Must have WWIII to distract from USD collapse.

And you wonder ....
With this Administrations track record any weapons gifted to Ukraine will be used against NATO within a year.
I guess there is a bright side to this.......
SEE SEE SEE THIS IS BUSH'S FAULT.....he's an oilman afterall....
So France and Germany see Putin broker a deal that when the war start's they can go on Russia's side and fuck America and it's lap dog . Amerca puts up a brave fight and falls , America is bombed into the stone age and most Americans are killed by the bombing , starvation, cold ,disease , et al . Then china ,Russia invades and the real bloodletting starts , America has gone and so have all the gun's after all it is easier to kill 350 mllion people than to control them . Now we have the roll in of the new world order as the last stumbling block (America ) has gone . Mission accomplished. So when the American troop withdraw from europe that will be your last chance to get out of America , if you stay expect WW2 Germany all over again.
It really wouldn't take much. Read "One Second After".
Sadly this is probably the plan. Putin, and Ukraine is all a put on, TPTB have stated that they already have their NWO, Putin is part of this problem, reaction solution game I suspect, playing his part in this theatre, becuase they havent been able to take our guns, America gets shafted. Solves that problem for TPTB. So the USA keeps terrorizing the world and the world cheers when the USA gets nuked in the end. As in 911, norad will stand down, everybody will wonder why the usa didnt for back. Bend over here it comes again, I can see the writing on the wall.
with the ukies record, they will be captured within a month.
Nice, easy French heritage reference there...........................
"we snipered some folks...."
No, THEY snipered some folks, to be precise.:

"Must have WWIII to distract from USD collapse"
Wouldn't have to happen if China can be persuaded to get its shit together, and kick-start the BIS/SWIFT alternative, whereby the BRICS & Friends (Turkey, Iran, Argentina, Venezuela, the Central Asian 'Stans', Greece) essentially abandoned the USD for all practical purposes.
But noooooo, the Chicom oligarchs are to damn happy taking advantage of the fire-sale prices of their 'friends & allies', who are suffering by still being part of the USD (BIS, SWIFT) regime. As long as King Dollar is crushing their commodities and PM prices, the Chicom are laughing all the way to the Shanghai bank. And so is India, for the same reason. Both China and India are "talking out of both sides of their mouth", as far as I can tell.
Which goes to show that in geopolitics, there are no Friends. Only Allies and Alliances of convenience.
Well, more accurately, WWIII is all about trying to strengthen and widen U.S. dollar hegemony, by collapsing any regime like Russia that dares to question the petrodollar.
What goes around, I heard the Pygmies in Africa are supplying blow pipes with poision arrows to "insurgents" in the US.
Of course Bongo would give the contract to his family.
What well "used" words.
Conspiracy theorist, one who is off the wall nuts.
Insurgent, an evil person that kills good people.
(Brainwashed idiots who believe the above is true.)

Conspiracy theorist, one who understands the truth.
Insurgent, a citizen of a country fighting off foreign invaders.

Nobody said "Democracy Building" didn't have good flow
The govenment steals my money, buys weapons, gives them away and calls it diplomacy. I take my money, buy weapons and give them away I'm a Felon.....
It's a matter of scale. Steal $1,000 end up going to jail. Steal $1,000,000 end up getting elected to political office in Washington.
That is a great quote on Corruption.
"The govenment steals my money, buys weapons, gives them away and calls it diplomacy. I take my money, buy weapons and give them away I'm a Felon....."
School of Comedy, Ep. 4 [Troubleshooter]
we did the same thing in the 80s supplying the afghans with weapons and the result was a failed state. Doing the same this time might lead to catastrofic results. Europeans don't want us involved so lets stay the hell out.
What we want is irrelevant in DC. Doncha know that yet?
To do nothing is criminal...and now so it would appear is doing something.
"Just don't call it diplomacy" is all I ask.

After transforming Libya into a bastion of democracy and freedom, how can the US State Dept. possibly improve it's track record? I absolutely love listening to the State Dept.'s Dipshits [spokespersons] it's hard to find such original comedy...
