have been assured a raise to 100 units of chocolate per week. Thus even when the sociopaths lose they still win.

I got my raise. Who wants to barter?
After hundreds, even thousands, of years of failed revolutions and endless rounds of rotating sociopath leaders, maybe it is time to question the very premise of ‘revolution’ and what exactly is happening here. Since you and I cannot force change upon the world with the snap of our individual fingers, the only path out of this paradox is to break free from the controlling meme and recognize our own participation in, and endorsement of, the slave plantation state.
This is not to say attempting to protect ourselves from the manipulated herd or the layers of well armed muscle surrounding the sociopath leaders is pointless and futile. Nor should we passively let go when the gathering tide is tugging at our feet. But to blindly assume any response from you or me is either doomed to fail (for example assuming you can’t fight city hall) or expected to succeed (such as being armed and awake in the redoubt) and all points in-between, is at this point utter insanity on our part. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is - well, you know - insane.
To assume I and millions of others can unravel thousands of years of social conditioning and manipulation in mere months or even years if only we were to do ‘something’ is the very definition of self delusion, serving only to set myself and others up for eventual failure. The source of my urgent impulse to action, which usually consists of little more than high frequency vibrating in place similar to a deer in the headlights (an extremely unhealthy state of affairs I might add) is an at times irrational fear for my ‘self’ once my eyes have glimpsed first light and begin to recognize the layers of (self) deceit and treachery which encompasses the modern slave state.
When this is combined with an often falsely perceived close proximity to the soon-to-be mad-as-hell hungry hoards when first light is involuntarily thrust upon them, this bitter cocktail goads my mind into believing something must be done right now or all is lost later. With the brain now effectively short circuited and disconnected, and the body operating solely on fear induced adrenaline, hence the high frequency vibration, we become our own personalized sub sect of the mindless masses. And right there my friend is the ultimate source of history’s rhyme, the co-opted revolutionary mind leading the forever blind.
The dirty little secret dear reader is glaringly obvious once accepted; this ‘belief’ that we must fight fire with fire, that lines must be draw - this far and no further, that time is of the essence and the end is so near, is part and parcel of the overall controlling mind meme. To paraphrase the Architect as he spoke with Neo, “You think you are the first, but you are not. There is a long line behind you and an even longer line ahead.”
There is an unbalanced equation inherent (more accurately described as deliberately implanted) in our programming which results in a tragically poor yield to our endless revolutions. It might be the soil or the crops, the light or the gardener. Then again it might not. The only apparent choices available to us are a product of the controlling meme and are patently false unless they are recognized for what they are. Only our acknowledgement and full acceptance that we willing participated in this macabre dance can invalidate the false choices and open new doors. Either we create our own reality or we exist as subjects in theirs.
To deny these basic and self evident truths is to deny us our ultimate freedom, the freedom from self. This is the source of our power and the elite know this, thus the reason they are so desperate to ramp up their subjugation and control. Their power is simply our power brilliantly co-opted, and all we need do to take it back is snap our collective fingers and they are suddenly naked and exposed. I love the smell of elite desperation in the morning.
This is not false hope, but rather obvious truth. However, unless “We the Individual” can overcome and surpass our thoroughly conditioned and manipulated ‘self’, the game will never change other than at the most local of levels and for the shortest periods of time. There is a reason we rats are always caught in the trap. When we finally ask of our ‘self’ the only pertinent question that matters - why do I continue to play the fool in the slave master’s game - then we can begin to recognize the only path out of this maze is to be found when we finally look within.

Man, reading this made me want a couple of bong hits and some Chinese food.
If the state were smart they would legalize marijuana and give us serfs some legal respite.
The Constitution is quite clear; problem being the equivocators and "yes...but" parasites hijacked it.
Calling out the equivocators, the prevaricators, and taking them to task whether it be a public shaming, tar and feathering, or hanging - would go a long way to ending the bullshit.
Problem being that the police state has such a tight grip physically, and the group mind is so controlled by the MSM, that the guilty are shielded from their comeuppance by layer upon layer of fog and spider webs.
ebwothen, I rather liked Ben Fulford's quip that:
"Marijuana is Popeye's spinach for the mind."
