Schauble Shoots Down Stock Surge Catalyst, Says 6 Month Report Is "Wrong", Says If No New Programme "All Over"
When we reported about the latest trial balloon floated by the European commission, namely that Greece may be granted a 6 month extension, we said very clearly, because we knew precisely what was coming, that this report "has to be validated by other members of the European Commission as well as Merkel and the other Germans (and may well be refuted, considering this is Europe)" and "this is after all Europe, which means Eurozone ministers always float trial balloons headlines ahead of major meetings like the one tomorrow, gauge the market reaction, then quickly retract them. Well, the market test has been conducted."
Case in point:
- SCHAEUBLE: REPORT COMMISSION TO GRANT GREECE 6 MONTHS `WRONG'
And here is Europe drawing a red line:
- SCHAEUBLE SAYS IF GREECE DOESN'T WANT A NEW PROGRAMME, THEN IT'S ALL OVER
- SCHAEUBLE: EURO REGION NEVER FORCED PROGRAM ONTO GREECE
No Europe, they are not laughing with you. Laughter aside, this of course, means that Greece now once again has full liberty to engage Russia and China as sources of funding right?
And the market reacts...

Welcome to the Grand Illusion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW8TlrYhBxk
Hey Schauble, can you do a burn-out on that thing you rode in? A skidmark? A wheely? ;-)
Looney
WHAT I SAID!
I owe you a bottle of Metaxa then ;-)
Looney
Exactly Schauble! Time ripe for Germexit!

Funny, I thought that Greece wanted a new program.

So, after Greece exits the news cycle are we back to Ebola or the Ukraine?
Collapse of shale drilling capex.
I think we're up to asteroids or ufos by now.
Missile Command?
Ufos. Ah, another area the Rockefeller family have heavy influence.
We could be back to Grebola with a touch of Mykraine.
Things are getting pretty serious. Juncker will implode under the weight of his lies.
Ronda Rousey is trending...
Schäuble might be less important in all this game as he himself thinks.
He's just another puppet.
Markets up, up and away, in my beautiful, my beautiful trial balloon ... oops, not made to German manufacturing standards, down it comes ..
You know I would find this comment especially since Kaiser mentioned it the other day. For some reason I find it hilarious.
The sports world sure is crazy. First LeBron takes his talents to South Beach, then Michael Vick takes his dog-breeding to Rügen Beach.
Now have the Greeks fucked themselves with the quote of getting funds 'AT BEST' from the US, then Russia or China.
No that will be refuted and we're back to where we were this morning, except the DAX is 100 points stronger. Complete BS.
Ain't it nice to know that a few honest men, who actually represent their constituants, can defeat the fraud of a central bank.
the central banks are representing their constituents, no? Its just that people like you and me aren't among them.
Its not about Russia or China its about more free money from printing euro bonds. Sadly that is what will happen because even Merkel will have no choice if Greece leaves the euro.
The bonds will be issued as an emergency mesure to stop the rest from exiting along with Greece.
Euro bonds will be issued or there will be no euro. Greece or no.
SELL...SELL...SELLL.
GOLD AND SILVER!!!!!!
I suspect people are being set up, blackmailed and targeted as we speak.
It will be over for you and ALL your ilk at the EU Commission when you have to explain to the German taxpayers that they are on the hook for more than 10 Trillion Euros of derivatives in order to keep the European banks alive you dumbfuck.
That rumor floated the markets for a solid hour or so. Hmm, what's next?
There's alot of script folders they can pull from.....maybe next hour the whole world will hinge on Ukraine again.
Hey remember when the whole world hinged on Greece like 3 years ago, then suddenly it was all forgotten for 'something completely different'? Yea nothing but market whack-a-mole.....another few weeks and Greece will blow over again for something else that covers up market manipulation.
"German Talkshow Panel To US Official: Peace in Ukraine Up to Europe, Not US. Former US ambassador to Germany John Kornblum riled up his hosts by playing down the importance of the Franco-German peace negotiations on Ukraine, stating that "Russians respect only strength, not conciliation." The ambassador noted that while "it's wonderful that Europe is doing something…nothing will be achieved without the participation of the United States." In his words, "the bottom line is that the power lies in Washington." Retired German Air Force General and former NATO Military Committee Chairman Harald Kujat joined in on the conversation, pointing out dramatically that what's at stake with these negotiations is the threat of a general war in Europe. He noted that "there is the danger that the war in Ukraine will turn into the war for Ukraine. This would be a development which no one would support." Furthermore, the General noted that "if we stupidly enter into this war, we won't be able to win it; we will lose, and this will be catastrophic." Kujat noted that with the Merkel/Hollande peace mission, "no effort can be wasted in order to do something in the name of peace and for the people of the Ukraine." When Kornblum claimed that "Russians are fighting this war," Kujat retorted, noting that "we are always told from various sides that regular Russian forces are participating in the conflict. Ukraine's president has consistently repeated this. However, I have no evidence that would prove this with absolute plausibility." RIA
Oh for crying out loud. When this all first started all the other European countries yelled that Merkel needs to start acting like a 'leader' (meaning she needs to start handing out money). Now WHAT did Europe expect when they put the Germans in charge? The Germans are going to make Europe in its own image and its finance in the shape of the Bundesbank.
Now they got a taste of German "leadership" they now want to go back to their old ways. What nonsense. You have duplicitous French (today Greece must pay, tomorrow Greece's debt must be reduced, next day...) and the UK who has one friggin foot out the door.
THIS is the harmony of Europe on display for the world to see. Before the US stepped in with troops in Europe after WWII the Europeans could not go 20 years without slaughtering themselves.
This is their history; this is their future.
LOL...... and here we have historians writing countless volumes on what happened :-)
You have Joe BigDick sailor with pockets full of cash visiting the whore houses. All is well. The second he stops paying, the whores look for a new sailor.
The human condition is incurable.
and now what?! algos gone fucking crazy..
All you need for a perfect chocolate fudge.
Alternatively, for a Greek fudge . . .
The Greeks only need about 11 billion for the next six months. Certainly access to all the NATO secrets, intel, encryption, security, computer networks, etc should be worth that much to Russia and China...
Tickle us, do we not laugh?
Prick us, do we not bleed?
Tell us to buy, do we not buy?
? Wolfgang, Wolfgang uber alles... ?
I didn't understand the reaction this morning. There has always been an 8 billion Euro extension of the current bailout program available to Greece. Tsipras has simply refused to take it. There is no way that Merkel is going to offer an 11 Billion Euro extension with no strings attached and Tsipras simply because of campaign promises won't take the bailout extension.
It is really pretty stupid. Tsipras should take the bailout extension, use the additional time to negotiate a 1.5% budget surplus requirement and higher taxes with less headcount cuts. Tsipras can't do that though because he is an idealogue that won't take the extension of the bailout simply because he said he never would.
Greece deserves what they get.