Yep.
Isn't Jen Psaki a blast? I almost fear that she believes the bullshit she says. I really don't think she and that "Earnist" guy get paid enough for the shit they have to put out.
"Today President Obama made several difficult decisions. He had a choice of a Fairway Wood or Five iron to reach a difficult green ,par 4, in two."
I tend to think not only do we have a shadow government, but we have powerful foreign agents that place great power over our power, military actions, foreign policy, domestic policy, financial policy, and economy... not to mention our civil rights.
- In the news
Saudi Arabia: Shooting of Muslims By Atheist a ‘Terrorist’ Act
"Saudi Arabia said on Sunday that the killing of three North Carolina Muslims by atheist Craig Hicks was a "heinous terrorist" act and called on leaders to end aggressions against Muslims."
- Tell me what the crap Israel, Saudi Arabia, or China have to do with our laws, DOJ, and the Movies we watch.
- Sure tell me it is all our "Treaties", but I don't see that in the Constitution, or has to do with our "State of Justice", or our Individual Rights. Show me where it says in the Declaration of Independence of the USA, the US Constitution, or founding documents where foreign agents get to Lobby our US Congress OR US President... how they get to play in US Politics and Legislation.
- Tell me how wealthy from Europe, US, or US Banks get to control elections and congressmen, show me where a $1 Billion dollar campaign for US President is Legal, Free Speech
Dual Israeli Citizens run our media they own 90 percent of all channels and newspapers including Reuters etc. So yes a forwign government runs our country and you will see this when Netanyahu comes to give his speech. Congress will kneel down and suck his penis.
American Foreign Policy. Destroyed the government in Libya, not just the ruler, but the entire civil government and society. Latest news is the mass expansion of ISIS terrorists all over Libya. Again, Syria, America destroyed the civil government and society, ISIS and Al-Qead run riot there. Iraq, the US destroyed the society, the civil government and the ruler. Now ISIS, Al-Qaeda and all forms of Jihadists run riot. Yemen, America picked a ruler, he failedm now Jihadists run riot.
Anyone see a pattern?
Ukraine, USA took over the Kiev government. Fascists and Nazis and all form of criminal lunatic run riot. And a bloody civil war grows into a major military conflict. With worse to come.
What a record for Washington DC. Utter fuck ups. Spreaders of death, disasters and chaos.
"What a record for Washington DC. Utter fuck ups. Spreaders of death, disasters and chaos."
Jack, have you ever thought that this may be by (neocons) design rather than by ignorance and hubris? You know, order out of chaos thing...
Being reconized for being good at what we do.............Priceless.
J.B. That post is as on target as any today. Congrats. Milestones
So let me get this straight Jack, you personally expect different by supporting and pumping the other side of the coin do you? Are you really so unblinkingly naive as to expect a happy ending by supporting Putin's armed proxie war attack in Ukraine? There was a time when I thought you were a fairly sharp and adept thinker and observer, but you keep doing and proving the reverse.
Re: Jack Burton - Anyone see a pattern?
I finally saw the pattern with Lybia. It has nothing to do with "communista", "islamists", "rebels". The West backs criminal pschopaths and brings them to power. This way there is no "democracy" to deal with, just some henchmen.
Libya was and is, a boldface maniacal blunder of Hillary Clinton.
Just what henchmen is the US in control of in Libya now though? The whole thing has been an incredible failure, complete fiasco, one of the greatest eye-sores in US foreign policy history. They're quietly trying to nudge it off to one side and kick it under a carpet and pretend it's OK, so it doesn't rudely impinge too much (like an inconvenient crawling carcass) on the pending US Presidential election and its foreign policy posturings and farce. Makes one dry heave contemplating it.
And now the chaotics in Libya (what else can you call them) are pledging support to ISIL. And don't try to tell me ISIL are CIA, rubbish, the US kicked it off, no question, but the US control is gone, it is a blob and it means business and they do have to go. Create the problem, provide a solution, for sure, but the resulting wildfire got away from them, the drifting embers are spotting everywhere. But yes, the USA (and MIC lobby) and Israel (primarily), and Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Saudis and GCC are all responsible for this wildfire.