Spinach for the mind? LOL!!!! Most dopers I've met were lazy fux that sat around doing nothing while their brains atrophied. I haven't met one dedicated smoker in my life that had much of anything to say, even though most were convinced that they did.
I once sat and talked with a Jamaican reggae band while they were on their break (and totally spliffed up, which goes without saying, even though I just did). Quizzed them about Jah, Iration, Dread, and so forth. They were all over the map. Not one of them could express their beliefs in a clear and consistent manner, and they even argued amongst themselves about what it all meant. Guess they never got around to comparing notes, or something. That's what MJ does. You THINK you're getting clear, but your really just messing yourself up. Not that messing yourself up should be illegal, mind you. That only makes it worse.
ebear, cannabis culture is a slave society. Slave societies tend to become proud of the stupid things that they had to do in order to survive. Personally, I am NOT fond of the culture that you correctly describe regarding a large segement of the cannabis consuming crowd. When I was younger I was more sympathetic with that, since marijuana back then was way more inherently inside of more radical roles, given the social situation back then, since the vast majority of people still believed in the lies, and Hemp Truth was therefore quite radical truth. Now that marijuana is more mainstream, that is not so much the case, and so, the politics of mainstreaming marijuana appear relatively more pathetic to me.
However, I point out that one of the scientifically proven things about chronic cannabis consumption is that it tends to cause one to be able to forget learned fear. I.e., as a genuine treatment for post-traumatic stress syndrome. Since the social pyramid systems are based on the ruling classes using dishonesty and violence in order to control those they rule over, by keeping them ignorant and afraid, a drug that tends to cause those who were abused to feel constantly afraid may be of assistance. To put it another way, the bullies hate people to laugh at them!
There is no magic in any molecules. Drug consumption behavior is more cultural than pharmacological. Set and setting have more influence on the experience than the drug itself, as any shaman will say! In my view, there are no absolute standards to judge what is "messing yourself up." There are lost opportunity costs related to every behavior. However, there is NO doubt that people who misuse or abuse marijuana are much LESS "messing up" than if they had been misusing and abusing almost any other drugs. I always think that blaming the drug is STUPID. (That reminds me of blaming the guns, or whatever other kind of false prohibition that is superficially proposed as a "solution," which actually makes things worse.)
As marijuana has become relatively more mainstream, I find that there are now more manstream morors and reactionary revolutionaries speaking out in the cannabis culture than ever before. Pot politics is a microcosm of the the larger issues. More and more, mainstream marijuana reform is about making money, and most notions about "legalization" are silly and superficial, because they are not interested in the monetary systems themselves, but more interested about making money inside those systems.
Since pot politics is a mircocosm, the basic two levels of errors repeat there as they do everywhere else. The first level of error is to fail to recognize the degree to which the ruling classes rule through waging war on the consciousness of those they rule over. The second level of error is to fail to recognize that there are chronic political problems which must be resolved somehow, and which have actually been "resolved" by the ruling classes in the most expedient ways that benefit them.
These day, the "war on terror" is being developed to take over from the previous "war on drugs" that was one of the many phases that prepared the way for the social pyamids to get bigger and steeper. The "war on terror" is far, far worse than the "war on drugs."
Marijuana laws were merely the single simplest symbol and most particular example of how society is controlled by systems of legalized lies backed by legalized violence. Throughout history, the majority of people adapted to that by become members of a slave society, that survived INSIDE those Huge Lies, backed by Lots of Violence. Most of the cannabis culture did that ... Some became more aware of the magnitude of the LIES about marijuana. However, virtually none went beyond that to appreciate the existence of the chronic political problems which were the deeper reasons for how and why the social pyramid slavery systems were able to be made and maintained.
I REPEAT THE MAIN PHILOSOPHICAL POINT,
THE SOURCE OF SLAVERY IS THAT HUMAN BEINGS CANNOT MAKE ENERGY OUT OF NOTHING, NOR SEND ENERGY TO NOTHING.
That is the supreme package deal that we get from being alive, as fires that need fuel to keep burning, which can spark new fires through reproduction, that then need more fuel to keep burning. The best and worst come together, and are inseparable. We ARE the transformation of energy. That energy exists IS our life. That we need a flow of energy to continue to live controls us. That has developed to become that those who control money control food, which controls people, and so on and so forth ... Slavery was BASICALLY: "Do what I say, or I will kill you."
