You've got me thinking. That idea is not quite so far out in left field as I initially thought. It is, though, based on the premise that the MSM reporting on the cartels is accurate, that's the only info we get on them and there's no reason to believe it any more than any of the other shit they spout. Although Kardashian does seem to have a pretty big ass, so they're not always full of it.
If the cartels are what they say they are, then arming them up could be seen as an existential threat to the US. You'd see an unimaginable panic in this country. I think WWIII would be a certainty (not too far off it now, I know). And you'd get to see how the US population handles the true reality of war, when it's in their own back yard. Not too well, I'd guess.