Conflagration to come, if it's not hit hard now, these are just the spot fires. Oil price is going to go lower and staying lower, economies of the region will atrophy and decay.
Time to pay for the sins of the fathers.
Yeah, and why does that apply just to Washington, who has still not decided to flood in arms, and not to Moscow, who is actually sending in arms and personnel and has sought and obtained approval to DEPLOY TROOPS to Ukraine?
It's because the author of the cartoon is a partisan moron who can;t see the Forrest for the trees.
carry on dimwits ... what could possibly go wrong? ...
Russia didn't start that war. Russia is not going to leave the ethnic Russians to get slaughtered. Certainly not with NATO weapons. Whoever is in charge of Obama's Eastern Europe foreign policy should be taken out back and beaten to death with a copy of Lloyd Gardner's "Spheres of Influence"
I know you aren't dumb Quin, so what gives with this crap?
The ethnic Russians wouldn't be slaughtered at all, or even interfered with or trammeled, they were not acting as an opportunistic fifth column for a colonizing insurgency that has now militated to armed rebellion, and a fielded an army that is directly backed by arms, training and logistics from Moscow.
Are you really trying to tell me you think there's no real problem with that?
That the world will just go on like nothing is happening? Do you really think European NATO countries, especially Germany, France and UK are going to let that go even if the US walked away? They can't, and they won't and they have already said they won't and I have quoted here in zh a couple of times now where they said they won't and the only end point they will accept is the recognized borders of Ukraine remain inviolate, as the most fundamental principle underpinning all their diplomacy on this topic.
Clear enough isn't it. Are you just going to pretend that will go away? Come on, think it through, like I know you can, what do you get?
Magnanimity and blinkers to what Putin is doing won't cut it. It's not me you have to convince, it's reality that has a problem with your views, and that won't be fobbed-off with trenchant denial.
But if you think I'll accept your position stated as fair, unbiased and reasonable, I won't.
You detest Washington, the system, I get that, and I fully respect that. But pretending Putin is offering a way out, a possible future connective economic solution, via invading Ukraine with Russian proxies who are actually ethnic Russians, and did openly declare that they wanted eastern Ukraine to become Russian (Putin said no, because that was still a bridge too far ... maybe next decade) is a seriously barking proposition and stance to take.
Please, tell me you have more that that going on in your head right now. You seriously disappoint me if you don't Quin, I expect more out of you and presume you do have more than submission to laughable Putin-can-do-no-wrong propaganda dirge.
nazi, can you recall Odesa masacre?
you dirty war monger.
Would like to meet you in the dark, dirty nazi.
Oh, a Nazi now, and a warmonger?! ... drink less vodka fool.
The issue is; those are Russians in Ukraine that are rebelling. They are seperated from Russia by a line on a map. The Ukrainian government was overthown by a Western backed coup. The new government has deep NAZI undertones and made anti Russian statements from the start. It has repeatedly called these citizens terrorists and foreign invaders. The Russians that live in Ukraine want no part of it. Ukraine has always been within Russia's sphere of influence. There is huge history there. Russia will always have a responsibility to those people and that region despite what Rand McNally draws on their 2014 world maps. This is what the Russians living in Ukraine think:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK6Cb6ywEUQ
To think Russia is going to act any with indifference towards Ukraine is not correct. They have shed their blood in Ukraine in every major European conflict in the last 200 years. Ukraine will be WW3 if Obama doesn't learn some history. I am not in love with Russia or Putin. I just don't live in Obama's fantasy world.
We can sit back and say "it" won't happen this time. If we are wrong it was just an academic exercise. Those people are Russians that live in Ukraine. They don't have the luxury of trusting a government that said they have to "die in a nuclear inferno", and that is backed by the same idiots in DC that turned ISIS loose on the world.