There were many other layers of that BASIC POINT. Much more sophisticated social slavery systems have developed, such as debt slavery, through the established monetary and taxation systems. Along the way, the excessively successful triumphs of controlling civlization by backing up lies with violence have driven society to become criminally insane and psychotic. Criminalization of the cultivation of cannabis was an EXTREME WAY that our civilization became criminally insane. The single best plant on the planet for people, hemp for food, fiber, fun and medicine, became rebranded as "marijuana that is almost as bad as murder."
Neolithic civilization was empowered by the development of argriculture, yet, pot prohibition criminalized the cultivation of the single best crop. That demonstrated how insane society has become. The prohibition of alcohol was similarly insane (the historical details of which I will skip over.) The biggest bullies' bullshit almost totally dominates the public spaces. Inside that context, the cultures that control the drug consuming behaviors are NOT based on greater use of information enabling higher consciousness, but rather, mostly based on people surviving inside of a slave society.
Since that is overwhelmingly the case, that is the cannabis culture that you have observed and described in your reply above, ebear. You are surely correct, within that context. However, my reply was an attempt to place that within its larger social context! I mostly tend to argee with you, but I do NOT blame the marijuana for that being the situation. I blame the ramifications of the slave society, social pyramid systems.
I REPEAT, the biggest problem with any Slave Nation Revolution is that most of people involved FIRST do not understand the ruling classes, and SECOND do not want to. I regard militarism as the supreme ideology, as the ideology of the murder systems. Any real, radical revolution has to change the death controls. In order to maintain those changes, there has to develop a better understanding of the chronic political problems, which must be resolved somehow.
Just as most people only are interested in making and spending "money" inside of the established monetary systems, and are NOT interested in that monetary system itself. Most of the people in the cannabis culture are basically the same ... There is only a slight effect of marijuana being possibly like Popeye's Spinach for the mind, as I outlined above. However, that tends to only somewhat mitigate the effects of history of abuse, WITHOUT providing better uses, because genuine better uses would not be possible without profound political revolutions, which would require a series of intellectual scientific revolutions in order to have the potential to replace the established systems of organized crime surrounded by controlled opposition with better organized crime.
The vast majority of cannabis consumers continue to be controlled opposition, in the ways that they still basically believe in the bullies' bullshit, and still live inside of the biggest bullies' social pyramid systems, while taking most of that for granted. Consuming cannabis could be a first step towards understanding that, however, most people who do so never follow through to take more steps. As the saying often goes: "Watch out for that first step!"

This is a satisfying analysis. The many revolutionary changes throughout the world have chatacteristically been subverted very quickly. USA and USSR are good examples. In both case the principles could be portrayed as noble in intent, but when implemeted despots gained control and people lost. Because US produced some material comfort for the masses for a while, it lasted a lot longer.
For example it is laughable in the extreme to a Republican that the interests of the great majority should guide government. A democrat sugar coats things a little better. It is failing.
In USSR only by extreme duress could the people be brought into compliance with the agenda.
It failed Both now have a form of gangster capitalism.
Unfortunately nothing says that there is ever a solution, by revolution, evolution or any means.
Dear Cog- nice article. One of the many but one if the most important things that needs to be done is getting those to question the television. Most of the population has grown up with a teevee in front of them and are constantly bombarded with a consistent message of specific propaganda.
Examples need to be shown to people on how they are being manipulated so they can witness it firsthand. We they start to see they've been lied to they will begin to turn.
Former KGB spy Yuri Bezmenov talked about how the biggest fear the propagandists had was the people waking up to the lies. Just one incident can trigger such a revolt that those that supported them become he states most ardent opposition.
Hopefully this Brian Williams episode might cause some to pause and question what they are seeing and being told.
Although I did write yesterday about a conversation I had with a liberal woman about truth. She wanted to debate what was truth and can it be proved. Very short and depressing conversation.
Someone should totally make a TV show about how TV is used to control us! Trouble is, anyone that would watch that kind of show already has it figured out, thanks to NEW TV, AKA, The Internet.
OK, lets see how long that lasts.
It can only control you if you let it. Exercise your freedom of choice.
Interestingly, found this earlier regarding Magna Carter.
Interestting that the bits about not even the king being above the law and the stuff about taxation are no longer valid.
Fair trial has now become a total joke in UK and most of the 'developed' world.
City of London is still looked after, you may notice.
TPTB use the law to to comit crimes.
Umm...maybe just two remain valid.
"....and the clause that states that no free man shall be imprisoned without the lawful judgement of his equals"
Always remember we are all equal. It's just that some are more equal than others. :-)
And those two have nothing to do with protecting ordinary folks.
Why do you assume ordinary folk need protection? The elite are the enlightened. That is why they are elite. Without them humans would be happy to live in caves...forever.
When a paradox is unnecessarily adopted by some people.
How exactly do you cook a nutritious meal if all you have are spoiled ingredients? The answer depends upon your definition of nutritious and who is eating the meal……and, of course, your level of hunger and growing desperation. I think the obvious answer has been learned & become tradition, you don't risk your health by eating rotten food, therefore there is no natural reason to cook it. Nature is perfectly capable to consume the cooked or uncooked rotten parts for you. I describe nature as 'perfectly capable', because she has many variation, adaptations, and niches that happily consume what another would call waste.
Obviously, your garden soil itself will consume spoiled food ingredients, because the nature of good garden soil is (it should be) full of much live & active things, which naturally decompose & convert all sorts of things. Good garden soil & gardening technique makes use of these naturally live & active things. Is the wind, yeah even high winds, part of nature's ability to dry, tatter, & push rotten materials where to varied destinations, the gardening technique is to use that natural power, sometimes in the form of a fence, or wind row.
The tilling technique is another man-made gardening technique, grinding and bursting the very fiber of nature's soil, yeah even to kill the roots, but also the soil itself. To render nature's soil to nothing but a lifeless growing medium is not only sad, but costly in more ways than one. Just think of the cost to convert nature's rich soil completely dead. Man-made tradition requires a great deal of mechanical extraction, typically followed by chemical treatments, which include fungicide, herbicide, insecticide, & other man-made conditioning agents. The results of these practices often end up in the 'dead zone' of the Gulf of Mexico, killing, stunting, and forcing the very anatomy of things that live along the way to drastically change to the man-made new normal. Americans typically gloss over The Gulf of Mexico dead-zone, and even further deny the dead-zone land, often renaming it in a bountiful mono-crop way.
And just by the way, nature doesn't guarantee anyone gardening success, the seasons of last year will be different, than this years, & next years seasons different yet again. Even the leaves of the sassafras grows taller are not always within reach.
It could be said there are only 3 sides to every fence: this side, that side, & in-between. Which side, each human must decide.
I think the 'the paradox of revolution' is natural, & already pre-destined to become changed over time. Change & variation is natural, as you should find in any garden or even at the top of the page the Zero Hedge logo states: On a long enough timeline the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.
Is revolution somehow pointless, because the revolutionaries with white hats cannot sustain themselves against the parasites. Perhaps. Have the parasites first killed the brain of this USA host, I would say yes, this country is not the beautiful beast it once was. The itching and oozing of blood & puss was neglected, and with many variations the damage has been done, the worms now churn in the brain.
So when I revolt, it is not against what was once a beautifully strong beast, yeah I revolt against the parasites that killed her. Those parasites have many many names & forms: politicians for hire, greed, warmongers, fraud, cronies, people in the middle of the fence,...I have a long list.
I suppose all is natural, but some is unnecessary.

I appreciate your thoughtful investigations into our dilemma, Cog. Unfortunately, it is still a bit to abstract for me to get my teeth into. What specifically are the beliefs that you see enslaving us? Can you make it more concrete?
Thanks
sand_puppy
The key technique used by power hungry sociopath's to take over a people, which incidentally are also the techniques often used by the revolutionary is to capture/subvert/co-opt the images and symbols held dear by the population. For example Bruce Lee's "Destroy the image and you will break the enemy", an approach brilliantly employed by Banzai7.
So.........how many times have the American people been bludgeoned recently by that ultimate of symbols, the US Constitution? Every spy program, national security act and so on has been (mostly) upheld by the highest court of the land (SCOTUS) thus making them 'Constitutional', an absurd conclusion seen from any point of view other than from the top.