I don't have time for Obama's mouth anymore. He says two things at once, or flat out lies. His nonsense talk does not confuse me, it insults me. I discount everything he says. What I see in his lack of interest in the Ukraine peace talks, continued Russian sanctions being added this week, and demands that he be allowed to further arm Ukraine, is that he is not interested in allowing the ceasefire to become a lasting peace. It may appear I am on Putin's side. But Putin happens to be correct in this situation within almost every context. That cannot be ignored by anyone.
Thank you for sharing that Quin and for your circumspect neutrality. Your remarks are well made and put with a clarity that gets heard. I'm sure you see the validity in the points I made above also. Looking at recent reports the ceasefire is collapsing. How they can hope to pull this thing up again is far from clear.
If it all goes to hell from here it's been nice knowing you.
You are totally wrong. Germany will not interfere here - it did in 1941 and it did in 2013 and now it wants to keep its distance. Merkel has just received a bloody nose in Hamburg and will find out just how irritated her populace is with her policy. 30% population of Ukraine speaks Russian, it is the richest part of Ukraine, it has the industry and that industry depends on Russian markets and has no real prospects inside the EU.
Ukraine is run by Oligarchs who siphoned off State assets cheaply and salted away IMF money in London and Switzerland. The US should be pumping billions into Ukraine to pay for health and welfare - it failed to look after Iraq and look how that turned out
What is the US backing in Ukraine ?
Militarily, nothing, the US doesn't have combat troops deployed in Ukraine, it is not fighting there, is not using air power, and it has not committed to supplying weapons, it is not at war (not even remotely close to it in fact), and has declared that is sees no military solution in Ukraine.
Diplomatically, the US and the entire west in fact, and most of the G20 countries also, are "backing" the territorial integrity and self determination of an independent Ukrainian Government to chose its own path and to seal its own borders and respond to the armed aggression of Moscow proxies that are attacking it.
Dastardly evil of them, isn't it!
"get out of my face!"
Indeed! It is terrible to see so many lies and half truths. But what is worst of all is the age old tactic of putting words in someone elses mouth and thoughts in someone elses head, and then demanding a defense of them. Also closing ones eyes to a demonstrable truth, in order to buy into a Western Media lie campaign.
It isn't us who have head problems, it is the ones who claim we have head problems who are projecting their own American Education and Media Brainwashing onto us.
Nope, it will not work, or convince anyone. But I hear AZOV Battalion is looking for NAZIs to liberate East Ukraine from it's own population. But I forget, Americans decide where and how these people can live, Oh, the power of being American!
You can cut the crack-up pretension and just point out where a single thing I wrote was incorrect. You may not like it but it is accurate. Squirm if you wish but hollow huffy-puffy isn't counterpoint - it's not even discussion.
How come they're not pushing for free and fair elections then? That's the usual demands from the West after a coup overthrowing a democratically elected Government.
Do you do no reading or research at all? Ukraine have already held two constitutional elections since.
Ukrainian Parliamentary election, 2014
Ukrainian Presidential election, 2014
Thou shalt know thy shit next time.
Why is Maj-Gen Randy Kee USAF in the SBU HQ in Kiev ?
Military's exchange officers all the time. Sovereign states can do anything they want along those lines. You will find a heap of Ukrainian offices in the West too. Situation normal.
The US and the EU are backing a flawed EU association agreement that does nothing to guarantee the neutrality - economic, political or military - of the Ukraine against centuries of European aggression against Russian territory. Moreover the agreement they back would cost the Ukraine around $160 billion in Russian trade and support, without compensating Ukraine for most of it while saddling them with an unfriendly IMF debt scheme. Recall that Putin once supported the Ukraine entering the EU, but once the real designs of the west became clear, he had no choice but to become involved.
And as such things pan out there can be a change of heart and policy toward EU and Russia. I think what the IMF did was abysmal, but then again Ukraine is a beggar and they didn't get the donations in their tin can that they wanted. I have several times said (but not for a few months) that Ukraine's future will always be co-joined to Russia so they should be managing that relationship MUCH better and more realistically than they have, to date. I guess they will learn that they must the hard way. But now Russia's untenable response has pissed off everyone else as well.