Regardless of what the US Constitution was, it has been effectively and profoundly co-opted to become the instrument of our slavery. And yet so many mindless people kneel in reverence for the device/symbol that enslaves them.
Cog, Your article & reply comment re:'the key technique of power hungry sociopaths manipulation of images & symbols to enslave' reminds me of some articles once featured on site and in The Atlantic magazine that outlined a similar methodology exercised by mega churches, evangelicals and glaringly, the Catholic Church whose broad influence in resource rich countries such as Latin America, South America and Africa has kept the populations well distracted while the powers that be complete their long term(25-100 year) plans to harvest, extract and manufacture the rich resources.
While we may not like what Karl Marx represented he was right when he said 'Religion is the opiate of the masses'
Any government contract, registration, license that you have signed or your parents (birth certificate) signed is a contract. You didn't know it was a contract. You were never informed what you had to give up to have the benefit of the contract and were never shown the contract to completely understand what the contract required you to do. That is contractual fraud, meaning if you rebut the assumption that you knew what the contract required you to do, the contract is nul and void of enforcement.
Once you sign or apply for any of the above (yes registering to vote is a contract + a declaration you are a Citizen of the 14th Amendment and a subject) that you DID NOT HAVE TO DO the government assumes you are now ruled by the COMMERCIAL CODES and you have given up your right to your Constitution. This means as a public contractor you can be spied on, stopped and frisked, your money confiscated. That, I believe is what the Supremes have ruled on. You are now a legal person, a fiction like a corporation that can be regulated. :>)
Have a nice day

Thank you for sharing this:
<<That is contractual fraud, meaning if you rebut the assumption that you knew what the contract required you to do, the contract is nul and void of enforcement.>>
". . . we cannot reject as unfounded the judgment of the military authorities and of Congress that there were disloyal members of that population, whose number and strength could not be precisely and quickly ascertained. We cannot say that the war-making branches of the Government did not have ground for believing that, in a critical hour, such persons could not readily be isolated and separately dealt with, and constituted a menace to the national defense and safety which demanded that prompt and adequate measures be taken to guard against it" Korematsu v. United States
Yeah, like that.
Or the one about how if the cop feels threatened s/he can blast away and ask questions later.
I feel threatened by the cop every time I pass one lurking in the bushes to ambush me for 'speeding' or 'no seat belt'. Or when they approach me after the stop with their hand on their gun.
But of course they are the authority and I am just the pee on.
The new development or "growth" in most communities follows a basic model. Look at the brands and stores that come into any growing city in america. Urban planning is designed around their corporate model. And it is replicated again and again everywhere. This is one example of how there is no choice but to have your community designed by them. And welfare support goes directly through them and to them. The finance is back-stopped by bail outs for the elite and the income stream is back-stopped by bail outs for the minions in the form of transfer payments to those stuck at the bottom. I understand we can all partake by aquiring a few shares. But can we change the paradigm?
Dear Cog,
While I agree with your statement here,
as well as your general reflection (with which I wholeheartedly agree) that people historically (as far as the written word goes) are in the habit of believing that only the words and permissions uttered by some so-called and alleged 'higher authority' will give them the will to do something for themselves, we (alas) live in a game-theoretic nightmare in which betting against your neighbor is perceived/understood/believed to bring to oneself/family/tribe the higher yield.
Love is the answer, yes, but I am afraid that too many people have discounted love and replaced it instead with a materialist scientism which is robust at rationalizing almost everything under the Sun.
To most who consider themselves awake and aware but are, yet, still in the grips of the slave mind only fantasies of group awakening/zeitgeist-like moments offer the only hope of a 'new kind of' overturn. But I think that is, indeed, a fantasy.
It is certainly a pickle. What do you say to this?
If I may as a consider myself awake but prolly not kind of guy. We/society have been making the same mistakes over and over for a very long time. Falling into the same traps.
Straight up like a friend let me tell ya. There is another way. What we have now is the fantasy. Everything about it is wrong or lies? So from my prospective this goes on just like it is until we stop holding up these walls. Like the Berlin wall was held up by the guards. Those walls fell down the first night the guards stopped holding them up. But know this. The guards on either side could have let it fall.
Maybe if we substitute the word 'fantasy' with 'imagination' it will take the sting out of your statement so we can explore it further.
First let me make a statement.
"Everything we currently consider physically 'real' (meaning man made in order to narrow the scope of my assertion) first began as something imagined as man."
Now let us change a few words.
"Everything we currently consider physically 'real' (meaning man made in order to narrow the scope of my assertion) first began as a fantasy of man."
I don't really have a problem with those who think "group awakening/zeitgeist-like moments offer the only hope of a 'new kind of' overturn." I tend to agree.
BUT, there is another aspect to imagination being the first step to creating reality. Once it is created in the mind it must be acted upon. If we are talking about the physical world, someone has to physically engineer and build what was imagined in the mind. If we are talking about a spiritual awakening of some sort, are the people promoting it actually walking the talk and 'making it real'?
Our 'new' reality must overcome the dominant reality in order to gestate and grow. That is not as difficult as it may appear on the surface since the vast majority of minds supporting the present day reality are drifting and naval gazing, and essentially powerless to a great degree. This is how the sociopaths can control so many while being so few.
I have a few personal sayings I try to act upon on a daily basis.
"Action speaks so much louder than words. And you should fake it until you make it."
Meaning talk is cheap and just because you don't know how to do something doesn't mean you can't act like you know what you are doing. So what if you make some mistakes or skin some knees. If nothing else it gets us out of our easy chair. Pretty soon the body begins to learn how to create what the mind has already imagined.
"Everything we currently consider physically 'real' (meaning man made in order to narrow the scope of my assertion) first began as something imagined as man."
Not so. A lot of stuff happened by accident.
Some guy chipping flint arrowheads, for example, noticed that the grass matting in his hut caught fire when a spark fell on it. Penicillin, same thing. Accidental discoveries are far more common than we realize.
You are discussing ancillary results. I am speaking of original creations.
But I do agree that quite a bit of what we 'discover' is not actually intended. Then again, the person who 'discovers' it is often actively engaging in questioning and imagining his/her world when they make their accidental discovery.
this SOF major, got a silver star and now the generals in DC want it taken away:
"Under heavy fire, Golsteyn, as Dan Lamothe of the Washington Post summarized this week, “ran about 150 meters to the trapped MRAP to retrieve a powerful 84mm Carl Gustav recoilless rifle, an anti-tank weapon. While moving under gunfire, he coordinated a medical evacuation for the wounded Afghan soldier and then opened fire with the Carl Gustav.”
Running through the open despite the fact that the Taliban had successfully pinned down the rest of his men, Golsteyn looked like he “was alone fighting 30 enemy fighters out in the poppy fields.” He then coordinated airstrikes from F/A-18 Hornets and a drone, silencing the enemy. The battle lasted four hours."
bet he never read "war is a racket".
.I was very interested in this part of the story :Golsteyn looked like he “was alone fighting 30 enemy fighters out in the poppy fields.”
perhaps others in his unit were like many of us in Nam had come to this : I ain't gettin waxed for this stupid politicians war.." special note in the "poppy fields" LOL
seems our hero major never got the memo. PS I think this is spot on to this thread.
Good stuff CD.
One of the things I find odd is that most people know this. They just seek out ways to not face it. To hide from it. To put off the fight for another day. That part bugs me most. They are getting kicked right now. The fight has been going on nonstop for all time. TPTB just dont take days off. While we were sleeping they built some rather impressive monopolies to control most aspects of life. Deep down in the back corners of the mind its there. The knowing.
This brings me to something my great grama said to me. You can learn more sorting things out in your head just before you go to sleep than you will ever pick up in school. Because understanding and accepting the knowing is the basis of wisdom. When there is noone around at night before you go to sleep. There is no real reason to lie to yourself. Knock that off and you might remember all your dreams.
This brings the spirit world into focus. What you find there they cant teach in school.
"While we were sleeping they built some rather impressive monopolies to control most aspects of life."
Your statement is key. The vast majority of people are not satisfied with incremential progress. They want it all and they want it yesterday. The idea of working all your life on a process that is not significantly changed by you from when you started, meaning a two or three hundred year project, is completely alien to the average conditioned mind.
However, as long as the sciopath can extract some benefit for themselves during their stewardship they have no problem working on something much bigger than they are. Besides, at the very least the present day sociopath might just get his or her name on the corner stone and then there is a legacy to brag about. :-)
"working all your life on a process that is not significantly changed by you from when you started, meaning a two or three hundred year project, is completely alien to the average conditioned mind."