Both sides have some pretty crappy leaders who are representing populations with some very crappy attitudes and expectations.
since milleniums it is russian territory, you moron.
get lost from Europe, you agressive killer psychopath.
keep your "democracy" in your kitchen.
keep your free market in your kitchen.
let the whole world alone.
So you're saying Russia is not democratic and Putin is a dictator?
Seriously, drink less vodka, you keep shooting your own foot off with that thing. :D
The cartoon would be more accurate if it included a caracature of a blindfolded Merkel holding the US-provided weapon. Putin has been telling people for years that he opposes NATO encroachment in Ukraine, but everyone dismissed him. Russia may not be a "superpower," but it is certainly a player in that part of the world that you cannot ignore if you are a wise statesman.
"Putin has been telling people for years that he opposes NATO encroachment in Ukraine,..."
That is true Wahoo, I remember his warnings, and you make good points (keep it up).
But what Ukraine does is not Putin's say, and the more he (personally as a persona) inserts himself in the policy seat of Ukraine, the more Russia (not Putin) will suffer the consequences.
And the European Union places new sanctions. Decided by the EU Council on February 9th 2015, then translated into 23 languages (!) and published in the EU Official Journal today and effective as of today. Next to a conclusion of an Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of the Seychelles on access for fishing vessels flying the flag of the Seychelles to waters and marine biological resources of Mayotte, under the jurisdiction of the European Union. And next to the conclusion, on behalf of the European Union, of the Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and financial contribution provided for in the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe.
Anybody in need for an example of how absurd the EU is? Look no further than here...
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=OJ:L:2015:040:FUL...
Seychelles is basically selling out its fishing rights so Spanish ships can fish the tuna
The narrative over time has been simplified for mainstream consumption.
Clearly the west is used to doing whatever it wishes regarding foreign policy or adventures. But that is not news, it is well known.
Ukraine is now a firestorm, and the problems were kindled over time by various actors. And nobody is blameless.
It's entirely reasonable that russian-speaking ukrainians were terrified by watching what was happening in Kiev during the riots.
The evolution of the football ultras through a training and tooling program to become Asov battalion is very scary indeed.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-26001710
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-25826238
BBC is worth reading since they explain how hooligans from both sides have been employed to carry out dirty and violent operations. These are dissafected youths without job prospects who drifted into hooliganism - and now feel admired by society. Suddenly they are important and have a sense of place - even if it means brutal warfare which amnesty international documents in some detail.
The europeans should have strongly condemned early violence and distanced the peaceful protest from the acts. However they quietly saw that this violence allowed the end goals to be acheived. And now the country drifts into the firestorm.
There is no use to try and pretend the problems will go away. And demonising one side over another to craft some easy narrative is to try and dumb down for mainstream news.
The new government should have moved to have discussion with the east and calm fears. Poroshenko instead anounced a military solution and entrenched the whole conflict further.
Now the people of ukraine (normal hard-working people) are captured by leaders driven by increasing hatred and disgust. How on earth can this be diffused?
Taking illegal oligarch tooled-and-armed battalions out of the mixture would help. Re-branding them as Tymoshenko pushed as a "national-guard" will not do. The ultra hooligans must be sent to the real army, or else the situation will mirror that of the brown-shirts in 1920's germany.
I think defensive arms could be important for ukrainian army and also for their police service. How else can they control the oligrach right-wing battalioons? They must have a strong army and police service for all ukrainians - including native russian-speakers who have live and work in the eastern region of the country.
Here is a recent program from UK television. At the very end can you imagine this happening in your capital city and the police just standing clear?
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=98d_1423931054
Also, if you want a thorough grounding in Ukraine I can recommend "Frontline Ukraine". It is extremely well referenced and broad in scope.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Frontline-Ukraine-Richard-Sakwa/dp/1784530646
I hope european and western cool heads can drive policy in a sensible and peaceful manner. I worry about entrenched and bitterness driving old men with old scores-to-settle. Right now there are young people being sucked into this storm in ukraine.