Depends how much they're paying, I guess. I don't need to see the end of the project as long as the checks don't bounce;)
Yes. But you are a special bear. ;)
I was speaking more from the point of view of emotion.
the progress to get to this point in time is monumental(the good). to see(fear of) revolt tearing it down saddens me greatly. the rule of law does not apply to the king and his court. we are at the crossroads of freedom(liberty). i don't have a playbook on how to enforce the rule of law to the rulers. it always points to the money changers.
they have corrupted the system from the core. this created money has created the very problems we face today. seems to me that this reform in itself would get the checks and balance back to a basically "good system", free enterprise.
it's the money system, not the leaders corrupted by the money...
It is one thing for a lot of people to realize that they aren't buying their shit anymore. It is another thing to form a supporting infrastructure to unite free thinking individuals that they cannot bastardize by getting everyone assigned to one of the political teams. That is their trick. They have convinced everyone that you got to select the party or political channel. Or you are part of a third party that never wins. They have already called checkmate.
In my opinion Ross Perot scared the shit out of the elite and they will not make the mistaken again of allowing a third party any credibility in the mainstream media.
Here is a big lie that covers many sins. Big money determines who wins all elections. If you believe that lie, that you will miss the slight of hand. The rabbit hole is right in front of your eyes, in broad daylight.
That meme is promoted to pull the mind, body and spirit even deeper into the rabbit trap.
Don't forget Ron Paul.....the elite went full court press boogie on him as he began to stir the sheeple....looking from the perspective of being in the trenches, it was simply amazing to watch. Now how long the machine can continue to spin their propaganda will be the question.
Ron Paul, while in some respects an outsider, is still a Republican and always has been. Which means he is a member of one of the two major political parties. In my opinion most people see it as political infighting between (slightly) different points of view, just as they were told to think by the mainstream media.
I am talking about a true third party candidate that is marginalized and pushed aside by the main stream media.
As I don my protective gear, you mean like Ralph Nader?
Yes. Very much so.
Why do so many hate those few who are (imperfectly) trying to help us help ourselves? You see the same thing when looking at the ACLU. Just because they take a position that chaps our ass doesn't mean we should oppose everything they do. Yet people slap a (derogatory) label on them and then go dumb and never rethink what it is they are hating.
I'll write your name in next election !

The political process is doing exactly what it was designed to do. It is not a case of it suddenly careening off the road because it has never been on the road. It has just become more obvious to many more of us.
electronic voting may have made that a moot point !
Chicago cemitaries have electronic voting.
The reality is that the larger mass of humanity crave a leader. The revolutionary is just another leader. They crave to be lead. They crave to trust. They never mature as does the adult wolf, because they like the dog have been bred to remain childlike. The hope for mankind is that their systems collapse. Men become feral. Their descendants mutate or evolve to a higher level.
Meanwhile, it's a brave new world without hope for domesticated mankind. Live your life, let them grovel in theirs.
True, and this is the call of the anarchist of the Bakunin flavour. It is interesting that the Kurds in Kobane are actually less political in their anarchism and more along the economic lines of same said notions. I wonder how that experiment will turn out (if they manage to keep the ISIL bitchez out of their neighbrohood).
The hope lies with entrepreneurs who can pick up the pieces and insist that they will only provide employment, goods and services to those who accept a system of capitalist anarchy.
Unfortunately those who wish to effect real, lasting and permanent change NOW either don't understand the fundamental underlying problem or are in denial of it. As I mentioned in the piece, hundreds or thousands of years of conditioning combined with generational Stockholm Syndrome is not overcome in months or even years. This is a multi-hundred years process at a minimum.
This doesn't mean we cannot improve our lives here and now. But nirvana is not around the next curve.
"Unfortunately those who wish to effect real, lasting and permanent change NOW either don't understand the fundamental underlying problem or are in denial of it."
I feel more at risk from people who *think* they've understood the fundamental underlying problem than those in ignorance or denial thereof.
To start with, who to say there's a fundamental underlying problem in the first place, let alone whether we've correctly identified it or not?
I'll have more to say later when I get home. Right now I gotta go pick some cotton.
